Since the year 2000 the United Nations has celebrated World Refugee Day on June 20th and now it’s pretty much the whole month of June!
All across America the media will be reporting warm and fuzzy stories about events featuring foods, and costumes and dancing etc. to highlight the joys of ethnic diversity that have been brought to communities large and small (if they wanted it or not!) for the last 35 years through the UN/US State Department Refugee Admissions Program.
I was reminded of the annual propaganda event when I saw this press release from the International Rescue Committee (one of the nine major federal refugee contractors) from ten days ago. Be sure to have a look at it and see if there is an event near you!
Are you having problems with refugee resettlement where you live?
This is an excellent opportunity for you to do a media campaign as well so that the voting public gets the full story about what placing tens of thousands of impoverished third worlders in over 200 towns and cities in America means for them!
Be sure to tweet whatever you write (letters to the editor, blog posts) or stories you find that make your point to #WorldRefugeeDay!

"Alternative safe pathways" could bring ten times more Syrians to your towns than first proposed
You knew didn’t you! You knew that Obama and the United Nations would not be satisfied with a paltry 10,000 Syrian (mostly Sunni Muslim) “refugees” for your American towns this year! (I had previously cheered the fact that Obama was seemingly dragging his feet and might not reach his goal. Many of you, loyal readers, would have none of it! You were right!)
Now comes news that the UN High Commissioner for Refugees is pushing a new concept (because the word ‘refugee’ has become a dirty word). It is called “safe pathways.”
This week Nayla Rush at the Center for Immigration Studies reported (see news here) on the backdoor scheme to try to trick Americans leery of opening their arms and wallets to thousands of inadequately screened Middle Eastern REFUGEES.
Besides speeding up the refugee screening process itself, they will just expand family reunification to third-cousins-once-removed (just kidding, but barely). They will give struggling colleges special deals to invite Syrian ‘students’ to room with your kids. And, this to sweeten the pot for greedy global corporations, give special worker visas for the creation of a mobile workforce.
Leo Hohmann writing at World Net Daily yesterday gives us all the gory details. Here is how he begins:
President Obama and Congress have agreed to fund the permanent resettlement of 10,000 Syrian refugees, but the number of Syrians entering the U.S. over the next three years will end up being much larger.
Possibly up to 10 times larger, says one analyst who follows the global refugee movement. And it’s all about to be done under the radar of Congress with nearly zero media coverage.
Fresh evidence to that effect has come from the United Nations High Commissioner on Refugees Filippo Grande and a statement by the U.S. State Department. Together, those statements indicate the U.N. has many more Syrians in store for the U.S. than what Obama has publicly acknowledged.
“Refugees” are out “safe pathways” are in!
“Often when they talk about numbers it’s a bit opaque,” says Nayla Rush, senior researcher for the Washington-based Center for Immigration Studies. “They want to permanently resettle 480,000 (into countries outside of Syria), but that’s not enough. There will be resettlements but then other routes, ‘alternative safe pathways,’ as stated by the U.N. high commissioner, who is using a new word, ‘pathways.’

This is all that matters…..
If you are thinking that Obama has only a few months left, that is still plenty of time to get this in place for Hillary who, you know, will carry on his diabolical legacy of changing America by changing the people.
It is really important that you are aware of the stealthy plan to seed America for not just the remainder of Obama’s term, but for years to come, and vote as if your future depends on it! It does, and not just yours, but your generations to follow!
UNHCR to hold big pow-wow in Geneva tomorrow, will be demanding more resettlement of Muslims to the West
Well, that is the gist of it. Most refugees they are stressing about are Muslims after all. So, what do you expect! Of course they want more seeded into your towns and cities.
The International Rescue Committee and the other federal contractors (which are paid by the head to resettle refugees) have signed on to an open letter to world leaders to harangue them about more permanent resettlement in the west of mostly Muslim Syrians and Iraqis.
I’m laughing to myself because surely the IRC and the eight other quasi-government agencies masquerading as non-profit groups must be really embarrassed because the US (Obama!) can’t get done what they want—they are all on record wanting 100,000 Syrians admitted to the US THIS year. But, not a critical word in their open letter about their dear leader Barack Hussein Obama.
I followed their wailing and moaning way back in 2007 and 2008 when Bush was going too slowly in opening the Iraqi flood gates and they screamed via many friendly reporters every month (when the new numbers came out) about what a meany Bush was.
Not a peep about Obama! So fun to watch!
In a couple of days we will be 6 months into FY2016 and we are (I am happy to report) nowhere near the numbers of Syrians being admitted to the US that Obama has promised (he promised 10,000 by Sept. 30th). Come back in a couple of days and I’ll let you know where we stand. Hint: They have over 8,000 to go! (Apparently the political pressure you are all putting on is working!)
Here is the letter, you can read it yourself if you feel like it.
Below are the signers. Without your tax dollars most of these organizations would have to fold like cheap suits! Ha! I wonder how many of their employees will be on taxpayer-funded junkets to Sweden today?

