Is Trump planning to suck-up to Aussie PM Turnbull next week? The Australian thinks so

Is that why the number of fake ‘refugees’ arriving in the US from Australia has picked up—-President Trump wants to have the meetings begin on a positive note?
This is yet another update on the “dumb” deal that President Obama made with Australian Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull just as Obama was walking out the door in 2016, a deal that Trump has agreed to honor.

Australia doesn’t want them!

Trump and Turnbull
Trump is saving Turnbull’s political hide and we would like to know why!  One of these detainees goes off the rails and it will be Trump whose hide is in danger.

At first there was hope that President Trump would dump the deal where we agreed to take up to 1,250 ‘asylum seekers’ being held by Australia in offshore detention camps in exchange for Australia taking Central Americans in Costa Rica.

Do any of you see what we get out of this “deal?”  Those Costa Rica fake refugees are not our problem either!

By the way, the No Borders International Left has succeeded in so muddying the waters about who is, and who isn’t, a refugee that it’s even got the Australian media calling Salvadorans refugees just because their country is a hellhole and they don’t have jobs.
A legitimate refugee must be able to prove he/she will be PERSECUTED if returned to a home country—poverty and crime are not persecution!
Here is The Australian suggesting that the number of detainees being moved to the US (where they will be free) has picked up because Trump wants to please Turnbull.  (Sorry The Australian link isn’t working because it is behind a pay wall.)
Huh! I sure hope this isn’t a suck-up move on Trump’s part. He had it right when he said it was a “dumb” deal that could politically “kill” him.  Just one of these Muslim men goes off the rails and it will be all on Trump (we will be watching!).

The controversial Australia-US refugee swap is gathering pace ahead of Malcolm Turnbull’s meeting with Donald Trump in Washington next week.

Two groups of refugees were this week sent from Manus Island in Papua New Guinea and Nauru to the US, and two groups of asylum-seekers from El Salvador have been assembled in Costa Rica for clearance to resettle in Australia.

Immigration officials have denied the refugee deals were linked but they were the source of early friction between the President and Prime Minister.

Mr Trump slammed the deal negotiated with Barack Obama as “the worst deal ever”, “stupid” and said it would “kill” him politically. But the US has stuck to its agreement to take 1250 refugees from the Middle East and Asia who were denied entry to Australia after arriving by boat and diverted to Nauru and Manus Island for processing.

In return, Australia has agreed to take refugees fleeing one of the countries reportedly labelled a “shit hole” by Mr Trump at the height of a recent US debate on immigration.

Salvadorans are NOT refugees!

The Australian continues….

Refugee numbers have exploded in El Salvador in recent years in response to a breakdown of law and order.

A UNHRC [UNHCR-ed]spokesman in New York said about 30 Salvadorian refugees were in Costa Rica en route to Australia.

[….]

But resettlement of refugees from Manus Island to the US has been stepped up ahead of next week’s meeting between Mr Trump and Mr Turnbull. A third group of 18 refugees from Manus Island flew from Port Moresby yesterday to be resettled in the US.

The men were all single Afghan, Pakistani and Rohingyan refugees.

And, although in detention on offshore islands for years, they will be free on the streets of Your Town, USA!

Click here for all the posts about the long sorry history of the dumb deal which by the way sets a terrible precedent for the refugee program going forward.

The long knives are out for Trump's pick to head the IOM

The IOM is the International Organization for Migration.
Until not too long ago it was a non-profit group just like the other federal resettlement contractors that depended mostly on taxpayer funding (like they do) and was (still is) involved with processing refugees in to the US (and elsewhere).
It is now an agency of the United Nations and you might see evidence of them (their bags visible in airports worldwide) as they shepherd migrants around the globe.
You saw those bags in this photo (below) of the Australian rejected ‘refugees’ as they were leaving detention on their way to Anytown, USA.  (BTW, some reports said that the IOM bought the detainees some really nice clothes and shoes.)

Here is the Washington Post story entitled:

Trump nominee for U.N. migration post called Muslims violent, Christians top priority

(I didn’t know that the US gets to nominate the chairman, but I guess that makes sense because we supply the IOM with most of its money!)
Emphasis below is mine:

Isaacs with Franklin Graham
Ken Isaacs (right) with Franklin Graham before Samaritan’s Purse relief flight to Ecuador in 2016

The Trump administration’s nominee to coordinate billions of dollars in assistance to migrants around the world has suggested in social-media posts that Islam is an inherently violent religion and has said Christians in some cases should receive preferential treatment when resettling from hostile areas.

