Senators Cruz and Paul use the "M" word! MORATORIUM! Trump follows

Be still my beating heart! There it is, out there—the M-word! Several of them in fact! Moratorium on Muslim Migration!

Put this word in your vocabulary!

I started to write this post yesterday, then spent the day running out to the doctor (nothing is fast with doctors these days, have you noticed that) and as I’m trying to read news on my phone, the Cruz and Paul news was eclipsed by The Donald news when he jumped on the bandwagon.
However, all of the news reports I was reading and hearing claimed Donald Trump was alone in his call for a ban on Muslim migration to America. He was actually the third Presidential candidate to make that call. Trump called it a “ban,” but that sounds like moratorium to me.
This is what I started to write about yesterday from Julia Hahn at Breitbart. She has Senator Cruz uttering the word and I heard Senator Paul say it on Fox News yesterday morning!

Presidential candidates Sens. Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) and Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) are demanding a halt to immigration from Muslim nations with jihadist movements.

Their fellow contender, Sen. Marco Rubio, did not call for curbs to Muslim immigration in his live response to the President address on Fox News – a response promoted by Rubio’s campaign.

Cruz tweeted that if elected president, “I will shut down the broken immigration system that is letting jihadists into our country.” Cruz elaborated in a statement:

The President should place an immediate moratorium on refugees from countries with a significant al Qaeda or ISIS presence, such as Syria. I’ve introduced legislation to make this happen; it is not a desired step, but a necessary step for the security of the United States.

Similarly, Rand Paul tweeted, “While ‪@POTUS paid lip service to this fight, he plans to keep failed rules in place & allow tens of thousands of refugees to enter the US.”

“Immigration visas & refugees from countries with active terror networks must be halted while we determine how to better secure our borders,” Paul in a separate tweet. “His administration is focused on gun laws that won’t stop terrorists while pushing policies that will let more of them in the country,” Paul wrote.

It had to happen. You knew it would.
From Breitbart London:

Migrants and locals got into a fight in a restaurant in Bavaria on Sunday, resulting in a 50-year-old German man receiving serious head injuries.

The brawl, which began as an argument between a small group of migrants and local residents eating at a restaurant in the town of Velden, started in the early hours of Sunday morning, according to Süddeutsche Zeitung.

The situation appeared to calm down when the migrants left, but they soon returned with reinforcements.

Around 15 people from the local asylum centre had joined them, with witnesses reporting fist fights and glass bottles being thrown. One witness said the square in front of the restaurant resembled a battlefield, covered in blood.

Six people were injured in the fight, with one 50-year-old German man needing hospital treatment for serious head injuries.

Police arrested a 25-year-old Syrian migrant, but later released him. The investigation continues.

And the brawling wasn’t just migrants v. Germans, but the various diverse ethnic factions entering the country are brawling with each other. Any predictions about where all this will end?

Germany’s police union has previously called for migrants to be separated by country of origin to minimise the risk of inter-ethnic tension.

Please read the New York Times story from Saturday. I was trying to imagine a small American town if such a thing happened. I won’t say it, but I know there would be a bit more than a community meeting.
New York Times (German Village of 102 Braces for 750 Asylum Seekers):

SUMTE, Germany — This bucolic, one-street settlement of handsome redbrick farmhouses may for the moment have many more cows than people, but next week it will become one of the fastest growing places in Europe. Not that anyone in Sumte is very excited about it.

In early October, the district government informed Sumte’s mayor, Christian Fabel, by email that his village of 102 people just over the border in what was once Communist East Germany would take in 1,000 asylum seekers.

Serbia gearing up for massive new wave of migrants escaping ISIS

There have been several stories lately suggesting that the Obama Administration perhaps purposefully allowed ISIS to grow and metastasize in Syria and into Iraq. We talk about the desire by anyone concerned about ISIS to want to stop their brutality. Worse, in the long run though, is the need to stop them from destroying Europe, which they are doing not by acts of terror, but by sending millions of needy people fleeing westward. I guess what I am saying is maybe Obama is quietly cheering the invasion of Europe.

Here is some news from Serbia as it braces for the next onslaught. Most won’t stay in Serbia but will move westward to France and Germany and other more prosperous countries of the EU.

Serbia can expect another wave of refugees at the beginning of autumn—one which will be much larger than the current 1,000 Syrian refugees who enter every day, writes the Serbian daily “Blic,” citing information obtained from Serbian security services.

The second wave is expected to bring the poorest residents of Arab countries where the war with ISIS (ISIL/Islamic State) rages.

According to estimations of Serbian officials about three million new immigrants are on the Turkish border waiting to enter the EU through Greece, Macedonia and Serbia.

“The new wave of immigrants could pose the most risk to the safety and public health of Serbian residents. These immigrants who will arrive in Serbia come from the lowest social structures of their countries. That is why measures for greater control of their movement are being already planned,” says the latest information of Serbian security services that monitor the movement of asylum seekers, writes the daily.

World Refugee Day protest: Most citizens of Slovakia do not want Muslim refugees

We’ve told you before about the plan by the European Commission to distribute mostly Muslim refugees (Syrians would make up a large portion of them) to all countries of Europe via a quota system. In Bratislava on Saturday the people said NO loud and clear.
From The Slovak Spectator:

A PUBLIC protest against immigration held in Bratislava on June 20 that led to violence against both police officers and bystanders showed the power of extremists in Slovakia who have declared their intention to become members of parliament in next year’s election. Observers point out that the protesters were nourished by mass hysteria and fears of Muslim immigrants arriving in Slovakia. [As if their fears were unfounded!—ed]

The European Commission presented a new quota-based strategy for dealing with the massive wave of immigrants coming to Europe on May 13. The EC plan counted on Slovakia accepting 785 individuals. The proposal met with wide criticism in Slovakia and a June survey conducted by the Polis agency indicated that 70.1 percent of 1,469 respondents said they disagreed with Slovakia accepting more refugees.

The protest on June 20 was one of the largest in recent Slovak history, shutting down traffic in some Bratislava squares and keeping hundreds of police officers busy. The police officers detained about 76 people suspected of riotous conduct with 41 of those detained coming from the Czech Republic. The police filed criminal complaints against 19 Czechs and 13 Slovaks according to Bratislava police spokesperson Tatiana Kurucová.
