Kuwait’s Gruesome Gift to Britain: Hajji Wannabe, with Four Wives, Murdered One While Koran Played

It isn’t just in London where the Brits have a problem with Islamic cultural ways.

Thahi Harroba Manaa, 37, a refugee from Kuwait, is on trial in Sheffield, England, for the gruesome murder of his second wife, Sara Al Shourefi, 28, the mother of four of his children. During the 105-minute attack – that started over a disagreement about about a wooden shelf – Manaa inflicted 270 bodily injuries on Sara with a variety of weapons including two metal bars, a knife, and an electric drill which he used to puncture her brain through her eye socket.

The murderer may have also tried to cut off her head: Sara’s neck had been cut across with the knife. Perhaps the knife was too small or its blade too dull to finish the beheading.

Two of their children were in a separate area of the house – and must have heard their mother being tortured to death. Also present was the murderer’s mother. She did nothing to stop the attack, nor did she telephone for help during Sara’s terrible ordeal.

The Koran Played Loudly While Sara Was Being Murdered; Killer Interrupted His Torture to Plan a Hajj to Mecca

During the nearly two-hour long torture of Sara, neighbors reported they heard angry shouting and the Koran playing at full blast. Evidently, Manaa fully expected his wife would die at his hands: an estimated 17 minutes into the attack, he called his travel agent to follow up on prior arrangements to travel to Mecca for the Hajj. He told the agent he wanted his papers made ready that same day. Then he resumed the deadly torture that lasted well over an additional hour.

Once poor Sara suffered through her last and final breath, Manaa called the travel agent again to verify that his travel document was finished and waiting for him. He also telephoned his sister to arrange for childcare.

Manaa then summoned his nephew by telephone and asked his help to put Sara’s body in a cupboard under the stairs. The nephew, in horror, fled the house and rang a friend who notified police.

Does Four Wives a Refugee Make?

What brought the murderer to Britain? Manaa, while he was still living in Kuwait, may have seen in Britain an answer to financial problems stemming from supporting several wives and a growing family. His first wife was one of Sara’s cousins. She failed to become pregnant, so he married Sara in 2004. When Sara did not become pregnant immediately, he married a third wife named Kholoud. Sara and Kholoud both became pregnant. Later, he married his fourth wife, Nadia. The stress of polygamous family life may have prompted him to take drastic action.

In this quiet neighborhood, residents heard high-pitched screams despite attempts to muffle them. http://i.dailymail.co.uk/i/pix/2015/01/14/24B1F9BE00000578-2910285-image-a-2_1421260063880.jpg

By 2010, around the time Sara gave birth to her third child, Manaa moved to Britain and obtained permission to stay. Sara arrived in the U.K. the following year, and gave birth to her fourth child. [It is not clear what happened to wives Nadia and Kholoud, or the first wife, or the other offspring.] Presumably, the immigrant family became entitled to British taxpayer-paid benefits, thus relieving financial stress on the man with multiple wives.

Britons must be wondering why their government allows people who practice harmful foreign customs, such as polygamy, to enter their country. The answer lies in the magic word “refugee”.

Manaa came to Britain from Kuwait where he had been living as a “Bidun” – a stateless person.*** Not to be confused with nomadic Bedouin, the “Bidun” (also “Bidoon” or “Bidoun”) reside in Middle Eastern countries without the benefit of citizenship. “Bidun” means “without”; it is shorthand for “without citizenship”. Often Bidun families have lived in countries for generations, but because their illiterate ancestors failed to register when citizenship rolls were taken decades ago, these descendants are denied citizen status. Perhaps eventually DNA testing could establish lineage and rights to citizenship. Meanwhile, some of the “Bidun” take advantage of their unusual situation to apply for refugee status in Western countries where – like this Kuwaiti – they can cause trouble and mayhem.

Isolated, Knowing No English, Without Family, Sara’s Situation Was Dire

Manaa has pleaded guilty to manslaughter but denies murder. The spin of his defense is that he suffers from diminished mental capacity that drives his extreme jealousy, paranoia, and abusive behavior. While she was alive, Manaa did not allow Sara to have a telephone, leave the house on her own, or to learn English. Completely isolated in Britain, she was only permitted to contact her sister in the U.K. or her family living abroad, through her mother-in-law – the same woman who refused to summon help while she was being brutally murdered.

Now Sheffield is gripped by the murder case. Will the mother of the murderer face charges? Can one blame certain religious practices? Why did no one do anything about the ongoing abuse in that house? Was the crime the result of the wrong kind of immigration? The trial continues.