In tweets, social media posts and radio appearances reviewed by The Washington Post, Ken Isaacs, a vice president of the Christian relief organization Samaritan’s Purse, made disparaging remarks about Muslims and denied climate change — a driving force behind migration, according to the agency the State Department has nominated him to lead.

In June, after a terrorist attack in London, Isaac reposted and commented on a CNN International story that quoted a Catholic bishop saying “This isn’t in the name of God, this isn’t what the Muslim faith asks people to do.”

Now (drum roll please) here is what Isaacs said that the Washington Post and critics of Isaacs say disqualifies him from this job!
The WaPo continues…..

Isaacs responded: “CNN, Bishop if you read the Quran you will know ‘this’ is exactly what the Muslim faith instructs the faithful to do.”

Isaacs was announced Thursday as the Trump administration’s pick to become director general of the United Nations’ International Organization for Migration, or IOM. The 169-member organization has a nearly $1 billion annual operating budget and for decades has deferred to the United States, one of its top benefactors, to lead the organization.

eric-schwartz-2
So look who the WaPo quotes as the expert on the Isaacs choice. Eric Schwartz, a hard Left one-worlder who ran the refugee program in the early years of the Obama Admin, and is a George Soros protege.

Trump’s pick could be at risk of being the first U.S. nominee since the late 1960s to lose an election by the group’s voting members, according to several people involved in international relief coordination.

“I don’t know the nominee, but I’ve seen some of his statements and they reflect a troubling prejudice that is really incompatible with a position of leadership for the world’s most important international migration agency,” said Eric Schwartz, president of Refugees International and a former assistant secretary of state under President Barack Obama.

“The person who leads this needs to be a symbol of the international community’s support for humanity. And that means that dark-skin people and Muslim people have the same inherent worth as any other people.”

We urge the President to not withdraw this nomination.

And, heck, if the IOM board votes him down, consider cutting IOM funding (after all, now that the number of refugees being admitted to the US is slowing, you won’t need their services so much!).

Lancaster, PA: Church World Service puts on sob story event, never mentions their federal boodle!

CWS_small2Church World Service, one of the nine major federal resettlement contractors***, paraded ‘refugees’ before the public in a media event designed to put-down the President (and by extension, you, who voted for him!).
This isn’t pick-on-Church-World-Service week, but they seem to be conspicuously out in front leading the Open Borders political activism (along with their friends at HIAS) recently.
See my previous posts, here and here (see if your church is a member of CWS demonstrating with CAIR).
In Lancaster (Amish country) they put on one of many events as part of their first anniversary bash-Trump campaign to gain support for more refugee admissions (for more paying clients for them).

Here is Lancaster Online:

Three years ago, Palestinian writer Emtiaz Zourob said goodbye to her husband and two children and fled Gaza after being warned her life was in danger because of her views.

U.S. authorities granted her asylum and led her to believe her family would be able to join her in Lancaster, where she was resettled.

Palestinian in Lancaster
CWS’s Palestinian poster girl can’t understand how America could have elected “this man.”

Then, with election of Donald Trump as president, Zourob’s hopes for family reunification crashed. [Family reunification=chain migration.—ed]

On Saturday, one year after Trump suspended admittance of people from seven Muslim-majority countries, including Palestinians, Zourob told her story at a Church World Service forum on refugees.

About 60 attended the panel discussion at Lancaster Theological Seminary. Refugees from Congo, Somalia and Sudan also told their stories.

I have a lot of questions about Zourob’s story.  First and foremost she must have gotten in to the US on her own (illegally?) in order to have applied for asylum.  How did she do that? Who paid her way? What is the real story here? And, then if her family is in Egypt (no longer in ‘dangerous’ Gaza) surely she can join them there.
Lancaster Online continues….

Zourob, in an interview, said that in 2016 her husband, son and 10-year-old daughter applied for asylum at the U.S. embassy in Cairo and expected to obtain visas granting them entry.

Zourob, 37, hoped she would be seeing them soon and told friends in Gaza she liked the United States.

“I told them I feel like I’m home because all the people here, they are very nice with me,” she said. “But after Trump, I’m not sure about this actually, if it’s still my home or not.”

“It’s very difficult to explain, but the American people, they choose this man to lead America,” she said.

