Invasion of Europe news: "Bloody pitched battle" in Calais migrant camp

We’ve written often about the port city of Calais, France where illegal migrants from Africa and the Middle East are piling up in hopes of illegally entering the UK where they expect to get welfare goodies gratis of the Brits.
Remember!   If they are legitimate asylum seekers they are required to apply for asylum in the first safe country they reach—in France or wherever they first landed in Europe.  Instead thousands of them make their way to Calais and some are successful in getting across the English Channel and reaching their Nirvana.
This is not the first time violence has broken out between ethnic groups and with the police.  See our Calais archive by clicking here.

Witnesses said that groups of Eritrean and Sudanese men fought each other with knives, stones and metal bars in the most alarming incident since the camp was opened by the French government two months ago. http://www.thetimes.co.uk/tto/news/world/europe/article4457539.ece

From the UK Express (hat tip: Joanne).  Be sure to visit the article because there is more with lots of photos.

Twenty-four migrants were seriously injured and many more hurt during the bloody pitched battle, which raged for more than six hours before the gangs were dispersed by heavily armed riot police.

Witnesses reported that knives, metal bars and wooden truncheons were used by the two rival factions, who also set fire to several huts at a notorious migrant camp dubbed ‘The New Jungle’.

The gangs, one made up of Eritreans and the other Sudanese, reportedly clashed after a row over access to the best ferry smuggling routes to England boiled over.

Calais-based newspaper Nord Littoral dubbed the brawl a “night of violence” and reported that the vicious fight lasted from midnight until around 6am this morning.

Two squads of France’s fearsome CRS riot police rushed to the scene, close to the town’s Jules Ferry Centre, where a vast illegal camp stretches across sand dunes into the port town.

Calais Mayor Natasha Bouchart: It is all the Brits’ fault!

The horrific brawl was the second serious disturbance at the notorious migrant camp in a matter of days.

[….]

News of the mass outbreak of violence comes just a week after it emerged that British lorry drivers are boycotting Calais because they fear “somebody will be killed” by illegal immigrants desperate to get into the UK.

[….]

Calais mayor Natasha Bouchart has previously sparked controversy by stating that so many migrants camp in Calais because they are desperate to get to the UK to take advantage of its generous benefits system.

She said: “They want to go to England because they can expect better conditions on arrival there than anywhere else in Europe or even internationally.

“Calais is a hostage to the British. The migrants come here to get to Britain.”

For all of our coverage of the ‘Invasion of Europe’ go here.
Don’t forget, it was the UK Labor Party and its leaders like the Miliband brothers who created the “generous benefits system” for immigrants in the first place!   David Miliband is now the head honcho at the US resettlement contractor, the International Rescue Committee, and leading the effort (with the blessing of George Soros) to bring 65,000 Syrians to America ASAP!  14 Senators, dubbed the ‘Jihad Caucus,’ are urging Obama to bring in the 65,000 before he leaves office.

France: EU shaken by rise of Le Pen in polls

As the ‘Invasion of Europe’ by mostly Muslim asylum seekers (aka illegal aliens) continues unabated, it naturally increases the popularity of  Marine Le Pen’s Front National party.

From The Spectator:

…. the country that most worries European policymakers isn’t Greece or Spain but France. Its economy is showing no signs of recovering and its politics are threatening to become very ugly indeed.

A new poll published this week shows the Front National’s Marine Le Pen topping the first round of the French presidential election. The poll by Ifop for Marianne magazine has Le Pen on 29%, Sarkozy on 23% and Hollande on 21%. Now, the polls do show her losing in the second round to both men. But, in a sign of how much has changed since 2002 when her father polled a mere 18% in the final round against Jacques Chirac, she is on 45% against Hollande and 40% against Sarkozy.

The US needs a party like this one!

Shocking Reactions to the Massacre in Paris

 Je suis Charlie….

35,000 attend Paris vigil for slain writers. http://freebeacon.com/national-security/terrorism-in-france/

Thousands also gathered in Trafalgar Square in London to show solidarity with France and to stand up for freedom of speech in the wake of the horrific terror attack in the heart of Paris earlier today.  Demonstrators held pens aloft to proclaim their defiance against those who would snuff out our western values.

However, the spontaneous vigils are not the “shocking” response we refer to in our headline, it is what the Arab world is saying that is shocking!  RRW guest writer ‘Pungentpeppers’ read Al Jazeera’s Arabic language facebook page today and has compiled the following eye-opening report about the view taken by Middle Eastern commenters.

How are Middle Easterners – some of whom are living in Western countries – reacting to news of the attacks in France?

