It has taken nearly 100 years, but the increasingly successful "Cultural Marxism" is responsible

We had a couple of good comments to our post over the weekend about ‘Ireland ‘welcoming’ Muslim ‘refugees,‘ and at the same time voting to make gay marriage legal in the heretofore largely Catholic country.

‘Cultural Marxism’ is succeeding in Ireland and America as it has seeped into every one of our institutions, most especially the churches

I  bet that even some of the leaders of the ‘church’ refugee resettlement agencies have no clue where all this came from and what they are doing to America.

So where are the Progressives condemning their brothers in arms, the Islamists? http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2913733/Thrown-roof-stoned-death-crucified-world-reacts-horror-terror-Europe-new-ISIS-executions-medieval-brutality-jihadists-bring-West.html

Here is one commenter (Jim) in response to my comment about the only weapon the other side has (and it keeps most good people at bay) are the words racist, xenophobic, Islamophobic etc. etc.  I said it is time, past time, to stop being frightened by words!
Jim (LOL!  I never heard the word “Progs” (short for Progressives) to describe the hard Left.  I like it!).  Comment to this post:

I just call them ‘euphemisms’ any more. I saw what I thought was a very good post about progressivism and its lust for the death of the West. PC was born in the Ivy League and Berkeley, spawned by the ’60s and ’70s radicals who decided to destroy the system from within. They are succeeding beyond their wildest dreams. Saul Alinsky was their Messiah and Chicago is their Bethlehem. Old news I know, but amazing. Robert Bork’s ‘Slouching Toward Gomorrah’ was spot on.

“Progs” have a strange affection for Islam. Islam is an enemy of much of what Progs hate about western civilization such as – Christianity (and now Judaism), capitalism, individualism, and constitutional limits on government. So they are fellow travelers in that regard. Of course Progs claim they are defenders of gays and women and minorities, but you notice they are willing to look the other way if it is Muslims doing the oppressing of gays and women. In fact they will actually criticize those same people and defend Muslims in those situations. It is not bizarre if you pretend to think like a Prog – in their world anything that destroys the “evil” which is western civilization is therefore good.

In that regard Progressivism is a religion. As has been said so many times before, you do not need a god for it to be a religion, all you need is a devil. The devil is “the west”.

I maintain that what happened in the ’60s and ’70s has roots that go farther back in our history.

The counter-culture of that period (’60s and ’70s) was one of the first visible signs that “Cultural Marxism” was succeeding.

Years ago, when we (here at RRW) discussed the election of Barack Obama as President of the United States, we wrote several posts about how the US got to this point in our history and we told you about this short description of “Cultural Marxism” by William S. Lind.  You must read the whole thing to better understand that for the revolution to succeed (in order for Marxism to succeed and destroy Capitalism) they needed first to destroy Western Civilization, the family and the church.
William Lind (emphasis is mine):

In his columns on the next conservatism, Paul Weyrich has several times referred to “cultural Marxism.” He asked me, as Free Congress Foundation’s resident historian, to write this column explaining what cultural Marxism is and where it came from. In order to understand what something is, you have to know its history.

When Hitler came to power, the Frankfort School moved to Columbia University in NYC, Barack Obama’s alma mater. https://www.marxists.org/subject/frankfurt-school/

Cultural Marxism is a branch of western Marxism, different from the Marxism-Leninism of the old Soviet Union. It is commonly known as “multiculturalism” or, less formally, Political Correctness. From its beginning, the promoters of cultural Marxism have known they could be more effective if they concealed the Marxist nature of their work, hence the use of terms such as “multiculturalism.”

Cultural Marxism began not in the 1960s but in 1919, immediately after World War I. Marxist theory had predicted that in the event of a big European war, the working class all over Europe would rise up to overthrow capitalism and create communism. But when war came in 1914, that did not happen. When it finally did happen in Russia in 1917, workers in other European countries did not support it. What had gone wrong?

Independently, two Marxist theorists, Antonio Gramsci in Italy and Georg Lukacs in Hungary, came to the same answer: Western culture and the Christian religion had so blinded the working class to its true, Marxist class interest that Communism was impossible in the West until both could be destroyed. In 1919, Lukacs asked, “Who will save us from Western civilization?” That same year, when he became Deputy Commissar for Culture in the short-lived Bolshevik Bela Kun government in Hungary, one of Lukacs’s first acts was to introduce sex education into Hungary’s public schools. He knew that if he could destroy the West’s traditional sexual morals, he would have taken a giant step toward destroying Western culture itself.

