This will never end as long as the ‘humanitarians’ keep picking them up off the Libyan coast. http://appsforpcdaily.com/2017/04/over-2000-migrants-and-refugees-rescued-in-mediterranean/
Also heating up is the exchange of words between the so-called rescue ships and the EU’s migration authority. EU agencies accuse NGO migrant rescue boats of creating a “pull factor” which only encourages more people to try to reach Europe in anything that floats. I will never let you forget! Hillary is directly responsible for the invasion of Europe from Libya! Call it Gadaffi’s revenge. https://refugeeresettlementwatch.org/2017/03/19/hillarys-libyan-legacy-still-responsible-for-invasion-of-europe-as-italy-panics/
There are a bunch of news stories today and yesterday about the increase in numbers of African migrants trying to get to Europe from launch-pad-Libya (we should call it Hillary’s invasion of Europe!). Here is one at CNN:
Calm seas, desperate migrants and ruthless human traffickers all played a role in a record-breaking weekend of maritime rescues in the Mediterranean Sea between Italy and Libya.
But even as the rescue vessels race against time to save lives, another battle is brewing with accusations from the European Union’s border control agency Frontex against nongovernmental organizations like Doctors Without Borders and the Mobile Offshore Aid Station, or MOAS, that run so-called charity rescue ships. Frontex says the charity rescue vessels create a pull factor for migrants and traffickers; the NGOs say they are out there in the absence of an EU strategy to save lives at sea and a lack of initiative to provide a safe corridor option for migration and asylum.
On Sunday evening in Italy, the Italian Coast Guard estimated the number of those rescued since Friday was approaching 7,000, though that number will surely grow as a steady stream of rubber dinghies and rickety wooden fishing vessels were still being spotted off the coast of Libya.
[….]
In a press release, MOAS co-founder and director Regina Catrambone agreed. “Every day people continue to risk their lives while we, as civil society, stand witness. We must continue to call on European governments to act so that people, such as those rescued by us today, do not die, not in Libya nor in the Mediterranean Sea.”
Much more here.
For those who think this doesn’t affect you in America, it does. We have an extensive archive on the fact that we have been taking some of the illegal migrants who reach the island nation of Malta to your towns as refugees. Here is one recent post.
Our ‘Invasion of Europe’ archive is here.
Invasion of Europe news….
Europe is in the mess it is in because leaders in Brussels did not have the will to stop the migration from the Middle East and North Africa in its earliest days. It would have only taken a few boats being turned back to the African coast and to the Turkish coast to stop the whole damn thing!
Europe has been invaded and at least these countries understand that Europe will become a Muslim continent in a few decades if they too take in the mostly Muslim migrants. Visegrad group attack dogs!
I love the name of this group of countries in the title to this story at Euractiv.com:
Visegrad Four slam ‘blackmail’ by Brussels on migrants
Leaders from the Czech Republic, Hungary, Slovakia and Poland (the Visegrád Four) rejected yesterday (28 March) what they called Brussels’ use of “blackmail and diktat” over planned resettlements of migrants across the EU.
Long opposed to sharing the burden of hosting mainly Syrian refugees, the four eastern EU states ruled out any links between accepting them and future disbursements of EU funds.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Visegr%C3%A1d_Group
Eastern EU states “will never accept blackmail and diktat” on migration policy, Polish Prime Minister Beata Szydło said at a press conference in Warsaw with her Czech, Hungarian and Slovak counterparts.
Czech Prime Minister Bohuslav Sobotka insisted that all four countries “oppose linking the debate about migration to European funds”.
“This is blackmail, that we reject in the name of the Slovak government,” added Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico.
EU members have until September to take in 160,000 refugees from Syria and elsewhere currently living in Greece and Italy, which have been on the frontline of the migration crisis.
So far only 13,500 have been relocated in a laborious process that has been bogged down by resistance from central and eastern European states that oppose Muslim immigration.
This month, the EU warned that countries could be punished if they fail to share the burden, raising the possibility of fines on member states.

Attack dog or whipped puppy?
