Europe: Landmark Case Confirms European Countries Can Stop Migrants Illegally Crossing Their Borders

Invasion of Europe news….

Too bad that this decision is at least ten years too late.  But maybe just in time.  Perhaps one of the primary driving forces that saw the UK vote to get out of the European Union was a desire to control their own borders.

And, when I say it might be just in time, when I saw this news from Gatestone this morning all I could think of was what the heck is Europe going to do if the Coronavirus spreads to Africa—will panic set in and will millions (more) try to make it to Europe where medical treatment would surely be better?

Here is Soeren Kern at Gatestone:

The case involved Africans breaking into Ceuta and Melilla, Spanish territory that joins Morocco.

Spain: European Court Approves Summary Deportations of Illegal Migrants

In a landmark decision that will have potentially seismic implications for immigration policy in Europe, the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) has ruled that Spain acted lawfully when it summarily deported two migrants who illegally tried to enter Spanish territory.

Attempting to set foot on European soil, African migrants have been for years rushing the border fence between Morocco and Spanish territory.

The Strasbourg-based court — which has jurisdiction over 47 European countries, and whose rulings are binding on all 27 member states of the European Union — ruled that in order for migrants to benefit from certain human rights protections, such as access to lawyers, interpreters and the right to remain in Europe, they must first enter European territory in a legal, as opposed to an illegal, manner.

The ruling, which effectively authorizes European governments summarily to deport illegal migrants immediately at the border, transfers some decision-making powers on immigration back to European nation states.

The ruling is being viewed as a major victory for those who believe that sovereign nation states have the right to decide who is and is not allowed to enter their territory.

Continue reading here especially to see that the human rights industry is not happy.

Coronavirus as a driver of mass migration?

I’ve been thinking about this in recent days so this is a good time to mention it.  What happens if (when) the Coronavirus reaches Africa (beyond Egypt), will panic set in? Will there be a rush to find better medical care?

See where it is this week (and notice that it is not contained to only cold places of the world, since it is hot in Australia at the moment).

President Trump Signs New Travel Ban—Six More Countries, Refugees Exempt

The President is busy!

Not letting the impeachment show slow him down, yesterday, the President, in an abundance of caution, added more countries to the so-called travel ban bringing the total to 13 countries to see travel curtailed to the US.

However, as in the case of the first ban, refugees are exempt.

And, let me say here, if any of the nine federal refugee contractors (whose salaries we, taxpayers, pay) run out and hire lawyers or even open their mouths in opposition to protecting our safety when refugees are not banned, then they show themselves as nothing more than partisan anti-Trump agitators advancing an open borders agenda while hiding under their white hats of phony humanitarianism.

Here is my post from last month about the proposed ban.

Last month I also mentioned the upcoming travel restrictions at ‘Frauds and Crooks’ because over at that blog I have an extensive archive on Nigerian crooks and killers and Nigeria is included in the new Presidential order.

Here is a small portion of a detailed account from the Washington Post:

Trump expands long-standing immigration ban to include six more countries, most in Africa

President Trump added six countries to his administration’s travel ban Friday — including Nigeria, Africa’s most populous country — in a widely anticipated expansion that Democrats blasted as “clearly discriminatory” against people from predominantly black and Muslim nations.

Nancy Pelosi has announced that the House will vote to stop the ban. Earlier this week MN Rep. Ilhan Omar led a rally against the President.

Citing national security concerns, officials at the Department of Homeland Security and the State Department said Trump’s proclamation would bar most citizens of Nigeria, Eritrea, Myanmar and Kyrgyzstan from coming to work and live in the United States. Two nations, Tanzania and Sudan, would be banned from applying for the visa lottery, which issues up to 50,000 visas a year worldwide to countries with historically low migration to the United States. [Maybe in Trump’s next turn we can get this insane visa lottery killed.—ed]

The new ban takes effect Feb. 22….

[….]

The policy will now limit immigration from 13 countries.

[….]

Added to robust measures at the U.S. southern border that have curbed Central American migration in recent months, the targeting of immigrant visas also allows the president to advance his goal of reducing family-based migration. [Also known as chain migration—ed]

Trump, in a proclamation issued Friday, said the countries were chosen after an extensive evaluation that examined travel security and measures, and national security threats in dozens of countries; those that made the list were chosen from a recommendation that U.S. officials made in January.

