Hebrew Immigrant Aid Society urges followers to take to the streets in wake of Supreme Court decision

The Trump Administration has been an unrelenting 17 month assault against America’s values as a nation welcoming of immigrants and refugees.

(Mark Hetfield, CEO of the Hebrew Immigrant Aid Society)

You all know what happened in the Supreme Court yesterday.  In a nutshell, the court affirmed that the President of the US has the power to limit immigration.
However, the Hebrew Immigrant Aid Society one of the primary groups that sued the Administration from day one about the so-called Muslim ban isn’t giving up and is urging its followers to participate in anti-Trump rallies coordinated by Linda Sarsour’s group MPower!

Sure, they should have free speech, but not on the taxpayer’s dime!

In the NGO salary sweeps, Juan Sanchez has David Miliband beat by a mile!

As I mentioned the other day, the issue of the border crossing kids is one I discussed back in the Obama days rather extensively, but the ‘children,’ the mostly unaccompanied teenage boys crossing our borders, are not refugees and so the issue isn’t at the top of my radar screen right now.

Juan Sanchez
Juan Sanchez, doing well by doing good!

And, the subject is ably covered by so many others.
That said, I do get some pleasure out of demonstrating that Leftwing do-gooders, whose hearts bleed for the children, also happen to be raking in big government bucks from you—the US taxpayer—for their good works.
Southwest Key Programs is one example.  You can read more about it here at wikipedia .  It is largely funded with government grants and contracts.
Reader Mary alerted me to the huge taxpayer-funded salary its President and CEO Juan Sanchez is pulling down.  CNN says it is now at $1.5 million.
I find it amusing that now that Trump is in office these outrageous taxpayer supported NGO salaries are suddenly newsworthy.
David Miliband (CEO of another federal contractor—-The International Rescue Committee) is a piker at $671,749.
The most recent Form 990 I could find (tax year ending in August 2016) for Southwest Key Programs is this one from Obama’s time in office—clearly the Obama ORR was shelling out big bucks to care for detained children.

Almost completely government funded….

And, here is the salaries page….

These are salaries you pay for care of the illegal alien children until they are released in to America when sponsors are found, or upon turning 18!

UNHCR meets in Switzerland: Gap widens between numbers of needy people and welcoming countries

What else is new!

I’ve been following this issue for over ten years and I have never seen the UNHCR report anything but doom and gloom—more people than ever (every year!) need to be resettled in a better country than the one they left. Nothing changes while the US taxpayer foots most of the bill!***

And, heck, we haven’t yet reached the “migrant apocalypse” stage yet.

International Rescue Committee says US businesses need more low wage workers

I’ve never thought this was a good argument to be pushed by the supposed ‘humanitarians’ receiving millions from the US taxpayer to place refugees in hundreds of US towns and cities, but they are doing it in the age of Trump.

Unwelcome report
Report was released on World Refugee Propaganda Day.   https://www.rescue.org/report/unwelcome-state-refugee-resettlement-america

Hurting most from the slowdown in the arrival of fresh grunt laborers (aka refugees), according to a new report from the International Rescue Committee headed by former British Labor Party official, David Miliband, are employers in key U.S. industries—including manufacturing, hospitality and meatpacking!

Why must US taxpayers subsidize big business?

If those industries can’t fill their labor needs, maybe they need to raise wages!
And, besides why is it the taxpayers’ duty to subsidize globalists like the BIG MEAT giants by supplying them with third world laborers while paying fake humanitarian groups, like the IRC, gobs of money to sign them up for welfare to supplement those meager wages before moving on to the next fresh batch of paying clients.

Honduran mother is poster child for asylum fraudsters at southern border

Every one of you who tweets or has a facebook page, a website, or an e-mail list must get this news out to everyone before that shameful Time Magazine cover becomes the definition of Trump’s policy at the border.
This really steams me!

Trump Time crying baby
Ultimate FAKE News!

First, the little crying girl was NOT separated from her mother.
The mother paid a smuggler $6,000 to get her to Texas. Where did she get that kind of money?
The mother left behind a husband (who has a good job and wants her back!) and three other YOUNG children.
The mother left Honduras without saying goodbye or informing her husband that she was taking the baby on a dangerous journey.

Forget the poster baby!

The mother is a poster child for asylum fraudsters as she has no reason to request political asylum.

Ship them both back to Honduras and send a message far and wide.

From the Daily Mail:

The father of the Honduran girl who became the face of the family separation crisis has revealed that he still has not been in touch with his wife or daughter but was happy to learn they are safe.

Husband:  I asked her, why? Why would she want to put our little girl through that?

Denis Javier Varela Hernandez, 32, said that he had not heard from his wife Sandra, 32, who was with his two-year-old daughter Yanela Denise, for nearly three weeks until he saw the image of them being apprehended in Texas.
In an exclusive interview with DailyMail.com, Hernandez, who lives in Puerto Cortes, Honduras, says that he was told yesterday that his wife and child are being detained at a family residential center in Texas but are together and are doing ‘fine.’
[….]

He revealed that his wife had previously mentioned her wish to go to the United States for a ‘better future’ but did not tell him nor any of their family members that she was planning to make the trek.

‘I didn’t support it. I asked her, why? Why would she want to put our little girl through that? But it was her decision at the end of the day.’

He said that Sandra had always wanted to experience ‘the American dream’ and hoped to find a good job in the States.

Denis, who works as a captain at a port on the coast of Puerto Cortes, explained that things back home were fine but not great, and that his wife was seeking political asylum.

Asylum from what?

So much for the children, this woman left behind two other young daughters and a son.  Send her back!

He said that Sandra set out on the 1,800-mile journey with the baby girl on June 3, at 6am, and he has not heard from her since.

‘I never got the chance to say goodbye to my daughter and now all I can do is wait’, he said, adding that he hopes they are either granted political asylum or are sent back home.

[….]

Denis said that he believes the journey across the border is only worth it to some degree, and admits that it’s not something he would ever consider.

He said he heard from friends that his wife paid $6,000 for a coyote – a term for someone who smuggles people across the border.

[….]

I wouldn’t risk my life for it. It’s hard to find a good job here and that’s why many people choose to leave. But I thank God that I have a good job here. And I would never risk my life making that journey.’

More here and more photos at the Daily Mail.  The photos reveal that this woman is in no way in danger of anything!
