It is Happening in Coney Island and Will Happen Where You Live…

….It is just a matter of time because out of control immigration is changing America.

Some towns and cities will change more rapidly than others, but with no brakes on an invasion from every quarter (including from the Refugee Admissions Program being accelerated by Joe Biden), you could be facing what the Coney Island area of Brooklyn is now facing.

I was shocked to see the videos of Muslim migrants, mostly Pakistanis, celebrating in an intimidating fashion the terrorist organization Hamas’ attack on Israel a few days ago.

Check out the horrifying scenes published by the RAIR Foundation:

NYC: Muslims Drive Through the Streets of ‘Little Pakistan’ Intimidating Jews (Video)

This is not Gaza. This is Brooklyn a few days ago. (Screenshot from the embedded video.)

Now that Donald Trump is no longer in office, Joe Biden to restore $235m in US aid to Palestinians. The Palestinian government no longer has to worry about losing hundreds of millions of dollars in handouts from the American government and can attack Israel without consequence. [Update: Biden is sending even more payola to Hamas/Palestinians as they attack Israel.—ed]

New York Jews Under Threat

Throughout New York City, Muslim migrants have been leading threatening demonstrations, attacking and intimidating Jews, and celebrating Hamas’ rocket attacks on innocent Israelis.

In the latest display of Islamic jubilation over the attacks by Hamas on Israelis, Muslims drove through the streets of Coney Island, New York, waving the Pakistani flag and honking their horns.

The celebration took place on Coney Island Avenue in Brooklyn, New York, an area flooded with Pakistani immigrants since the ’80s. The area became informally known as “Little Pakistan” among residents. A once Jewish neighborhood has been converted to a home for followers of Islam.

Just last year, the Coney Island Avenue strip was officially co-named by the city as “Muhammad Ali Jinnah Way,” after the “founder” of Pakistan.

There is much more, including the video, at the RAIR Foundation.

I continue to be amazed that Jews like Ed Shapiro and those running the refugee agency HIAS (formerly Hebrew Immigrant Aid Society) and its fellow liberal Jewish organizations persist in thinking that Muslim migration on steroids will not negatively affect them, their children and their grandchildren at some point.

Now, this will really get me in trouble:  Are some Jewish people missing a gene that drives a survival instinct, or do they think that if they are so very very nice to Muslims they will win them over and Muslims worldwide will recognize their kindness and give up their multi-generational hatred for Jews?

Jewish Publication Questions HIAS Policies

The Jewish News Syndicate finds that many Jews are wondering where HIAS (formerly the Hebrew Immigrant Aid Society) is going with its policies and programs now that very few Jews arrive in America as refugees.

For readers who want to know more about who is changing America by changing the people, have a look at this story entitled:

With HIAS changing longtime focus, supporters question some of its priorities

The Hebrew Immigrant Aid Society, better known as HIAS, was for the better part of a century responsible for helping settle generations of Jewish refugees in their new homes in the United States. From 1881 through the release of Jews from the Soviet Union in the early 1990s, the organization worked not only to resettle the new arrivals, but was involved in assisting them legally as well. Yet in a way, HIAS was a product of its own success and the success of the American Jewish community, whose activism helped bring most Jews over who wanted or needed to leave other countries.

Mark Hetfield, President and CEO of HIAS, the global Jewish nonprofit that resettles  refugees as one of nine federal contractors, led an anti-Trump rally in New York in 2017.  The event was the first of many rallies HIAS organized or participated in working against the President. They have also been the lead plaintiffs in lawsuits attempting to stop the Trump Administration’s immigration reform efforts.

Today, nearly all of the refugees HIAS resettles on an average each year are non-Jews—many of them Muslims from Syria, Iraq, Libya, Afghanistan, Somalia and other Middle Eastern countries.

[….]

As an organization with deep Jewish roots, HIAS’s new mission and purpose are being questioned by some observers, especially during a time of global uncertainty and rising anti-Semitism.

In 1975, the U.S. State Department asked HIAS to expand its portfolio and assist in resettling 3,600 Vietnamese refugees after the end of the Vietnam War and nearly two decades of US involvement in Southeast Asia.

In 2014, HIAS dropped the word “Hebrew” from its name and was simply called HIAS. At the same time, HIAS announced relocation of its headquarters from New York City to suburban Maryland.

Most notable among criticisms is that several HIAS partners have been linked to organizations with ties to terrorism, including Islamic Relief USA and the Islamic Relief Worldwide (IRW), whose leadership recently called Jews “the grandchildren of monkeys and pigs” and referred to the terrorist group Hamas “the purest resistance movement in modern history.”

