Number of Active TB cases in Colorado has gone up

No time to do this justice as I’m dashing out to appointments, but wanted to get this posted quickly…..
More news in Breitbart’s series on Tuberculosis in the US refugee population. This is an update of previous information on Colorado. By the way, Colorado is a so-called Wilson Fish state, one of more than a dozen states where elected officials have virtually no say in how taxpayer money is expended on refugees there.

Hickenlooper at Davos — Colorado Gov. Hickenlooper: We love our refugees in Colorado! I wonder did he go to Davos to schmooze with the big international corporations backing the free flow of immigrant labor around the world? A little TB here and there shouldn’t stand in the way of making money! Right?

The Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment admits that sixteen refugees were diagnosed with active TB between 2011 and 2014.

The admission comes one month after Breitbart News reported ten recently arrived refugees in Colorado were diagnosed with active tuberculosis (TB). Between 2011 and 2014, 16 out of 7,754 refugees were diagnosed with active TB at the time of their initial medical screening.

Colorado is one of fourteen states that have withdrawn from the federal refugee resettlement program. Under the statutorily questionable Wilson Fish alternative program, the federal government has hired a voluntary agency (VOLAG) to run the program there.

Though Tennessee, another state that has withdrawn from the federal refugee resettlement program, is suing the federal government on Tenth Amendment grounds over the resettlement of refugees in the Volunteer State, Colorado Gov. John Hickenlooper, a Democrat, is unlikely to add his state as a plaintiff in that lawsuit.

In fact, the mother and father of the 4-year-old sexually assaulted by three boys in her apartment complex’s laundry room over a month ago feel like they are being treated as criminals. (Click here for all of our previous reports on the case).

I tweeted out this story by World Net Daily’s Leo Hohmann last night right after it was published, so you’ve probably seen it. But, if not this is a must-read this morning. Hohmann interviewed the victim’s mother. And, it sure sounds like a rape (under Idaho law) occurred.
Interesting to me is that there is still no news about the immigration status of the boys (two are Sudanese and one is Iraqi). Those are two prominent ethnic groups we admit to the US as refugees (immigrants from those countries through any other legal means are rare).
Both Sudanese and Iraqis have been resettled in Idaho.
The big lie!
Why can’t they tell the truth about immigration status?
And, why is this family being treated so badly by the authorities? I believe it is because this story (just like the Somali roving gangs in Minnesota and the alleged sexual assault in Massachusetts last week) doesn’t FIT THE NARRATIVE the Open Borders Left and the Refugee INDUSTRY (including the big businesses that benefit from cheap immigrant labor) want the public to swallow!
National mainstream media—including Fox News—keeps stories like these from reaching a broader audience and are therefore complicit in keeping the general public in the dark about problems with the UN/US State Department Refugee Admissions Program.

George Soros and the European refugee crisis

I hate to use the word ‘refugee’ here because most of the migrants reaching Europe are economic migrants and not legitimate refugees, but who is quibbling over terms, certainly not George Soros.

They have overplayed their hands, pushed the people of Europe too far and now Soros dumps the blame on Merkel! Zerohedge (hat tip Julia) has posted a big expose (by Garret/Galland Investment Research) on the old man. I know many of you are pretty familiar with his evil record, but it is worth noting that he is considered one of the drivers of the NO Borders movement and thus his fingerprints are all over the European invasion.

His Latest Success: the European Refugee Crisis

Soros’s agenda is fundamentally about the destruction of national borders. This has recently been shown very clearly with his funding of the European refugee crisis.

The refugee crisis has been blamed on the civil war currently raging in Syria. But did you ever wonder how all these people suddenly knew Europe would open its gates and let them in?

The refugee crisis is not a naturally occurring phenomenon. It coincided with OSF (Open Society Foundation) donating money to the US-based Migration Policy Institute*** and the Platform for International Cooperation on Undocumented Migrants, both Soros-sponsored organizations. Both groups advocate the resettlement of third-world Muslims into Europe.

In 2015, a Sky News reporter found “Migrant Handbooks” on the Greek island of Lesbos. It was later revealed that the handbooks, which are written in Arabic, had been given to refugees before crossing the Mediterranean by a group called “Welcome to the EU.”

Welcome to the EU is funded by—you guessed it—the Open Society Foundations.

