Bowling Green, KY: Arrests made in Sunni vs. Shiite tussle

Hmmmm!

So where is Rand?

Did Grover get to Rand Paul? Or, was it big business donors (meatpackers maybe?) who caused Paul to go wobbly on the refugee issue?

Daniel Greenfield writing at Frontpage magazine directs us to a brief news story from Presidential candidate Rand Paul’s home town.
Here is Greenfield:

Welcome to Bowling Green, Kentucky, the latest front in the Sunni – Shiite unholy war tearing apart the Middle East.

He then directs us to this news story about how a Shia Muslim claims he was assaulted by a Sunni Muslim in a dispute about their religious beliefs.
Then Greenfield closes with this:

Now how many Sunnis and Shiites do you need for there to be enough critical mass for these conflicts to turn violent?

Why is this so interesting to me?

The article does not tell us the nationalities of the two who scuffled, but I will bet a buck they were both Iraqis because we know many Iraqis have been resettled in Kentucky including those two refugee terrorists arrested in Bowling Green in 2011, on trial here in 2012.
At that time there was a glimmer of hope for Senator Rand Paul on this issue as he was very vocal in asking:  Why are we bringing so many Iraqis to the US?  See this post!  I was originally thrilled!

Now he has completely shut up on the issue!
By the way, Kentucky is an important refugee resettlement state and neither Senator Mitch McConnell or Senator Paul say a word about it.

The US State Department is admitting almost equal numbers of Shiite and Sunni Iraqis to the US, so you can expect more conflicts ahead!  Is that insane or what!

Again, we don’t know if these two Bowling Green squabblers are Iraqis, but this (below) will give you some idea of our foolishness.  I couldn’t get the State Department data base to open just now, but found my notes from a search  I did at the beginning of March.
From 1/1/14 to 2/28/15 (a little over a year) we admitted 22,446 Iraqis to your towns and cities.  The State Department data breaks them out by religion as follows:

Moslem (that is how they spell it): 351

Moslem Shiite: 7,747

Moslem Suni: 9,176

So the Muslims totaled:  17,274
All the other religions, or no religion accounted for the remaining 5,172 (23%).

So, is this kerfuffle in Kentucky the tip of the iceberg?  We’ll see!

See our Kentucky archive here, and don’t miss this post about the suspicious donation (for Syrian refugees) to a contractor from a Muslim “charity.”  See also Kentucky mosques cropping-up due to growing Muslim refugee population.

Make this issue (immigration and national security) a top concern for 2016 Presidential candidates!

If you have an opportunity to meet candidates ask them what their position is on refugee resettlement (look for a deer-in-the-headlights look!).

See NumbersUSA scorecard, here.  Paul has an abysmal D+ on immigration and jobs.
About the photo:  One of the earliest important stories we ever wrote nearly 8 years ago was about Grover Norquist lobbying for large numbers of Iraqi refugees to be resettled in the US.   And, see Grover here with RINO pals (including Jeb Bush) just last year urging the GOP to support the idea of more refugees coming to America!  Grover has been spreading the lie that Ronald Reagan signed the Refugee Act of 1980 into law. He is wrong.  It was outgoing President Jimmy Carter who is responsible.

NumbersUSA Presidential hopefuls scorecard on immigration and jobs

NumbersUSA logoAlthough they don’t have a score for positions on the Refugee Admissions Program of the US State Department and how it too affects jobs, NumbersUSA has two areas in which they score potential 2016 Presidential candidates that give some idea of where the candidate might stand on refugee resettlement—they score on that horrible Diversity visa lottery and chain migration.
See their scores here (Worker-protection immigration scorecard!)  I think you will find it as fascinating as I did!
Remember readers that the nine major federal resettlement contractors all support AMNESTY, Obama’s deportation moratorium, and actively lobbied for the Senate-passed ‘Gang of Eight’ bill.

Muslim immigration to America must be 2016 Presidential campaign issue!

Update: FBI: Thousands of ISIS followers in US, here.  Hat tip: Diane

Breitbart News, which has been doing a lot of good work on the issue of immigration generally, has posted a review of how much Muslim LEGAL immigration of one sort or another is occurring in the US.  The news hook is that Dutch Parliamentarian Geert Wilders, one of the world’s top targets for assassination by the Islamists, was in Garland, Texas for the ‘draw Mohammad’ competition.  And, he has called for a halt to Muslim immigration to the Netherlands.

wilders-markedHere are just a few nuggets that I thought were the most interesting.   There is some blah-blah-blah by politicians saying the problem is lack of “assimilation” which just shows how deep their heads are in the sand.  The word “assimilation” has been banned from our vocabulary going back to the Bush years!

