Obama lied about his school years and the press shrugged, why the double standard for a conservative black man?

Update November 9th:  Go see this!  Nine more things Obama lied about in his life story and the MSM never said a word.

Remember this story, it was revealed in 2013 that Obama lied when he said he didn’t know that his illegal alien Uncle Omar was in the US.  If I recall from my reading in ‘Dreams from my father,’ Obama said he had no idea where Uncle O was.
As the press is busy on a witch hunt of a black conservative candidate for President—Ben Carson—they conducted no such inquiry into Obama’s Uncle Omar fabrication until Uncle Omar, under oath, confirmed they had actually lived together (before ‘Dreams….’ was written).
Ben Carson had a great question for the media yesterday—-why aren’t you demanding that Obama unseal his college and law school records?
(If I was a betting person, I would bet it’s because he went to college as Barry Soetoro, citizen of Indonesia (foreign student!)).

Obama and Obama
Obama and Obama

Many of us who read and wrote (for years) about holes in Obama’s life story are eager to see what else we will find out as Obama slips out of Washington in 2017.  I can’t wait to find out, and we will eventually, who in our so-called Washington leadership knew the truth all along!
From the 2013 Boston Globe story (Judy reminded me of the story today). A trip down memory lane:

President Obama acknowledged Thursday that he lived with his Kenyan uncle for a brief period in the 1980s while preparing to attend Harvard Law School, contradicting a statement more than two years ago that the White House had no record of the two ever meeting.

the other Barack

Their relationship came into question Tuesday at the deportation hearing of the president’s uncle, Onyango Obama, in Boston immigration court. His uncle had lived in the United States illegally since the 1970s and revealed for the first time in testimony that his famous nephew had stayed at his Cambridge apartment for about three weeks. At the time, Onyango Obama was here illegally and fighting deportation.

[….]

On Thursday, a White House official said the press office had not fully researched the relationship between the president and his uncle before telling the Globe in 2011 that it had no record of the two meeting. This time, press office staff members asked the president directly, which they said they had not done in 2011.

“The president first met Omar Obama when he moved to Cambridge for law school,” said White House spokesman Eric Schultz. “The president did stay with him for a brief period of time until his apartment was ready. After that, they saw each other once every few months, but after law school they fell out of touch. The president has not seen him in 20 years, has not spoken with him in 10.”

We covered the Uncle Omar story extensively, here.  And, a must read is Sally Jacobs’ (another Boston Globe reporter) book, The Other Barack’ which I found particularly revealing not so much about Barack Sr., but about the comings and goings of Ann Dunham.

Say NO to another “high-tech lynching” of a black conservative man by the Leftwing media!

Obama White House admits lie involving Uncle Omar

Come on media—vet this guy!

As we reported here the other day, Onyango Obama told a Boston court that he had indeed met his famous nephew when Obama stayed with him for several weeks in the 1980’s.

Now, the White House is admitting the press office lied when they told everyone that the President had never met his illegal alien uncle—-but as has become the pattern, it was not the President’s fault, of course not! the press office is taking the blame.

So, how many more lies are there?

Here is the Boston Globe follow-up:

President Obama acknowledged Thursday that he lived with his Kenyan uncle for a brief period in the 1980s while preparing to attend Harvard Law School, contradicting a statement more than two years ago that the White House had no record of the two ever meeting.

On Thursday, a White House official said the press office had not fully researched the relationship between the president and his uncle before telling the Globe in 2011 that it had no record of the two meeting. This time, press office staff members asked the president directly, which they said they had not done in 2011. [What else have they not asked Obama?  Is it time to ask more questions?—-ed]

“The president first met Omar Obama when he moved to Cambridge for law school,” said White House spokesman Eric Schultz. “The president did stay with him for a brief period of time until his apartment was ready. After that, they saw each other once every few months, but after law school they fell out of touch. The president has not seen him in 20 years, has not spoken with him in 10.”  [Even that isn’t plausible, if the man is your father’s brother, one would have to be a real creep not to check up on him.—ed]

This next section of the Globe story reveals so much about the media love affair with Obama.  If I recall “Dreams from my Father” correctly, Obama specifically says Uncle Omar was missing in America and NO one knew where he was.   Remember Obama (Bill Ayers) wrote dreams after Harvard and thus after he stayed with Onyango in Boston.

President Obama had written in his memoir, “Dreams from My Father,” that he had met Zeituni Onyango, his aunt. But his relationship with his uncle, nicknamed Omar, was less clear.

The Washington Post consulted scholars!  Which scholars?  Leftwing college professors?

In November 2011, a White House spokesman told the Globe he had no record of the two ever meeting. The Washington Post had also reported that scholars believed the two had never met.

