Identitare: leading the way to save western civilization in the new Austria

We told you two days ago that in the first round of Austria’s presidential elections, for the first time since WWII, the two major parties are out of the running as the so-called far right wins big.
Now check this out at Breitbart (read the whole story) about the gutsy Austrian youths associated with Identitare (they oppose the Islamisation of Europe and mass migration) and their dramatic action getting worldwide media attention.
Watch the film here (the banner says ‘hypocrite’). These young Austrian men were protesting a “Refugees-Welcome” (propaganda!) play at the famous theater and Austrian leaders who say they will protect Austrians from the invaders, but don’t.

Kansas governor's withdrawal decision has the refugee contractors defiant; NJ withdraws too!

Sheesh, where have I been.  I apologize if some of you notified me that Chris Christie withdrew New Jersey from the program earlier this month too (So sorry! I can’t read everything coming in to me!).

NJ withdraws too!  Check it out here at NJ 101.5!

chris christie
Gov. Chris Christie made the first move, does he understand the opportunity that gives him for the next move—suing the federal government in a Tenth Amendment case?

Now here is the lengthy and informative article from Miss Elise at the Huffington Post (we have reported on her pro-open borders writing previously) about Governor Sam Brownback’s (former great enthusiast for the refugee program) change of heart.
See our previous two posts on Kansas here and here.  And, come on Texas, join the crowd!!!
Emphasis below is mine:

Fifteen years ago, then-Sen. Sam Brownback (R-Kan.) gave an impassioned speech in support of refugee resettlement. He called helping and taking in refugees “some of the most noble and ennobling things we can do,” and said the United States should admit “substantially” more than 80,000 people, the ceiling at the time.

“I want to ensure that any refugee dealing with our system sees the best of who we are and what we represent,” he said at an event ahead of World Refugee Day in 2001. “We are a better nation because of the refugees and asylees amongst us.”

If refugees currently dealing with the system are going to see the best of America, though, it will be in spite of Brownback. Now governor of Kansas, he announced Tuesday that his state would no longer work with the federal government to resettle refugees, the final step in a months-long effort to keep out Syrians that now is directed toward refugees in general.

[….]

His decision won’t have a major impact on refugee resettlement to Kansas — although the governor has implied that he’s effectively banning the program in the state, all his withdrawal means is that another agency will have to coordinate the services for it to function in Kansas.  [Remember “services”=your financial support of refugees.—ed]

[….]

But Brownback’s shift was troubling for refugee resettlement groups.

Here we learn something we didn’t know about those regulations that the Office of Refugee Resettlement crafted from thin air (with no legislative authority!).

If a state does not participate, it must give the government 120 days notice and another agency will be tasked with coordinating assistance. New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie withdrew his state from the program this month as well, citing concerns about Syrian refugees, and other states have elected in the past to participate only partially or not at all.

Christie gave the 120 day notice and presumably by August another agency (A NON-PROFIT GROUP) will be assigned the duty. We assume Governor Brownback also gave the official notice and thus both governors could sue the feds as per the Thomas More Law Center states’ rights case, and the State of Tennessee’s planned legal challenge.
Can the federal government and non-profit groups expend state and local tax dollars without any state or local say so, we think not!  Also, experts tell us there is no authority in the so-called Wilson-Fish amendment to the Refugee Act of 1980 to turn the program over to unelected private organizations.
Nevertheless, defiant advocates for more refugees for your towns and cities say that refugees will continue to get their services (code for welfare) and you will continue to pay!

That [resettlement] will continue, and they will continue to get services from the state. The four staffers in the Kansas Department for Children and Families currently working on refugee resettlement will be reassigned to other roles, but the overall work of the agency won’t change, department spokeswoman Theresa Freed said.