From Alex Swoyer at Breitbart:

The Muslim immigration warnings offered by Dutch politician Geert Wilders—who was in the facility in Garland, Texas, that was attacked by terrorists last weekend—seem to be coming true.

Immigrants from the Middle East are currently the fastest growing immigration demographic coming into the U.S., a recent report from the Center for Immigration Studies shows. America in just three years imported more immigrants from the Middle East than from Mexico and Central America combined.

[….]

In fact, the United Nations is currently planning to settle roughly one million refugees – mostly Muslims – in western countries, Fox News reports.

[….]

Census data reveals roughly 100,000 Muslim immigrants are admitted to the United States each year. Immigrants who enter the U.S. legally are entitled to welfare, U.S. jobs and to vote.  [Refugees get everything, but some other classes of legal immigration do not, and that is why everyone wants to be a refugee.—ed]

[….]

The Washington Post reported that immigration from Africa is a contributing factor to the increased Muslim immigrant population: “The number of African-born residents in the United States has doubled every decade since the 1970s, with the greater Washington region remaining among the most popular areas for them to live, the U.S. Census Bureau reported Wednesday.”

[….]

In addition to the immigration from the African Continent, the nation’s student visas program also contributes to the growing number of Islamic immigrants. “Nearly 81,000 subjects of the Saudi kingdom are studying in the U.S. this school year, up from about 5,000 in 2000-01,” the Wall Street Journal reported.

Muslim immigration a major issue for 2016? Let’s help it ‘burst on the scene!’

Few candidates or potential candidates have zeroed in on the issue yet, but with terrorism and national security concerns on the rise—heading into an election season where immigration is a top-tier issue according to every honest pollster—this is likely to burst onto the scene as a major 2016 front burner issue.

Every time you meet a Presidential candidate over the next year ask them how they feel about Muslim immigration and the Refugee Admissions Program.  I’ll bet they won’t have a clue about what you are talking about, so educate them!

It is my opinion that there is no greater issue for America’s survival going forward than how we handle immigration, and especially immigration from the Muslim world.

Obama planting migrant seedlings; accelerating seedlings to citizenship status; and refugee food stamp gobblers

While I was away…..

You probably saw the stories reported over the last few days that provide further proof that the issue of refugee resettlement and the immigrant invasion of America is becoming the focus of national discussion.

Changing America by changing the people! Obama with his architects for a new America Cecilia Munoz (left) and Valerie Jarrett (right)

Obama promised to change America and he is doing that by changing the people!

First, Leo Hohmann writing at World Net Daily, in an article entitled:  How to know when migrant gravy train arrives in your town and subtitled:  Feds to ‘strong arm’ cities into welcoming ‘new Americans’:

What are the signs that your community has been secretly selected for an infusion of refugees from Muslim nations like Syria or Somalia, or migrant workers from Central America?

The Obama White House released a report last week on the integration of immigrants and refugees that provides some clues.

It could be something as simple as a new billboard along the highway touting the contributions of diverse immigrant populations and refugees. Or maybe you’ll hear a radio spot or see a TV ad delivering the same type of message.

Your city council may pass a proclamation “celebrating” and “welcoming” the “cultural diversity” and economic benefits of refugees and other “new Americans.”

Your local public library will start hosting “story times” that glorify the role of immigrants and the value of diversity in your community.

You may also see a new HUD-backed subsidized housing project rising from the ground. But the biggest sign that new arrivals are on their way, will be the “messaging” sent out through local media and official government offices.

Please read it all!  Here!  You will recognize the signs where you live!

Obama signing up the migrants and refugees for citizenship by 2016!

J. Christian Adams writing at PJ Media tells us what to expect in a story yesterday entitled: Homeland Security Working Overtime to Add ‘New Americans’ by 2016 Election:

President Obama’s amnesty by edict has always been about adding new Democrats to the voter rolls, and recent action by the Department of Homeland Security provides further proof. Sources at the Department of Homeland Security report to PJ Media that the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services is reallocating significant resources away from a computer system — the “Electronic Immigration System” — to sending letters to all 9,000,000 green card holders urging them to naturalize prior to the 2016 election.

