Updates: Italy refuses another migrant ship; Germany's Merkel less popular, but holding on

The migrants “will only see Italy on a postcard.”

(Italian Interior Minister Matteo Salvini)

While many of us are fixated on our own migrant invasion at the border, Europe is in a tizzy as Italy refuses a docking request from a second migrant ferry (aka rescue boat) from Libya.

US has greatest number of asylum claims of any country in world, far surpassing Germany!

I’ve been warning that the US must not become Germany, but this morning I see that we are there already!

Merkel and Trump
Dear Donald: Follow Angela Merkel’s lead on asylum seekers at your great peril!

Before I give you the latest news about the numbers, you need to know that asylum is just another side of the refugee coin.
The only difference is that, in the case of refugees we admit through the US Refugee Admissions Program, we screen them (supposedly), pick them up abroad, and fly them to the US.
In the case of asylum seekers, they get to the US on their own initiative and then ask for asylum and that is what is happening at the southern border this very minute—-tens of thousands claiming they are entitled to asylum.
(For those who are scratching your heads and asking why we aren’t just loading them up and sending them back across the border, if they claim asylum (as per the 1951 UN Convention on the Status of Refugees), we must hear their claims.  They are all being trained by Leftist handlers to ask for asylum.)

More of Australia's rejected migrants headed to your American city

It has been quiet for awhile—months I believe—since we’ve heard of another shipment of Australia’s rejected asylum seekers to America in that dumb deal Obama made and Trump is continuing.

Manus island detainees
Some of these men are your new neighbors!

Unlike feckless European leaders, Australia’s government at the time, rightly and successfully, blocked the arrival of migrant boats about five years ago and apprehended those trying to break in to the country.  They were packed off to offshore island detention centers and efforts were made to get them to return to where they came from.
Most didn’t, and Obama rode to the rescue and said, sure, send these ‘refugees’ to America.
(Readers, this is a completely unorthodox and possibly illegal use of the Refugee Admissions Program.)
None had arrived yet when Donald Trump first set foot in the White House, so he could have (should have!) stopped the airlift before it began.  He didn’t and they are coming to a town near you—mostly Muslims, mostly men, from Pakistan, Afghanistan and Burmese Rohingya.
New batch is on the way…

'Aquarius' becomes the war cry of the Roman church against the new Italian government

Readers, when the Italian government held firm and sent the so-called ‘rescue ship’ Aquarius packing it drew the battle lines with the Italian Catholic Church—that is what the church is saying!

Hey Spain! You are next!

I’m writing about this story again today because it represents a critical juncture for the future of Europe.
There is hope (I think!) as I wrote a couple of days ago, here, for the survival of Western Civilization in its birthplace, but action to save it must be swift and happen NOW.
Here is the Crux headline (Taking the Catholic pulse):

Italian Church and new government finally face off over Aquarius

(The subtitle could be: The Catholic Church shows its daggers)

Stalemate at sea ended: Spain welcomed over 600 migrants, mostly men, rejected by Italy, Malta

Yesterday I told you that the Italian government refused entry to a so-called “rescue ship” that had picked up over 600, mostly African illegal aliens, from waters off Libya.
Italy first!
These transport ships have had free passage to Italy for years, but all that is ending now that the Italians have elected a government willing to save Italy for Italians!