Westerners are often taken aback when they finally hear the true Middle Eastern spin on terrorist attacks. Although our Western media dutifully repeats the now tiresome phrase “terrorism is not Islam” and reports that Muslims condemn such attacks, that is not the complete story. Do you know why Muslims condemn such attacks? The extent of their self-deception will stun you.

First, if you have not heard yet, the terrorists who launched the attack on the magazine “Charlie Hebdo” were yelling the already familiar Islamic victory cry of joy: “Allahu Akbar”. But more importantly, they also shouted – in fluent French – “nous avons vengé le Prophète!” or “we have avenged the Prophet”. These attackers meant that they got revenge for the magazine having published cartoons depicting the Prophet Mohamed. Their mastery of French indicates they may be French citizens.

I visited Al Jazeera’s Arabic language Facebook page and checked the “top comments” to an early story that came out about the attack.

Keep in mind that, similar to story comments in the U.S., you’ll find the typical disturbed people and fools spouting nonsense. However, the number of likes received gives you a sense of whether a person is an outlier or represents an opinion supported by many other people.

The most popular comment, with over 500 likes, was made by Salim Mansour of Algeria. He said the Jews masterminded the attack in order to punish France for having recognized the State of Palestine and for voting in support of the State of Palestine in the Security Council. He added “And God only knows what the Jews are planning in the coming days”. Later, replying to his own comment, and garnering 16 additional votes, he stated that since the attack was done so quickly and professionally, it had to be the work of French and Jewish intelligence agencies and it was designed to foment hatred and increase Islamophobia.

Most of those who replied to his comment concurred. A woman from North Africa who lives in the U.S. wrote, “it is a point of view that cannot be ignored” and wished the commenter well. An Iraqi who lives in Germany wrote his words are logical since Israel hates Muslims and hates France after its vote, so Israel hit two birds with one stone. A few people, however, recognized the attack for what it was and dissented, saying it was religiously motivated. One man from Gaza demonstrated a typical Middle Eastern way of handling contradictory thoughts: he agreed, “that’s how people are thinking”, but added that if the dead defamed the prophet they should go to hell, but if they were innocent the attack is a crime. (Make up your mind whodunit – Israel or Islamists?!)

The next most popular comment, with over 230 likes, was made by Rachid Dzair of Algeria. His comment was “Your redemption, O Prophet of God.” I.e., the attack was religiously motivated to redeem the honor of the Muslim prophet, Mohammed. This comment stimulated the most replies, over 40. One woman’s reply, receiving 20 likes, said that they kill thousands of Muslims but when 11 of theirs dies, it’s a big deal. One man’s reply (also with 20 likes) said these are brutal, inhuman, terrorist acts. [Of course, it’s easy to condemn if you believe Israelis did it!] A man from Jordan picked up 5 votes for his reply that terrorism is a mental disease and has nothing to do with religion, reason or humanity. One worrying comment from a Syrian living in Sweden (security risk?) has a smiley face and said “Yes, your redemption, O Prophet of God. Good answer.”

Now I’ll pick some other popular comments.

A Moroccan got 100 votes for again presenting the theory that the Jews did it in response to France’s recognition of the State of Palestine and said the attack is an attempt to distort the image of Islam in France and Europe.

An Egyptian got close to 60 votes for saying that this is a political game for the purpose of targeting and persecuting Muslims in Europe.

A Tunisian living in France got 40 votes for his comment. He strongly criticized the attack, said (among other things) the terrorists are beasts and enemies of real Muslims and Islam, and that Islamic peoples must condemn them and tighten the noose around them or they will not stop until they send us all back to prehistoric times. The other Arabs were divided as to how they should disagree with his obviously “wrong” point of view: Two settled on the theory of the French vote on Palestine; two decided to say it was the cartoons; and a few questioned the Tunisian living in France along the lines of “Who told you it was Islamists who carried out the attacks?” [i.e., Don’t believe Western media!]

How do you feel after reading this? Are you disappointed – and worried? I’ll bet you didn’t know that that’s how many Middle Easterners think? Every time you hear on the news that Muslims condemn the attacks, pause and remember those Middle Eastern twists and spins.

Breaking: Islamic terrorist attack in France!

As we get more news, we will link it here.  Gunmen (military unit!) still on the run as of this moment.

Gunmen storm newspaper, massacre 11 and get away!

From NBC News:

Eleven people were killed in a terror attack Wednesday at a French satirical news magazine which has published cartoons of the Muslim Prophet Muhammad. France raised its national alert system to its highest level following the attack at Charlie Hebdo in central Paris.

