Regarding South Africa: Trump has thousands of African refugee slots available

Ann Coulter, Mark Steyn and Tucker Carlson have all gone to bat this week for the white South African farmers whose lives and livelihoods have been threatened by the black South African government now in power in the nation the International Left dubbed the “Rainbow Nation.”
Here is Ann Coulter on twitter yesterday tweeting out a link to a story about the exploding tragedy for whites in S.A. by Leo Hohmann at VDARE.  Hohmann reports that the President does have the power to arrange for an emergency declaration for the clearly persecuted farmers.

Screenshot (280)_LI

However, he doesn’t even need any emergency declaration because in his Presidential Determination for Fiscal Year 2018, here, you can see in the graph below that he has 19,000 slots allocated for the resettlement of African refugees to the US.

Screenshot (281)_LI
45,000 is the cap set by the President last September, at the present rate of admissions, the US might reach about 21,000 total from the whole world for the year.

And, below, from Wrapsnet you can see that 5 months in to the fiscal year, only 3,188 have been allotted from Africa.

In that same report, we learn that the State Department wants to pluck mostly Somalis out of the xenophobic South Africa (S.A. blacks have been terrorizing blacks from elsewhere in Africa who believed the Rainbow Nation propaganda and went there for a better life only to be attacked by the S.A. blacks.)
US State Department in September of 2017:

From Southern Africa, we expect to admit 1,500 refugees – primarily Somalis from South Africa and Congolese from Malawi, Namibia, Zambia, and Zimbabwe.

(Checking Wrapsnet I see that we have processed in to the US 60 ‘refugees’ from South Africa in the last 5 months—surely no white refugees or we would have heard about it.)
See where the UN’s interest in S.A. lies….
Their only concern seems to be xenophobia (African blacks persecuting other blacks):

Xenophobia in the Rainbow Nation! Say it isn’t so!

Church World Service to the rescue?

As I told you in my first post this morning, federal refugee contractor Church World Service (71% funded involuntarily by you) has an office in Johannesburg in conjunction with the US State Department and the UNHCR.
Seems like a no-brainer that the office could be directed (by the new Secretary of State Pompeo) to start processing the white South Africans (there is plenty of evidence that they are being persecuted due to their race).
For those in the refugee industry who say that refugees must have left the country of their persecution before consideration, that whole concept is out the window now since we have processed Iraqis directly from Iraq.  We were processing Cubans from an office in Cuba and right now we are bringing in Ukrainians (1,027 so far this fiscal year) directly from Ukraine.

Bottomline, if the President wanted to do it, he could just tell the State Department to shift its priorities for resettlement and use some of the remaining 15,812 slots from Africa for white South Africans.

We will be watching to see if the federal refugee contractors, the big nine below, will push for the Christian whites to be resettled in America, after all they will be paid by the head for their work, so why not?
The nine federal contractors….
The number in parenthesis is the percentage of their income paid by you (the taxpayer) to place the refugees, line them up with jobs, and get them signed up for their services!  From most recent accounting, here.

Will mosques provide sanctuary to illegal aliens? Nah, we changed our minds

This interview at New Hampshire Public Radio popped up in my alerts this morning and it gave me a chuckle so I’m sharing it with you.
The gist of it is that last year Muslims said they would open mosques as sanctuaries (housing!) as part of the sanctuary movement that seeks to hide illegal aliens from the Trump meanies in ICE, but have since changed their minds.

Imam Suleiman

A Dallas area Imam who thought the idea was just peachy here in January 2017 now skillfully steers a reporter away from what I think is the truth (they don’t want a bunch of dirty kafirs, especially women, living in their mosques) to blame it on Trump-generated haters (people like you and me!) who they say might attack their mosques if they did it.
January 2017…..
Imam Omar Suleiman a year ago (Mosques tackling bigotry!):

Mosques for the first time are being being called upon to join a nationwide interfaith “sanctuary” movement for immigrants who may face deportation after President-elect Donald Trump takes office, a prominent Dallas-area imam said Tuesday.

“We really have to stand strong in the face of the bigoted forces that are targeting our communities,” Imam Omar Suleiman, a bilingual professor of Islamic Studies at Southern Methodist University, said in a joint announcement with other religious leaders around the nation.

Suleiman said mosques across the nation will be asked this week to join a movement that religious leaders say has doubled to more than 800 mostly Christian congregations since Trump’s election. Among local Christian congregations already vowing to participate are Christ’s Foundry United Methodist Church in Dallas, where about 8 out of 10 adult congregants are foreign-born.

