Comment worth noting: Rohingya are economic migrants, fake refugees, do not admit to US

The other day I told you that I believe that the Trump team doesn’t have a good understanding of where all of the questionable ‘refugees’ might be coming from.

We have been taking tens of thousands of refugees from Burma (Myanmar) over many years. Most have been Christian minorities that the Buddhist government there was forcing out. Now we are stepping up and taking Rohingya Muslims from Burma and Bangladesh.
I told you about it here just the other day. Bangladesh is a Muslim country and so is Malaysia, one of several countries in the region harboring Rohingya boat people.

I have followed the Rohingya story since I first began writing RRW in 2007 and I can assure you the media has skewed the news to make it appear that the Rohingya are pure as the driven snow. They never mention that the latest round of conflict began when Muslim men raped and murdered a Buddhist girl. I have no time to go back over the 194 previous posts in my Rohingya reports category, you might want to have a look yourself. The writer, below, reports things that I found to be true over the years.

Those so-called Refugees “Rohingya” Muslims are “economic” refugee. Basically, they are from Bangladesh. They will claim they are from Myanmar, for getting a refugee status and blame Myanmar government with bias fake stories. Trump must not take them into the US anymore. These people are good for nothing, and but for troubles. In Myanmar, they have caused a lot problem. They are with Mujahideen Terrorists.

The “Rohingya” name pop out not long ago, ridiculously they wanna claim themselves as new ethnic of Myanmar. In fact, The “Rohingya” word is not mentioned in any dating back to Arakan (now Rakhine) Kingdom years, not long before 1950 as well. In fact, there was no historical report about fighting for Burma Independent movement at all. The ‘Rohingya’ was totally unknown to the British administration of Burma.

In WWII, British India region merged Burma/India border, that opened freely Western border of Myanmar. The people who lived Chittagong of Bangladesh and India got opportunities to travel and work in Western of Myanmar.

The Partition of India gave East Chittagong Bangladeshi people ideas that they could take advantage on the Western part of Burma as well. There was 1971 Bangladesh genocide, the Urdu-speakers was “Non-Bengalis” that time. That worries for Chittagong Bangladeshi, they wouldn’t be considered as Bangladeshi in Bangladesh.

From 1946 a separatist, the jihadist uprising had gripped Arakan and in support of their political agenda, the ‘Rohingya’ myth was created after.

At Uprising of jihadist Chittagong Bangladesh (now Bengali Muslims) chanted “Pakistan Zindabad” while killing Rakhine Citizen. Mujahideen took advantage and encroached Rakhine land at WWII. There were the mass killing of Rakhine people and hundreds of villages burned down in 1942. On 28 March 1942, Bangladeshi Muslims from Northern Arakan massacred around 20,000 Buddhists in Buthidaung and Maungdaw townships. At the same period, around 5,000 Muslims in Minbya and Mrauk-U Townships were also killed by the Arakanese Buddhists.

However, Myanmar government intervened the Mujahideen movement by the time of 1962. The Myanmar Government banned all Bangladeshi illegal immigrants who are already in Rakhine state (Western Part of Myanmar) not to travel all states of Myanmar. The economic illegal immigrants stuck in Rakhine state, mostly Maungdaw township, Buthidaung and Rathedaung Townships of Northern Rakhine State.

Due to the poverty of Bangladesh, the economic immigrants from Bangladesh never stop coming to the Western part of Burma. More than 26 million live under the poverty line in Bangladesh, they live on less than $1.25 a day. the Government is not willing to do anything for them.

On the other hands, Myanmar Government was totally corrupted and the Junta was notoriously threatening to all ethnic groups in Myanmar. The Shan, Kachin, Kaya, Kayin, Chin, Rakhine ethnic groups suffered and they become refugees in Thailand and Malaysia. Real ethnic groups of Myanmar got opportunities to settle down in third countries after suffering.

When UNHCR focuses on Myanmar for ethnic crisis, Bangladeshi fake refugees approached and got aids by UNHCR as well, the people who didn’t make $1.25 a day got the opportunity to live with UN aids in Burma is their fortune, as long as they fabricated with fake stories to convince UNHCR staffs of their so-called people beaten up by Junta and harsh treatment of Myanmar Government. In order to convince UNHCR, they had pretended they were one of ethnic, “Rohingya”, which never existed in History of Burma.

