Guest comment: Hannity interview explains why refugee flow so dangerous to us

Editor:  From time to time I post guest columns from readers.  Although a few days late, this is a very welcome piece.  I heard the interview live driving through South Dakota the other day and thought—you must all hear this!  Thanks to reader Julia for being on the same wavelength and sending me her comments. (Emphasis is mine)

Rich Higgins and Raheem Kassam Warn Against the Inflow of Refugees

Sean Hannity questioned Rich Higgins and Raheem Kassam on his radio show about “why President Obama is insisting 10,000 ‘refugees’ from the Middle East [be] brought immediately to America, and why Democratic nominee Hilary[sic] Clinton advocates increasing numbers by ‘500 per cent'” in light of the non-stop killing, raping, and groping by refugees and migrants in France, Germany, and Belgium and when Obama’s advisers say that terrorists may infiltrate the refugee population.
Higgins is a former official with the Department of Defense’s Combating Terrorism Technical Support Office & Irregular Warfare Support Program. Kassam is Editor-in-Chief at the Breitbart London bureau.

As to Hannity’s question, Higgins answered, “I think that they’re so keen to have them coming in here because their Muslim Brotherhood advisers are telling them that is best for the West.”
Kassam added that “powerful liberal open borders activists such as George Soros” were responsible as well. His message to them: “it’s very hard to fight for social justice if you’re dead.”

“‘And the most galling element of it,’ [Kassam] continued, ‘is that we have the BBC, and the New York Times, and Sky News (editor note – Rupert Murdoch), and all of these other guys who are basically saying: ‘well, a backpack killed these people, a machete killed them.’ No. These are Syrian migrants who have faked being refugees. Some of them have been turned down in terms of asylum status, and they happen to have bombmaking knowledge and explosives at the same time?”

Higgins emphasized that the “outcome of this enemy isn’t just the killing, it is the political [expansion] of the shariah law, of Islamic law, in the west and we see our media compliant with Islamic law already – they won’t tell us the truth about it.” Higgins continued his warning:

“[and] to build on [Kassam’s] comments on the Socialist-Islamist nexus, in 2003, Carlos the Jackal, the Terrorist, in his book Revolutionary Islam said that only a coalition of Marxists and Islamists can destroy the United States and what we see happening right now is that de facto alliance – both in the tactical sense – in the neighborhoods where these NGOs are working with these refugee groups – they’re not actually refugees, they’re immigrants or Muhajirun is the more appropriate technical term for them and this is all part of the Hijra . . . Hijra is a term from Islam . . . this is a Hijra – it is an act of moving here – they call it the process of settlement – they are not coming to immigrate and to actually become Americans or to subscribe to the Constitution – they’re coming here as a process of settlement.”

When the Obama administration says ISIS is on the run because it may have lost some “occupied territory” or lost “some leaders to drone strikes”, read what “Carlos the Jackal” surmised below and realize that ISIS is adaptive and “the only destination to which [it is] on the run is the next step in [its] strategy or the next attack . . . and [w]e have to stop falling into the ‘lone wolf’ trap, the insistence that if [ISIS] leaders aren’t texting instructions to [its] operatives, an attack somehow has less strategic importance or is not directly connected to [its] . . . plan.”

“Carlos the Jackal”

“Carlos the Jackal” a/k/a Ilich Ramírez Sánchez, is “a Venezuelan now serving a life sentence for murder in France,” He “saw that only revolutionary Islam could recruit the large numbers of killers and martyrs necessary to destroy the United States.”

“Carlos had also concluded that the United States could not be destroyed by any military rival. What was needed was a campaign of terror . . . [and] that terrorism is ‘the cleanest and most efficient form of warfare.’ By killing civilians, he argue[d], the terrorist saps the morale of the enemy and forces its leadership to submit to the demands of the revolution or surrender.”

“. . . [Carlos] dwell[ed] on the necessity for all Muslim men to grow beards and all Muslim women to wear the “revolutionary” head-cover (the hijab) invented in Lebanon in the 1970s. He sa[id] that beards and the hijab can be used as tools of terror, to dishearten the Americans by reminding them that “their enemy Islam” is in their midst.” See. See also.

Editor: So the question we (who understand this) have is this:  They are telling us that they are coming for us, so why don’t more people believe them?