It was unclear exactly how the coalition of congregations plans to shelter or otherwise assist unauthorized immigrants who face the immediate threat of deportation. But the growing number of mosques, churches and temples is working out details on who will give refuge and under what circumstances, the imam said.

Continue with more BS here.
March 2018….
Now here is New Hampshire Public Radio with the Imam this week.  The reporter sounds a little surprised that mosques won’t be housing any mostly Christian illegal aliens after all:
We (says Suleiman) are showing solidarity in other ways…..

NHPR:

Under President Trump, Latino immigrants in the U.S. illegally are under enormous pressure. ICE has dramatically intensified its efforts to detain and deport undocumented persons.

That was a cornerstone of Trump’s campaign platform, and after his election, officials at a mosque in Cincinnati announced they intended to become a sanctuary congregation, ready to shelter asylum seekers or migrants in need — whether Muslim or not.

But just three weeks after the election they backed off that offer of providing shelter within the mosque.  [LOL! I bet some Islamic ‘scholars’ got to them and said—you can’t do that!—ed]

Listen to Suleiman deflect:

“So I think that announcing yourself as a sanctuary has its implications, whether you’re a mosque, a church, a synagogue, or anything,” Imam Omar Suleiman told NPR’s Renee Montagne.

Last year, Suleiman was one of the people calling for mosques to join the sanctuary movement in response to increased deportation. The adversity that the Muslim and Latino communities face is similar, he said.

“I think the tools that have been employed against immigrants are the same tools that have been employed against refugees, which are the same tools that have been employed against the Muslim community as a whole, which is the dehumanization — the ‘otherizing***’ — that allows people to subconsciously accept this idea that we somehow do not deserve the same level of dignity and respect and liberty that everybody else does,” Suleiman says. [Sounds like the right talking points, but he doesn’t answer the question!—ed]

Blame it on Trump and the haters. We can’t do it because the haters would hurt our mosques and the Latinos too!

But there is already a deep anti-Muslim sentiment, he adds, pointing at mosque burnings that have taken place since President Trump was elected. He says Muslims are already under a lot of scrutiny and an additional layer to that could exacerbate something that is already an issue and endanger both the Muslim and the Latino communities.

This is too funny!

“The idea here is that the goal of sanctuary is to provide safety, and if we cannot provide emotional, physical safety, then it would sort of be defeating the purpose,” Suleiman says.

There are other ways to express solidarity (that don’t involve dirty kafirs living in our mosques).  Of course he didn’t say that!
But this excuse will sound good to our inter-faith friends (and to NHPR)! Suleiman:

“You know, there are other ways to express solidarity and support but announcing your particular mosque as a sanctuary could potentially endanger that particular Muslim community and then obviously the immigrants themselves that would seek shelter would be under that intensified scrutiny.”

Go here and listen to the whole interview—a little laugh in the morning is a good thing!
This post is filed in my ‘Laugh of the day’ category, here.
*** I am going to assume that since South African blacks are “otherizing” white farmers (see post two days ago), that the good Imam would support moving those white South African Christians to America.

Tensions grow in Ft. Wayne, IN over placement of Rohingya Muslims in Burmese neighborhoods

Update October 8th: 22 Rohingya (posing as refugees) in Bangladesh charged in massacre of Hindus, here.

This is not new news to me!

I’ve been hearing about this problem for years—the US State Department, with unwavering faith, seems to think it can place Muslims in Christian communities and the melting pot will perform its magic and presto! there will be love and acceptance all around.

esar-met-evil-face
Burmese Muslim Esar Met was placed in a housing complex in Salt Lake City (by the US State Dept. contractor there) housing mostly Burmese Christians. He was found guilty in 2014 of brutally raping and murdering a Burmese Christian child. A reporter for the Salt Lake Tribune found that the Muslims were separated from the other Burmese minorities and were housed in separate parts of the camps in Thailand.  But housed together in America! https://refugeeresettlementwatch.org/2014/05/15/utah-burmese-muslim-refugee-sentenced-in-brutal-rapemurder-of-little-girl/

Burmese Christians and other Burmese religious minorities (including the Chin) have been terrorized back home by Rohingya Muslims for decades and they fear it will begin again in Ft. Wayne, Indiana!

(Ft. Wayne first came to my attention ten years ago because of the very high TB rates there in the Burmese community. Also, many years ago I received a call about how fearful the Burmese Christians there were when resettlement contractors began placing the Rohingya in their neighborhoods.)

Please pay attention readers!