*** Editor’s note: The UN High Commissioner for Refugees has, in the last year, really been pushing this notion of “statelessness” and demanding that countries resettle those with that label.  It will be one of the reasons for moving many Rohingya Muslims from Burma/Bangladesh around the world.

Finland, Incubator of Terrorism? What is the real mission of three strangers caught in Karelia?

Editor’s note:  Once again we are happy to have a guest post from reader ‘Pungentpeppers’ (It might spoil me and make me wish I had a whole flock of researchers, writers and interns at my disposal!).  Honestly, the subject is becoming so large that we couldn’t get it all covered with a dozen writers and researchers.

Finland, Incubator of Terrorism? Are these three strangers involved?

Karelia is a long fought-over region between Russia and Finland.

Finland is known for natural wonders. In the northern wintry darkness, amid the reindeer of Lapland’s tundra, visitors can experience the magic of the Aurora Borealis. In the east, along a border shared with Russia, the frozen beauty of Narnia awes winter travelers to Finland’s rustic region of Karelia, frozen solid this time of year.

Finland is also known as a leader in technology innovation and incubation. Perhaps you have a Nokia phone or tablet. Maybe your kids are addicted to Angry Birds. Yes, they were hatched in Finland!

But did you know that Finland ranks first, by percent of population, among nations in sending jihadi fighters to Syria?

It also has a sizable number of Somali Al Shabab supporters. Clearly, Finland is a hatchery for some angry non-bird types.

Late last summer, just as Finland was learning about its ranking on the Syrian jihadi fighter scale, two Finnish MPs from different parties joined together in calling for a change in policy that would give preference to Christian refugees. Finns Party MP Ari Jalonen and Christian Democrat MP Sauli Ahvenjärvi say that Christian refugees would reduce the probability of Finnish residents being recruited to fight in conflicts overseas.

”We have to look at the big picture. As a Christian, it’s easier to come to Finland. It’s easier for those who belong to some other faith [Muslim] to go to some other country where it would be easier for them to settle and live,” Jalonen added.

Both men said that in the case of Syria, they would advocate accepting mainly Christian refugees.

”Christians are one of the most persecuted minorities in Syria. There are good grounds for taking them in,” Ahvenjärvi explained.

[Readers may remember that Canada drew the ire of international ‘humanitarians’ and the UN for proposing that they might only take religious minority refugees from the Middle East—-ed]

Mystery men arrive in Finland

Karelia is especially pretty in winter! Maybe that is what the mystery men were doing crossing into Finland—admiring the scenery. Photo: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/travel/article-2488288/Finland-winter-holidays-A-perfect-Finnish-Karelia.html

Regarding Syria, three mysterious men who claim they are from that country arrived in Finland this week under very strange circumstances. Finnish border guard officials confirmed that the three men illegally crossed Finland’s eastern border in Kangasjärvi, Kitee – in frozen Karelia – late Monday night. They were caught after they stopped at a guest house seeking help for one of them who had frostbite. The men said they started hiking on Sunday and that the temperature was -25° Celsius (-13°F) when they reached Finland.

The men said that they intended to claim asylum once they reached Finland, claiming that they were fleeing the conflict in their native Syria.

North Karelia border guard officials will conduct an initial investigation into the case while eastern Finland police are to look into the asylum request.

The trio are currently being detained at the eastern Finland police facility, after which they will be transferred to a refugee reception centre.

See the story here.

How did these mysterious men arrive in eastern Karelia? Who dropped them off? Russians or some other foreign government? Where are they really from and what is their real mission? Do they intend to target activists who are hiding in Finland – or Finnish technology? Police need to look at this potentially dangerous trio very carefully.

If you are puzzled by how Finland became an incubator of terrorism, it was through immigration.

Historically, Finland had very few Muslims. In the 1990s, however, Muslim refugees from areas of conflict started arriving in large numbers. “By 2006, Finland had a Muslim population of approximately 40-45,000, and in 2011 it was estimated to be 50-60,000, 90% of whom were Somalis, Arabs, Kurds, Albanians, Turks, Persians, and Bosniaks.” (to read more, see Juha Saarinen’s piece in Jihadology)

Asylum seekers from predominantly Islamic countries are continuing to arrive in Finland.  According to the Helsinki Times, in 2013, Iraqis were the largest nationality, with Somalis coming second. However, there may be a shift towards more Syrians: 135 Syrian refugees sought asylum in Finland between January and November of this year. But how many arrived mysteriously after crossing over frozen lakes and rivers on foot?!

