US Catholic Bishops Thanksgiving message: we thank the US taxpayers for so generously supporting our good works

That headline is a joke of course!

As the Bishops gathered and gave “thanks for the gift and contributions of immigrants and refugees to our great nation,” not a peep was mentioned about the millions of tax payer dollars going to the US Conference of Catholic Bishops “Migration Fund” which allows them to demonstrate their humanity to man (well, to the foreign ones anyway).

Before you read the story, here again is a reminder of just one year of the income the Bishops received thanks to the generosity of US taxpayers.

I wrote this in July, here, summarizing the income that nine federal refugee contractors*** receive for their ‘charitable’ good works.

The Bishops Migration Fund was 97% taxpayer-funded according to a 2014 annual report for their Migration Fund and I doubt the percentage has changed much in recent years.

The Bishops don’t file a Form 990 and their operations are so vast, I could spend the whole day and still not sort it out.  Also, maybe you can find one, but I have not found an annual report for their refugee program since I found this one for 2014.

So we will have to rely on it (again). Keep in mind these funds for their refugee resettlement program do not include millions that go directly from the feds to some individual Catholic Charities and Dioceses around the US. (If you are researching your local CC or Dioceses, you can often find good numbers at USASpending.gov)

Both the federal grants and the travel loan collections are your taxpayer dollars!

Now here is the news from Crux:

U.S. bishops release Thanksgiving message advocating for migrants and refugees

NEW YORK – The United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) has issued a special Thanksgiving message, offering a particular plea for the protection of migrants and refugee families.

Pope Francis Attends A Mass for The Opening Of The Synod
Worried look? As refugee admissions decline, so will their income! Cardinal Daniel DiNardo gets top USCCB job:  http://dfw.cbslocal.com/2016/11/15/u-s-catholic-bishops-elect-texas-cardinal-to-top-post/

In a statement released on Monday, Cardinal Daniel DiNardo, archbishop of Galveston-Houston and president of the USCCB, expressed solidarity with DACA recipients, beneficiaries of Temporary Protected Status, and other refugees attempting to escape persecution or danger in their home countries. [We pay them millions for their advocacy!—ed]

DiNardo cited last week’s fall assembly of U.S. bishops in Baltimore and said the conference was “attentive in a special way to those who are often excluded from this great abundance-the poor, the sick, the addicted, the unborn, the unemployed, and especially migrants and refugees.

“My brothers expressed a shared and ever-greater sense of alarm-and urgency to act-in the face of policies that seemed unthinkable only a short time ago,” said DiNardo.

[….]

DiNardo also used his Thanksgiving message to advocate for comprehensive immigration reform, a long-time policy goal of the USCCB. [If the Senate Gang of Eight bill had been signed in to law, the refugee contractors would have gotten an expanded role and more taxpayer money to sign the newly amnestied up for their government services, just as they do now for refugees—ed]

“This year, I give thanks for the gift and contributions of immigrants and refugees to our great nation. I also pray that next year, families now under threat will not be broken and dispersed, but instead will be united in joy around their tables, giving thanks for all the blessings our nation has to offer,” he concluded.

(Including the blessings of an over-flowing federal treasury that sends us millions annually!)

More here.

I’m going to continue talking about this until the Bishops tell Americans the truth about their income! Why is that so hard?

Canada: Trying to deport thousands, but home countries won’t take them back

Although the story is headlined….

Canada Attempts To Deport Illegal Somali Immigrants

….the article makes the case that the Canadian government is not naming those countries, but obviously someone is naming the countries as we see in the headline and the last paragraph!

The United States is listed as one country not willing to take back its ‘citizens’ (probably for very good reasons!) who fled to Canada!

From Shabelle News (a Mogadishu, Somalia news outfit):

Canada’s attempts to send up to 1,000 foreigners who are here illegally back to their home countries are being stymied by nations refusing to take them back, officials said Monday.

International and domestic laws in most countries require governments to allow their own citizens entry.

“But some countries are refusing to provide travel documents to their citizens or are just outright refusing to take them back,” Scott Bardsley, spokesman for Public Safety Minister Ralph Goodale, told AFP.

[….]

According to the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA), the current backlog of foreign nationals facing deportation from Canada tops 15,000.

[….]

The removal list includes rejected refugee claimants and persons deemed inadmissible because of a criminal background or because they pose a national security threat.

[….]

China, India, the United States, Nigeria, Haiti, Pakistan, Mexico, Somalia, Cuba and Jamaica are the top countries of origin on Canada’s deportation list.

UN badgers Japan again: Take more refugees!

Did you ever wonder why you never see an Islamic terror attack in Japan? It is because they take almost no immigrants especially almost zero refugees.

Japanese-People
Japan wants to maintain its unique culture! Nope! Not permitted says United Nations!

I think Japan is on the right track and have said so over the last 10 years whenever there is a new flurry of pressure from the UN and the Human Rights Industrial Complex (HRIC) on the country that wants to maintain its unique culture and ethnic homogeneity!

However, it is interesting that immediately after I just wrote about Japanese-Americans joining CAIR to bad-mouth America (here) along comes this news this morning.

Someone should have asked that panel: why doesn’t Japan take Muslim refugees?

From Reuters:

TOKYO (Reuters) – The U.N. refugee agency has urged Japan to resettle more asylum seekers, its chief said on Monday, pressuring the country to help solve a global crisis after giving refugee status to just three people in the first half of the year.

Japan is one of the developed world’s least welcoming countries for asylum seekers.

It accepted 28 in 2016, despite applications from a record 10,091 people.

Fillipo grandi shit-eating grin
Filippo Grandi

It has since 2008 given home to limited numbers of refugees through a so-called third-country resettlement scheme, resettling a total of 152 people – mostly ethnic Karen people from Myanmar living in Thai and Malaysian camps.

