Al-Hijra has a prize! Sweden breaks from EU to support Palestinian state

Update:  Diana West has a much more thorough post on Sweden today, here.

The radical move is blamed on the large number of Arab Muslim migrants (other non-Arabs, like the Somalis, add to the number) who have been “welcomed” into Sweden in the last few years and now have enough of a population to sway the Socialist government there.

Al-Hijra, as readers here know, is the Islamic doctrine of conquest through immigration.  No heads need to roll, they just must get into the country in great numbers, start producing the next generation and insert themselves in the democratic process.  It is all about numbers!

This is one more bit of evidence to back my bet that Sweden will be the first European country to fall to the Islamists.

Sweden’s new Prime Minister Stefan Lofven announced Friday that Sweden would break with the EU and recognize the state of Palestine now. http://www.cubiclane.com/2014/10/03/sweden-recognize-palestine-state-87949

Times of Israel:

Stockholm’s announcement over the weekend that it would recognize the independent state of Palestine was influenced by the vocal and growing Muslim minority in Sweden, Israel’s ambassador to Sweden charged Sunday morning.

New Swedish Prime Minister Stefan Lofven said during his inaugural address Friday that Sweden would recognize Palestine, a move that would make it the first member of the European Union to recognize a Palestinian state.

Loftven’s party, the Social Democrats, are “anti-Israeli,” ambassador Issac Bachman told Israel Radio, but another reason for the statement “is the large Arab minority, which has grown unbelievably this year.”  Bachman charged that Sweden has taken in some 80,000 Arab refugees in 2014, mostly from Iraq and Syria, and claimed there were 700,000 Muslims living in the country.

“All this against a social-democratic background, which is pro-Arabic, pro-Islam and anti-Israeli,” Bachman said.

In July, the Swedish Migration Board said it estimated 62,000 Syrians would apply for asylum in the country in 2014, among 80,000 expected refugees seeking asylum in Sweden this year.

And, now here comes that intellectual bright light, Jen Psaki, over at the US State Department with harsh words for Sweden (not!):

US State Department spokeswoman Jen Psakia said the US looks forward to working with the new government of Sweden — a close partner — but called international recognition of a Palestinian state “premature.”

Meanwhile in nearby Norway, the Norwegians are trying to get rid of their Muslim trouble-makers.

American Jews beat up on Israel for not allowing African migrants to stay

African protesters at US Embassy in Tel Aviv in January demanding to be allowed to stay in Israel. https://refugeeresettlementwatch.org/2014/01/07/waiting-for-the-unhcr-to-blast-saudi-arabia-as-they-did-israel-yesterday/

Whew!

This article in the Jewish Times featuring Jewish leaders in Maryland leading a campaign against Israel on the issue of asylum for tens of thousands of African migrants who got into Israel illegally is just too much.  I’ll let you read it yourself.

We have covered the issue extensively in our category ‘Israel and refugees.’

The gist of it is that tens of thousands of African migrants that many believe are in Israel as economic migrants (not legitimate refugees) are seeking asylum claiming they will be persecuted if returned to Africa.

The issue has split the country down the usual lines—Leftists want the Africans to be allowed to stay and accuse Israel of being “unwelcoming” and those on the Right believe that Israel will ultimately die if allowed to be overrun by the third world.

BTW, Israel is paying some of the illegal migrants to return to Africa.

Here is the whole story (albeit slanted toward the American Left) from the Jewish Times.

You should know that the Hebrew Immigrant Aid Society, one of the nine major US refugee resettlement contractors is also bashing Israel on the issue.

Israel could be overrun by refugees says professor

If ISIS moves on parts of Jordan, Professor Arnon Soffer, sees the real possibility that Israel could be overrun.

Professor Arnon Soffer: Israel must prepare for demographic turmoil.

From the San Diego Jewish World:

HAIFA (Press Release) — “In a region of collapsing countries that are in states of internal and external war, Israel must prepare for waves of immigrants from Arab countries to its territory, which may endanger its existence,” maintain Prof. Arnon Soffer, who holds the Reuven Chaikin Chair in Geostrategy, University of Haifa, and Dr. Anton Berkovsky, in a new article by the Chair. According to Soffer and Dr. Berkovsky, waves of immigrants already constitute a real danger to the future of Jordan, and the worst-case scenario would be if ISIS gained control of territories in Jordan and added them to its caphilate.