Comment worth noting: Trump answers question about repealing Refugee Act

Editor: If you are a regular reader, you know that occasionally we post a comment from a reader that we don’t want to lose buried at a specific post.  This is from Joe Newton of Georgia’sRefugee Resettlement Relief’ a citizens’ group (a pocket of resistance!):
Trump in Georgia

“This morning our Ex. Dir. of Refugee Resettlement Relief spoke with the presumptive Republican nomineeDonald Trump at the Trump Victory event. Our director raised his hand and was acknowledged by Mr. Trump, then stated: “Mr. Trump please repeal the Refugee Resettlement Act.*** That is how the terrorist are getting into the country.” Trump responded, “I agree” and then pointed out several recent acts of Islamic terrorism committed by refugees and their families.

Mr. Trump had already spent most of his time talking about terrorism. With regard to the mass shooting in Orlando at the Pulse nightclub he said a high ranking representative in the gay community told him that the LBGT community was going to support him because “they know I am the only one who is going to protect them.” He went on to say that this is not only true for the gay community, but for all of us.

He again committed to building the wall and reminded us that the 16,000 Federal Border Patrol employees have endorsed him—-something they have never done in any other presidential race.

Trump emphasized the immigration issue at the Mexican border.  He dwelled on the massive amount of illegal drugs coming across the border, and claimed that the wall would help stem the flow of the drugs.

Trump was calm, well spoken and reasonable. He was a very pleasant, but a firmly committed gentleman. This is not the Donald Trump the media is describing. Donald Trump is thoroughly a gentleman, knows where he is going and what he wants to do when elected president.”

LOL! Check out this story about the event. Trump left empty seats for the banned Washington Post Reporters!
***Of course we all know it takes Congress to repeal the Act (Trump can press Congress from the bully pulpit), that is why it is so important that Speaker Ryan be given the heave-ho. Under his leadership it will never happen!

Comment worth noting: reader wants map to show state per capita refugee arrivals

Reader TipTipTopKek asked the following in a comment to the post last night with the map of the US .  He/she wants to know which states receive the most refugees on a per capita basis.

I would love to see these raw numbers reconfigured in two different ways:

First, as a per capita number based on the total population of the State

Second, as a per capita number based on the NON-HISPANIC WHITE population of the State

My suspicion is that, generally speaking and with Wyoming as an obvious exception, the highest RAPEfugee flows have been into the WHITEST States.

Maybe some one of you is good with numbers, I’m not, however we have previously posted the map below which shows the distribution of refugees to states on a per capita basis, but we don’t know which states are the whitest. I’m guessing the Dakotas, Nebraska, Idaho and Vermont are examples of states with large white populations and they definitely are getting more than their share of refugees.  There is no doubt there is a method to the madness—the UN/US State Dept. is seeding diversity.

map-refugees-distorted
What is this you ask? It is a map distorted to show which states are disproportionately receiving refugees based on their overall populations for years 2009-2012.  The number in each state is the number of refugees resettled per existing residents of the state. http://www.humanosphere.org/basics/2014/02/map-day-refugees-accepted-us-states-population-adjusted/

Comment worth noting: What happens when a Muslim girl is expected to shower with a male who thinks he is a girl?

After all, you have to laugh sometimes! Our reader domstudent11 posed this little query which demonstrates so hilariously how the Left will tie itself into knots with its political correctness nonsense!
From domstudent11:
restroom sign

Here’s what baffles me: at the same time that Obama is suing North Carolina for it’s “bathroom” law and trying to bully schools into mingling boys and girls in bathrooms and locker rooms, he is “importing” thousands of Muslims who would find it permissible to attack a non-relative male seen with any of their women.

What does he think will happen when Muslim girls are forced to shower with males who “think” they are female?

What does he think will happen when a Muslim husband sees a man (who “feels” like a woman) following his wife into a public restroom?

The only solution I can see is that public facilities and schools will be expected to provide an additional bathroom/locker room for Muslim girls only. Muslim boys would be free, of course, to share the facilities with infidel girls (if they are feeling like girls on any given day). Fair isn’t it?  Other suggestions?

Afterthought: Where is CAIR on Obama’s bathroom policy?

Guest post: A report from someone on the inside (information you should know!)