Lots more at the HuffPo here.  The media will try to make it sound like you think you can bar anyone from moving to a state.  This is America, you can’t bar the movement of people legally present.  This is about whether state and local taxpayers have any right to determine what they pay for and whether unelected private groups can carry out government functions of this nature.
Come to think of it, Governor Christie and Maryland Gov Larry Hogan are pals—maybe he can be persuaded to pull Maryland out as well!
A cautionary note:  We would all love to find a silver bullet to get this program either stopped completely or reformed, but it won’t be that simple. The 35-year-old refugee industry involves billions of dollars and entrenched non-profit groups, many with political agendas involving open borders and changing the demographic make-up of the country.  Therefore, do not hang your hat on lawsuits (as important as this one could be) and whether some Congressional white knight will come to the rescue, continue all you are doing at the grassroots level to bring attention to the program through whatever means possible (within the law of course!).

Go here and don’t forget to send in your testimony!  Tell your governors and other elected officials to go on the record too!

MN: CAIR filing another employment discrimination case involving Somalis and prayer breaks

This one involves a manufacturer of door and window hardware (not meatpacking for a change).  For the life of me, I don’t know why these manufacturers keep doing the same thing and expecting a different outcome—hire Muslims then end up in legal hot water over prayer break times.
And, if you don’t know what this is….this is creeping shariah!

Jaylani
CAIR-MN director Jaylani Hussein: 50% of our work now involves suing employers for discriminating against Muslims. See what ‘Minnesota nice’ gets you!

Owatonna is a little town of 25,000 or so in the southeast corner of the state within easy driving distance of the two big hubs of Somali refugee resettlement—-Minneapolis and Rochester.  However, Owatonna is a direct resettlement site too, see here.
I love the irony! Be sure to see Owatonna embraces its Somalis!
From the Minneapolis Star Tribune two days ago:

Nearly two dozen Muslim Somali-Americans are filing discrimination charges with the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity against hardware maker AmesburyTruth and Doherty Staffing Solutions.

The fired workers said they were denied a place to pray at an Owatonna, Minn., manufacturing plant and lost their jobs for trying to practice their religion.

The Minnesota chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations is leading the effort on behalf of 21 former workers who were terminated in May and June 2015.

Owatonna, MN Main Street. They are changing America by changing the people!

[….]

Followers of Islam pray five times each day — at daybreak, midday, afternoon, sunset and at night. Before prayer, Muslims are required to wash their faces, hands and feet with clean water, which normally is performed in a restroom sink.

AmesburyTruth is headquartered in Edina and makes hardware for doors and windows, weatherstrips and extrusions. The company has about 2,000 employees at 11 locations around the country.

The Owatonna plant employs about 800 workers and specializes in making windows, hinges, locks and other hardware used in casement windows.

[….]

CAIR-MN’s civil rights director Amarita Singh underscored that Muslim employees have the constitutional right to have employers accommodate their religious practices.

[….]

Jaylani Hussein, CAIR-MN’s executive director, said more than 50 percent of the organization’s casework now comes from these types of workers’ rights cases, though many are resolved without needing to involve the courts.

Gee, I wonder why?

Nationwide, anti-Muslim sentiment has risen dramatically in the past year, sparking protests and anti-refugee legislation in Idaho, Tennessee, Alabama, Texas and elsewhere, said Stephen Piggott of the Southern Poverty Law Center, a nonprofit focused on civil rights.

More here at the Star Tribune.
Search Somalis Minnesota here at RRW and it will keep you busy reading posts for hours! But, don’t miss this one (10,000 Somalis to MN in ten years!).
Addendum:  I’ve gotta try to remember to always add the latest Somali numbers—right now we are admitting them at the rate of 750 per month, see here.

In Europe, "refugees" flying "home" to Iraq

Invasion of Europe news….
This is my laugh of the day story!
We have previously told you that literally thousands of so-called ‘refugees’ who made the ‘dangerous’ journey to Europe from the Middle East are finding that the streets in their new home are not paved with gold, the goodies aren’t very good, and on second thought, maybe “home” wasn’t so bad after all.
First, see this story we wrote in February about regular charter flights from Europe to Iraq returning the disenchanted to their homes.