In 1923, inspired in part by Lukacs, a group of German Marxists established a think tank at Frankfurt University in Germany called the Institute for Social Research. This institute, soon known simply as the Frankfurt School, would become the creator of cultural Marxism.

To translate Marxism from economic into cultural terms, the members of the Frankfurt School – – Max Horkheimer, Theodor Adorno, Wilhelm Reich, Eric Fromm and Herbert Marcuse, to name the most important – – had to contradict Marx on several points. They argued that culture was not just part of what Marx had called society’s “superstructure,” but an independent and very important variable. They also said that the working class would not lead a Marxist revolution, because it was becoming part of the middle class, the hated bourgeoisie.  [I believe that the reason the Left is pouring immigrants into America is because the US working class is generally moving up in society and they need a constant infusion of poor people to keep the pressure on.—ed]

Who would? In the 1950s, Marcuse answered the question: a coalition of blacks, students, feminist women and homosexuals.

The modern-day ‘brains’ behind ‘Cultural Marxism’ (including Barack Hussein Obama) have simply added immigrants, especially Muslim immigrants, to the list of those who would help bring down Western Civilization.  But, of course, I think they have a tiger by the tail and the minute the Islamists gain enough power they will rise up and destroy the pandering Left first.  Some of my friends believe the Communists will control the Islamists.  I don’t.
Lind concludes:

The next conservatism should unmask multiculturalism and Political Correctness and tell the American people what they really are: cultural Marxism. Its goal remains what Lukacs and Gramsci set in 1919: destroying Western culture and the Christian religion. It has already made vast strides toward that goal. But if the average American found out that Political Correctness is a form of Marxism, different from the Marxism of the Soviet Union but Marxism nonetheless, it would be in trouble. The next conservatism needs to reveal the man behind the curtain – – old Karl Marx himself.

There is no sense dwelling on it, and yakking about it!  It is important to know history, but now back to work exposing the specific details about how the “Progs,” the Marxists, are working day and night to destroy your family, your church and Western Civilization and how you might stop it!

Rohingya Muslims are definitely being brought to American towns

We’ve suspected that the UN High Commissioner for Refugees and the US State Department are working to bring Rohingya boat people, who arrive illegally in Indonesia, Malaysia and Thailand to America, but yesterday we learned that 1,000 of them have come recently.

A Rohingya-packed boat adrift in Thai waters last week. The breakdown of borders is happening all over the world.

This is what we reported earlier in the week:

How many Burmese refugees are we taking?

The mostly Christian Burmese are one of the largest (if not the largest) ethnic group of refugees we have resettled since 2005 (I checked the data from January 2005 until May 1, 2015).

This is what I learned:  We resettled 140,812 Burmese refugees since 2005.

This surprised me:  In that number were 12,615 Burmese Muslims!  The word Rohingya is not used, but most certainly the Rohingya represent a large portion (if not all) of that number.

According to activists, the UN is not moving the Burmese Muslims out to third countries fast enough!  And, there are 45,000 of them registered with the UN and expecting to be moved to the West.

Here is what we just learned, from the Borneo Post:

ALOR SETAR: A Rohingya welfare body in Malaysia is pressuring the United Nations (UN) to expedite re-settlement of Rohingya refugees to third countries.

Rohingya Society in Malaysia (RSM) chairman Dr Abdul Hamid Musa Ali said as of today, about 2,000 of the tens of thousands of Rohingya refugees residing in the country had been successfully placed in several third countries.

He said the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) should play a role in safeguarding the welfare of Rohingya refugees in Malaysia.

“It is very disappointing as many questions are being raised on how just only 2,000 Rohingya refugees have been successfully relocated to third countries, from about 45,000 refugees registered with the UNHCR.

“This does not include the 60,000 to 70,000 Rohingya immigrants in Malaysia who are still not registered with the UN agency for refugees until now,” he told Bernama here today.

Abdul Hami, who is a Rohingya refugee and UNHCR card holder, said until today, just over 1,000 Rohingya refugees were re-settled in the United States, and the rest in several European countries.