Editor: This is an anonymous submission to RRW from someone who has experience working for a refugee resettlement agency. Increasingly we are hearing from people with firsthand knowledge of what is involved with resettling refugees in America.  These are people who feel compassion for many of the refugees they have worked with, but also know that the UN/US State Department Refugee Admission Program is flawed and needs extensive reform.  We applaud their bravery in speaking out.
From ‘anonymous’…

After working for several years for a refugee resettlement VOLAG***,  I was dismayed to see the following areas of irresponsibility. Before I begin, it should be noted that all of my co-workers, many former refugees, themselves, went beyond what the job calls for in assisting their refugee clients. They remained “on call” to their clients and served more hours than they were paid for. I can’t fault them on the quality of their service.

Somali family Indiana
Elderly and disabled refugees like this Somali man in Indiana receive 7 years of SSI benefits just like any other American (although he never paid in to the system). However, refugees must apply to become US citizens in that time frame. In searching around (into the regulatory weeds) I learned that there is also a 3 year extension available.  http://newamericamedia.org/2015/05/older-refugees-face-challenges-trying-to-maintain-ssi-aid.php More on extensions here: https://secure.ssa.gov/poms.nsf/lnx/0500502301

What I DO fault them, and all the staff at the VOLAG, for is what I view as continually enabling refugee clients to remain dependent on social services and welfare handouts. While all staff certainly encouraged their clients to get jobs and keep them, when the clients quit their jobs (quit, not laid off!) the caseworkers were quick to ask the Director to pay rent and utilities for these clients. The Director was pretty quick to do so, when there were funds available.

An occasional helping-out for someone who is seriously working and trying to take care of his family is compassionate. A continual coming-to-the-rescue of clients who just can’t or won’t keep a job is crippling.

The motive for paying the rent more than a couple of times is not really compassion (in my viewpoint). I think it’s because the staff realize they need to keep a good relationship with the apartment complexes. Clients being evicted for non payment of rent is bad for the refugee resettlement business!

A number of young, single, male Eritrean and Ethiopian refugees were very transient. Three or four of them would sign a year’s lease (required by the apartment) but then they would all move around the complex as they found their friends or others they’d rather live with. They frequently broke their leases just like they frequently quit their jobs.

Interestingly, I observed that Sudanese, Bhutanese, and Burmese were, generally, as a “people group”, very hard working, saved their money, helped out others in their community.

Eritreans (mostly young, single, males, Orthodox Christians) and Iraqis (almost ALL Sunni and Shiite Muslims) seemed to have the most difficult time keeping jobs. Housekeeping was a no-no for Muslims; landscaping was too hot; meat industry was too cold. They frequently just up and quit because the job locations were too far away (two bus rides and a couple of hours). And, anyway, there were enough ethnic owned convenience stores and Middle Eastern restaurants that paid “under the table” to keep them going.

Finally, the thing that burned me up (still does!) is the fact that refugees aged 65 and over automatically qualify for SSI benefits! https://www.ssa.gov/ssi/text-eligibility-ussi.htm.

This benefit was over $700 a month. They are also waived from applying for work, but are assured of getting Medicaid and food stamps! I’m getting ‘up there’ myself, been working for decades, and have paid into the system instead of being a drain on it! What’s up with that?

I never understood why the caseworkers and Director didn’t see how the financial irresponsibility on the part of so many refugees, their unwillingness to do certain jobs, their entitlement mentality, and dependence on welfare, coupled with the sheer NUMBERS coming into this country, is contributing to the eventual downfall of Judaeo-Christian society.

I recommend that RRW readers spread the word, question their local resettlement agencies, attend refugee related meetings in their states (If they’re government funded, they’re PUBLIC meetings), question their elected officials, research the impact resettlement is having on your local school systems, and, finally, get involved as volunteers and try to have an impact on the refugees coming into their communities.

When refugees first arrive they often like to have an American friend. They actually trust Americans more than their own countrymen, I found. Why not try to teach them the Judeo-Christian principles you believe in? Why not try to impress upon them the basic values we cherish, i.e., fiscal responsibility, independence from welfare, community service, being a contributor rather than a drain? They ARE going to become citizens and voters, within about five years of arrival.

While you’re trying to slow the flow (it’ll never stop), why not get involved and exert some influence? You’ve got nothing to lose and a country to save?

Thank you for speaking out!  This post is filed for future reference in our category entitled, ‘Comments worth noting/guest posts’ here.
***VOLAG is an acronym used in the refugee industry.  It stands for Voluntary Agency which I think is such a joke because most VOLAGS are largely funded by you, the US taxpayer, and are thus hardly doing this work voluntarily (implying with charitable motives). The nine major federal contractors, or VOLAGS, are here.