Go here for more on CWS’s Lancaster PR campaign.
A Church World Service rep once told me that they get the first refugees planted (no he didn’t use that word) and then follow-up in subsequent years with helping bring in the family.
For additional information see our archive on Lancaster (America’s refugee capital?) by clicking here.

CWS fuck
Do your tax dollars pay for political action by ‘loving’ Christians like this one?

Why is Church World Service really so worked up?

The answer is that they are paid millions of dollars annually from the federal treasury for their ‘Christian good works’ and Trump is cutting off the money train.
How much exactly are they getting from the Department of State, the Department of Health and Human Services, HUD, Homeland Security, and the Defense Department? You can find out at USASpending.gov.
First I looked at their federal grants and contracts for FY2008 to FY2018 and this is what I found (screenshot of first page below):
Forget ‘humanitarianism!’ This is about M-O-N-E-Y!
Nearly $450 MILLION since 2008 for Church World Service alone!

Screenshot (174)
This is just the first page of many pages!

So what did they get (involuntarily) from your wallets in FY2017 (end of Obama and beginning of Trump presidencies.)  Screenshots below are of three pages for FY17:

Screenshot (175)
Screenshot (177)
Screenshot (178)

Now, see why they are so upset!
Look at USA Spending for the first 3 months of FY18 (Fiscal years begin Oct. 1 of previous year).
For 3 months, only $171,950 in sub-grants!
Yikes! No wonder they are working so hard against this President!

Screenshot (181)

***Church World Service is just one of the nine (and not one of the largest recipients of your generosity)!  This was so much fun, I think I’ll try to do more of these!
The number in parenthesis is the portion of their budget that you involuntarily pay!

Forget about their pawn Zourob, they cannot survive without federal boodle!

Flight glitch causes some delay as Australia's rejected 'refugees' head to US

More information about yesterday’s news.
Secrecy continues….

Which of these men is coming to your town?

manus-island-refugees-1-960x540
‘Refugees’ who attempted to break in to Australia were detained on Manus Island. Some are on flights to American towns and cities. Photo: https://thenewdaily.com.au/news/national/2017/11/13/manus-island-refugees-asylum-seekers/

Perhaps the most telling bit of this whole story at SBS News is the last line:

The transfers have been challenging for journalists to cover, with American, Australian and United Nations’ authorities refusing to confirm or deny the flights.

If this is such a good and humanitarian thing, why is it being kept from you?
We do, however, learn a few more nuggets from this latest report on the illegitimate ‘refugees.’
Besides one headed to Elizabeth, NJ, another young Muslim man (that Australia did not permit to come to its mainland) is headed to Knoxville, TN where he wants to study about human rights (will we see him out protesting Trump at the next election?).
Just what America needs more human rights agitators! Jobs Americans won’t do?

A transfer of about 40 refugees from Manus Island to the United States hit a road-bump in Manila on Tuesday afternoon when a number of men were unable to transfer to their flight to New York, SBS News has learned.

Organisers of the refugee transfer had given men tickets for a flight through Vancouver, but SBS News understands they were denied boarding because they did not have the required travel documents to transfer through Canada. Several of the men are stateless.

The men, who had been due to separate from the other refugees in Manila boarded the same flight to Los Angeles five hours later. The flight landed in LA at roughly 12:40pm Australian time.

The men, who have spent upwards of four years stranded in Papua New Guinea, will be settled in locations including Knoxville in Tennessee, Philadelphia in Pennsylvania, Elizabeth in New Jersey, Atlanta in Georgia and in North Carolina. Those transferring through New York will now arrive a day late.

[….]

Mushtaq Hussain, whose 22-year-old brother is part of the latest transfer, told SBS News his brother Sajid was ready to start a new life in Tennessee.

“He wants to study and work also, and he wants to see our parents because he was very young when he was locked in Manus Island,” the 29-year-old older brother said.

[Very young? He makes it sound like he was there as a tiny child. These latest illegal migrants detained on Manus have been there for a maximum of 5 years, so Mushtaq would have been 17. And, where are the parents, in Knoxville?—ed]

“He like human rights and maybe he will study about human rights.”  [Tell me why the younger brother couldn’t have joined his older brother in Indonesia instead of getting a ticket to America after trying to illegally break in to Australia?—ed]

Airfare ‘loans’

It is not clear if this special group of special people will have to reimburse US taxpayers for the cost of their airfare!
Readers need to know that ‘refugees’ are required to pay back the airfare, but they do it through the resettlement agency that then keeps a cut of what they extract from the refugees.
The US State Department refuses to reveal how many loans are repaid (see here).
So what is the penalty for not repaying the loan? They are told they will have a bad credit rating! No kidding, so some refugee from the third world who may not have seen toilets even is expected to be frightened in to paying because of threats of a bad credit score—-arghhhh!
SBS continues….