There will be a regional summit on May 29th in Bangkok, Thailand in order to try to figure out what to do for the thousands of boat people arriving from Burma (Myanmar) and Bangladesh.  Be sure to watch the film clip here and see that one refugee says—THEY ARE LOOKING FOR A MUSLIM COUNTRY IN WHICH TO LIVE.  That is great!  There are many to choose from (including Indonesia, Malaysia and heh! how about Saudi Arabia?).
Get used to that ‘R’ word—Rohingya—listen to pronunciation here.
It appears that the PR push is on and that as we express our concerns about Syrian refugees arriving in the US in large numbers, the Rohingya are being quietly resettled here along with the thousands of Iraqi and Somali Muslims each year.
See our Rohingya Reports category here (it includes 177 posts and extends back almost 8 years).  Here is one post from 2008 where we said that as early as 2002, Time Magazine linked Rohingya refugees to Islamic terrorist groups.  You might be interested to see this post as well.  In 2012 a reader alerted us to the fact that the US State Department had removed from a terror watch list a group linked to Rohingya.
The next time you hear one of your friends or some dumb politician say that ‘LEGAL immigration is good,’ remember that this is legal!

Ireland taking in more Rohingya Muslims; Syrians too

The Irish Times has published one of those touchy-feely articles about how the Rohingya, who have already arrived in Ireland, are faring.  Articles like this one are meant to ‘educate’ readers in advance of a new wave of Muslim migrants coming in from countries where warring factions are producing ‘refugees’ by the millions.

Changing Ireland! The Islamic Cultural Center of Ireland was “funded by the al-Maktoum Foundation of Dubai and has a Sunni orientation. It was officially opened in 1996 by President Mary Robinson and Sheikh Hamdan Al Maktoum.” http://curiousireland.ie/islamic-cultural-centre-of-ireland/

We are told that Ireland had some problems (the Times calls them “hiccups”) with Muslim teenaged boys and young men who didn’t want to stay in school, but that generally the Rohingya are doing well.  However, they aren’t happy with the modest mosque they found in their new town:

There were other problems. Assured that by the Irish authorities that Carlow had a mosque, and imagining a full minaret, the new families arrived to find just a house used by the town’s tiny Muslim population. For orthodox Sunnis who had escaped religious persecution in Burma it was a disappointment. They now worship at an apartment in the town.

Rest assured, as more arrive from throughout Asia and the Middle East, some rich country (United Arab Emirates? Saudi Arabia?) will build them a lovely mosque.  The mosque will then draw in more Muslims (take note Carlow!).
You can read the whole article here.
The Irish Times does admit this:

Some aren’t so sympathetic. This week an Irish Times poll found that 52 per cent of Irish people are against taking in fleeing Mediterranean migrants.

And, see this one from earlier in the week about the next batch of mostly Muslim refugees on the way.
But, at the end of the story published today, there is a useful summary of where Ireland stands now with the arrival of migrants (thanks to the UN High Commissioner for Refugees) as part of the ‘Invasion of Europe.’

Ireland is one of only 30 states that take part in the refugee resettlement scheme, a United Nations programme.

Since it began here, 15 years ago, 1,198 programme refugees, from 27 countries, have been resettled in Ireland.

The UN declares them refugees before they arrive in Ireland, and they do not go through the direct-provision system for asylum seekers.

Three hundred refugees are due to come to Ireland under a new EU scheme. Civil war in Syria and the large numbers of migrants trying to cross the Mediterranean in dangerous boats have made the need even more pressing.

Buddhist monks want to keep the OIC (Organization of Islamic Cooperation) out of Burma (Myanmar) as it tries to insert itself into the Rohingya controversy there. The OIC has great influence in the United Nations which is picking most of Ireland’s refugees.

In 1999, Ireland agreed to take 1,000 Kosovan refugees; they were resettled in Millstreet, Co Cork; Killarney; Waterford; and Wexford. Many later returned home.

In 2006, 180 Iranian Kurds who had been living in refugee camps in Jordan for 25 years were resettled in Carrick-on-Shannon and Dublin under a UNHCR programme.

In 2007, 100 Burmese Karen people were resettled in Ballina and Castlebar, after coming from Thailand under the UNHCR programme.

In 2008, 71 Sudanese were resettled in Kilkenny city, after transferring from Uganda, also under the UNHCR.

In 2009, 13 Burmese Rohingya families – 64 people in all – were resettled in Carlow town from Bangladesh, under the auspices of the UNHCR.

In 2013, 31 Afghans and four Iraqi Palestinians were admitted from Syria.

