Georgia Somali flag-attack story begs the question: why are we admitting refugees with serious mental illness?

This is an update at World Net Daily on the story about the wild Somali woman who entered a suburban yard and attacked the home owner with the home owner’s flagpole.  See our previous story.
The FBI is not charging the attacker with a hate crime because they say she is mentally impaired.

Amina Ali Ahra
Amina Ali Ahra (burqa obviously removed for mug shot)

If mentally impaired, the case demonstrates what happens as we resettle (dangerous!) refugees into the US with expensive-to-treat health problems, including mental health problems.
Leo Hohmann writing at World Net Daily:

The FBI has determined that no hate crime occurred on the day after Memorial Day in Lawrenceville, Georgia, when a Muslim woman dressed in a burqa came out of the woods behind a homeowner’s house, grabbed the family’s large American flag and attacked them with it.

The FBI was asked by local police to investigate whether Amina Ali Ahra, 30, may have committed a hate crime when she attacked homeowner Dami Arno and her 17-year-old daughter while the two were drinking coffee in their garage on the morning of Tuesday, May 31.

Ahra grabbed the family’s large flag off their mailbox and used the 4-foot long pole made of PVC pipe as a weapon, swinging it wildly at Arno’s head. The 42-year-old fought off the much larger Ahra and two neighbors helped restrain her until police arrived. At one point during the attack Arno’s 14-year-old son emerged from the house with the family pistol and pointed it at the woman assaulting his mother but did not fire a shot.

A federal law enforcement official told WND that Ahra has been determined to have mental health issues, which would make it unlikely for federal prosecutors to charge her with a hate crime.

“But if you want an example of someone who is radicalized you can’t get a better one than someone walking up and grabbing someone’s American flag and beating them with it,” said the official, who asked not to be identified.

Local police Chief Randy Johnson told WND that his department referred the case to the FBI.

But the agent assigned to the case never took the time to interview the Arno family or any of the other eyewitnesses to the attack.

“The FBI agent, Chuck Campo, never contacted our family. We finally reached him and he told us there was no hate crime and I am not entitled to any information on this woman who attacked me in my own home,” Arno said. “He wouldn’t even tell us whether or not she was legally here in this country.”

Keep it up FBI, the public is already suspicious because of your mishandling of the Orlando killer case!
Needless to say, the victim and her family are not happy.  Continue reading here.

Obama adding "bandwidth" to refugee admissions program (or big embarrassment at UN in September!)

What the heck does bandwidth mean?
The only thing I can assume is just what we have been saying, the refugee resettlement industry is working overtime to find new unsuspecting towns in which to place the mostly Muslim Syrians that Obama has promised to seed throughout America by September 30th (the last day of the fiscal year).  (Rutland, VT, Reno, NV, Missoula, MT, Fayetteville, AR and Ithaca, NY among others.)
Apparently the word “bandwith” came up in a discussion with reporters on Air Force One.

Obama at UN
Obama: Mr. Moon sir, we are trying our darnedest to get those Syrians distributed around the US by September, but that bad ol’ Trump keeps getting in the way and the FBI is making things difficult too!

From World Bulletin:

The U.S. is trying to “add bandwidth” to its efforts to resettle Syrian refugees, the White House said Wednesday.

President Barack Obama has said the ramped-up effort need to be done “without taking any shortcuts on security,” his spokesman Josh Earnest told reporters aboard Air Force One.

Obama pledged last year to resettle 10,000 Syrian refugees by the end of September, but so far only about 2,500 have been admitted. That has cast doubts on Washington’s ability to meet the relatively modest goal.

Obama has spoken passionately about the need to take in those fleeing violence and persecution abroad amidst a continued refugee crisis, fueled largely by Syria’s ongoing conflict.

But his efforts have been bogged down by bureaucratic security checks that are carried out across several U.S. agencies.

Then there is a jab at Donald Trump’s rhetoric and how it is partially to blame, which makes me laugh.  If Trump-talk now is slowing the colonization of America with Muslim ‘refugees’ just imagine what he could do if he gets to the White House.
Now here comes the juiciest bit of news in this story:

If Obama is unable to meet the goal, it could set the stage for a potentially embarrassing scenario when he hosts a summit on refugees on the sidelines of the U.N. General Assembly meeting in September.

Love it!
We told you about the fact that Obama won’t look good at the UN in September, see here last month, if he doesn’t deliver the 10,000 Syrians to  your towns.

FBI Director James Comey says it again: They cannot screen Syrian refugees entering the US

FBI comey
FBI Director Comey: Syrian refugees cannot be thoroughly screened. Trey Gowdy are you listening?

This time he says it before the House Homeland Security Committee in a hearing yesterday, here.
Which reminds me—whatever happened to the House Judiciary Committee hearing oversight hearing on the Refugee Admissions Program that had been planned for a couple of weeks ago and abruptly postponed.  Did they chicken out?
Or are they now waiting for instructions from Rep. Paul Ryan who will be a disaster for us if elected Speaker?
When Rep. Trey Gowdy (chairman of the subcommittee responsible for the refugee program) gets past his big Hillary hearing today, he needs to turn his attention to the issue that will have a much greater impact on us than Hillary and Benghazi—that is changing America demographically forever!
Here is the Daily Caller on what Director Comey said yesterday:

FBI director James Comey said during a House Committee on Homeland Security hearing on Wednesday that the federal government does not have the ability to conduct thorough background checks on all of the 10,000 Syrian refugees that the Obama administration says will be allowed to come to the U.S.