[….]

There’s a crucial difference between past Jewish refugees and current Muslims, argues Richard Landes, a retired Boston University history professor now living in Jerusalem. “Jews came into the country determined to contribute to America—to be American—but the Muslims arriving now don’t always feel that way. We like to think if we are nice enough to our enemies they will stop hating us, but our history has shown that the incapacity to see malevolent intent in others is itself very dangerous to Jews.”

Controversy Continues! Writer: Show HIAS the door!

News on refugees is pretty sparse these days involving mostly stories about how refugees (including illegal immigrants) don’t have work and are scrabbling to get their government bennies.  Stories like this one from New Hampshire where my message to the Open Borders movement activists is this—you now need to step up and personally help (with your own time and money) all of the migrants you have helped bring to America.

However, I’m delighted to see that there is a spotlight shining on HIAS (aka the Hebrew Immigrant Aid Society) from within the Jewish community.

I told you about the controversy here a week ago.

Now this from the Middle East Forum:

HIAS Endangers Jews, Empowers Their Enemies

HIAS, formerly known as the Hebrew International Aid Society*** until 2014, is in the news following a firestorm over the prospects of Dianne Lob, formerly the chair of its board of directors, becoming the chair-elect of the Conference of Presidents of Major American Jewish Organizations.

Not friends of Israel! Another issue rarely mentioned is the fact that HIAS works in Israel AGAINST the government as it puts legal muscle behind efforts by the government to deport illegal aliens there. https://www.hias.org/blog/strategic-litigation-brings-results-hias-israel-and-hope-asylum-seekers

The increased attention on HIAS provides an opportune time to scrutinize its work in resettling refugees. Unfortunately, a close examination leads to the conclusion that HIAS knowingly promotes policies that endanger Jews, as well as aligns with those linked to Islamist terrorism.

Rather than debating whether a former HIAS executive should head the big tent of all big tents of mainstream Judaism, the Jewish community should instead begin discussing how to show HIAS the door, just as it would for any other organization that enabled dangerously racist communities.

[….]

….the company HIAS keeps is telling. It has been unapologetic in its partnership with the Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR). The ADL has raised serious concerns about CAIR, citing the fact, among others, that it openly delegitimizes Israel.

Read it all.

I suggest that HIAS’s close working relationship with the Southern Poverty Law Center is also concerning.  See my post yesterday.

For new readers, see that HIAS received more federal funding in FY19 under Trump than it did in the best Obama year.

See my HIAS archive for dozens and dozens of posts on the federal refugee resettlement contractor.

The writer uses the word “naivety” in describing HIAS actions. I don’t believe they are naive for one second.

***I don’t know where the author gets this name for HIAS.  See wikipedia here.

Leadership Battle Within American Jewish Groups Exposes HIAS Dirty Linen

In a perverse way, it is a good thing that the leadership of the Conference of Presidents of Major American Jewish Organizations has chosen the Hebrew Immigrant Aid Society (HIAS)‘s Dianne Lob as its future Chairman of the Board because it energized investigators to look into HIAS many activities that for our purposes mostly center around its role as one of nine federal refugee resettlement agencies milking the US taxpayers as it seeks to expand immigration of all sorts to your American towns and cities.

Here Caroline Glick gives us a thorough laundry list of why picking someone so closely tied to HIAS signals a wrong and dangerous direction for American Jewish groups.

American Jewry’s Organizational Crack-Up

Last week an event occurred will be remembered as a key moment in the disintegration of organized American Jewish support for Israel and American Jewish organizational life itself.

Global business leader, Dianne Lob, has been affiliated with HIAS for a decade. https://www.hias.org/global-business-leader-take-helm-hias-board

Last Friday, the leaders of the Conference of Presidents of Major American Jewish Organizations announced that the Conference’s nominating committee had selected Dianne Lob, the immediate past president of HIAS to run unopposed for the position of Chairman of the Conference’s Executive Board. Her election is scheduled to take place on April 28.

The Conference of Presidents – an umbrella group that comprises 53 Jewish American organizations — is widely viewed as the most important Jewish organization in the United States.

Why is Lob’s selection important? On the face of things, it was unremarkable.

People who have known Lob for decades describe her as a garden variety New York Jewish liberal whose views on Israel are in keeping with the views of the vast majority of American Jews.

