Guest post: Forced conformity of thought breeds malice

Editors note:  The other day when I reminded readers about my rules on comments, I invited those of you who had more than a few words to say to send me a guest post for my consideration.  I have an entire category that has gone unused lately entitled ‘Comments worth noting/guest posts’ here.

Berman-and-Alisyn-Camerota-CNN-800x430
The purveyors of the ‘real truth’ every morning on CNN’s New Day.

As things happen, this piece from ‘bottomlesscoffeeoo7’ is a timely one.

You know I watch CNN the first thing every morning so I know what the Left/Dems are being told about what to think by the brilliant ones at CNN.  Today the show was all about how the President lies all the time (according to fact checkers at the Washington Post).

LOL! When you have a few minutes, search ‘CNN Trump lies’ and see what you get!

The Constant Demand for Conformity is What Breeds Malice

This post was inspired by https://philosophyviaphotos.wordpress.com and their article, “Truth is Single or Many? you can find their article here. If you get the chance, check out their blog, some pretty interesting things. https://philosophyviaphotos.wordpress.com/2018/10/28/truth-is-single-or-many/

To demand that others follow, without their own individual consent is how malice is born and continues to breed. Plato said and I quote “Beauty lies in the eye of the beholder”. This simple phrase is how beauty is determined, by the individual. Not from law or social ideology. The constant push and pull from the time of Adam and Eve is how rape and murder became prevalent.

To demand that others give into your desires, whether through threats or subjecting them to isolation, is what is needed to form an underground coup d’état. Malice is born and breeds in the hatred that is the direct result of mass conformity. If you want an enemy, constantly tell them the “truth”. Demand that they conform and accept the results, regardless of their own thought, opinions or feelings on the matter.

“Truth” seems to be ever more present, yet it was this “truth” that enabled the ideology of “the enemy of my enemy is my friend”. If these are the lengths people are willing to go for their sudden epiphany of discovering the “truth”, then they must be ready for the backlash that is building just out of sight.

“Truth” be told, this is one of the many reasons President Donald Trump won. For too long, we were told to simply “shut up, sit down and listen”. We are not “scientists”, we are not “academics”, yet we live in the world of cause and effect. We live in the world of layoffs, tax brackets and rising medical costs. We live in the world of debt and ultimately we live in the world, where we are done as we are told, never the other way around.

We have been subjected to mass hysteria and the wagging fingers of the “truth tellers”. From halloween costumes, to revised history, approved speech and laws and regulations that do not and have never applied to the mega donors or the law makers.

Our medical history is used against us. The makers and enforcers of law (which includes insurance law), demand higher and higher premiums, all while disparaging the same industry that we now must pay, BY LAW!

“Climate Change”, “Immigration”, “Hate Speech”, “Diversity”, “Inclusion”, all of these subjects and many more, that we are forbidden from speaking our opinions on in public, breed malice. The mass hysteria over boycotts and who can do what is how President Trump will win in 2020.

Continue to wag your finger and look at me with disgust. Continue to demand that “mental health” is an epidemic, continue to shove me out of my seat, so you can be given a seat at the table that I had to earn.

The “truth” that you speak of is the very reason why I will no longer listen. The “truth” that you speak of, you have weaponized to win. You do not care of the cost. You could not be bothered with the millions you will impugn by demanding that law be catered to this “truth” that you parlay as if any refutation is an assault.

Let the individual choose for themselves. Allow the individual to be the master of their command. Present the evidence and simply step aside, there is no need to win. Time will tell if this “truth” is true, if you cannot be patient, why should we listen?

No one likes an automobile salesperson to hound them, why can’t others grasp this?

I must believe something for myself in my head and my heart before I will ever acknowledge it as “truth”.

“Beauty is in the eye of the beholder”.

For years, I nagged readers to write their own blogs.  It is not hard and you will find it very satisfying to send your views out in to the world for others to consider or to gather and share facts as real investigative reporters did at one time in our history.

And, as I argued many times, the more of you who become reporters and commenters, the harder it will be for the Leftists to control speech in the tumultuous years ahead.

More corrections needed: Asylum seeker vs. Refugee

Let me say that I am glad to see that new readers arrive here daily, but long time readers, please accept my apologies for repeating information you already know.

Commenter ‘Kansasdudess‘ said this yesterday in a comment to my post on about Twin Falls, Idaho, here.