We have been admitting thousands of Rohingya to the US for the last ten years (just short of 20,000 so far)!  Trump will be admitting more!

From this article we learn that the Rohingya enclaves growing in the US are in Chicago, Milwaukee and Ft. Wayne.  But, don’t forget the brutal murder in Salt Lake City! And, I have some recent stories about Rohingya in Phoenix and that sexual pervert in New Hampshire in my HUGE Rohingya Reports archive, click here.

Do you know what is the most remarkable thing about this story?

It is the fact that a publication like VOA is even putting this in print! The times they are a changin’…..

From Voice of America (hat tip: Joanne):

The crisis [latest conflict began in 2012 when a gang of Rohingya men raped and murdered a Buddhist girl—ed] has increased the number of Rohingya refugees arriving in the United States, and since 2015 they outpace the number of Syrians resettling here.

But instead of landing in Chicago or Milwaukee, two cities home to a large number of Rohingya, Tahir and her family instead arrived in Fort Wayne, Indiana, and became one of the first Rohingya families in the area. [Don’t you just love it—arrived! Arrived like they picked Ft. Wayne on a map. They were placed there by the US State Department and its contractors!—-ed]

A Burmese community

Burmese community members believe there are now more than 150 Rohingya families living in Fort Wayne, and although their numbers are growing, their community remains a small fraction of the more than 6,000 Burmese of various ethnic groups now living in the city.

Can you believe it!  VOA continues:

Most of the foreign-born Burmese population in Fort Wayne speak a different language and practice different religions than the Rohingya, and the ethnic tensions and religious persecution that fueled their flight from Myanmar don’t necessarily end once they arrive here.

“Why I don’t like Rohingya to come to Fort Wayne is … most of them, almost 100 percent, are Muslims,” said Burmese Chin community leader Abraham Thang, who moved to Fort Wayne in the 1990s.

“They’re blood is Muslims, not Buddhist, not Christians. They did very terrible job, like attacking the military and police post, and killing and murdering the Hindus. That is not good for Rohingyas. That is the big mistake by Rohingyas.”

Thang, a pastor at the Myanmar Indigenous Christian Church, was one of the few Burmese willing to talk to VOA about Rohingya resettlement in Fort Wayne, and while he emphasizes these views are his own opinions, they are indicative of the same resentments Rohingya face in Myanmar.

“I don’t mind they practice what they believe,” Thang explained to VOA. “What I mind is extremism. Most of the terrorists come from the Muslim community. This is what I am thinking in my mind personally. So my opinion is, rather than sending Rohingya to Fort Wayne, and not sending them here is better don’t send Rohingya to Fort Wayne.”

Mayor-Henry-file-2
With mayors like these!  “We try to pride ourselves in being a welcoming community…”

Mayor: All welcome here

“That’s unfortunate,” said Fort Wayne’s mayor, Tom Henry. “I want anybody from Myanmar to know they are welcome in our community.”

Henry, a Democrat, has made Burmese integration into life in this city of more than 250,000 a priority of his administration.

“We try to pride ourselves in being a welcoming community, an inclusive community, a community that allows people to assimilate throughout our community and if they want to ultimately become an American citizen, we’ve got the tools in place to help that happen. So when I hear that there is that kind of tension and anxiety behind the scenes, that disturbs me.”

But some community members, like Thang, worry that an increasing number of new arrivals will only fuel tensions.

“I foresee the Burmese people and the Rohingya people in the future, sooner or later, we will have conflict and that is not good for the Fort Wayne community.”

Much more here.

My Ft. Wayne posts are here.

Again, my Rohingya Reports category is here (209 previous posts) with enough material to write a book!

See also my post yesterday about political action that should be aimed at mayors and local elected officials.

Go here to see which contractors are working near you.  Surprise! Not! Looks like Catholic Charities is the resettlement contractor in Ft. Wayne.  I believe they were responsible in Salt Lake too. Memory lane: In 2013 I was there to hear a Catholic Bishops’ lobbyist tell the State Dept.—we want more Rohingya!

Human Rights Watch spinning the news to make America look bad on refugee admissions

The Open Borders Left is working overtime this week to make sure the public knows that America is mean and being led by the meanest president in history.

Here is Human Rights Watch spewing forth on something you need to counter every time you hear it.

eleanor-acer

But, before I get to that:  In the first part of this excerpt (below), I learned something that makes sense.  Apparently the administration is arguing that we need to clean out the asylum backlog before bringing in more permanent refugees.

It is the second half of  the long paragraph that includes a major talking point of the leftwing open borders advocates and refugee contractor groups.