Members of the Conference of President for their part claim not to know her at all. During her term as Chairman of HIAS from 2016-2019, she didn’t participate in major Conference events like its trip to Israel and Saudi Arabia.

Lob’s selection is an earthquake in American Jewish organizational life is not because of anything she has said or done, but because of her organizational affiliation to HIAS.

[….]

As the Zionist Organization of America documented in a letter*** to the heads of the Conference of Presidents following Lob’s selection, in a declaration before a U.S. federal court, HIAS attested that the refugees they serve today come from “Syria, Iraq, Iran, Sudan, Somalia, Ukraine, Bhutan, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Afghanistan, Eritrea, Tanzania, Ethiopia, Burundi, South Sudan, Uganda, Russia, Belarus, and Burma, among other countries. Many of these clients are Muslim.”

Lob herself attested that 90 percent of the Syrians and 60 percent of the Iraqis that HIAS brings to the U.S. are Muslim.

HIAS’s contribution to Muslim immigration to the U.S. is significant for two key reasons. First it is indisputable that many of the Muslims immigrating to the U.S. are anti-Semitic. As ZOA noted, “according to the ADL Global 100 Antisemitism Index, in 16 Muslim majority Middle Eastern countries, 74% to 93% of the population is antisemitic.”

So by bringing Muslims from Syria and Iraq to the U.S., HIAS is in all likelihood bringing anti-Semites to America.

29 groups make up the Refugee Council USA, the lobbying arm of the refugee industry. They all work with Islamic Relief USA. https://rcusa.org/members/

The second reason HIAS’s efforts to bring Muslims to America is significant is because in its work in this arena HIAS has collaborated with Islamic groups associated with Islamic terrorist organizations. For instance, HIAS has worked with Islamic Relief.

Islamic Relief is a branch of Islamic Relief Worldwide, (IRW). As the ZOA noted, Israel outlawed IRW because of its terrorist activities, including financing of Hamas terror. HIAS has also worked with the Council on American Islamic Relations, (CAIR) which was an unindicted co-conspirator in the Holyland Foundation trial where the Holyland Foundation was found guilty of funding Hamas.

[….]

In Israel, HIAS works with other leftist extremist groups to prevent the deportation of illegal aliens from Sudan and Eritrea. This week they launched a protest with the Anti-Defamation League in Israel demanding that Israel expand the rights of illegal aliens who have lost their jobs due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Continue here, there is much more.

If you are a member of one of the groups that make up the Conference of Presidents, time is running out to let them know what you think!

*** The ZOA letter is here, keep it for future reference if you need information on HIAS!

I have a huge archive on HIAS because of its longtime role as a US resettlement contractor and more recently because it is an unabashed Trump-hating political activist group, see it here.

Ann Coulter: Some Countries Don’t Take Many Refugees Because They are Preserving THEIR Culture

Citing Japan, Israel and Denmark, Ann Coulter muses, here at The Hill about why some countries aren’t being widely blasted as “racist” for not welcoming masses of Middle Easterners and Africans to their tiny bits of the world.

But, we are expected to open the flood gates to America!

Ann Coulter: Can’t America have a little self-respect on immigration?

Couldn’t America have a little self-respect? Japan, Denmark and Israel do.

A must read!

Year after year, for decades, America has accepted more refugees than the rest of the world combined. No country we admire does anything close to this.

Score one for Donald Trump: In 2017, after he became president, our refugee admissions finally dipped slightly below “more than every other country in the world combined.” Go USA!

These aren’t immigrants the host country specifically wanted. We’re not saying, “You know, this country could use some people who know how to restore 17th-century woodwork” or “Wow, this guy and his wife are both neurosurgeons!” Refugee admissions to America are so reckless that this country has taken in Iraqis who deployed IEDs against our own troops and, in at least one case, one of the perpetrators — not victims — of the Rwandan genocide.

[….]

The New York Times explained Japan’s highly restrictive immigration policies as proceeding from “a desire to preserve their culture, a goal echoed by some conservative groups in the United States.” (Duh.)

And National Geographic clarified that Japan’s policy was simply a matter of the Japanese preferring “a racially unique and homogenous society.”

Luckily for the Japanese, they aren’t white, so this utterly logical, natural position on immigration didn’t trigger “white nationalist” alarm bells in our mainstream media.

More here.

I’m delighted to be able to say, see all of my posts going back nearly a dozen years on Japan, Israel and Denmark.

You will learn that those three countries do get a lot of criticism for their restrictive refugee policies, but mostly from the international Leftists and the UN.
