Rohingya Muslims on the way to the US, many others already here

I thought I was done today. I was just going to tackle my bulging e-mail in box when I came across an e-mail from reader Judith alerting me to this news from the Bangkok Post yesterday.

Rohingya boat — Rohingya are coming to the US. This group of young MEN was apprehended by the Malaysian government, a Muslim government, that doesn’t want the Rohingya. So we are taking them! http://news.yahoo.com/malaysian-pm-orders-rescue-migrant-boats-041729887.html

24 Rohingya (Burmese) Muslims are on the way to the US, but the article tells us that since right after 911 we have admitted 13,000 Burmese Muslims (how many are Rohingya?).
Ahhhh!
While we focus on the fact that Syrians can’t be screened, frankly neither can Muslims who get on boats in Southeast Asia (claiming to have been kidnapped) be properly screened!
New readers of RRW don’t know that we have an entire category on the very ‘observant’ followers of Islam that are known as the Rohingya.
We have 180 posts in our ‘Rohingya Reports’ category extending all the way back to 2007. Back in 2007 and early 2008 there was no way the US State Dept. was going to admit Rohingya Muslims, but clearly all that has changed
Here is the story at the Bangkok Post (which won’t let me snip much, so please go read it yourself):

At 46 years old, Basamai, an ethnic Rohingya Muslim man, will for the first time obtain identity documents that will allow him to resettle in the United States next week, along with 23 other trafficking victims.

The 24 to be resettled follow four who left Thailand earlier this month, in a humanitarian programme that has resettled 13,000 Muslims from Myanmar since 2002, according to the US Department of State Refugee Processing Center.

They are not saying if they are coming to your town!

Following their arrival in the US — the exact location remains unknown — the Rohingya group will undergo Cultural Orientation Training before they can be resettled, said a source from the Ministry of…

Cultural Orientation Training, here? in the US? That is a new one on me.
They were screened by the UN High Commissioner for Refugees, and the star of this story hopes to bring his wife and 8 daughters to America real soon!

You probably know already that the EU voted to shove migrants (many are economic migrants, not legitimate refugees) down the throats of countries that object strongly to adding impoverished, mostly Muslim, third worlders to their populations.
There is a detailed description of what happened in Brussels this week at the UK Telegraph.
I’ve snipped a bit about what the Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto said. He is exactly right when he says it is “unfeasible, unrealisable and nonsense” because today it’s 120,000 they are distributing and next month it’s another 100,000 (who are at this minute packing their bags throughout the Middle East and North Africa). This plan does nothing to stop the flow.

The EU migrant quota plan to relocate thousands of migrants across the continent is “unfeasible, unrealisable and nonsense”, Hungary’s foreign minister said, as Europe’s east-west division was laid bare on Wednesday.

As EU leaders meet in Brussels on Wednesday to approve a plan to relocate 120,000 attacked by eastern European countries, Péter Szijjártó called the quota scheme a waste of time.

Romania, Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary voted against the plan to take in refugees and migrants from Italy and Greece but it was forced through on Tuesday.

Under the European Commission president Jean-Claude Juncker’s plan, Hungary would receive 1,294 of the 120,000 to be shared by the EU countries.

Close the borders and build camps to discourage new arrivals. It makes enormous sense to me—the camp dwellers can then go home when the civil war is over (and will be less likely to come if a refugee camp awaits them).

But instead, the Hungarian government supports a pan-EU Greek border protection initiative which would deploy helicopters and infrared cameras to catch migrants, with Frontex and Greece setting numbers on troops and border guards.

Budapest suggested that the EU should then fund refugee camps for Syrians and finance new camps if required.

Mr Szijjártó described the plan as a waste of time and said: “The plan is unfeasible, unrealisable and nonsense.”
He added:

“This is the beginning of a new world order; we are not talking about a refugee crisis, but about a wave of mass migration.”

He begins (and ends) his very thorough examination of refugee law and how it impacts Europe with a discussion about the prescient decades-old novel by Jean Raspail, The Camp of the Saints. If you have not read it, you must. But, be prepared to feel physically ill (mentally ill goes without saying).
Taylor explains more clearly than I can how we got to this point—to the point where we are asking this question—Is this the Death of Europe? The next question of course is, so what about America?
Taylor closes his tutorial with this:

As Jean Raspail wrote in 1985:

[T]he West is empty, even if it has not yet become really aware of it. An extraordinarily inventive civilization, surely the only one capable of meeting the challenges of the third millennium, the West has no soul left.

He put it even more pithily in The Camp of the Saints: “The white race was nothing more than a million sheep.”