The White House never moved to correct the record, until the president’s fiercely private uncle took the witness stand in Boston immigration court two days ago.   [Of course they wouldn’t correct the record, they had become so accustomed to getting a pass from the sycophants in the media!—ed]

It is time now (past time) for the media to do what they should have done in 2008—check out this guy’s story!

Obama’s illegal alien uncle is spared deportation, can become US citizen

You all know the story about Onyango Obama aka Uncle Omar or Obama Okech Onyango, whatever his name is (lying seems to run in the family), the long-lost uncle of Barack Hussein Soetoro Obama (or whatever his real name is).  If not, see our archive here.

Yippee! A new American!

Here is presumably the final chapter in Uncle Omar’s nearly 50-year odyssey as an illegal alien in America.  The lesson of this story, hide out in America illegally as long as possible and you will never be deported.

From The Boston Globe:

A federal immigration judge ruled Tuesday that President Obama’s uncle can remain in the United States, sparing him deportation to his native Kenya in a case that riveted attention on the elderly man who had lived under the radar in this country for 50 years. For most of that time, he was here illegally.

Boston immigration Judge Leonard I. Shapiro said Onyango “Omar” Obama can now get a green card, and in five years, apply for US citizenship, unless the Department of Homeland Security appeals the case within 30 days.

“Congratulations,” Shapiro said after he announced his decision. “Welcome to America.”

The case stirred controversy because the president’s uncle was arrested in 2011 for drunken driving in Framingham and was found to have an outstanding deportation order from 1992. Many accused the government of giving him special treatment at the same time President Obama is deporting record numbers of illegal immigrants.

The President lies (again!)

Obama also invoked his nephew’s name during the hearing, which lasted more than an hour. Asked if he had relatives in the United States, he said he had two nieces; a sister, Zeituni Onyango, who appeared in court Tuesday; and his brother’s son, Barack Obama.

“I do have a nephew,” Obama said slowly. “He’s the president of the United States.”

The White House said last year that Obama had never met his famous nephew, but the uncle testified Tuesday that the president had stayed with him at his Cambridge apartment for three weeks when he came to attend Harvard Law School in the 1980s.

I hope we won’t have to wait too long after 2016 to learn the whole truth about this bunch!

BTW, I’ve read a lot of books about our dear leader’s history, but the best was Sally Jacobs’ ‘The Other Barack’ about the senior Obama, brother to Onyango and of course father (we think!) of the President.  Jacobs is a veteran reporter at The Boston Globe.

Jacobs had long ago discovered the presence of the missing uncle as I reported here in 2011.

Update!  Judy reported to me that even the WaPo noted this latest Presidential lie, here.

Immigration Appeals Board will re-open Uncle Omar’s deportation case

Barack Obama’s uncle, Onyango Obama, has been in the US illegally for decades.  In ‘Dreams from my Father,’ Obama claimed that no one in the family knew what happened to the ‘long-lost’ uncle, brother to Barack Obama Senior who was booted out of Harvard (and deported) for drinking and philandering.  When Barack, the senior, departed for Kenya without his doctorate degree, he left behind his kid brother who had just begun high school in Boston at about that time.

Now we are told, in a rare move, his deportation case will be re-visited.  Is anyone surprised?

From CNS News:

(CNSNews.com) — The U.S Board of Immigration Appeals has agreed to reopen the immigration case of Onyango Obama, delaying the deportation of the 68-year old Kenyan who violated an order to leave the United States in 1992.

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), a division of the Department of Homeland Security, confirmed to CNSNews.com on Tuesday that Obama, who is the president’s uncle, was granted a rehearing last week and his case is being re-opened.

“The Board of Immigration Appeals (BIA) remanded the case back to Executive Office for Immigration Review (EOIR) for reconsideration. It is inappropriate for ICE to offer any further comment on this case,” Brian P. Hale, ICE assistant director for public affairs, said in a statement to CNSNews.com.

Any move to reconsider a case is unusual says immigration law expert.

In 1989, an immigration judge ordered Obama, who has been in the U.S. since 1963, to be deported. He appealed and the appeal was dismissed in 1992.

Crystal Williams, executive director of the American Immigration Lawyers Association, said any move to reconsider a case is unusual when there is already an order for removal.

“It isn’t common for the Board to reopen a case when there is an outstanding order of removal, as there is here, particularly with a later DUI arrest.  It happens, but not that often,” Williams said in a statement to CNSNews.com.

CNSNews.com reported in July that an ICE internal e-mail obtained by the legal watchdog Judicial Watch had confirmed that ICE had granted Obama a stay of deportation “to seek reopening of his deportation proceedings.”

For curious readers, you should know that his DUI arrest in August 2011 was not the first time he re-appeared since Obama declared him missing in ‘Dreams…’  In fact, author Sally Jacobs told us all about him in her book (which I highly recommend!) on the short and troubled life of Barack Hussein Obama, the senior, here.