This effort is part of the DHS “Task Force on New Americans.”

Astronomical number of refugees on food stamps and SSI—you are feeding the replacement population!

Adding to the plethora of stories while I was away is this Breitbart report on food stamp use by refugees entitled: Memo: 353,000 Refugees on Food Stamps, 55,000 Receiving Supplemental Security Income.   I can’t tell you what a relief it is to know that others in the media are now digging into the facts about the impact refugees resettlement is having on our economy and our communities!

Breibart on this past Thursday:

More than 350,000 refugees in the United States are on food stamps, according the Congressional Research Service (CRS).

In a memo to the Senate Judiciary Committee released Thursday but dated April 14, CRS offers data on Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) — or food stamps — and Supplemental Security Income (SSI) use among refugees. It also provided refugee benefit usage statistics for medical assistance, cash assistance and public housing.

In Fiscal Year 2013, there were about 353,000 refugees on SNAP. As of December 2014, 55,000 refugees, asylees, and other similar populations receiving payments from SSI, the memo reveals.

Readers, please read all three of these excellent reports and it should be clear to you how Obama is changing America, just as he said he would. It is all out in the open now and the question is, how do we stop him from colonizing your towns?

Kentucky: Iraqi refugee convicted terrorist back in the news; wants conviction and sentence reviewed

Update:  There is a 2013 ABC News expose of the arrest and conviction of these two refugees with information on how they lied to get into the US.  A long time reader suggested that many of you may never have seen it.  Watch it here.

He says he was misrepresented and didn’t understand English well enough (you can be sure he had been supplied with a translator!).

For you, in new towns being urged to ‘welcome the stranger’ and take in Muslim refugees, there are several lessons in this one short news story.

First, don’t believe them when they say that refugees are thoroughly screened! This pair of convicted terrorists LIED on their refugee applications and there was ample evidence, one not mentioned in this news story, that they were in fact fighting (and possibly killing) Americans in Iraq.  One of them had fingerprints on an IED shard the US had already collected from an attack on Americans.

Second, US and state taxpayers are footing the bill for translators and expensive trials and other legal proceedings.

And, third these two were placed by a resettlement contractor in an American town and you paid for it.  But, the media, in this case AP, cannot bring itself to tell readers that these two were REFUGEES.

Mohanad Shareef Hammadi lied on his application for US refugee status. https://refugeeresettlementwatch.org/2012/02/17/kentucky-iraqi-terror-suspect-lied-on-refugee-application/

Every reader of this AP story who is unfamiliar with the US Refugee Admissions Program is probably scratching their head and asking, well how did these terrorists get in here?

From AP at the Bowling Green Daily News (hat tip: Robin):

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) — An Iraqi man convicted of terrorism charges in Kentucky is asking a federal judge to change his conviction and prison sentence because he says he was misrepresented by his court-appointed attorney.

Mohanad Shareef Hammadi pleaded guilty in 2012 to being involved in a plot to send weapons and money to al-Qaida in Iraq.

Hammadi says in a motion filed last month that he felt pressure to plead guilty to a dozen charges and was told by his attorney, James Earhart, he would not get a life sentence. He is asking a judge to throw out or correct the sentence.

The motion asks the court to “vacate, set aside or correct” the conviction and life sentence he received in January 2013.

[….]

Hammadi said in the motion that he was pressured to plead guilty the day before his jury trial. Earhart, a longtime lawyer and former federal prosecutor in Kentucky, told Hammadi “no American jury would find him innocent following the events of Sept. 11, 2001,” according to the March 16 motion.

The AP wants you to think that they just simply “arrived” in the US, not a word about the US State Department bringing them in!

Alwan and Hammadi arrived in the United States in 2009. Both admitted to taking part in insurgent activities in Iraq in 2005 and 2006. Prosecutors said federal authorities became aware of Alwan when they found out he had been held in an Iraqi prison in June 2006 for insurgent activities.

Searching RRW for ‘Kentucky Iraqi’ I see that we probably have a couple of dozen posts in which we mention these convicted refugee terrorists.   In fact, Kentucky Senator Rand Paul’s fleeting criticism of the refugee program was surely inspired by his anger at the time about this case.

If you see Rand Paul on the campaign trail, ask him why he stopped criticizing the Refugee Admissions Program!

Make this issue a 2016 Presidential campaign issue!  In fact, ask all of the candidates if they support it and I bet you get a ‘deer in the headlights’ look!