They say that Lebanon, Turkey and Jordan are ‘welcoming’ more refugees than we do.

But, you need to know this:

We give permanent residence and ultimately citizenship (VOTING rights) to those admitted to the US as refugees (or approved asylum seekers), while….

Those migrants housed (“hosted”!) in Lebanon, Turkey and Jordan have no legal citizenship rights; many can’t even work.  They only live there temporarily.

So the next time someone throws out this half truth, please correct him or her (LOL! It could be your US Senator or Congressman trying to spin you!).

The administration has sought to justify the decrease in refugee resettlement by arguing that the United States has a backlog of asylum cases. While Human Rights First has documented the negative impact the backlog has on asylum seekers, the organization notes that even if one combined the number of asylum seekers held up in the backlog and the number of refugees proposed today by the administration, the United States’ overall refugee acceptance per capita would pale in comparison to the numbers of those being hosted in front line states. Turkey hosts 35 refugees per 1,000 individuals, Jordan hosts 89 refugees per 1,000, and Lebanon hosts 173 per 1,000. If the United States were to admit only 50,000 refugees, the rate in the United States would only be less than 1 per 1,000, even when including the asylum office backlog, a dismally small number given the worldwide need.

Here is the truth:

The United States takes more permanent refugees/future citizens than any country in the world!

(2015 numbers because this particular news, where America is shown in a favorable light, is hard to find)

Trump is bad for Muslims….

Bill Frelick
Nothing new! The US has had a religious test for refugees—Jews and some other groups— since 1990, and Frelick knows it!

Also, Human Rights Watch is reporting this week, that the Trump Administration is bad for Muslim refugee admissions.

They are particularly angry with Trump because they claim he is promoting the idea of a religious test (that might favor persecuted Christians!) for admission to the US (gasp!).

Yet they themselves were more than happy to do that very thing—have a religious test—when it came to admitting thousands of Russian Jews and Russian Muslims to the US for over 2 decades!

Here we have Bill Frelick trying to gloss over that fact by suggesting religion was not how they justified their persecution claim. Give me a break!

Here is Frelick:

Historically, the U.S. admissions program has responded to refugees persecuted because of their religious beliefs — recall Soviet Jews, Iranian Baha’is, and Christian “lost boys” of Sudan — but a refugee’s specific faith was less relevant to a person’s rescue than the seriousness of the threat they were under. [What a crock!—ed]

He can’t intellectually (or legally) justify his criticism of a religious test when he and others have been supporting the Lautenberg Amendment since 1990.

Australia welcoming Syrian Christian refugees….

….but they don’t want the mostly Muslim ‘refugees’ on Manus and Nauru—the ones the United States is planning to take off their hands***.

Australia welcomes large number of Syrian Christians while sending its mostly Muslim rejected asylum seekers to US. NUTS!

As we wait for news about who the terror plotters are in Australia—the ones arrested for planning to take down an Australian airliner—I thought this short news item was telling.  How can the US be so stupid, so snookered by the Australian government!

From Speak Life:

While many countries have opened their doors to Muslim migrants from the Middle East, the journey has not been as easy for Christians in search of new homes after fleeing from intense persecution from their countries. However, an aid agency that extends help specifically to Christians is working to change the picture. The Barnabas Fund has set up a program that helps believers from the Middle East to resettle in Australia.

[….]

As of May 2016, Operation Safe Havens has rescued a total of 1,071 Christian refugees worldwide, and 823 of these are now living in Australia. However, these figures are small compared to the number of Muslims refugees that have been taken in.

In the UK, according to Barnabas Fund, from July to September 2016, only 13 of the 1,583 refugees from Syria were Christians. This means only 0.8 percent of Syrian refugees who entered the UK for that period were Christians, when the Christian population of Syria represents 10% of the total.

Malnourished Syrian Muslims arrive in KY in 2015. https://refugeeresettlementwatch.org/2015/02/15/first-syrian-refugees-arriving-in-louisville-ky-helped-with-grant-from-islamic-charity/

How are we doing on the Syrian Muslim/Christian ratio?

I hadn’t checked the numbers recently, but see now at Wrapsnet that in FY17 the US admitted 6,461 Syrian refugees up to today.  96% of those we admitted (from October 1, 2016 to today) are Muslims.

Then I checked just those who were admitted since Trump’s inauguration day (January 20th to today), and yikes! the percentage of Syrian Muslims vs. Christians is even higher under Trump at 98%!

Since January 20th, we admitted 1,873 Syrians and 1,840 are Muslims.