The US government usually requires refugees to repay the cost of their transfer once they are established in the United States, a request to confirm that this would also be the case for refugees under the Australian deal was not met with a response before publication.

After five years in the United States, refugees are eligible to apply for US citizenship.

Four federal resettlement contractors are named:

Upon landing at their final destinations, the men will be met by various American resettlement agencies, such as the Lutheran Immigration and Refugee Service, the Hebrew Immigrant Aid Society, the International Rescue Committee and the US Committee for Refugees and Immigrants.

The settlement agencies are contracted to provide 90 days of support for new arrivals, including registering for identification and employment services and assisting with access to healthcare and education. [Mental healthcare and WELFARE!—ed]

More here.

Readers you need to get this information out as far and wide as you can.

Taxpaying citizens would be furious if they even knew!
Maybe Trump had a legitimate reason to go along with this “dumb” and costly deal that Obama arranged as he was walking out the door. I don’t know, but I can’t imagine one because Australia needs us more than we need Australia.
This we know….
The Australia deal is so outrageous and so unheard-of even in the refugee world, that it adds another black spot to the whole secretive UN/US Refugee Admissions Program.
If I was working for a refugee contractor*** I would be shaking in my boots.  If just one of these guys (who will be in need of mental health treatment) goes off the rails and commits a violent crime or terrorist act it will be another (maybe final!) nail in the coffin for the program.
We will be watching!
Australia “dumb deal” archive is here.
*** Nine US refugee contractors that monopolize all resettlement in the US (Number in parenthesis is the percentage of their income they receive from you—the taxpayer—in a recent financial analysis.)

Refugee numbers down 70% under Trump

Michael Patrick Leahy, who obviously likes numbers and has the patience to pour over them, posted a piece yesterday at Breitbart showing, on a calendar year basis, how the Trump Administration stacks up to Obama’s big last year.
(Readers, there are two ways to analyze numbers available at Wrapsnet, the State Department data base on refugee arrivals. One can search by fiscal year or calendar year. I tend to use fiscal year because it is the method used for budget purposes, but here Leahy uses calendar year data which might be more useful to citizens who aren’t policy wonks!)
Leahy at Breitbart:

During his first full year in office, President Trump delivered on his campaign promise to limit refugee admissions to the United States from countries that are known hotbeds of terrorism.

Trump and Hillary
Leahy also tells us what might have been had Hillary been elected President!

Overall, refugee admissions during the 365 full days since his inauguration at noon on January 20, 2017 have declined by 70 percent from the previous complete calendar year under the Obama administration.

From January 21, 2017 to January 20, 2018 (Trump Calendar Year 2017), a total of 29,620 refugees have been admitted to the United States, according to the State Department’s wrapsnet.org website, the source of the refugee admissions data used in this story.

In contrast, from January 21, 2016 to January 20, 2017, the last full calendar year of the Obama administration (Obama Calendar Year 2016), a total of 98,898 refugees were admitted to the United States.

The most compelling aspect of the refugee arrival data for President Trump’s first full calendar year is the dramatic drop in refugee arrivals from the seven countries identified as terrorist hotbeds (Syria, Iraq, Somalia, Iran, Sudan, Yemen, and Libya) in Executive Order 13769 to whom the travel ban initially applied.

Continue reading here. There is much more for those of you not ‘numerophobic!’ Did you know there was such a word?

What happens when President Trump is no longer President?

This is all good, but reducing the numbers for a few years is not sufficient for the long haul.
I can’t emphasize enough that if the UN/US Refugee Admissions Program is not reformed (or killed outright) by Congress, by law!, before Trump is gone from office, nothing will have changed.  A new President, even a squishy Republican, will open the refugee admissions spigot and make up for lost time!
Sorry to say it for the umpteenth time, but, at minimum, if these nine federal contractors (acting as community agitators and activists while living off taxpayer dollars) are not removed from the system there will not be a long term fix.
(Number in parenthesis is the percentage of their income they receive from you—the taxpayer—in a recent financial analysis.)