“id like to point out that in every country except the us refugees are not placed into actual communities..they are housed in refugee camps..geeze if they knew they were going to live in camps and not in sociey with full benefits they wouldnt come..who the hell decided they need to be placed in regular society???!!!! when did refugee status become perminant status? refugee means they go home too…”

Refugees

First, here at RRW we are mostly focused on the present US Refugee Admissions Program established by law in 1980—The Refugee Act of 1980.

Ted and Joe
“Who the hell decided?” asked our commenter.  Senators Ted Kennedy and Joe Biden with other Democrat Senators decided in 1979. The Refugee Act of 1980 was then signed in to law by President Jimmy Carter.  Congress and the President decided 38 years ago, and if you want to change it now, Congress and the President must decide.

Briefly, refugees, as defined by the Act’, are people we have located abroad (mostly with the help of the UN now) who claim they would be persecuted if returned to their home countries—persecuted for their race, religion, political views and so forth.

We fly them to the US and through US State Department resettlement contractors (nine non-profits) we place them in hundreds of US towns and cities.  They are here legally (permanently) and they are on a track to US citizenship.

You are not to be faulted for being confused about the word ‘refugee’ because the Leftists and No Borders activists around the world have done their best to make you think that anyone on the move around the world for any reason is a refugee deserving of special treatment. They are not. Most are economic migrants, some are getting away from civil wars at home, and some are criminals.

But, here the word refugee has a very specific meaning and is used for those who are legally here through the US Refugee Admissions Program.

As for Kansasdudess’s assertion that around the world “refugees” are in camps.  Yes, in some places they are, but the vast majority of migrant asylum seekers (they are NOT legal refugees yet) are free in many countries until their asylum claim has been processed—think Germany, Italy, France, the UK etc. etc.  There they live mostly in special housing and are free to move about in the community. (There is increasingly more talk in Europe about building detention centers.)

Asylum seekers and Asylees

So what is asylum?  That is when migrants of some sort go to another country on their  own initiative and then ask for asylum claiming they will be persecuted in their home country if they are returned.

The asylum process is being abused around the world.

All of those Africans and Middle Easterners flooding Europe are not refugees. Some may be able to prove (through an asylum process) that they should get the first class treatment afforded legitimate refugees, but most are economic migrants looking for a better life.  I repeat: they are NOT refugees until they are given asylum status.

Here in the US our immigration system is being scammed now as thousands cross our borders and ask for asylum.  If they get through the asylum process and are judged to be legitimate refugees, we call them asylees.  And, then, just like the refugees we flew in, they can stay and take advantage of the many benefits life in America will give them (including ultimately citizenship).

(I explained asylum here and here, just a few weeks ago!)

So in summary, the word ‘refugee’ used at this site refers to a class of LEGAL immigrant. They are flown here by our government. They are here to stay. They can work. They can get welfare. They will eventually become US citizens.

And, if an asylum seeker can make his or her case through a legal process, then that person can say they are a refugee as well.

Bottomline: words matter!

Don’t fall for the Left’s broad definition of refugee. Everyone on the move around the world is NOT a refugee.

Comment worth noting is an example of what you can do for your state and country

From time to time, I post what I call “comments worth noting” that have been sent to me or in this case published on social media.
This (below) is a facebook entry from Peggy Traeger Tierney in Minnesota.
Readers ask me all the time, what can I do?  Well, this is a prime example.
Help educate your fellow citizens with a little investigative work of your own and then find a way to get it out more broadly—through facebook as Peggy has done, through twitter, via a letter to the editor, or consider writing your own blog (goodness knows we need more citizen journalists!).
In Minnesota we were told by the bright minds in the legislature that they couldn’t figure out what the refugee population there is costing the taxpayers, well here is one piece of the answer.
More recently the outrageous revelation that massive fraud had been uncovered with Somali-run publicly-supported daycare centers has Minnesotans again demanding an accounting.
You too can do this!

By the way, one of my top posts of all time is this one (2011) about how so many Somalis first arrived in Minnesota thanks to Catholic Charities, Lutheran Social Services of MN, and then World Relief.  One of the reasons those federal refugee contractors chose Minnesota—generous welfare!