“We can only query against that which we have collected,” Comey said in response to a line of questioning from Mississippi Rep. Bennie Thompson .

“And so if someone has never made a ripple in the pond in Syria in a way that would get their identity or their interest reflected in our database, we can query our database until the cows come home, but there will be nothing show up because we have no record of them.”

FBI Director confirms (again) that they can't thoroughly screen Syrians entering the US

Update:  97% of the Syrians we admitted to the US in FY2015 are Muslims chosen by the UN, here.
This time it is not a lower level official from the FBI, but the Director himself who testified to Congress two days ago that they cannot guarantee Islamic terrorists won’t get into the US in the Syrian flow that is about to start in earnest as we speak (FY 2016 began October 1).

comey
FBI Director Comey: No data means we can’t crosscheck all the refugees entering the US.

And, for those who doubt me, there is further confirmation in this news account at The Hill that the UNITED NATIONS is choosing the Syrians for us!  And, because the UNHCR is choosing them, we are already getting a vast majority of Syrian Muslims and not Christians!

Federal officials say “gaps” remain in their ability to screen Syrian refugees headed into the country, even as their ability to check incoming migrants has improved.

During a Senate Homeland Security Committee hearing on Thursday, FBI Director James Comey sounded a cautious note that is likely to be picked up by critics of the White House’s plan to welcome more refugees into the U.S.

“My concern there is there are certain gaps … in the data available to us,” Comey said.

“There is risk associated of bringing anybody in from the outside, but specifically from a conflict zone like that,” he added.
“There is no such thing as a no-risk enterprise and there are deficits that we face.”

In particular, the lack of solid on-the-ground intelligence assets in Syria has clouded the U.S.’s ability to crosscheck the backgrounds of every refugee hoping to come to the U.S., Comey and other national security officials told the Senate panel.

[….]

Obama administration officials have insisted that the vetting will be thorough, despite concerns about the lack of intelligence.

Any refugees headed to American shores would first be recommended by the United Nations, the Obama administration has said, and then meticulously screened by various U.S. agencies.  [They have not been able to say how they could possibly be “meticulously” screened—ed].

Is FBI attempting to chill free speech with report that reads like it was authored by the Southern Poverty Law Center?

World Net Daily writer Leo Hohmann (who has written extensively on the Refugee Program) reports on a document that the FBI will not deny is theirs.
The gist of it is that the FBI is watching militia groups they claim are anti-Islam and asserts that the groups are getting their inspiration from World Net Daily, the Blaze, Fox News and Pamela Geller among others.  Below we have snipped a bit of Hohmann’s report.

FBI
Is Obama’s FBI chilling free speech with report?

But, first a suggestion from a political observer to me:

This appears to be a free-political-speech threat.

Grassley (Senate Judiciary) or Goodlatte (House Judiciary) should open an investigatory hearing on this “intelligence bulletin”, swear all the administration witnesses, ask who directed such instructions, and at least publish a report or a staff study on their findings.

Here is World Net Daily (ignore the confusing headline) on the astounding “intelligence bulletin:”

Just three weeks after ISIS attacked a Muhammad cartoonist event in Garland, Texas, the FBI began circulating an intelligence bulletin that alerts state, federal and local law enforcement about the likelihood of attacks against Muslims by “militia extremists.”

The bulletin, marked “sensitive” and not for distribution without FBI authorization, cites evidence gathered since 2013 that American militia groups are planning attacks on mosques, Islamic centers and possibly individual Muslims.

The document is dated May 28, 2015, and was leaked to Public Intelligence, an online information site committed to exposing government secrets and data. Public Intelligence posted the document on its site Aug. 18.

Named in the bulletin as news sites that provide information that supposedly fuels the militia groups were WND.com, Fox News, the Blaze, Western Journalism Center, Patriot Newswire and Pamela Geller’s blog, AtlasShrugs.com.

[….]

The FBI concludes that there are “salient perceptions within militia extremism that contribute toward an anti-Muslim bias.” The FBI says such “bias” against Islam is based on the following beliefs among the “extremists”:

~“Islam represents a foreign threat, equivalent to those which emanate from illegal immigration or international terrorism.

~“The President of the United States not only sympathizes with Islamic extremists but directs U.S. Government policy to align with their goals.”

[….]

WND contacted the FBI with several questions about the bulletin and got the following response from Joshua Campbell, supervisory special agent of the FBI office of public affairs.

“Unfortunately, we are unable to provide any information on the authenticity or contents of the referenced document. Our standard practice is to neither confirm or deny investigations or comment on bulletins provided to law enforcement partners.”

One of the questions WND asked was if he FBI had documented any actual militia attacks on Muslims over the past seven years.

None, I am sure, or it would have been all over the news.
Go to WND to read what some of those fingered by the FBI have to say.
