By the way, if you are a new reader and wonder why there is a huge migrant camp packed with Middle Easterners and Africans at Calais, those are all supposed ‘asylum seekers’ who aren’t asking for asylum in France because they want asylum in the UK where they think the welfare goodies are better. Fire has reportedly broken out at the ‘jungle’ refugee camp in the port of Calais in the hours following the terror attacks in Paris.
At around 11pm volunteers at the camp began sharing pictures of the blaze on social media.
And soon after an anti-migrant group known as ‘The Angry of Calais’ posted videos of the inferno on Facebook.
One video appears to show emergency services vehicles arriving at the camp, which houses around 6,000 migrants – mainly young men from Syria and North Africa.

Europe is reaping the whirlwind now because they “welcomed” the invaders for decades and ironically France has moved quickly to close its borders tonight (too late!). Are we going to wake up now?

German Chancellor Angela Merkel harangues German citizens concerned about the future of their culture and country and socialist French President Francois Hollande says ‘golly gee, guess we better do something.’ What the heck! They have been doing nothing to stop the tide of illegal aliens (mostly Muslims from Africa and the Middle East) in to Europe and they wonder why this crisis is escalating! Don’t count on Merkel and Hollande to save Europe! Stop the (damn) boats! They should have listened to Australian Prime Minister Tony Abbott months ago. I personally think it is too late now!

German Chancellor Angela Merkel and French President Francois Hollande condemned anti-immigrant riots in Germany, while pressing all European Union countries to help deal with the continent’s tide of refugees.
Meeting for the first time after the political summer break, the leaders of Europe’s two biggest economies elevated the refugee crisis to a top priority Monday, placing it alongside challenges such as the conflict in Ukraine.
“There are moments in European history when we face exceptional circumstances, and these are exceptional circumstances that will last,” Hollande said alongside Merkel before they met for talks in Berlin. “So rather than wait and then cope on a day-to-day basis, we must get organized and strengthen our policies.”

You have probably seen all of the news this week from Calais, France where illegal aliens who got into Europe elsewhere are piled up looking to get into the UK where they think they will get the most social service benefits. BTW, legitimate asylum seekers are supposed to ask for asylum in the first safe country in which they arrive. Asylum shopping is what is happening here.

After thousands of migrants made repeated attempts to storm the Channel Tunnel that connects the French port of Calais with Britain this week, politicians and newspapers in the country have begun talking tough. Whether British authorities can match the determination of migrants, many of whom have endured dangerous, months-long journeys in their quest to reach England, however, remains uncertain.
Over 3,500 attempts have been made by migrants, many of whom are from countries in Africa, the Middle East and central Asia, to enter the tunnel this week. The deployment of French riot police, armed with pepper spray, dogs and batons, has not succeeded in stopping the attempts, though on Wednesday, the latest day for which data is available, only 300 people were reported to have tried to access the tunnel, down from 1,500 each of the previous two nights.
A Sudanese man died on Wednesday, after being hit by a truck that transports vehicles through the tunnel, French police said, according to Reuters. French media said he was the ninth migrant to be killed in the crisis since early June.
Prime Minister David Cameron warned migrants Thursday that the U.K. was “no safe haven,” for them, adding that illegal immigrants would be removed from the country. Earlier in the week, he described the thousands of migrants gathered in Calais as a “swarm,” prompting angry condemnation from rights groups and opposition politicians.

The illegal migrants piling up at Calais, France (click here for our archive) are stepping up their aggressive efforts to break into the UK. So in wake of the Tunisian slaughter, the British government plans to build a high fence at the truck terminal there to thwart those who might hide on trucks bound for the UK fearing, of course, that terrorists are among the phony asylum seekers.

Britain is to build more than two miles of high-security fencing at the Channel Tunnel port in northern France, in an attempt to stop thousands of illegal migrants breaking into lorries bound for the UK.
James Brokenshire, the Immigration Minister, told the Telegraph he was taking action after a surge in the number of “clandestines” storming the border in the Calais area last week.
He announced plans to protect the lorry terminal in Coquelles, near Calais, with nine-foot high police barrier that has previously been used to secure the London Olympics and last year’s Nato summit in Wales.
The minister will also hold urgent talks this week with the European Commission and haulage firms in an effort to force foreign lorry companies to improve the security of their vehicles.
Speaking on Saturday, as the scale of the Tunisia beach massacre became clear, he warned there was a risk that foreign jihadists could try to enter Britain with some of the 3,000 migrants at Calais.
The action comes after hundreds of illegal migrants tried to break through controls at Calais and Coquelles last week.A strike by French ferry workers caused mayhem in the area, bringing traffic to a standstill and allowing hundreds of migrants to try to break into vehicles.
