I’ve been warning that the US must not become Germany, but this morning I see that we are there already!
Before I give you the latest news about the numbers, you need to know that asylum is just another side of the refugee coin.
The only difference is that, in the case of refugees we admit through the US Refugee Admissions Program, we screen them (supposedly), pick them up abroad, and fly them to the US.
In the case of asylum seekers, they get to the US on their own initiative and then ask for asylum and that is what is happening at the southern border this very minute—-tens of thousands claiming they are entitled to asylum.
(For those who are scratching your heads and asking why we aren’t just loading them up and sending them back across the border, if they claim asylum (as per the 1951 UN Convention on the Status of Refugees), we must hear their claims. They are all being trained by Leftist handlers to ask for asylum.)

As you can tell, I am fascinated by the sea change in Europe seemingly brought on in less than one week after Italy blocked the landing of a so-called ‘rescue ship’ with more than 600 mostly African men and boys on board.
The ‘Aquarius’ was ultimately “welcomed” by Spain, but that won’t solve the EU migration crisis where frontline countries get the brunt of the invasion unless Socialist Spain wants to keep them and all the future migrants who will surely head that way now.
For new readers to my ‘Invasion of Europe’ series, German Chancellor Angela Merkel created the recent migrant surge when she began ‘welcoming’ Middle Eastern and African refugees to Germany in 2015.
Germans aren’t producing enough children and she argues that they need young workers who would support old Germans in their dotage. Yeh right!, sure they will!

While the media is busy with the run-up to the show in Singapore, and prior to that the G7 in Canada that saw social media in a flutter over the failure of Justin’s fake eyebrow that came unglued in a presser attacking Trump (yes, apparently the prime minister of Canada augments his eyebrows with bushy black fake ones!), some monumental shift may have occurred in Europe in one week….

When police officers arrived at a center housing migrants in order to remove an African man who had been rejected for asylum, the officers were driven out and forced to release the deportee.
But they came back with reinforcements….
