I’m posting this because I’m curious about this gang which was arrested shortly after the shooting of a respected Iraqi family man resettled in Rochester, MN by Catholic Charities only a few years ago. Was it a random shooting? We likely will never know.
I was also interested because the gang (playing the name game!) appears to be a mixed group of migrants and home-grown thugs. (Diversity is strength so they say!)
ROCHESTER — The man who was shot and killed Monday night escaped violence in Iraq, only to have it find him here.
Ahmed Muafaq Abdulhu Al Naddf, 40, was an Iraqi refugee who immigrated to the United States in 2014.He, his wife and their two young children left their home country and settled in Rochester shortly thereafter, with help from a local branch of Catholic Charities.
On Monday night, Al Naddf was shot and killed with a single bullet to the chest near his home in the 2800 block of Charles Court Northwest. Four men have been arrested in connection with the shooting — the motive for which is still unclear — and will likely face charges of second-degree murder.
ROCHESTER, Minn. – Four suspects are now in custody in connection to the murder of a husband with two kids, Rochester police said Tuesday afternoon.
Capt. John Sherwin said Tuesday the murder of 40-year-old Ahmed Muafaq Abdulhu Al Naddf began with a confrontation of some sort and ended with one shot being fired.

Eric Tyler Lee, 25, Sao Yim Jr., 24, Traequan Bamlounghong, 23 and Deante Stanifer, 24, are all facing second-degree murder charges.
Stanifer’s arrest was announced Tuesday afternoon after the other three had already been taken into custody.

Yesterday this brief news item was brought to my attention (hat tip: Anne Marie) and I see that Frontpagemagazine is on the story too.
Although we know that the conflicts between Somalis and African Americans are more widespread and not limited to Minnesota, rarely does the media report on the tension. There are no photos of the brawl that I could find. My guess is that these incidents are not brought to the public’s attention because it goes against the PC multiculti myth (a myth that the media loves to advance) that those of the same brown skin color couldn’t possibly hate each other, but we have seen that clearly in the xenophobic unwelcoming black South Africans as well.

Over 20 students joined the chaos soon after the first punches were thrown and the original videos that surfaced were titled “Somalis vs. Blacks.”The original videos have been taken down due to pressure from school administration. The school’s resource officer was present in the cafeteria. In an attempt to control the situation, school officials put the cafeteria on lockdown for 15 minutes after the allotted 30-minute lunch period, keeping any students from leaving or entering, including the ones not involved. All staff members that were not otherwise occupied were called to action.
No police but, wow! 15 student resource officers called in from other schools!
The police were not called, but 15 student resource officers from other schools were called for backup. In an eyewitness video taken by a student, the administration’s inability to diffuse the skirmish in a timely, appropriate, and safe manner was made clear.

Five years ago another such incident happened (one that we know of!) at another Minneapolis high school.
The cafeteria riot at South High five years ago resulted in injuries. Fights were between Somalis and other students (African American and Native American). Somali activists said the school administration wasn’t doing enough to make Somalis feel welcome. And, looking back in my archives from 2008 I see that an African American attempts to explain the tension between the supposed African ‘brothers’ (Somalis v. African-Americans).
The fight that ended the life of the African American was because the Somali teen was aggressive toward the American black girl and I will bet that much of this tribal violence is over turf and girls.

Saying they deserve a place in a “civilized” country, Home Affairs Secretary, Peter Dutton, said the Australian government is looking for ways using humanitarian/refugee avenues to move some of the hardworking South African whites out of the increasingly violent racist ‘Rainbow’ Nation—South Africa.

White South African farmers “deserve special attention” from Australia due to the “horrific circumstances” of land seizures and violence, Peter Dutton has said.
The home affairs minister told the Daily Telegraph on Wednesday his department was examining a range of methods to fast-track their path to Australia on humanitarian or other visa programs.
South Africa’s new president, Cyril Ramaphosa, is pursuing a policy of appropriating farm lands without compensation for redistribution to black South Africans.