French President Francois Hollande told reporters that 11 people had been killed and four others were critically injured. “We will find the people who did this,” Hollande said. “France is today shocked by this terrorist attack.”

[….]

He added: “France is in shock. We are a united country.”

United in what? Culture? Religion? the need to stop Muslim immigration?

Oh, this is rich:  Germany’s Chancellor Angela Merkel called it an “attack on freedom of speech”.  Isn’t that what she has been doing in Germany for weeks now!  http://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/europe/charlie-hebdo-shooting-10-killed-as-shots-fired-at-satirical-magazine-headquarters-according-to-reports-9962337.html

That previous report says the terrorists spoke perfect French.  According to Pew in 2010 the Muslim immigrant population of France was 4.7 million or 7.5% of the French population.  At 3% trouble usually begins with the Muslim population, so no surprise that France is a target.

‘Unaccompanied alien children’ appearing all over the world; is the UN driving the scheme?

Well, you can bet that Obama*** sure had a role in starting (if not planning!) the worldwide stampede by his complete inability to control the situation on the US border.   Today we have stories from France and from Indonesia about the “children” (mostly teenaged boys) on the move.  At an earlier time in history, teenaged boys would simply be considered invaders.

And, remember it was the ‘unaccompanied minors’ which generated the tension in that Roman neighborhood just a few days ago.

Antonio Guterres, the Socialist UN High Commissioner for Refugees: We must protect the “vulnerable” children. (That is one of their favorite words, btw) (REUTERS/Denis Balibouse)

In France:

From Aljazeera (the children are blaming the mean old UK).  There are a couple of good comments worth reading.

I have been to lots of refugee camps in the past: Gaza [which is entirely one]; the Iraq-Jordan border during the 2003 war; Russian republics neighbouring Chechnya. But I have never before found people in desperate need of someone’s help living in a ditch between two farmers’ fields, close to a very pleasant market town in northern France.

We, like much of the world’s media, have been countless times to Calais, to the tented camps strung out near the port, where people fleeing conflicts from Eritrea, Ethiopia, Sudan, Syria and other places are all waiting interminably. Their dream, many of them say, is to go to the UK, because they have a perception that it is welcoming to asylum seekers.

The other day an excellent organisation called Doctors of the World contacted us to say there was a new development: that because Calais was full up, people were being forced backwards, many kilometres south, away from the port and into open countryside.

So we went to have a look, and sure enough, near the village of Tatinghem, there was indeed a long ditch.

Inside it was a group of young Syrian boys – the youngest said he was 12 – who were all by themselves. Parents dead, the boys – trafficked through Turkey and Italy – had wound up in Calais but were forced to back up kilometres down the road. [So where did the boys get the thousands of dollars needed to hire human traffickers?  George Soros and his ilk? The OIC?  Don’t the dumb reporters ever ask that question?—ed]

They did not have their papers or virtually any food. They certainly were not going home, but they could not go forward towards the UK either, since they had no money.

There is a discussion you should read about how those anti-immigrant Brits can’t distinguish between illegal aliens and asylum seekers which is an important concept for do-gooders to consider.

Warning to American do-gooders: as you push for more and more immigrants of all sorts, the general public is naturally going to be so sick of it that they really won’t care anymore who is legitimate and who isn’t.  I predict a serious backlash against immigrants and their enablers in the coming years as a result.

Be sure to see the comments, especially those where readers are wondering—so why isn’t the UN pressuring Saudi Arabia to take in Muslim refugees?  Good question!

In Indonesia:

There are 950 “minors” in detention there according to the annoyed UNHCR.  From Antara News:

Jakarta (ANTARA News) – Currently, 950 children are housed in immigration detention centers across Indonesia, including more than 440 unaccompanied by their families, stated Antonio Guterres from the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR).

However, the total capacity of the facilities is limited, Guterres noted in a written statement received here on Friday.

“The children who arrive in another country in search of international protection are extremely vulnerable and have specific needs. We should treat them first and foremost as children, not as illegal immigrants”, Guterres remarked.

Will Church World Service bring some of Indonesia’s “vulnerable children” to the US?

Don’t we have enough of our own?

Indonesia is a Muslim country, can’t they take care of the Muslim children?  Instead look who is here on your dime—Church World Service—one of our nine major resettlement contractors  The next thing you know we will be bringing the unaccompanied alien children from Indonesia to your home town.

With the support of the UN Refugee Agency and the Church World Service (CWS), the Indonesian government has set up two shelters as alternative accommodations for the children who arrive as unaccompanied refugees rather than placing them in a detention house.