Syrians in Cyprus: How These People Operate!

Editor’s note: Thanks to reader ‘Pungentpeppers’ for pulling together some important information for us in this guest post.

Their demands and signs like these will surely endear them to the people of Cyprus and Europe (not!). Photo and story: http://cyprus-mail.com/2014/12/30/refugees-say-theyre-at-breaking-point/#prettyPhoto

Syrian and Palestinian refugees in Cyprus say that they are “at a breaking point”.  You might remember hearing about them.  In September, 337 of them were headed – illegally – to Italy when their boat broke down.  The passengers described their ordeal, “We spent days at sea with no food and no water. There were so many people on the boat. We called it the journey of death.”

You would think that they would be grateful for being rescued.  They weren’t.  A passing cruise liner rescued them and took them to the nearest port, in Cyprus.  That’s when the group from Syria threw their first hissy fit.  They refused to get off the ship and demanded that the crew take them to Italy.  It did not matter that there were hundreds of paying passengers on the ship who had to get to their destinations.  They would not relent – until an elite group of Cypriot riot police arrived in force.

Since then the group have been enlightening the public about their financial dealings.  Some paid as much as $8,000 (6,400 euros) each for their first illegal boat rides.  Others, including children, paid $6,000 (4,900 euros).  You would think that perhaps they might have figured out that paying a lot of money to a lawbreaking smuggler is not a good idea.  But about two weeks ago, several from the group gave one of their own around $5,000 (4,000 euros) each after he promised he could get them off Cyprus and into mainland Europe. They had collected the sums from their apparently well-off relatives in Syria and Europe.  The would-be smuggler, however, disappeared along with the money. [I wonder which European country he went to?]

The group – who are staying in tents at a former military camp – are not happy campers.  One member of the group hung himself recently.  Only about 20 agreed to remain in Cyprus.  The rest are still holding out for Europe.

The other day, the group organized a demonstration with signs written in English.  One sign, “We want to live in safe country”.  Another sign goes further “We want the freedom of choose the country in which we want to live”.  (Ah, they must be Soros’ “globalists”!)  One protester complained that they cannot afford the fees to apply for residency in Cyprus.  That’s 70 euros or $85 – small change compared to $8,000 and perhaps an additional $5,000 apiece that these people paid before.  Why don’t they call their relatives again?

Members of the group complained that they expected to stay in hotels in Cyprus – not tents.  One woman, when she saw the tents, fell on the ground crying and shouting saying “we ran from death and now we were will endure a slow death, here at the camp”.  If they don’t like the tents, since they have thousands of dollars and apparently rich relatives, why don’t they pay for hotel rooms?  It’s the slow season in Cyprus and prices are low.

Yet, they still hold out for Dreamland Europe.  I hate to break it to them – but there is no housing there either.  Germany with its freezing climate is putting refugees in shipping containers.  The Swiss house asylum seekers underground, many to a room, in military bunkers.  In Sweden – unless you are willing to go to the far north – you will likely wind up sharing a kitchen and sleeping in a tiny apartment along with several other families.  In France, in places like Calais, you can find refugees living exposed to the elements, cooking and sleeping in tent camps.  [Take a look at this advertisement for one such accommodation.  It’s in French but has photos.  The amenities include neither water, nor electricity, but it offers a good view of the Calais “jungle”. Your bed is a scrap of carpet, your dining table is a shipping pallet.]

Somali woman lived on a bench!

And in Britain, times have changed.  Perhaps formerly a refugee could hope to get a council house.  Nowadays, due to massive immigration, housing has become a sorry situation.  Many people rent beds in garden sheds – or sleep in caravans.  Many others are homeless.  This year, one older Somali woman was reduced to living on a bench for nine months, while she was holding out for a council house.  [She used an umbrella for when it rained.]  Finally, one day when she was hospitalized, the local government removed even that small misused bit of accommodation.  See that story here at the Guardian.

We have an expression in the U.S., “When life hands you lemons, make lemonade”.  The Syrians should consider making lemonade.

Go here for a few other posts we have written about the problems with illegal aliens arriving on Cyprus.

Guest column: The abuser is a “refugee” or “asylum seeker”

Editor’s note:  Reader ‘Pungentpeppers’ has gathered together some recent news for a brief summary of some items that fit a pattern worldwide.  Of course the first one is a story we have covered—the Australian-Iranian refugee terrorist from last week—however we didn’t discuss his record of abusing women.   Guest posts are welcome, but keep them short and send links to the news stories to which you are referring.  Guest posts and lengthy informative comments to an existing post are archived in our comments worth noting’ category.