In 2014, 90 Syrian refugees fleeing their country’s civil war were resettled from Lebanon with relatives and friends around the country.

This year, 13 Syrian refugees of a projected 100 have arrived; 120 more people, also mainly Syrian, are due next year.

Ireland has separately agreed to admit 114 other refugees under a Syrian humanitarian admission programme.

See our entire ‘Invasion of Europe’ archive by clicking here.
Also, for more on Rohingya then you ever wanted to know, see our Rohingya category here with 176 previous posts.  There is a newly energized push to get Rohingya Muslims moved to first-world countries.
Every time I see one of these articles about the “persecuted” Rohingya without any mention of the atrocities perpetrated by the Rohingya against the Buddhist Burmese, my blood boils.  I have followed the issue in Burma and Bangladesh for years and know that the Rohingya are not pure-as-the-driven-snow and have been Islamist supremacist agitators and killed many Burmese, but that is NEVER mentioned by the likes of the Irish Times!
To my Irish friends:  See this youtube clip about this blog and how I got into all of this…..it is now over a half a million views!

House Homeland Security Chairman: Syrian refugees could be "jihadi pipeline" to America

Well, we didn’t get the House Homeland Security Subcommittee hearing we were hoping for today, but the Chairman of the full committee, Rep. Michael McCaul, made news answering questions at a press breakfast this morning.

McCaul: Resettling Syrians now is a serious mistake.

From The Hill (hat tip: The Flying Camel):

The head of the House Homeland Security Committee says an Obama administration plan to resettle Syrian refugees in the U.S. is a “serious mistake” and should be stopped until safeguards are in place.

“We have no way… to know who these people are and so I think bringing them in is a serious mistake,” Chairman Michael McCaul (R-Texas) said during a Christian Science Monitor breakfast on Thursday.

McCaul said the U.S. has “no intelligence footprint or capability” inside Syria to ensure refugees mean no harm.

“We don’t have databases on these individuals so we can’t properly vet them,” he added, “to know where they came from, to know what threat they pose, because we don’t have the data to cross-reference them with.”

McCaul, who has visited Syrian refugee camps overseas, said that while there are “a lot of mothers and kids, there are [also] a lot of males of the age that could conduct terrorist operations.”

“That concerns me,” he added.

The U.S. could resettle around 2,000 Syrian refugees this fiscal year and potentially thousands more in fiscal 2016 under the State Department-led effort. The Department of Homeland Security has authority to approve the admissions.

McCaul first raised concerns about the effort in January during a panel hearing, saying the administration is creating a “federally funded jihadi pipeline” into the U.S.

U.S. intelligence officials have expressed reservations about the program and lawmakers, including Rep. Trey Gowdy (R-S.C.), whose district could absorb some of the refugees, are pressing to have the effort halted.

McCaul said the program has created a “split” in the administration between the State Department and others agencies like the FBI, which is “saying this is a really bad idea from a security standpoint.”

Apparently McCaul went on to say that he couldn’t imagine any community would want to welcome this right now.

However….

…..does the Congressman know that, as the number one resettlement state in the country, Texas has received 100 of them as of May first, trailing only California by three (CA received 103).

And, just remember readers! one of the leading US refugee resettlement contractor CEO’s (Brit David Miliband, brother to ‘Red Ed’) is demanding that Obama admit 65,000 Syrians by the end of his term in office.
Be sure to let your member of Congress know how you feel about Syrian refugees coming to your town!

Homeland Security Subcommittee hearing on Syrian refugee security concerns postponed

Richard and Guterres
Asst. Sec. of State for PRM Anne Richard (left) and UNHCR Antonio Guterres want to send 11,000 Syrians to your towns and cities this year.

I am not surprised.

This is one of the hottest national security issues we have going right now—the question of whether we should be admitting the 11,000 Syrian refugees the UN has picked out for us without jeopardizing our safety!

A reader just sent us the postponement notice for a hearing we were anxious to see tomorrow. I’ve gotten pretty cynical, so wonder if someone got to the chairman?

Here is the announcement.

If you were planning on contacting your member of Congress on this, please still do so!

Breaking news:  Man arrested in Italy is believed to be responsible for the deadly Tunisian museum attack.  He got into Europe pretending to be a REFUGEE.
P.S. to the Michigan group I spoke with last night!  I have not forgotten!  I do plan to post the Michigan data, but have run out of time this morning!