If President Donald Trump wanted to regain momentum after the courts shut him down on his EO on migration from terror-producing states, he should invite leaders of the Visegrad Four to the White House. That sure would send a message and distract the media!
At this moment on the issue of refugees Trump is looking like a whipped puppy! I checked the admissions just now and since March 16th, when the 120-day moratorium was supposed to begin (a pause he did not have to include in an Executive Order where the courts could, and did, constrain him), we have admitted another 587 refugees!
What ever happened to the order to stop booking travelafter March 3rd. The Dept. of State can do that without an Executive Order!
Surely this continued flow is what is giving the contractors some reason to say they are “cautiously hopeful.”
Invasion of Europe news….
I’m not going to let you all forget that it was Hillary and her girls who were responsible for the overthrow of Libyan strongman Muammar Ghaddafi that resulted in the opening of the flood gates from Africa to Europe for tens of thousands of mostly economic migrants from the heart of Africa to countries like Italy geographically on the frontline of the invasion.
Even Obama didn’t have the stomach for the slaughter of Ghaddafi. I followed the whole sorry tale from its earliest days here at RRW. Susan Rice, Hillary and Samantha Power. Hillary admitted that in 2011 Obama was reluctant to follow Europe’s lead and get involved in Libya, but that she marshaled the forces (including Susan Rice and Samantha Power) to persuade Obama to help overthrow Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi. Ultimately, she said, it was the President’s decision thereby tossing blame back on Obama when the results of her actions have proven so disastrous. https://refugeeresettlementwatch.org/2015/10/23/hillary-and-the-girls-are-to-blame-for-libyan-hellhole-european-invasion/
Of course the Europeans made that fatal mistake in the earliest days of the invasion by not turning back (using safe methods) the first boats that were launched from the Libyan coast. Now they rescue each one sending a signal to people smugglers to keep ’em coming!
Italy will host a meeting between European and North African countries next week in a bid to strengthen support for an agreement it struck with Libya to fight people smuggling as migrant arrivals surge.
The prime minister of the UN-backed government in Tripoli, Fayez Al-Seraj, will meet with Italian Prime Minister Paolo Gentiloni and interior ministers from eight European countries including Germany and France on Monday.
Last month, Italy pledged money, training and equipment to help Libya fight people smugglers, a deal that was endorsed by European Union member states.
But Libya is still far from stable. Two governments are vying for power – in Tobruk to the east and Tripoli to the west – and the country remains mired in factional fighting and lawlessness.
The authorities in eastern Libya have rejected the deal struck between Rome and Tripoli.
“I’m not so naive as to not understand the situation there,” Italian Interior Minister Marco Minniti told reporters. “But we cannot remain immobile and wait for the country to stabilise.”
He said the Libya agreement and next week’s meeting were not just “talk”, but strategic steps toward managing mass migration to Europe.
So far this year more than 16,000 migrants – a 36 per cent increase on the same period last year – have been rescued at sea and brought to Italy after Libya-based people smugglers piled them onto flimsy boats.
Don’t miss Hillary cackling about her success in killing Gaddafi. She looks like an absolute loon here:
Another version of Hillary’s looney laugh, is here. Don’t you think it might be too early for her to come out of the woods!

Holland’s future or not? If left unchecked, the Turks and the Moroccans will outbreed the Dutch. It is a fact.
I’ve mentioned before that I watch CNN every morning while my coffee is perking. I recommend it to all of you because one is instantly oriented to what the political Left is going to harp on for the day.
This morning they were aghast at the remark Rep. Steve King tweeted in relationship to tomorrow’s election in Holland where Geert Wildershas a shot at winning.
(By the way, I also recommend tweeting to all of you. If you follow the right sites and people, it is the fastest way to get breaking news—even better than Drudge. You don’t have to tweet yourselves, just get an account and follow certain people. Then, throughout the day, check in to see what is breaking around the world! I tweet a lot of news out that I never have time to write about.)
Here is what got Rep. Steve King in hot water with the Lefties at CNN.
Isn’t this the absolute truth! The Dutch election tomorrow is about saving Holland and Western Civilization!