When a domestic abuser is not deported, that’s deadly! Stories from December.

AUSTRALIA – Iranian fake sheik and refugee, Man Haron Monis (aka Mohammad Hassan Manteghi), held 17 hostages at gunpoint at a Sydney cafe and coffee shop, then killed 2 of them. The refugee had ABUSED his WIFE and was involved in her brutal MURDER. He was facing more than 40 charges of ASSAULT against WOMEN. Yet he was allowed to roam free in Australia’s largest city and was not deported – with tragic consequences.

In North Carolina (a big resettlement state), Arab Mohamed Ali, 35 will get 12 years for strangling his wife, then he will be out on a North Carolina street again. Based on our track record, deportation is unlikely.

CANADA – Somali refugee, Yusuf Osman Abdille, STABBED HIS WIFE and TWO CHILDREN TO DEATH, then “fell” from a bridge onto a Toronto parkway, landing in mid-day traffic in front of a hapless driver. The murder victim, Zahra Abdille, was a refugee who worked as a public health nurse in Canada. At one point, she had fled her abuser and took the children to a shelter for domestic violence victims. Later, she sought court protection but – unable to afford an attorney – she was denied relief. That final factor probably would not have prevented these deaths – but a deportation order would have.

CANADA – Attempted murderer Yiyan Xie, a Chinese national, is playing the deportation excuse game. Xie was due in Kitchener, Ontario, court this month for sentencing for his ATTEMPTED MURDER conviction of his EX-GIRLFRIEND, Yiyang Hao, a university student. Prior to the KNIFE ATTACK, he had bombarded Hao with emails for months, THREATENING to KILL her. In court, his attorney asserted that if Xie were deported to China, he might be executed. Boo hoo! Isn’t that what he planned for his girlfriend?!

UNITED STATES – An Ethiopian refugee, Arab Mohamed Ali, 35, will spend at least 12 years in prison after pleading guilty in the STRANGULATION MURDER of his WIFE Safaya Dadacha, 23, in 2013. After committing the horrendous deed, the murderer himself called 911 and waited with his two children for police to arrive. Let’s hope he’ll be DEPORTED! But maybe not…..  [US taxpayers paid to resettle him, now you get to pay for his incarceration.—ed]

During FY2013, the Obama Administration – instead of deporting – released offenders who had committed 1,317 acts of domestic violence. (See Senator Chuck Grassley below.) The Ethiopian murderer has two kids he did not kill – that’s “family”, isn’t it? And with the PC concern about uniting immigrant “families” – even though domestic abusers are deadly to families – this perp might eventually be released to wreak havoc upon the surviving kids.

Immigration lawyers and activists oppose deportation of domestic abusers. They say it’s unfair because we cannot deport our own domestic offenders. I say, if you have too much trash and trouble – get rid of some of the junk!

Comment worth noting: Reverse African out-migration through colonization of Africa by first-world countries

Isn’t that a novel and sensible idea!

Editors note:  We have a category (comments worth noting) here at RRW where we post comments from readers that you might have missed at individual posts or which came to me directly.  In response to our post From Catalonia to Calais…. reader ‘momodoom’ suggests “historically proven” colonization by advanced countries would make Africa a more appealing place to live.   Yes indeed!

Momodoom:

Africa in the late 19th Century. Is it better-off today? Obviously not! https://resourcesforhistoryteachers.wikispaces.com/WHII15

All these Africans (and Middle Easterners) fleeing their homes for the green grass of Europe! But really – who wouldn’t want to leave Africa? What does it have to make people want to stay there?

Nothing.

Well, what could Africa do to become more appealing to people? What could the world do to make Africa more appealing…?

Colonization! Historically proven to make Africa a more civilized place.

The U.N. should sponsor a program to allow any Western country in to various failed Third World states. They would “conquer” the country insofar as its legal system and enforcement, and the ensuing lack of corruption and greater stability would allow for investment – both from within the country, and from interested parties throughout the world, creating improved economic circumstances which might persuade their youth to stay in-country.

There would be a plethora of details to be worked out, but it would be a far better system than the one currently in place: Western countries propping up failed and corrupted states with aid money, who then produce excess population which then proceeds to leave said failed state to come and invade the Western countries.

I see this as a win-win!!

Can you hear the hissing now from the politically-correct one-worlders?