When refugees crisis is the focus by internationals. They take advantages of getting resettlement. fake media will promote for their rating. Their advocates gain access to so many political, social and academic platforms to promote their sole agenda. Meanwhile, Myanmar government unethically approached them as well, issue “White card” as temporary identity card and forced them to vote for their Union Solidarity and Development Party (USDP) at Election. On the other hand, Global Muslims (grassroots to imams) gang up on the people of Myanmar (all over internet and media). Speaking of “Rohingya”, there is no ethnic name in Myanmar, If you have ethnic, you must have own language, they don’t have Rohingya language, they speak only as Chittagong Bengali, breath as Chittagong Bengali, they are only recognized as Bengali in Myanmar, nothing more than that. They are not really stateless, their motherland is Bangladesh.

By staying in the refugees camp in Bangladesh or getting aids from UNHCR office in Myanmar couldn’t make them satisfied. In Myanmar, they cannot travel only in Rakhine state. They later learned about resettlement program of UNHCR. But UNHCR in Myanmar didn’t have any resettlement program for them. However, UNHCR at Malaysia and Thailand provides the refugee to resettlement in third countries.

Getting into Myanmar is easy, bribery helps them to get inside of Myanmar easily. Or just cross over the river where there is no border guard. However, getting to Malaysia is hard for them. Smugglers convinced Bangladeshi how they could earn $1000 in a month in Malaysia. Indeed the Bangladeshi who made to Malaysia could get a better living. Thus, Bangladeshi are deliberately paying smugglers about US$200 to $250 to travel to Malaysia to become economic Refugees. The people who move in this route, bet with their lives at risk. But this is the only way they could effort to travel. If they got lucky, they will get a chance to get resettlement in third countries instantly.

Any Refugees coming to Malaysia/Thailand are usually sent to countries like Australia, Canada, Czech Republic, Denmark, New Zealand, Norway, and the United States for resettlement. However, Thailand route has long wait time to get to third countries. Their best destination is the Malaysia. There is already 42,230 Rohingya under UNHCR protection in Malaysia. That is the main motivation for them to get to there, and it is the cheapest way for traveling to Malaysia if they are not very lucky, they usually end up in Thailand, wait for more years to get the resettlement or travel again to Malaysia.

After arriving in Malaysia, they filed asylum (application) at UNHCR for refugee status, UNHCR aid these refugees, and provides monthly allowances for them until they get the settlement in third countries. Anyhow, they could easily go back without problems if they don’t get refugee status (but they are not willing to go back, even without refugee card, they could earn money) or if they have money, they usually buy refugee status in Malaysia. Some smuggler applied UNHCR card for selling the Refugees status in Malaysia. They usually pay Malaysia RM-3,500 for the card. UNHCR aware about those fraudulent activities, but they kept on silences.

The economic refugees are traveling again and again to Malaysia until international leaders push pressure to Bangladesh. Sooner or later, you will see another boat come out from Bangladesh, and claims they are from Myanmar since the topic is hot. In that case, Myanmar government is easy to blame. They have kept doing for the decade. This time they got caught by authorities (Thai, Malaysia, Indonesia) who got enough of their problems (too many crimes cases with Rohingya in Thai, Malaysia), and push back to sea.

The people are sneaking into other countries without papers by boats, they left the Bangladesh, they have only 2 points in this immigration – firstly try to get UNHCR status or get a chance to work in any country, because they don’t get enough to make living in Bangladesh. If you call these fake people a “Refugees”, then we fail to support real refugees who really need for. We must save cards for real one, not these fakes.

Comment worth noting: Let's pay them to go home

Reader Harold made a suggestion this morning. But it isn’t completely new to us. It is an idea another reader proposed in 2015—let’s pay refugees to go home! I know many of you balked at the idea of using more of our money, but here Harold makes a suggestion for how to pay for it.

How about a Refugee Repatriation Act? The government would pay each refugee wishing to return to their home country $20,000 and provide free air fare in exchange for their US papers and/or citizenship and would NOT be eligible to return to the USA. With the United Nations handling the relocation of refugees and since the USA pays over 3 Billion of the UN’s regular and peacekeeping budget, the $20,000 dollar RRA amount would be deducted from dues the US pays to the United Nations.