Western Civilization is under assault: “If this continues, our culture will cease to exist.”
(A Dutch citizen of Amsterdam told The Washington Post this week)
All eyes will be on the Dutch election scheduled for this Wednesday!
And, if things couldn’t be more tense in the lead-up to election day, last night Turkish Muslim protestors were driven from the streets of Rotterdam by mounted police officers and water cannons.
Trumpeted The Sun:
THE BATTLE OF ROTTERDAM Dutch riot cops use batons, water cannon and horse charges to clear thousands of Turkish protesters in Rotterdam
DUTCH riot police have broken up protests by supporters of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan after Turkish ministers were barred from speaking at a rally in the Netherlands.
Hundreds of demonstrators gathered outside the Turkish consulate in Rotterdam last night after cops prevented Turkey’s family minister from entering the building.
The Washington Post, in a lengthy story written before the Battle of Rotterdam last night, tells us what is at stake on Wednesday:
Anti-immigrant anger threatens to remake the liberal Netherlands
AMSTERDAM — Xandra Lammers lives on an island in Amsterdam, the back door of her modern and spacious four-bedroom house opening onto a graceful canal where ducks, swans and canoes glide by.
The translation business she and her husband run from their home is thriving. The neighborhood is booming, with luxury homes going up as fast as workers can build them, a quietly efficient tramway to speed residents to work in the world-renowned city center, and parks, bike paths, art galleries, beaches and cafes all within a short amble.
By outward appearances, Lammers is living the Dutch dream. But in the 60-year-old’s telling, she has been dropped into the middle of a nightmare, one in which Western civilization is under assault from the Muslim immigrants who have become her neighbors.
“The influx has been too much. The borders should close,” said Lammers, soft-spoken with pale blue eyes and brown hair that frames a deceptively serene-looking face. “If this continues, our culture will cease to exist.”
The stakes have risen sharply as Europeans’ anti-establishment anger has swelled. In interviews across the Netherlands in recent days, far-right voters expressed stridently nationalist, anti-immigrant views that were long considered fringe but that have now entered the Dutch mainstream.
Voters young and old, rich and poor, urban and rural said they would back the Geert Wilders-led Freedom Party — no longer the preserve of the “left-behinds” — which promises to solve the country’s problems by shutting borders, closing mosques and helping to dismantle the European Union.
“They’ve found a very powerful narrative,” said Koen Damhuis, a researcher at the European University Institute who studies the far right. “By creating a master conflict of the national versus the foreign, they’re able to attract support from all elements of society.”
Ronald Meulendijks has a poster of Geert Wilders in his IJburg apartment. “I think Holland will need a civil war,” he said, “between the people who don’t belong here and the real people.” (Michael Robinson Chavez/The Washington Post)
[….]
“The main issue is identity,” said Joost Niemöller, a journalist and author who has written extensively on Wilders and is sympathetic to his cause. “People feel they’re losing their Dutch identity and Dutch society. The neighborhoods are changing. Immigrants are coming in. And they can’t say anything about it because they’ll be called racist. So they feel helpless. Because they feel helpless, they get angry.”
Echoing a theme I’ve heard on my travels everywhere in America:
“A government has to treat its own people correctly before accepting new ones. First, you must take care of your own.”
And if the government fails, Meulendijks has dark visions of what’s to come.
“I think Holland will need a civil war,” he said, “between the people who don’t belong here and the real people.”

Did the civil war begin in Rotterdam, last night?
Americans should be enormously thankful that we have a window on our own future as we watch the invasion of the European continent. And, now that Donald Trump is in office, we, God-willing, will not go down the path Europe has been on for way too long. Go herefor our complete ‘Invasion of Europe’ archive. And, here for The Netherlands, Geert Wilders, here.
BTW, we heard Wilders speakas a side event at CPAC 8 years ago (2009). It was a side event because the organizers of CPAC refused his presence on the main program. (CPAC organizers have been notoriously Republican establishment dolts who never understood where the people were headed on the issues of Islam and immigration.)
