Italy: Salvini tells UN ‘Human Rights’ honcho to bug off!

UN Human Rights Commissioner and former Socialist President of Chile Michelle Bachelet wants to investigate Italy!

So here we have news from Breitbart where the new Socialist head of the UN Commission on Human Rights says she is sending a team to Italy to ferret out racism by the government there in the wake of recent efforts (by the elected government) to protect its borders and halt the invasion of their country by Africans.

How dare she!

Well that is what Matteo Salvini said too!

Matteo Salvini has said he is considering cutting United Nations (UN) funding after its new human rights chief announced she is sending teams to Italy and Austria to investigate “racism against migrants”.

Michelle Bachelet said in a statement Monday that the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) is set to “send personnel to Italy to evaluate reports of a sharp increase in acts of violence and racism against migrants, people of African descent and Roma”.

Italy’s interior minister and deputy prime minister said the country would refuse to “take lessons from anyone, least of all the UN”, which he described as having “again proved itself to be biased, pointlessly costly and badly informed”, noting that police have denied allegations there is a “racism emergency”.

“The UN is an organization that costs billions of euros, to which Italy gives over 100 million every year in contributions and we will weigh with our allies on the usefulness of continuing to give these 100 million euros to fund waste, embezzlement, and theft for a body that wants to give lessons to Italians and that also has countries that engage in torture and [still have] the death penalty,” Salvini continued.

“If I were the UN, I would have half a world to send inspectors to before Italy. Go look for racism elsewhere, not in Italy,” he added.

“Before doing checks on Italy, the UN should investigate its member States who ignore basic rights like freedom and equality between men and women,” Salvini added.

Bachelet then also took a whack at our President:

The former leader of Chile and lifelong socialist, who opted to live in communist East Germany for some of her youth, used her speech to denounce U.S. President Donald Trump’s tougher border control policies….

Cut her off Donald, let the UN socialists find their funding elsewhere!

South Africa: Blacks attack black migrants as “xenophobic” violence returns

It probably never went away, but several news accounts of recent days suggests the attacks on immigrants to the “Rainbow Nation” have picked up lately.

We have chronicled (see my archive here) the fact that South Africa’s black citizens are not welcoming to their fellow black Africans (they didn’t get the Nelson Mandela message I suppose!) from countries to their north.  They especially don’t like Somalis!

The international Hard Left (Commies, the Obamas and others) don’t like this bad news getting out broadly because they have much invested in the myth of South Africa as a “Rainbow Nation” now that the whites have been driven from power there.

And, part of that Leftist mythology is that anyone who has been discriminated against in the past couldn’t possibly discriminate against others, right!

As you read this remember these are not white people attacking the immigrants, they are black South Africans!  And, since they don’t want that fact to spread widely, you need to spread it widely!

The Left loves this Pope, let me count the ways!

Actually I’m not going to run through a litany of his positions that mirror an internal Leftwing political agenda, but when reader Paul sent this good blog post from John Hinderaker at Powerline, what came to mind was the photo below and this report I did just over five years ago.

In my view, Pope Francis is at the top of the list of feckless and frankly treasonous ‘leaders’ in Europe who are directly responsible for the Invasion from Africa and the Middle East that roils the continent from Sweden to Italy on a daily basis.

One might be led to conclude that creating chaos and discord is the aim as this Pope welcomes Africans to Italy as he did five years ago.  Surely he must have gone to the Saul Alinsky school for political agitators!

Here is Hinderaker’s blog post yesterday telling us about how biased international journalists are when covering the Liberal Pope who pushed out the Conservative Pope and became the present Pope only 4 months prior to his welcoming stunt on Lampedusa.

It seems pretty clear that liberal reporters and editors view Pope Francis as an ally, maybe one who could decisively neutralize their long-time adversary, the Catholic church. Hence they are protecting him against what would, with a conservative pope, be a scandal of historic proportions.

The US Conference of Catholic Bishops is the largest refugee resettlement agency in the US and is paid millions of your tax dollars every year to change America by changing the people!

And, I guess we see clearly why journalists never investigate their financial dealings, or question the separation of church and state.  Why, because the Bishops’ goals directly align with most journalists’ political world view.

This is just one more example of why Trump won the White House! The deplorables have caught on!

Wow!

That was fast!  It only took a few months for a WELCOMING Socialist government to learn that you simply can’t have open borders.

It was only in June that we reported Spain’s foolish (virtue-signalling) move to invite the Aquarius migrant transport ship to drop off 600 MORE illegal aliens.

My, my, times have changed….

This news is at Voice of America, generally a pretty squishy media outlet when it comes to the issue of immigration, but this story is pretty hard-hitting.

Italy: Salvini and Orban meet, call for creation of a pan-European anti-migrant alliance

Italy’s Interior Minister Matteo Salvini and Hungary’s Viktor Orban met yesterday in Milan to discuss a historic alliance to save Europe from further invasion.

Keep an eye on Europe!  Is it just in time or too late?

Viktor Orban and Matteo Salvini strive to forge new European anti-migrant alliance

 

Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban and Italian Interior Minister Matteo Salvini made no secret of their mutual admiration ahead of their meeting in Milan on Tuesday.

United in their anti-immigration policies and relentless bashing of the EU, the two right-wing lawmakers called for the creation of a pan-European anti-migrant alliance that would seek to prevent migration to Europe from besieged regions in Africa and the Middle East.

Salvini, who heads the far-right League party, the junior partner in Italy’s populist coalition, told reporters that Italy and Hungary would strive to forge a future union “that excludes socialists and the left, that brings back to the center the values and identity” that their parties represent.

“We are near a historic change on a continental level,” Salvini added.

Orban, meanwhile, called on the European People’s Party, the largest group in the European Parliament to which his Fidesz party belongs, to adopt a hardline stand against illegal immigration. Salvini’s League party has since 2014 allied itself in the European Parliament with the likes of Marine Le Pen’s National Rally and Freedom Party of Austria.

What Hungary does on land, Italy does by sea

Orban described Salvini as his “hero and companion” for turning away migrant rescue ships, claiming that such actions were crucial for Europe’s security.

“Hungary has proven that migrants can be stopped on land,” said Orban. “And this is where Salvini’s mission starts: “(Italy) must show that migrants can also be stopped at sea.”