St Cloud, MN and surrounding area, where I live, has a refugee problem and assimilation in our area is not taking place.

Ann, you have been out front on this refugee problem so give this suggestion some consideration.

I’m sure many of you assume that all the refugees we are hauling in here now want to be here. Over the years I’ve heard from those who want to go home! They were mislead about what it was like in America and are unhappy, but they cannot afford the airfare to leave. Setting up a program like the one Harold proposes would help identify those who hate it here and have no intention of becoming patriotic Americans.
Along these same lines, I would like to see a hotline established at the US State Department where unhappy refugees could call in to voice concerns, and the line could also be used for whistleblowers (I hear from those too!) from within the refugee contracting agencies to call in.
Although whistleblowers might now want to contact the Inspector General offices at the State Department and in the Dept. of Health and Human Services. Less chance right now of retaliation against you!

Editor: From time to time we post comments from readers that you might have missed where they were posted at a particular post. As regular readers know, I have been nagging you all to become more involved with what your Washington reps are doing because frankly, if the US Refugee Admissions Program is going to be trashed or reformed, it will be Congress that must do it (or it will be Congress’ Appropriations process that could slow it).
Trump can stop it in the short term, but it will take Congress to make the necessary longterm changes while Trump is in office. (We will be watching what he does in the first 30 days on this issue!)

I know you have little faith in Congress, but you must keep the pressure on!
In my previous post, I reported on Rep. Brian Babin’s interview with Fox News.

Our reader, FloridaBuff, suggests becoming a Heritage Sentinel. The Heritage Foundation is playing a huge role in the Trump transition. Although because it is a jobs issue it should be a top concern, immigration/refugees is not a major priority for them. So, I did just sign up.

Ann – I agree with your recommendation to speak to Congress members. Another thing to do is encourage members to join the Heritage Action organization which now has 17,000 plus national conservative members focused on grassroots communications with Congress. You learn a lot about the process, and I personally have posted refugee issues on their internal member forum. It is free, and a great way to learn how Congress works. Every Monday they have a nationwide teleconference for a half hour at 5:30pm to discuss current issues. The only negative is that the issues selected are by Heritage Action (a spinoff of Heritage Foundation) thus Refugee Resettlement has never been on the priority list (yet). But learning how Congress works is valuable and you can apply that to your own discussions with your local Congress members. Editor: As you know from time to time we post reader comments that we think you might like, but might have missed. This is a comment from ‘7Delta’ in response to our post on how the OSU Somali slasher’s mother is scared (according to her lawyer) by Trump’s tweets.

Oh, for Pete’s sake. The jihadist’s family is traumatized by a tweet and the excuse for Wrong-Way Artan jack-knifing on campus is that he became “radicalized?” The old “the devil made me do it” radicalization defense…meaning, of course, that people who object to stealth jihad and hurt wittle Iswammic feewings are “recruiting” for ISIS. Okay, it’s the right motivational sentiment, but the wrong devil. Of course, according to our Mouths of Sauron, Wrong-Way’s actions can’t have anything to do with Islamic doctrine, now can it?

Sorry, that song and dance went out with the minuet. Knowing Islamic doctrine is in style and their own operator’s manuals blow their flimsy fears and excuses out of Wrong Way’s tail pipe. Mom and Dad, wherever he may be, just got a free ticket to paradise, along with 68 additional close relatives. Chances are Mom and her remaining six young’uns (and probably Dad) had a wedding feast (paid for by us) with their closest friends to celebrate. Passed out sweets to their neighbors too (also purchased on our dime.) She’s not afraid of anything other than her attempts to trick us into being compliant with Shariah blasphemy laws won’t work anymore, as are her fellow hizrahites. In that respect, her fears (and theirs) are well founded.

Still, there’s good news! The reported rapidly spreading ailment, Islamophobia, has been cured! It’s a miracle! Amazing… true…but it never even existed. Imagine that! What a relief. We can quit worrying about it, just in time for Christmas.

Nothing Trump, nor any other happy infidel has done, will do, or can do has any effect whatsoever on Islamic doctrine. We are irrelevant to what Islam believes. The Double Duds, Mohammed and Allah, “radicalized” her son, only they called it devout.

