Guest commentary: 2016 Presidential Election—Choose wisely!

This election will determine the fate of our nation. With Donald Trump we have a chance, and it is only that. Over the past few years we have learned to our shock and dismay just how corrupt and out of touch our elected officials really are. They have an agenda and it does not include the American people, except in extracting as much of our resources as possible. They are a powerful force. I don’t know if Donald Trump can overcome it, but I do know that no one else can.

Message from Ann: For all you women out there who think you are voting for the first female president of the United States, it will be this diabolical duo who will be running the country—John Podesta and Bill Clinton—while Hillary naps.

Hillary Clinton personifies everything that is worst in Washington. In addition to being bottomlessly corrupt, she is an extreme leftist. She has worked and socialized with DC’s biggest extremists, for example her former boss, Robert Borosage, founder of the anti-American Center for National Security Studies, and former director of the subversive Institute for Policy Studies, and John Podesta, a calculating, committed hardcore leftist, who, like Hillary, is also serially corrupt. Her good friend VA Governor Terry McAuliffe has just pardoned 60,000 criminals so they can vote (for Hillary of course). This is vote fraud.

A vote for Hillary is a vote for an entrenched criminal class that must be routed out if our nation is to survive.

Despite his sometimes uncouth nature, Donald Trump’s message has resonated with everyday Americans because it is everyday Americans whose lives are being destroyed by the DC progressives. No other candidate in recent history – including Reagan – has so clearly spoken to our widespread angst about our country’s future. There are few, if any politicians, that actually grasp the reality. Trump does, and has articulated a comprehensive response that misses nothing.

He has issued a Contract with the American Voter to clean up Washington, DC. His first day in office Trump pledges to rescind all of Obama’s destructive executive orders, including those on guns and especially the border. He promises to repeal and replace Obamacare. He promises to abolish Common Core. His policy positions are clearly articulated, detailed and honest.

On the other hand, if you can convince yourself that Hillary’s mind-boggling corruption is not disqualifying, then perhaps her insane, misplaced policy prescriptions are. While our military sinks to the lowest level of readiness since WWI, our borders overflow with illegal aliens and terrorists, our individual rights are being stripped right and left, Hillary promises to expand upon those Obama policies that got us here in the first place. There is a great chart linked here that compares some of Trump’s positions with Clinton’s. It doesn’t pretend to be unbiased.

From Michigan: An open letter to Donald Trump

This  is a letter penned today by one of our faithful readers on the eve of a scheduled visit tomorrow by Presidential candidate Donald Trump. Please, Donald Trump, help Michigan!

Dear Mr. Trump:

I am so happy to hear you will be coming to Michigan at least one more time before the election. I doubt I will have a chance to speak to you in a throng of thousands of supporters, but if I could this would be my message.

Michigan represents the United States on the cusp of collapse if Hillary Clinton and the globalists backing her prevail on November 8th. Michigan has been so damaged by job loss and permanent unemployment from companies moving elsewhere that it has caused the social fabric to change. Like many of my friends I am a grandmother with grandchildren elsewhere. When our children graduated from college they all had to move to other states for jobs. There was no future for them in Michigan.

So now the central planners on the left are flooding our state with refugees from war torn and third world countries to provide a pool of very low wage workers who will be reliable Democrat voters to help keep the sinking ship of state afloat. Per capita Michigan has been receiving the most refugees in recent years and now we are receiving the most Syrian refugees. While the Refugee Resettlement program operates under the radar as much as possible, the presence of a large concentration of refugees is being noticed because some parts of Michigan are being transformed almost overnight.

People are concerned. Why are we bringing in unvettable potential terrorists into our midst? Most of these newcomers are Muslim and many of them are Sharia compliant. Sharia is not compatible with the US Constitution. Now we are discovering that a number of these refugees are harboring TB and in at least one case the drug resistant variety. This seems to be nothing short of insanity. A few informed citizens have sounded the alarm, but it is difficult to find leaders who are willing to buck the unfair charges of bigotry and discrimination.

Mr. Trump, this is why we are so enthusiastic about you. We salute your leadership on protecting our borders and our citizens. It is not unreasonable to call a halt on bringing in more refugees until they can be properly vetted, not just for terrorist ties, but also their adherence to an ideology that makes it impossible for them and their children to be Constitution abiding US citizens.

