Did you see this? Muslim Brotherhood launches US political party

March launch of the new Muslim Brotherhood party in Washington. http://www.religionnews.com/2014/03/14/new-organization-unites-american-muslims-one-coalition/

It actually was launched last month, but I saw it this week when Investor’s Business Daily published a hard-hitting opinion piece.

What is the most important thing they need to be successful?  Numbers!   How are they getting their numbers?  Immigration, of course, and refugees represent the greatest stream of new Muslim voters into the US.

There may, however, be a little bit of silver lining to this news.  Perhaps Grover Norquist and Suhail Khan might work through the new party and stop trying to subvert the Republican Party.

The Islamists will have their own party!  Their goals would be out in the open.

IBD:

Islamofascism: With an eye toward the 2016 election, the radical Muslim Brotherhood has built the framework for a political party in America that seeks to turn Muslims into an Islamist voting bloc.

‘Muslim voters have the potential to be swing voters in 2016,” said Nihad Awad in launching the benign-sounding U.S. Council of Muslim Organizations, whose membership reads like a Who’s Who of Brotherhood front groups.

“We are aiming to bring more participation from the Muslim community.”

USCMO also aims to elect Islamists in Washington, with the ultimate objective of “institutionalizing policies” favorable to Islamists — that is, Shariah law.

This development bears careful monitoring in light of the U.S. Brotherhood’s recently exposed goal to wage a “civilization jihad” against America that explicitly calls for infiltrating the U.S. political system and “destroying (it) from within.”

A Trojan horse!

Front and center is the Washington-based Council on American-Islamic Relations, the catalyst behind this Trojan horse jihadist political party.

Speaking of Trojan horses, this is a very good time for you to read or re-read”The Modern Day Trojan Horse:  Al-Hijra, the Islamic Doctrine of Immigration.’

Hendi gets an award from FBI director in 2008! http://www.fbi.gov/about-us/partnerships_and_outreach/community_outreach/dcla/2008/baltimore08

Do you remember Yahya Hendi?

If you do, you have been with RRW since our first summer in 2007.

We wrote about him here.  He is (was?) an Imam in Frederick, Maryland and the Muslim chaplain at Georgetown who traveled to Saudi Arabia to report that he predicted that by 2015 there would be 30 Muslim mayors in America.  Of course his time-table is way off, but nonetheless, he revealed the aim.  He said there weren’t enough converts to get the number of voters needed, so what else is there—immigration!

As I have mentioned many times regarding this 30 Muslim mayors comment, can you imagine the uproar if someone said, ‘we want 30 Jewish mayors, or 30 Catholic (any religion) mayors heading US cities.’  There was never a peep about Hendi’s stated goal.

Photo above:  That is Nihad Awad (CAIR director) standing behind the new head honcho, Oussama Jammal, of the US Council of Muslim Organizations.

We have a lengthy archive on CAIR, here.  They are heavily involved with issues relating to refugees, especially with the Somalis.   And, they were a key player in the hate crime hoax in El Cajon we mentioned here yesterday.

***Update***  Ladies! Let’s have a laugh at CAIR!  Here!

Kentucky: Somalis file discrimination complaints (again) over prayer in the workplace…

….with the help of CAIR of course.

Mohamed Maow

Frankly, I don’t have a lot of sympathy for the employer—DHL Global Mail—since they were apparently unaware of the Somali penchant for setting up such claims against employers once enough of them were hired to make an impact on the workplace.  Don’t DHL head-honchos read RRW?

From USA Today:

CINCINNATI — For more than three years, Mohamed Maow worked at DHL Global Mail in Hebron, Ky. He said he earned $11.57 an hour to sort mail and was paid time-and-a-half for overtime.

Maow, 27, a refugee from Somalia who came to the U.S. in 2007, said he never received any negative comments about his performance.

Yet on Oct. 9, after he said DHL supervisors reversed a policy of flexible break times that allowed Maow and fellow Somalis time to pray, he was among two dozen Muslims fired for stopping to say five-minute evening prayers required by their religious beliefs.