Does anybody with a few functioning brain cells really think ISIS or cultural jihadists would actually tell us that criticizing Islam or electing Trump will recruit for the jihadists, so we shouldn’t do it, if it really did? What? Do they have too many soldiers of Allah and need to cut back to slow down establishing their caliphate so nobody gets hurt? Booty just being spread too thin? The sex slave market is saturated? I don’t think so. Wrong-Way was a devout follower of the 2 D’s. Pretty simple and doesn’t even require more than a basic understanding of Islamic doctrine.

The only thing we do that aids and abets ISIS and the Double D’s is to not tell the truth. Islam is what it is.

No sympathy from my keyboard for Mama Wrong Way’s “fears.” I’m sorry her son felt the obligation to try to kill people and to die a martyr, but that’s an Islamic issue. Maybe she should ask her prophet for profit (he got 1/5 of the booty, ya know) and Allah’s Head what to do when their infidel targets can read and won’t cooperate? That is, if she can figure out how to say it in Arabic, since that’s the only language Allah speaks.

I mean, seriously. Whining and name calling is just not working anymore, not even with the help of female news anchors suggesting infidel women should comply with Shariah law and wear hijabs in solidarity with Muslim women when a jihadist decides to get martyred, as if that’ll make everything okay when their men beat them or they’re the victims of an honor killing, which is in accordance with Shariah law too, or when the Filthy Rich Lawless Center puts people telling the truth on their Dollars for Hate List, or when our suspiciously “ignorant” of Islam president keeps telling us jihad isn’t Islamic. What happened to good old fashioned lying working?

Dang those fake news sites that truthfully report on Islamic atrocities!

A curse of fleas upon the Internet for making the Qu’ran, Hadith and Sira available for the infidel’s reading pleasure.

Seriously, these whiny rote replies are severely lacking in creativity and are as old as Mohammed’s first camel. Nobody, except the bobble-headed, bleached blonde news anchors, their suck-up male counterparts and the few parrots still flapping their fake social justice feathers, believes it anymore. The liars issuing talking points to the blondies and bird brains know the truth. Islam is their tool. Islam, naturally, intends to take their heads. Tickets will be available soon, at a venue near you. Popcorn is welcome.

Okay, got that off my chest. I’ll take another dose of Mucinex just to be sure. Later.

Editor: Last week one of the nine major federal resettlement contractors responsible for placing refugees in your towns and cities held a post-election webinar to discuss the future of refugee resettlement in the wake of Donald Trump’s victory on November 8th.
World Relief and its fellow contracting agencies have been calling the shots all these years with virtually no Congressional oversight and definitely no assessment of the Refugee program’s value within any previous administration—Democrat or Republican. All of that could change after January 21, 2017, and they are worried!

Below is a comment from a former VOLAG (contracting agency) employee who listened in on the webinar and had this to say (subheadings and highlighting are mine):

GUEST COMMENTS ON WORLD RELIEF’S NOVEMBER 18, 2016, 3PM (EST) WEBINAR ENTITLED, “LEADING YOUR CHURCH THROUGH THE POST-ELECTION ENVIRONMENT”

World Relief issued an invitation on a World Relief Facebook page to join the Webinar. As an evangelical Christian and a former employee of a federal and state funded refugee resettlement agency, I want to share some of the notes I took while listening.

Please read on so you will understand their viewpoint so you can better dialogue with them and others. I’ve tried to be accurate in using quotation marks so as not to misrepresent or misquote anything said on the webinar. Keep in mind that World Relief is the humanitarian arm of the National Association of Evangelicals.

Emily Gray, World Relief Senior Vice President of US Ministries for World Relief addressed Church leaders and others who registered for the webinar on how to “navigate a new environment post-election.” Scott Arbeiter, President of World Relief, in a reference to Revelation 7:9, spoke of looking forward “to a very real time when people of every tribe and tongue and nation will be gathered around the throne.” He called on Christians to demonstrate the love of Christ and admitted that many Church members are divided about the recent election results, a condition that is not new for the Church. He encouraged Church leaders to look at culture through the lens of their Christian faith.

Blaming Breitbart for creating fear?