We call on you to shine the spotlight on the Michigan situation, which will soon be the norm all over the country if we can’t put the brakes on this mad dash to bring in more and more refugees. We call on you to support our bold leaders like Oakland County Executive, Brooks Patterson, and the entire town council in Waterford, Michigan who stepped up to protecting their citizens, the job of all our elected representatives.

There is much to learn from the Michigan experience and a course correction is in order to hold the line in Michigan and protect the rest of the country. Please continue your bold leadership and you will have a winning issue that crosses all demographic and party lines. I really believe you when you say you will MAGA. Keep up the good work!

Comment worth noting: Reader likes my idea of an awards dinner for assorted haters (like me)

In response to my announcement that I had made the Southern Poverty Law Center’s top 15 list of “anti-Muslim extremists,” reader 7Delta likes my idea of an annual awards dinner for Islamophobes and assorted other bigots and haters.  (Although I maintain that the SPLC is hypocritical because they truly hate ordinary Americans — “deplorables” and “rednecks”—the people I love.)

This is how you must deal with the likes of the filthy rich Hard Left political activists at the Southern Poverty Law Center—as Alinsky instructed—LAUGH AT THEM!  Make them the brunt of jokes. Alinsky very astutely said that ‘humor is the most powerful political weapon!’ Let’s use it!

Oh wow.

I get busy and miss out on all the important news! Congratulations, Ann. I’m so honored to say I knew you before you were a certified hater. You have really come a long way from the farm girl we all know and love.

I agree that we should have a Flowers of Hateophobia Dinner. At our Garden Veritas soiree–where we’ll serve hotdogs, because we don’t have pay for play–we can give awards: Best in Hate List for Most SPLC Appearances, Best Dressed Islamphobe (I’m pretty sure Geller has that one locked up), Most Humorous Hater (Spencer’s a strong leader), Most Likely to Make the Hate List Next Year, Best Bow Tie for Hate (Dr. Warner probably has this one), Most Grandmotherly Hater Without Horn-rimmed Glasses (Guess who?). And the Grand Thorn Awards, whose recipients will receive nothing but a cheap plaque we got at a yard sale, just like everybody else: The Morris Dees Award For Not Coming Anywhere Close to Having a Poverty Palace That Avarice Bought and The Mark Potok Chinless Award for Taking It On the Chin and Not Compiling Lists to Blame Others to Compensate for Short Comings.

We really are going to have to do this. Maybe we can even give out a Veritasophobia Award or two to the most deserving or we could huddle around whoever has the biggest phone screen to show reruns of Project Veritas videos to highlight who the real liars, cheats and thieves are, since finding that many plaques at yard sales will be tough anyway. We’ll just remind everybody that the video participants/recipients are SPLC’s BFFs. Some were even members of the Clinton Administration.

Let’s do it.

Reluctantly (because so much is happening with the refugee program), if the Southern Poverty Law Center is going to act as the mafia for the refugee resettlement contractors, I guess I am going to have to educate readers more about them. We already have a tag for the SPLC where I will continue to archive information going forward.
There have been many many critical reports about them, use your search engine and you will see what I mean.

They make millions of dollars by calling ordinary Americans “haters” and attempting to silence speech!

We’ll start here with a look at the ‘non-profit’ organization worth over $340 million. This is a recent Form 990.  Check out their board members on page 7 then the employees with HUGE salaries begin on the bottom of 7 and on page 8.

21 employees make over $100,000 in annual compensation—wow!

Comment worth noting: Call Congress daily! (this reader does!)

Editor: This is a comment from a reader ‘Mom for Trump’ who asked me to tell you this daily. So I will!
Years ago I had some experience on ‘The Hill,’ but I will tell you the place has changed over the last two decades! They simply do not want to hear from you (the peons!).  They have made it increasingly difficult for you to get a message to them and even setting foot in the place is like going in to Ft. Knox.

I’m going to say this over and over again for the remainder of the year!
You must call your members, you must see them at townhalls while they are campaigning, you have to picket their local offices and their homes if necessary.  Call them constantly and call their local offices too! And, you have to take an hour out of this weekend and write a decent, thoughtful and informative letter to Senator Jeff Sessions Subcommittee, here.
Congress will return in November and they will be deciding how much money will be spent to bring in over 100,000 refugees in 2017—you have one more shot to save this country by telling them no!