What a surprise!  CAIR Ohio comes to the rescue!

Maow’s is one of 11 complaints filed with the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission – of an expected 24 total – that allege DHL Global Mail fired a group of Somali Muslims for exercising their legally protected religious rights.

The Ohio chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) has filed the EEOC complaints on behalf of the fired workers.

“We are requesting all available remedies allowed under Title VII (of the federal Civil Rights Act of 1964) and the Kentucky Civil Rights Act, including but not limited to: damages, reinstatement where appropriate and policy changes to ensure that all worker’s civil rights are respected,” said Booker Washington, CAIR staff attorney. The article goes on to say that about 400 Somalis have moved into Erlanger (the friendship city!) and Florence, Kentucky.

Just a reminder, 7,608 new Somali refugees were resettled in the US in FY2013, here.

Man dressed as Somali woman Target employee might be a police officer

This is a weird story and I expect there will be some explanation forthcoming, but it didn’t stop CAIR and Somali mouthpiece, Omar Jamal, from demanding more sensitivity training at the St. Paul PD.

Police Chief:  Diversity is one of the greatest strengths of the city of St. Paul!

Here is the story from TwinCities.com (hat tip: Megan):

A man seen in a photograph dressed as a female Muslim Target employee is a St. Paul police officer who worked off-duty at a St. Paul store, police and Target Corp. said Monday, Feb. 4.

Mukhtar Ibrahim directed a Tweet to the official St. Paul police Twitter account at 7:55 p.m. Sunday: “Can u pls verify if this man mocking Somali women employees at Target is one of your officers?” Ibrahim, who used to live in St. Paul, is a Washington, D.C.-based journalist.

Ibrahim received a reply from the St. Paul police Twitter account at 8:35 a.m. Monday: “SPPD wants to thx u for bring this to our att. We take this seriously&are investigating.”

Police Chief Thomas Smith said in a statement Monday, “After an image was brought to my attention this morning, I ordered an immediate investigation to determine all of the facts surrounding it. The St. Paul police department has worked hard to establish a strong and respectful relationship with our Muslim communities, and I will not allow these types of images to erode that relationship. Diversity is one of the greatest strengths of the city of St. Paul, and we expect each one of our officers to respect and take pride in serving each of our diverse communities.”

CAIR: “more diversity training” needed!  It sure sounds like they have that police chief well-trained!

Lori Saroya, executive director of the Council on American-Islamic Relations’ Minnesota chapter, said her organization has good relationships with the St. Paul and Minneapolis police departments, but if the photo does show a St. Paul police officer, she thinks that individual needs more diversity training to “help eliminate anti-Muslim stereotypes and prejudice.”

Omar Jamal:  “additional sensitivity training” needed!

Omar Jamal, first secretary of the Somali Mission to the United Nations, wrote in an email Monday, “This is a clear indication that police should have additional sensitivity training about the community, culture and religion.”

Wouldn’t you think Jamal, the ‘Somali Jesse Jackson,’ has enough to keep him busy at the UN?  See our dozens of posts on Jamal here.

For new readers:  This 2011 post, “Why so many Somalis in Minneapolis?”, is almost daily one of our top most-read posts.  I see today it is number one.

Busy in Maryland….

Here is where I’ve been ….

Maryland Conservative Action Network Conference largest ever.

…..Presence of anti-jihad leader and defender of free speech, Pamela Geller, helped swell the size of the audience.

MD CAN organizers were delighted with the record-breaking turnout at Saturday’s Turning the Tides Conference 2013.   The number of attendees topped 270 with last minute registrants who heard about the fuss the Council on American-Islamic Relations was making to try to stop Geller’s appearance and to bully other speakers to back out of speaking and not take part.  (No one backed out!).

Read it all.

And, now I want to get back to my favorite work—writing here about LEGAL immigration gone awry.