Minnesota Somalis: You're old and we are taking over

This week Judy sent me an interesting facebook post. I’ve decided not to name the author in order to spare her further aggravation.
Normally I wouldn’t post on a social media conversation except this one rings a bell.  I’ve heard it before.
In fact in earlier years in the life of this blog, I heard it from time to time.  Somali commenters told me that this country had a lot of wide open spaces and they planned to fill it.
In fact in 2010, a Somali woman communicated with me to warn that Somalis are creating what she called Tuulas (villages) throughout some states—she mentioned Minnesota and Kansas and Maine. She said:

I have read about what is going on in Kansas and in other small towns like Maine. Somalis will turn these small towns into a largely populated Somali town, because if Minnesota is the U.S capital of Somali people then a small town or city cannot stand a chance.

And, more recently a reader (a Somali?) has told me I am old so I am to be dismissed, implying that I can’t stop the inevitable wave anyway.
So this facebook post sounds perfectly in line with what other Somalis have said to me, and are saying:
From anonymous:

Yesterday, I had long social media conversations with two Somali Muslim gentlemen from Minneapolis, Minnesota. I asked them about their goals for improving Minnesota and how they feel about being an American. I also asked them about the million dollar upgrade at Cedar Riverside public housing that Mayor Jacob Frey promised its majority Somali residents this week. After I was called a racist, a fascist, a bigot, stupid and old, here’s what else they shared with me. Nearly verbatim. Thoughts?

Mayor cedar riverside
Don’t miss Leo Hohmann’s report on the Minneapolis mayor making special promises to special people.  https://leohohmann.com/2018/05/08/democrat-run-city-building-6-foot-fence-around-migrant-housing-complex-to-keep-intruders-out/

“Get with the program, miss. We are here to stay. We never left our Somali heritage or culture. That’s what America is missing. Please stop forcing us to your ways. You’re old and have very old ideas. Get with the program. I’m trying to have my son to be the first Muslim black governor of the state of Minnesota in next 20 years. He’s gonna run as a Democrat. Oh, and on those upgrades at Cedar Riverside. They better give us those upgrades and changes if the Mayor wants to earn our votes. Or else we can always get another Mayor next time around. You see how being an American works? I told you lady please get with the program because Somalis are the latest addition to black folks.

Why should we assimilate? Do you know how stupid you sound? Guess what? We’re here to stay and will transform America for the better. Get that through your thick, ignorant skull. You need to see a doctor. It’s inevitable that Somalis will be taking over and there isn’t anything you can do about it. Again, what’s wrong with Somalis taking over? It is inevitable! This land doesn’t belong to either of us. It is our time to populate it and rule it. Go back to Europe or wherever you’re from if you don’t like it.”

When populations rise, they get cocky (and careless).
And, they are amazingly confident even in light of the fact that Somalia is a failed state because they couldn’t manage to govern it without creating a hellhole.
I suggest that their Leftist trainers (who must be talking to them about ‘old white people’) teach them to not spill the beans prematurely…but then again, let ’em talk!

Comment worth noting: Many blind 'conservatives' in Minnesota

Editor: Occasionally we post guest comments/opinion pieces from readers.  This, below, is a comment a resident of Minnesota posted at this story last week:

Headline: 25 reasons to end Somali refugee resettlement now

Before you read Bob Carrillo’s comment, you might want to visit Robert Spencer at Jihad Watch yesterday about Republicans and Dems (pandering!) in the Minnesota state legislature by proposing to give nearly $20 million in taxpayer dollars to Somali community development (because of course we all know that poverty produces Islamic terrorists—NOT!).
(This post will be filed in my ‘What you can do’ category—don’t be afraid to speak!)
From Bob Carrillo (highlighting is mine):

This week (Tuesday 2/6) was caucus week in Minnesota.

Two nights ago, I found myself compelled to call in to a local radio talk show host (Walter Hudson) (IHeart Radio 1130 AM – “Closing Argument”).

He was interviewing Mr. Phillip Parrish, a fairly straight laced, no nonsense, gubernatorial candidate for the State of Minnesota; a personality and intellect sorely need here in the land of Minnesota denial…

Walter Hudson radio
Walter Hudson is on the right.  https://www.iheart.com/podcast/closing-argument-with-walter-hudson-28270545/

I was not particularly pleased with the tenor of the dialogue exchange by Mr. Hudson. He claims to be a conservative. However, in Minnesota, as true in many places in the country, what passes for a republican, or even a common sensed based conservative leaves many of us adults in the room wanting. In short, and with very few exceptions, Minnesota has become a breeding ground for adult-children posing as conservative thinkers, and RINO’s.