Iraqi family to Germany
The “famous” “heart-breaking” photo of a “Syrian” refugee dad arriving in Greece (he was clearly not starving). Not Syrians and no longer in Europe! Photo: Daniel Etter for the New York Times. https://www.buzzfeed.com/anupkaphle/the-story-behind-a-heartbreaking-photo-of-a-syrian-refugee-f?utm_term=.neNevyVqDE#.ckav479mR6

Now comes news that a famous refugee family that made headlines in Germany and around the world in 2015 is already back in Baghdad.  The story at The New Observer seems almost too incredible to be true, but unless we learn otherwise, we will assume it is all true! Hat tip: Joanne

Proof that there is no “refugee” crisis—but only a determined, liberal-driven, nonwhite invasion of Europe—has come with the news that the Iraqi “refugee” family made famous in a press photograph have returned to Iraq after only six months in Germany.

The family—Laith Majid; his wife, Nada Adel; their sons Moustafa, aged 18; Ahmed, 17; and Taha, nine; along with seven-year-old daughter Nour—landed on the island of Kos in August 2015, at the height of the Angela Merkel-inspired nonwhite invasion.

[….]

As a result of the press picture, the Majid family gave more than 100 press interviews in Berlin, to media from all over the world.

[….]

The Bild newspaper decided to interview the Majid family once again to find out how they were doing in Germany six months after escaping the “hell” and “death threats” of Baghdad.

Where did they find them?  You guessed it!

Obviously not satisfied with “refugee” life in Berlin, they had simply flown back on one of the weekly flights from Berlin to the Iraqi capital.

Read all the details here.  You couldn’t make this up!
If you google this family you can see the whole progression of how the media built them up to be the ‘poster family’ for the “humanitarian crisis” engulfing Europe.

Texas should withdraw from UN/US State Dept. Refugee Admissions Program

Just as Governor Sam Brownback did in Kansas this week, Texas should “opt-out” of the UN/US State Department Refugee Admissions Program and then when the feds put a ‘non-profit’ group in charge of making decisions that expend taxpayer dollars in the state—sue the feds on Tenth Amendment grounds.  It is that simple (well sort of!).

Abbott tx
If Texas has no say over refugee seeding now, then the state should simply withdraw from the program and then sue the feds.

Any governor in America who talks big about wanting to get the RAP under control in their state, isn’t doing anything (other than trying to appease voters) until he or she takes dramatic action—like withdrawing from the program altogether.
(For readers who don’t want to kill the program outright, dramatic action is the only thing that will bring enough controversy to even begin to see the smallest effort toward reform.)
This Breitbart headline (Texas Has No Authority Over Agencies That Resettle Refugees in State) and story caught my eye.
Texas is the top resettlement state in the nation and has a governor who has been attempting to protect the state, so why not go for the whole enchilada. (Congress should be protecting you, but it isn’t!)
Read the story here.
texas-ranking
Since 2011, Texas has ‘welcomed’ approximately 7,000 refugees a year so that it continues its distinction as the #1 refugee state in the nation. Looks to me like Gov. Rick Perry closed a blind eye to the expansion.

For new readers, know that these states (below) already withdrew (or never had a program) at one point in the past and are now so-called Wilson-Fish states whose refugee programs are run illegally and unconstitutionally by ‘non-profit’ groups hired by Washington.

By the way, experts tell me that the Wilson-Fish amendment to the Refugee Act of 1980 made no provision in the law for the federal agencies to pass the program off to unelected non-profit contractors of the federal government—one of many many cases where a federal agency (the Office of Refugee Resettlement in this case) simply made its own ‘law’ through regulations.
If you are in one of these states you must urge your governor/legislature to sue with a states’ rights claim.
I know you won’t get states like Vermont to demand their state’s rights, but heck then if they are that ‘welcoming,’ let the feds just send them all there.
(I saw news last night and tweeted it that the Rutland, VT mayor is welcoming 100 Syrians soon. Follow me on twitter for more news.)

Wilson-Fish states (Kansas is effectively on the list now too):

Alabama
Alaska
Colorado
Idaho
Kentucky
Louisiana
Massachusetts
Nevada
North Dakota
South Dakota
Tennessee
Vermont