British ship — HMS Richmond to be stationed off Libya

Although they say they will arrest and prosecute smugglers they catch, the article is not clear on what happens to the migrants on board.
Longtime readers know that former Australian Prime Minister Tony Abbott told Europe they must do that or suffer the enormous consequences they are now experiencing.
This plan by the UK may slow the flow (a little!) from the North African coast, but I sure don’t see how this will help the present crisis of boats launching from Turkey into the Aegean Sea.
One ship isn’t going to do it!
Where is the Navy to turn them back to Turkey?

From The Guardian:

A Royal Navy frigate is to be sent to take part in a blockade-style naval operation aimed at “boarding, seizing and diverting” refugee boats in the Mediterranean, the Ministry of Defence has said.

The British warship HMS Richmond is to take part in a “more aggressive” phase two of a European Union naval operation operating off the coast of Libya aimed at ending the people-smuggling trade across the Mediterranean.

British defence and foreign ministers gave their informal approval to the EU plan at meetings in Brussels last week, after being told by the Italian admiral in charge of the naval force that 16 boats used by the smugglers could have been seized or destroyed in recent weeks if the new phase had been in force.

HMS Richmond, which has surveillance technology enabling it to operate across a wide area, is likely to be sent to the waters off Libya, where it will be stationed at least 12 miles off the coast. Although it will be able to rescue refugees it comes across, the Ministry of Defence said its primary role would be to board and seize vessels in the southern Mediterranean.

Sounds like just another rescue mission to me.

Dead toddler's father wanted to go to Europe to get new teeth!

Invasion of Europe…..it isn’t going to end soon!

The world has been riveted by the sad photo of a dead toddler on a Turkish beach. In fact, that very photo, being used as propaganda, may ultimately be responsible for the destruction of Europe as we know it and ultimately for the resettlement of 65,000 or more! Syrian refugees (mostly Muslims) in your towns in the coming months.

Now, here comes none other than the Wall Street Journal telling us that the family was safe in Turkey and that the selfish father wanted to get a new set of teeth in Europe.
But, first here is ‘Bare Naked Islam’ with a more colorful telling (hat tip: Joanne):

The little Syrian boy drowned because his father wanted to get a full set of teeth implants for free in Europe.

The images of the toddler’s lifeless body on a Turkish beach have reverberated across the globe, stirring public outrage and embarrassing political leaders as far away as Canada, where authorities had rejected an asylum application from the boy’s relatives. (They were NOT fleeing Syria, they were safe in Turkey, so no reason for Canada to take them in)

So, this Syrian family, the Kurdis, was safe and secure in a Turkish town for 3 years after leaving Syria. They were well fed, sheltered and so on. Then the father of the family, Abdullah, was like “oh man, I need new teeth. These Turks are not going to give me squat. Let’s all get in a rickety boat and go to Greece, where we’ll find some good-hearted Christians to give me a new set of teeth implants…for FREE”

From his hospital bed on Wednesday, Mr. Kurdi told a Syrian radio station that he had worked on construction sites for 50 Turkish lira (roughly $17) a day, but it wasn’t enough to live on. He said they depended on his sister, Tima Kurdi, who lived in Canada, for help paying the rent.

Ms. Kurdi, speaking Thursday in a Vancouver suburb, said that their father, still in Syria [presumably still safe!—ed], had suggested Abdullah go to Europe to get his damaged teeth fixed and find a way to help his family leave Turkey. She said she began wiring her brother money three weeks ago, in €1,000 ($1,100) amounts, to help pay for the trip. [to pay people smugglers!—ed]

Shortly after, she said her brother called her and said he wanted to bring his whole family to Europe, as his wife wasn’t able to support their two boys alone in Istanbul.

“If we go, we go all of us,” Ms. Kurdi recounted him telling her. She said she spoke to his wife last week, who told her she was scared of the water and couldn’t swim.

“I said to her, ‘I cannot push you to go. If you don’t want to go, don’t go,’” she said. “But I guess they all decided they wanted to do it all together.”

Wealthy Gulf Arab States fear terrorism, so doors are closed to refugees

gulf-states-640x438-640x480 — While you are looking at this map at Breitbart, consider that Turkey is allowing ‘refugees’ to pass through and launch boats into the Aegean Sea so that thousands of the migrants can reach Greece. Why isn’t anyone criticizing Turkey? Or, turning the boats back to Turkey?

Breitbart has more news on a topic that obviously interests you. Our post from last week, Why should US/Europe take Syrian refugees while Gulf Arab states take ZERO?, was visited by over 6,000 readers in a couple of days. So what do the Gulf States know that we don’t, maybe that the “refugee” stream is composed of 75% men of fighting age! Here is Breitbart:

Five of the wealthiest Muslim countries have taken no Syrian refugees in at all, arguing that doing so would open them up to the risk of terrorism. Although the oil rich countries have handed over aid money, Britain has donated more than Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates and Qatar combined.