“That program is very small, about 20-30 refugees a year,” U.N. High Commissioner for Refugees Filippo Grandi told a news conference in Tokyo. “I have asked the government to consider whether it could be expanded.”

Japan’s reluctance to accept refugees mirrors a wider caution towards immigration in a nation where many pride themselves on cultural and ethnic homogeneity.

You will see that Grandi is a bit miffed because Japan isn’t donating as many millions as they did in the past to the UNHCR. Would you donate if you were harangued annually by the UN and the HRIC.

See my previous posts on Japan, here.  LOL! You could call the country a “pocket of resistance.”

St. Cloud: CAIR ham-handed program backfires

We told you on Saturday that in order to hammer home the idea that Muslims are victims in the age of Trump, CAIR Minnesota held a public meeting at the St. Cloud library where they presented a panel of Japanese Americans and asked—could this happen here?

Of course the ‘this’ is the incarceration of tens of thousands of Muslims as the Roosevelt Administration did to the Japanese in WWII.

Their propaganda stunt backfired on CAIR when their leader in Minnesota, Jaylani Hussein, refused to answer a straightforward question about CAIR, Hamas and the Muslim Brotherhood.

He went one step further in demonstrating that instead of being helpless victims, they are actually the bullies when he said CAIR carried a big stick—a statement that put no one at ease.

Here is Hohmann at World Net Daily:

The Minnesota leader of the Council on American-Islamic Relations was asked during a community meeting Saturday if he would renounce the terrorist organization Hamas and the Muslim Brotherhood.

He refused.

The event at the St. Cloud Public Library was part of CAIR’s ongoing “anti-Islamophobia” campaign that it launched in the wake of the election one year ago of President Donald Trump.

About 30 people attended the event Saturday, and they were told Muslims are on the verge of being rounded up and placed in internment camps, just like the Japanese were in 1942 under an executive order signed by President Franklin Roosevelt.

[….]

Jaylani Hussein then presented the Somali refugee community in Minnesota as victims of the latest American racism, taking the form of anti-Muslim bigotry equal to that leveled against the Chinese and Japanese leading up to World War II.

One of the presenters suggested it might take only one trigger moment and the same could happen to Muslims. However….

Local resident Elizabeth Baklaich reminded the professor that America “already had that trigger moment.”

“That trigger moment was 9/11. There were 3,000 people who died,” she said. “… [T]hat was a direct attack that was followed up by war, and if we were going to make this same maneuver against Muslims, it would have happened. … I just wanted to bring that up because I think that’s a fundamental flaw in your thesis,” Baklaich said.

To Hussein, she directed another question.

“I heard you talk about fear Jaylani, and there’s one thing you could do very easily that would help alleviate a tremendous amount of fear in this community,” Baklaich said.

She reminded him of the FBI evidence presented in the Holy Land Foundation terror-financing trial of 2007 that showed CAIR is a front group for Hamas and the Muslim Brotherhood.

“If you want to be our friend, and you want to be part of the community, and want us to accept you more, and work with you and be less fearful of what’s coming in, and what’s going on, are you willing to condemn both Hamas and the Muslim Brotherhood?” she asked.

Not only did he not condemn Hamas and the Muslim Brotherhood, in a rambling and increasingly defensive answer he said that CAIR carried a big stick!

So much for ratcheting down the fear level!

You need to go here and see exactly what he said!  And, don’t miss CAIR’s flyer on the event. Were they planning to take this show on the road?

Suffice it to say, the propaganda stunt to paint the Muslim community in St. Cloud as the victims failed miserably.

Why? Because the general public’s level of knowledge about the Islamists’ agenda in America has increased greatly, and because fearless Americans, like those in St. Cloud on Saturday, are speaking up!

Talks collapse in Germany, specter of new election rises

Talks between the leading political parties are in chaos as Angela Merkel attempts to find a ruling majority.

The two key issues are climate change and REFUGEES.

From the Malta Independent:

clinton-merkel1
One down, one to go!

German Chancellor Angela Merkel pledged early Monday to maintain stability after the Free Democratic Party pulled out of talks on forming a new government with her conservative bloc and the left-leaning Greens, raising the possibility of new elections.

Merkel told reporters that the parties had been close to reaching a consensus on how to proceed with formal coalition talks but that the Free Democrats decided abruptly to pull out just before midnight Sunday — a move she said she respected, but found “regrettable.”

[….]

It is at least a day of deep reflection on how to go forward in Germany,” Merkel said. “But I will do everything possible to ensure that this country will be well led through these difficult weeks.”

Merkel’s conservative Christian Democrats and sister Bavaria-only Christian Social Union, the pro-business Free Democrats and the left-leaning Greens had already blown past Merkel’s own deadline of Thursday to agree on a basis for opening formal negotiations on a coalition of all four parties, a configuration that has never been tried at a national level in Germany.

Key sticking points were the issues of migration and climate change.

[….]

On migration, the Christian Social Union wanted an annual cap on refugees, while the Greens sought to allow more categories of recent migrants to bring their closest relatives to join them.

If the Greens were truly concerned with the environment, they would be concerned about the impact of increased population in need of housing, roads, schools, food, water etc. Frankly, as migrants move to the first world they create more pollution and demands on resources. The fact that the Greens don’t care about that demonstrates they are first and foremost socialists/communists and it is about voting power for them.

The Independent continued:

Looking ahead, if it comes to a new election, polls currently suggest it would produce a very similar parliament to the current one, which would make efforts to form a new government similarly difficult.

More here.

You never know if the election would result in a different outcome—maybe more Germans have become aware of news like this—knife attacks on the rise as migrant numbers increase in Germany.