In any event, I was compelled to call in to Mr. Hudson’s radio program.

Needless to say the discussion, and exchange between myself and Mr. Hudson did not come off very well…at least from his end I believe.

After posing the following question to him, and citing a number of horrible examples of atrocities committed by radical Islamist’s in Minnesota, some resulting in the maiming and even death of Minnesota citizens, as absolute proof that this is not simply some ethereal debate relating to the differences between religious and cultural factions in Minnesota at all.

Using those pesky circumstances called FACTS, I attempted to make my case, in opposition to his wishful thinking (or not) approach to Minnesota’s growing and deadly problems, Mr. Hudson did his level best to deflect and to derail our discussion at every turn.

While attempting to bring the hostility level down several times during the conversation, it was clear to me that he had no intention of allowing me to get past his all-over-the-top, and emotionally driven ranting. …He was upset.. So upset, that even after he dismissed me just prior to a hard break, he referenced me personally a few times during the next hour (segment) of his program in a less than respectful manner. Since I used to host my own weekly radio talk show program for eight years, I found his tone and demeanor to be incredibly unprofessional and disrespectful.

To my initial question: Can you point to any place on the planet where this “social justice” experiment, which involves this clash of cultures (one of which, literally refuses to assimilate by intent and by design), has worked well for the indigenous people of that place, OR has not ended badly???

Where, in Europe, Australia, or in the US and Canada is the “group hug approach”, and philosophy of appeasement (COEXIST) working? …Just one place!

Minnesota Somalis 2
Women in traditional Muslim dress take part in prayers outside the federal courthouse before a jury found 35-year-old Amina Farah Ali and 64-year-old Hawo Mohamed Hassan guilty on all counts Thursday, Oct. 20, 2011, in Minneapolis of conspiring to funnel money to a terrorist group in Somalia.  https://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2015/feb/24/islamist-terror-groups-target-minnesota-somali-ref/

When Mr. Hudson obviously blew his stack on air, relating to my question, and then wandered around per his response in a manner, which I would only describe as angry and unintelligible, I then suggested that perhaps taking a “Straw Poll” amongst the many victims and their families here in Minnesota, who have been directly affected by this insane combination of public policy, he lost it again, and suggested that no straw poll was necessary, or some such reaction by someone in denial.

I also informed Walter that I have lived overseas, and I have traveled overseas extensively, AND I HAVE VISITED THE “NO GO ZONE’ IN PARIS. I told him that he does not want to see that here. But, indicated to hime that the seeds for that here in Minnesota have already been sown. (See Stories: uniformed “Sharia [ LAW ] Police” patrols being tolerated by the MPD in the Cedar-Riverside area OF Minneapolis, now known as “little Mogadishu”)

I did have the opportunity, while he was continuing to talk over me at every turn to make the following statement, leading to a question: “I do not see a bunch of wild eyed Catholic, Lutherans, Presbyterians, or Methodists, as an organized effort per their cultural group thinking process, running around, and committing such horrible, barbaric, violent (Anti-American) atrocities, directed at Muslims, or any other groups of people”, based upon some religious differences as the driver for all this mayhem.

I also stated as a fact, that this entire experiment in “social justice”, and the seeds of this being sown all over Minnesota, per this “Welcoming Communities” nonsense, is, for economic reasons, “Public Health reasons”, and “Public Safety reasons”, is UNSUSTAINABLE and DANGEROUS.

He continued to present, what I can only describe as disjointed philosophical drool, relating to this very serious and very real life situation we are facing here in Minnesota, and sounding like the “can’t we all just get along” mantra of the left crowd, and doing everything possible to run from the discussion points being made by me throughout our brief discussion. He was finally successful by cutting me off completely, and hanging up on the call. ..Bad form Mr. Hudson..

If I had been given the opportunity to do so, I would have asked him the following questions:

* Is all the collateral damage, which has truly occurred here in Minnesota, and with greater frequency with each passing day now, acceptable losses to you Mr. Hudson?

* Is there no question in your mind relating to the cause and effect analysis per your own thinking about all this?