Soros has not only backed groups that advocate the resettlement of third-world migrants into Europe, he in fact is the architect of the “Merkel Plan.”

The Merkel Plan was created by the European Stability Initiative whose chairman Gerald Knaus is a senior fellow at none other than the Open Society Foundations.

The plan proposes that Germany should grant asylum to 500,000 Syrian refugees. It also states that Germany, along with other European nations, should agree to help Turkey, a country that’s 98% Muslim, gain visa-free travel within the EU starting in 2016.

Massachusetts: 22-year-old Syrian refugee arrested for "touching" 13-year-old in public pool

Oh gee, one more “story” that doesn’t fit the Left’s narrative about refugees! (The Hive needs to get busy!)

You knew it had to happen sooner or later—a 22-year-old Syrian refugee has been arrested for making sexual advances to a young girl at a public swimming pool. She reportedly told him she was just a kid, so leave me alone.

LOWELL — A 22-year-old Syrian refugee is behind bars after only two months in the United States after he was accused Thursday night of inappropriately touching a 13-year-old girl at a state-run swimming pool in Lowell.

In Lowell District Court on Friday, Emad Hasso, of Lowell, was ordered held on $25,000 cash bail after pleading not guilty via an interpreter to one count of indecent assault and battery on someone under 16.

Judge Stacy Fortes set the bail over the defense attorney’s objections, because Hasso’s only ties to this country are his family members with whom he lives.

Prosecutor Sam Miller said that around 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, the 13-year-old Lowell girl was at the Raymond Lord Memorial Pool at the North Common Park in Lowell when she said a man approached her, touched her upper thigh and asked her age.

Hey Rutland, VT, and Reno, NV! He was likely resettled by the same federal contractor, US Committee for Refugees and Immigrants (the federal contractor in Lowell), wanting a toe-hold in your towns. USCRI is in charge of Twin Falls, Idaho too!
What are the odds that this guy is going to become an upstanding American citizen?
An afterthought: So is this the contractor’s fault for not telling their new charges that this sort of behavior is illegal in America? I think it is!

Vermont's Watchdog.org tells us more about VT Health Dept. response to TB in the state

This is a great website—Watchdog.org—I wonder how many other states have a Watchdog site like this which goes around the politically correct media spin and digs deeper into important stories effecting citizens in their states.

Watchdog.org is reporting that the Vermont Health Department may not be diligently alerting and testing those who might have come in contact with the recent cases of ACTIVE TB.

Information not disclosed by the Health Department includes how many contact investigations are underway to identify the disease’s potential spread among the general public. Also not disclosed was how many people will need to undergo testing due to contact with the active TB patients.

In January 2015, state epidemiologist Patsy Kelso and Health Commissioner Harry Chen led a well-publicized TB control effort to isolate a single teacher at Charlotte Central School diagnosed with active TB disease. That effort, covered by VPR and WCAX, ultimately tested 500 students and co-workers exposed to the teacher, and identified 19 children and two adults to whom the tuberculosis had spread, according to Stateline.

Kelso, speaking Thursday on VPR’s Vermont Edition, offered a much different response regarding TB disease among refugees.

“It’s not a concern of mine,” Kelso said.

During the interview, Kelso shared data that show refugee populations are exhibiting a considerably higher rate of TB disease compared to native born Vermonters. “Looking at 2003 to 2015, we’ve seen 77 cases of (active) TB in people in Vermont, and 26 of those were in U.S.-born people and 15 of them were in refugees,” she said. Kelso added that the other 36 cases involved immigrants living in Vermont. [Of the 26 U.S.-born people, how many were living in the household of an infected immigrant?—ed]

While Kelso’s response may have been aimed at allaying public fears about the disease’s spread, the epidemiologist noted that up to 10 percent of latent TB cases advance to active TB disease. That means Vermont’s infectious disease teams can expect to diagnose many more active TB cases as a result of the Vermont Refugee Resettlement Program.

I know I’ve said this before, but until Michael Patrick Leahy at Breitbart began his investigation of Tuberculosis in the refugee stream to American towns and cities, we had no idea it was this bad. Repeatedly those involved in the resettlement industry have said, oh, only latent TB-infected people can get in and now we learn that is not true. And, if 10% of those with latent TB become active, will they become active in your child’s school one day, or working next to you in a meatpacking plant or serving you food in a restaurant. Are they ticking TB time bombs just waiting to go off?