The policy has led to reports, including in the Australian media, that white farmers are being murdered at a rate of more than one per week.
“If you look at the footage and read the stories, you hear the accounts, it’s a horrific circumstance they face,” Dutton said.
The home affairs minister noted Australia has refugee, humanitarian and other visa programs which have the “potential to help some of these people”. He said he had asked his department to look at the options “because from what I have seen they do need help from a civilised country like ours”.
“The people we’re talking about want to work hard, they want to contribute to a country like Australia,” Dutton said.
“We want people who want to come here, abide by our laws, integrate into our society, work hard, not lead a life on welfare. It is astounding to me that we take hundreds of black Africans—mostly Somalis—as refugees from South Africa, but not the whites.
That may change as a movement is growing to pressure the Trump Administration to include white South Africans in the 19,000 refugees we are expected to take from the continent this fiscal year. Did you know that refugee contractor Church World Service is working with the UN and the US State Department in Johannesburg to move Africans of all stripes that South Africa doesn’t want (so far not the white ones!) to Your Town, USA? I wonder if whites are showing up there to apply for refugee status?

From his photo and his name we know he is Somali and likely a refugee (from a refugee family) since the vast majority of Somalis in the US came in through the UN/US Refugee Admissions Program.

Student, 19, Charged For School Shooting Threat On Snapchat
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – A 19-year-old man faces charges after allegedly threatening a school shooting via social media.
According to a criminal complaint, Omar Fuad Abdi is charged with one count of terroristic threats.
The complaint states police responded to Ubah Medical Academy*** in Hopkins Tuesday on a report of a student with a bullet.
This one is easy: Omar Abdi is Somali
A staff member told police he took a bullet from Abdi during gym class. He also said he had a video of Abdi robbing someone with a handgun.
When police spoke to Abdi, he said he was the person in the video, but the robbery was staged and the gun was a BB gun. He said he found the bullet outside of the school.
Wednesday, police were alerted to a threatening Snapchat post by Abdi.
“School shooter coming tmr [sic] !!! Go tell the cops,” the message read.
Police met with Abdi at the school, where he admitted he wrote the message, but did not actually intend to shoot anyone. According to the complaint, he “wanted to see how people would feel after learning of the post.”
I know every one of you, when you see stories like this one, want to know where he is from and how he got here. As Ann Coulter says, we all get out our “secret decoder rings” and play the name game.
But, the police and the mainstream media seem hellbent on keeping that information secret.

Citizens need secret decoder rings when reading about immigrant crimes.
We have to play the name game and try to figure out who the perps are—-from which country they came. Sometimes there is a photo to help you play the game. But, rarely does the mainstream media admit his (or her) home country and almost never immigration status. I thought about this last night when I saw Leo Hohmann’s latest about a St. Cloud “man.”
Based on other evidence, Hohmann pegs him as a Somali refugee. Frankly we don’t know, but I’m thinking, what the heck, if the mainstream media and law enforcement don’t provide important facts (attempting to hide them obviously), let’s play the name game. Let the authorities tell us if we are wrong.
Here is Hohmann:
A 30-year-old East African migrant is accused of strangling a woman to the point of “nearly unconscious” at a motel in Stearns County, Minnesota, while high on the Somali drug of choice — khat.
Ahmed Mohamed Ahmed, described by the local newspaper as “a St. Cloud man,” was charged Tuesday with felony domestic assault, fifth-degree felony possession of a controlled substance and interfering with a 911 call.

The St. Cloud Times was so careful not to reveal Ahmed’s ethnicity as a native of Somalia that it even covered up the country where most khat is grown: “Its use is widely accepted in certain African countries, but the stimulant is considered a controlled substance in the United States,” the newspaper reported.
Local media simply identified Mohamed as “a 32-year-old Bloomington man.” No mention of him being a migrant from Somalia who likely came to Minnesota the same way most other Somalis came to Minnesota – through the United Nations-U.S. State Department refugee resettlement program. This program has delivered more than 140,000 Somalis to U.S. cities and towns over the last 35 years despite their horrendous record of non-assimilation.

He could be from Ethiopia, not Somalia, but from the name game we know he is a Muslim. From his photo, he is East African. So how did he get here? Was he thoroughly vetted?

My reader thinks he could be a refugee, from where? Let’s start with the name game…
‘Sohaib’ is a Muslim boys first name I learned, but from his picture he doesn’t look East African. Nothingin the story gives us any hint.
I’m looking for answers if any of you see more on the perp.
But, do you see what I mean, it would actually be to the benefit of the general public including the Open Borders political activists to support the idea of saying more about immigration status of someone with the name Sohaib Anglo because we assume he is an immigrant anyway, even if he isn’t!
And, where is Congress? How about a law that immigration status is made available to the public in cases like these!