* Does the other side (Muslim “community”) bare any responsibility whatsoever, for the behavior of far too many of their brothers and sisters of their “book”, whether covertly or overtly involved?

* Do these people deserve (per demand and intimidation) “TO BE TREATED AS A SPECIAL CLASS OF MINNESOTANS”??, while other Minnesotans have to follow the rules of any civilized nation, and submit to US CONSTITUTIONAL LAW – AND PUBLICLY DISAVOW ANY ALLEGIANCE TO “SHARIA LAW”?

* Should this “community” – including CAIR Minnesota and their director Jaylani Hussein, be expected – in fact required, TO PUBLICLY CONDEMN HAMAS, THE MUSLIM BROTHERHOOD, AL-QADEA, BOKO-HARAM, and label these organizations PROPERLY as terrorist organizations, and disavow their connection and allegiance to such groups.

* Should they as (Americans?) be required to pledge allegiance to our American flag (as all other immigrants to the United States have done over time), and pledge to support, and defend OUR US Constitution, etc. etc.?

* When accepting any position in “public office” anywhere in the US, should they be swearing in per their “book”?

* Should their Imams be afforded to “special” privilege” of being able to host POLITICALLY ORIENTED TRAINING PROGRAMS IN THEIR MOSQUES, when other religions would be risking their “Tax Exempt Status” by doing the same.

* Should only “special people” be allowed to reach “sharia law” IN PUBLIC SCHOOLS here in Minnesota, and have PRAYER ROOMS, PRAYER BREAKS, AND PRAYER RUGS in OUR Minnesota PUBLIC SCHOOLS SYSTEMS, when, per a long standing US Supreme decision: the U.S. Supreme Court’s ruling in the case of Lemon v. Kurtzman. In the 1971 case, the court ruled that a three-pronged test has to be passed for religious involvement in public schools. Is there secular purpose for the activity? Does the activity actively promote religion or inhibit religion? Is the “entanglement” between church and state “excessive?”. Because there are no other religious groups afforded ALL OF THE ABOVE, in terms accommodations, there is a problem here..

* Should there not be far better screening for serious, and sometimes, deadly “communicable diseases” being imported into Minnesota per the “Refugee Resettlement Program, and certainly the illegal “Sanctuary City(s)” public policy in full bloom in Minnesota. Additionally, shouldn’t the various Departments of Health in Minnesota be required to STOP HIDING CASES OF ACTIVE TUBERCULOSIS, and other lethal and debilitating IMPORTED diseases, and MAKE MANDATORY ALL PROPER MEDICAL PROCEDURES – INCLUDING INOCULATIONS AND ADDITIONAL PRECAUTIONS – TO PROTECT THE PUBLIC THEY ARE OBLIGED TO SERVE?

* Should not the participants in “Female Genital Mutilation” of female children, serial rape of female children (as young as 4 years or 5 years of age) as well as all other crimes committed in Minnesota, be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the LAW (US Constitutional LAW), and those convicted, be imprisoned, deported, and (relating to crimes involving children), have their children removed for their custody PERMANENTLY?

* Where are the home grown, or imported to Minnesota, terrorists being trained in Minnesota, or being conditioned to act and behave this antisocial and uncivilized manner, hate the infidel, hate Americans (while loving AND EMBRACING all the “free goodies” per our ridiculous welfare distributions systems), being schooled to believe that they can threaten and intimidate with impunity, rape children and women, kill or attempt to kill, commit arson, and a whole host of offences against OUR American society (with impunity), in spite of how short a time, or how long a time they have been in this country – AND AMPLE TIME ENOUGH TO ASSIMILATE? Who is teaching all this and where?

* There is certainly more, but this will do for now.

In any event, I called back after being cut off, relating to our brief encounter on the radio, and proposed the following to Mr. Hudson, per his call screener: I expressed a desire to be a guest on his program for two hours – up close and in studio – and an open, direct, and respectful discourse between one another relating to these interrelated and interconnected, and extremely critical issues concerning and impacting ALL MINNESOTANS today… I even suggested that he could invite his favorite Imam to sit in as well.

I left my name, some background information about me, my phone number, and asked for a return phone call. What do you think Walter. Shall we have a go?

I am still waiting…

What do you think? Will Hudson invite Carrillo on as a guest? I wouldn’t bet on it, but you never know! We will see what kind of a ‘conservative’ man Hudson is!