According to the data presented in the article, 2013 showed a global record of immigrants in the world of more than 232 million people, who constitute about 3.2 percent of the world’s population. However, according to Soffer, the picture in the Middle East is particularly clear: “We have a globally unique demographic event occurring. The population of the region doubled within 30 years (1950-1980), and doubled itself again within the 30 years following that. That is one of the main reasons why the Middle East has entered a demographic, economic and political spiral, resulting in disorder and instability.”

Business publication beats up on Israel (again) over refugees

….and reveals more about UN/Obama Administration plans for thousands of Syrians to arrive in the US soon!

Our “refugee” alerts are full and overflowing with Syrian news.  Here is an article from the Business Insider which shows which countries are taking Syrian refugees (something we have reported many times).

Business Insider / Oxford University Refugee Studies Centre

But, what caught my eye was the criticism toward Israel for not taking in Syrians.

Readers, Israel is one of only a few countries in the world trying to save itself from being overwhelmed by the third world on the move.  Everyone in their right mind can see that Israel would be committing suicide if it opened its tiny country to the mostly Muslim migrants on the move around the world.

Business Insider:

Israeli Intransigence

Israel, which shares its northern border with Syria, has steadfastly refused to receive refugees.

Yuval Ben-Ami, an Israeli journalist and author based in Jaffa, told Business Insider, “at this point in its history, Israel seems determined to barricade itself, primarily of its immediate neighborhood.”

Ben-Ami says the idea of Israel accepting Syrian refugees is “extremely foreign” to Israelis, and that even refugee advocates speak little about the Syrian issue because it seems fruitless.

But near the end is another important part of this story. Once again we are being alerted to expect thousands of Syrians to arrive in the US soon.

We are going to be up there with Germany!  20,000?

While the United States is the largest donor to Syrian relief efforts, it has accepted only 63 Syrian refugees this year.

However, the UNHCR told Business Insider it expects the U.S. to rank up with Germany as one of the top two receivers of Syrians in 2015.

The U.N. said the U.S. accepted a request to load its resettlement intake toward the end of this year, with the organization already submitting 2,500 applications for consideration over the coming months.

Palestinians, the UN’s phoney refugees

http://freegazafromhamas.com/tag/unrwa/

Update August 22nd:  A new column by Solomon—the UN’s refugee welfare racket—here.

Update August 19th:  As Palestinian demonstrators take to the streets to protest an Israeli ship planning to dock at Oakland, we should be organizing a major campaign for the US to stop funding UNRWA.  And, of course, stop the migration of Palestinian trouble-makers to America!

We have written many times here at RRW about the ‘Palestinians’ as pawns, as the people doomed to be called ‘refugees’ from generation to generation perpetually cared for by a special agency (just for Palestinians!) known as UNRWA.

But, since those same ‘refugees’ have been in the news lately for building cross-border tunnels with money that came from your pocketbooks in order to more stealthily attack Israel, this article at the Financial Post is a good summary of what author Lawrence Solomon calls the “bizarro world” of UNRWA.

Solomon begins with this:

In the up-is-down bizarro world of UNRWA, the number of refugees only grows and grows

RIDDLE: You’re an American citizen, born and raised in the U.S., who has never set foot outside your country. You are also a refugee from a faraway land. What is the explanation?

HINT: Your parents and grandparents are also Americans, and they are also refugees.

ANOTHER HINT: Your children, born to you and your American spouse, are also refugees, and when they are old enough to have children of their own, their children will also be refugees.

This is not a trick question. Such refugees exist on this planet, not only in the U.S. but also in Canada and other countries. In fact, millions of refugees exist on this planet who have never set foot in the place from which they are deemed to have fled. But there’s only one place on this planet that these millions can have come from — Israel and the Palestinian territories — and there’s only one “people” on this planet who, for themselves and their children, can have this refugee status in perpetuity — Palestinians.

This bizarro alternate world is the creation of the United Nations, which established the United Nations Relief and Aid Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East, or UNRWA for short.

Read it all.  One of the new things I learned was that Canada has already turned off its funding spigot to UNRWA. Why are we funding tunnels and rockets?  It is time for the US to follow Canada’s lead and do the same—cut them off!