Jobs Americans won't do? Making Chicago cheesecake
The new UN High Commissioner for Refugees (after visiting Senator John McCain in Washington and signing an agreement to get more money from US taxpayers) visited Eli’s Cheesecake Company in Chicago.
We learn that a federal refugee contractor lines up jobs for refugees with Eli’s!
Contractor RefugeeOne took in $2.1 million from taxpayers in 2014 to act as an employment service for refugees. It brags that it brought 16,000 refugees to Chicago since 1982!
What! no Americans willing to make cheesecake? Or, is there some special tax incentive for Eli’s to hire foreign labor?
The UN trumpets the news here:
CHICAGO, United States, March 18 (UNHCR) – During a week-long visit to the United States, the head of the United Nations refugee agency welcomed Washington’s longstanding commitment to resettling more refugees than any other country and emphasized that managing the refugee crisis is a global responsibility.
Speaking on a visit to Chicago, where he met with refugees, US lawmakers and resettlement agencies, UN High Commissioner for Refugees Filippo Grandi said: “Resettlement addresses the needs of the most vulnerable and is the safest way to move people from one country to another. Refugees flee terror, they don’t bring terror to countries. Their arrival is very carefully vetted, so there should be no fear.”
[….]
While in the Midwestern city, Grandi visited RefugeeOne, a Chicago area non-profit that works with refugees fleeing war, persecution and terror, helping them to build new lives of safety, dignity and self-reliance.

Finding employment is a major step for a refugee to become self-reliant and one of the businesses that RefugeeOne has long partnered with is Eli’s Cheesecake Company, which has been employing refugees for over 25 years.
[….]
“It takes UNHCR to protect us, RefugeeOne to place us in jobs and people like Marc to help us become productive,” he added, referring to the President of Eli’s Cheesecake Company.
RefugeeOne is a subcontractor of three BIG contracting agencies of the US State Department: Church World Service, Episcopal Migration Ministries, and Lutheran Immigration and Refugee Service.
So, no low income Americans want the jobs? Or, it just isn’t cool enough for these Christian charities to help Americans first?
See Leo Hohmann at WND about African Americans being hammered by competition with immigrant labor, here.
United Nations and US State Department have close working relationship when deciding who comes to America….
…..and thus who comes to your towns.
I just saw this photo on Twitter (right). Anne Richard Asst. Secretary of State signs a so-called ‘Framework for Cooperation‘ agreement with the new UN High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR).
It seems that we began this ‘Framework for Cooperation’ with the UNHCR in the year 2000 (Madeleine Albright’s reign in Clinton’s last year in office and obviously continued through Bush and Obama).
I had always wondered when we began to rely almost completely on the UN for direction on who is resettled in America.
The Framework for Cooperation is a policy document that defines the priorities and commitments of the UN refugee agency and the State Department’s Bureau of Population, Refugees and Migration (BPRM) for cooperation and collaboration throughout the year. The annual accord also acts as a guide to measure impact and performance.
The first such framework cooperation agreement between UNHCR and PRM was signed in 2000, and the practice has continued as a testament to the mutual confidence and commitment that the two sides have in each other as partners. The US Government continues to be UNHCR’s biggest donor.
So one way of looking at this is that we give UNHCR most of their money and then we let them tell us what to do. Huh?
And, who said we must have shared objectives and priorities with the UN in the first place? Calling President Trump, let’s fix this ASAP in January 2017.
After all, it is the UN that is picking mostly Muslim Syrians for resettlement to the US (as they are the Iraqis and Somalis!).
You know that refugee ‘reform’ bill being marked up tomorrow in the House Judiciary Committee, if they are serious about reform, how about an amendment to sever these ties. I’ll bet there was never a law in the first place that required us to cooperate in this formal manner with the UN refugee agency!
I didn’t have the patience to search for this year’s agreement (if it’s even available), but here is one for 2012-2013.