Frankly, I am getting really tired of all the ranting and raving I’m getting from some of you here at RRW. With all the time you are spending reading social media and yammering and yelling, you could actually be putting pressure on the only people that matter right now—on Members of Congress and Senators because they (the Republican majority!) hold the purse strings.  No money=no unvetted refugees for your towns.
And, of course you must be working to elect Donald Trump.  If Hillary is elected we are finished!
Sorry (now I was ranting!), here is the comment from ‘Mom for Trump:’

Ann, could you tell all your readers on a daily basis to call our useless Congress @ 202 224 3121 and have them say DEFUND REFUGEE RESETTLEMENT PROGRAM. I call daily and if enough of us do so, we can make a difference. Would you also tell your readers if interested to join @ActForAmerica and follow @ACTBrigitte. I just joined this group and I’ve learned a lot about terrorism, the Muslim Brotherhood in our country and the Islamization of our country.

Act for America is the only national grassroots organization focused exclusively on immigration (and reforming the Refugee Admissions Program) from Islamic terrorist-producing countries.

Comment worth noting: NY state reader is one heckuva brave guy!

Editor: This is a comment I received from a reader, Sergeant Joe Moran, who lives in New York state. I’m not posting it because I want you to see his praise of my work here, but because of his bravery!  How many of us would have the guts to confront a Catholic priest (or a pastor) during mass?
This is posted with permission from Sergeant Moran. It is slightly edited to make it easier to read.  (I added paragraph breaks and spelled out some abbreviations.)

Hi Ann, Just wanted to thank you for your extraordinary work informing the public on the influx of refugees pouring into our country. I myself was a NYPD Forensics Sergeant assigned to the Bellevue Morgue in NYC during the 9/11/01 WTC Terror Attacks; going through what seemed like an endless eternity of body parts.

I also worked with members of law enforcement (NYPD, State Police, & FBI-Famous but incompetent). I can unequivocally tell you within these mosques, the imams were preaching nothing but hate and vitriol towards America and the citizenry within the USA.

I now reside in upstate New York, the fresh country air nourishes my lungs, which were effected by the pollutants and contaminants in the air the day of 911 WTC terrorists attacks. I’m active with the Republican party and the (USCC) Upstate Conservative Club Coalition. The only ones within these organizations who seemed to be privy to the refugee chicanery or sophistry were members of the John Birch Society, none of the others realized the magnitude or depth the refugee crisis, which is having such deleterious effect on our culture and country.

I have to applaud your courage and temerity, shining the light on such a dark axiom; that average Americans don’t have a clue. Ann you truly are an oracle of truth, and are extremely brave and courageous! Thanks to you I now know that Catholic Charities under the auspices of the US Conference of Catholic Bishops is an active agent saboteur working in tandem with the State Department and the UNHCR (UN High Commissioner for Refugees), getting paid federal US tax payer dollars completing their pseudo-philanthropic mission; which in my opinion is tantamount to treason against the USA.

The knowledge you convey to me gave the courage to stand for the truth.

I happened to be attending a mass at a Catholic Church within my neighborhood. The priest giving the sermon is an ultra liberal Anti-American zealot. He started to spout off that America should be ashamed for not admitting more refugees into country. He stated we have the personnel and resources to do so; and we don’t want to treat them like the Native American Indians, we killed all of them, he said.

That’s when I got up from my pew and proceeded to approach the front alter and politely interjected myself in to the sermon. I introduced myself as retired NYPD 911 WTC Responder Sergeant Joe Moran. I looked the priest directly into his eyes and said he was totally out of his area of expertise and couldn’t be more wrong. He replied back in an acrimonious tone: I’m not wrong and how dare I interrupt his mass.

I stated that I had every right to do so under the first amendment and this was not his mass, its our mass (the congregants and parishioners)! I told him that he was pontificating nothing but feel good politically correct propaganda for his own sinful self-righteous pride and he needs to go to confession for his lies; because he is letting the wolves right into his flock. I told him he wasn’t being a Good Shepard or sheep herder.

Then I went on to quote Abraham Lincoln ” Those who don’t stand up and speak the truth for the way the truth should be told makes cowards out of all of us”! I told the priest he is being cowardice for his own sinful self-righteous pride and emphasized that in light of recent events like the San Bernardino attacks he should be having a moment of prayer and silence for the victims of that horrendous act of terror.

Then I stated what is of paramount importance is the safety and security of the USA and its citizenry within and went back to my pew.

That following Sunday I had The Saratoga Springs Police at my door. With that said, Ann I want to thank you for dispensing and giving me the knowledge and courage to stand up for the righteous cause. Thanks for your courage and conviction. I pray for your safety and well being often.