Dr. Ed Stetzer of the Billy Graham Center for Evangelism at Wheaton College noted that “most conservative evangelicals see refugees as an opportunity for mission and evangelism” and added that “Americans are welcoming and generous people except when they are afraid.” He immediately referenced Breitbart.com. I can only assume the implication is that Breitbart.com has stirred up fear. Is accurate reporting of actual events stirring up fear or just telling the truth? Stetzer said that five to 10 years ago, evangelicals were committed to serving the “marginalized and the vulnerable” and he dismissed the idea that refugee resettlement is an easy way for terrorists to enter the US, due to the lengthy process refugees go through prior to resettlement. He said the refugee process is the worst way for terrorists to “sneak in” and the Church must engage these issues in the public milieu. I would refer Dr. Stetzer to those Breitbart.com articles as well as the following from The Daily Mail, Fox News, and CNN. Again, is this fear-mongering or just accurate reporting? Stetzer said that because an “anti-refugee mentality has swept up the country and the mood of the country has shifted,” the Church must have a sense of advocacy. He mentioned that the means of refugees entering this country is different from Europe in that they “can’t walk in here.”

Trump nominees aggressively anti-refugees

He maintains that evangelical leaders largely voted for Trump in spite of his personality and as a vote against Hillary Clinton and that “most white evangelicals align with the Republican party.” He noted that most of President-elect Trump’s nominees are “aggressively anti-refugees.” He enjoined the Church to be driven by faith, not by fear and said that evangelicals have been “co-opted by fear.

James Misner, Senior Vice President at World Relief, referencing the sacraments of baptism and communion and I Corinthians 12 and Galatians 3, said the message is to “value ‘the other.’”

Does Christ want us to love those who would destroy Christians and Jews?

It seems to me that Misner is preaching love of “the other” (a biblical concept, to be sure) but using scripture to imply that evangelicals who are anti- refugee resettlement are opposed to people who are different. Granted, these scriptures do command Christians to love and embrace each other, and those different from themselves, but I do not believe they command embracing pagan, anti-Christian religions and worldviews which seek to undermine and abolish Christians and Jews! Yes, Christians are to be unified, but not unified with anti-Christian ideologies (which the refugee resettlement industry is spreading throughout this nation).

Job of the church to resettle refugees, not the government! (Huh!)

Strangely, Misner said, “We should not outsource welcoming the stranger and serving the vulnerable to the government.” Isn’t that exactly what “faith based” VOLAGs such as World Relief have done? Misner never mentioned the hundreds of thousands of dollars that the government grants to WORLD RELIEF and other resettlement agencies to do what Misner thinks is the job of the Church! Misner quoted Tim Keller, “Unless you believe the gospel everything you do will be driven by pride and fear.” What a patronizing and condescending use of Keller’s quote! Many, many Christians definitely believe the gospel and are driven by faith, logic, and sound reason and not by pride or fear, particularly in regard to the fiscally unsustainable, fraud fraught, and dangerous refugee resettlement program. They are driven by common sense and compassion for a nation and its citizens, present and future!

Emily Gray shared some concerns about that the new government administration would mean for refugees. She said a concern of already resettled refugees is that refugees who are separated from their family members will possibly face even longer separations if resettlement numbers are diminished but that until the new administration takes office in January, President Obama’s 110,000 presidential determination number of refugees to be resettled continues.

Another issue she addressed is DACA, which, because it is a 2012 presidential executive order and not a law, it can be changed by the incoming President. According to Gray, 500,000 to 750,000 people receive benefits under DACA and since these benefits may be affected, they are worried!

As a former refugee resettlement worker at a VOLAG, I find it unconscionable that these speakers did not address the serious and valid concerns that evangelicals and everyone else may have about the fraud, fiscal costs to communities, and national security in regard to refugee resettlement and other forms of immigration.

As an evangelical Christian who has supported missionaries, missions, and befriended many, many who are “different” from me, “the other,” the speakers referred to, I find their comments judgmental, patronizing, condescending, and offensive. I fully agree that Jesus commanded His followers to love and serve all people and not to regard one as better than the other. However, He nowhere commands me to be complicit in a program that, over the long run, undermines the very freedoms we have in this nation. I am happy to send my tithes and love offerings to ministries that minister to all peoples. I am not willing to be taxed for it so the government can pay “Christian” agencies to do what the Church should do on its own. That is why I fully support a “Defund Refugee Resettlement” movement.