“The six additional countries recommended for restrictions in the January 2020 proposal are among the worst performing in the world,”Trump said in the proclamation, but he said he was encouraged by their “willingness to work with the United States” to correct the deficiencies.

[….]

Refugees from the six countries are exempt from the ban.

[….]

The current ban prohibits immigrant and most temporary forms of travel to the United States for citizens of Iran, Libya, Somalia, Syria, Yemen and North Korea, as well as certain visits for some Venezuelan government officials. All but two, Venezuela and North Korea, are majority Muslim. Trump in 2018 complained about accepting too many immigrants from Africa, Haiti and El Salvador, which he labeled “shithole countries.”

Much more here.

Take time to thank the President!

And, then get to work for his re-election because you will never see anything like this if the Dems take the White House in November.

Uganda: UN Re-opens Corruption Investigation at Camp Where US-bound Refugees are Housed

I’ve been sounding like a broken record when I continue to report that we are taking tens of thousands of DR Congolese refugees (housed in camps like this one) at the behest of the United Nations.

Nakivale’s camp sign, where corruption is alleged, is meaningful. Hijra is the Islamic doctrine of migration and although they don’t say it, it means spreading Islam via immigration.

In fact, the DR Congolese make up the largest number of refugees being admitted to the US right now, during the Trump administration, even as Congolese elsewhere in Africa are going home.  See here.

In case you are wondering, most Congolese are not Muslims, but a small number being admitted to the US are.

The Uganda camp sounded familiar to me, so I went to my archives to see if I had written about Nakivale and sure enough I had, in 2010, when we were taking thousands of Somalis from that camp.

(It is no wonder the speech police wanted RRW removed from the worldwide web, there is a heckuva lot of information archived here!)

Here is what I reported nearly ten years ago in a post entitled:

Are you sitting down! UN sending 6000 more Somalis to US this year

The Obama administration agreed to take that number from Nakivale camp in Uganda because the Somalis could not get along with the other refugees in the camp.

An article that has now been removed quoted a source who said this:

Explaining the reason of resettling Somalis to the US, Katura said Somali refugees have failed to integrate with other refugee groups living in Nakivale and with the local communities because of their unique language and culture.  [This is insane, they can’t get along with other African people but they are going to jump into the mythical American melting pot and come out as just good old regular Americans!—ed]

Later, in 2017, we learned that some of the Nakivale Somalis went to Minnesota thanks to Catholic Charities, here.

Earlier this year we heard about the allegations of fraud and corruption in the UN system in Africa, here, and this news is a continuation of a supposed effort by the UN to find out exactly how alleged corruption is occurring.

From 100 Reporters:

UN Refugee Agency Reopens Corruption Investigation

Refugee Sources Report Retaliation After Speaking Out

The United Nations is investigating allegations of corruption among employees at a Ugandan refugee camp following a 100Reporters investigation, but victims say they face retaliation for testifying and that the UN is not protecting them.

In a story published in partnership with NBC News and Journalists for Transparency, refugees at the Nakivale settlement in southwest Uganda said employees and contractors working for the UN Refugee Agency, the UNHCR, as well as local police and employees of the Ugandan government’s Office of the Prime Minister and police, were demanding bribes for everything from access to essential services, including medical referrals, to resettlement in Europe or the U.S.

The reporting came as part of a broader investigation this spring, in which dozens of refugees in East Africa accused UNHCR staff and contractors of exploiting refugees and whitewashing corruption charges.

Refugees interviewed said they felt they had nowhere to turn when they witnessed corruption, as they had to rely on the UNHCR, whose mandate is to protect them, for food, medicine and safety.

A UNHCR spokesperson denied the allegations of wrongdoing at the time the stories were published. But staff are now carrying out interviews with refugee witnesses at the Nakivale refugee settlement and elsewhere.

More here.

Continue reading because there is a question about whether the UN is looking for fraud and corruption, or trying to find out how allegations of fraud reached the mainstream media’s ears!

Maddening isn’t it!

First we took thousands of Somalis from this camp and now we are taking thousands more Congolese just because the UN wants us to take them off their hands.

Endnote: Just had a quick look at the data at the Refugee Processing Center and see that we processed a whopping 2,697 refugees into the US from Uganda in the last fiscal year.  See here(Don’t look at the colored map it is messed up, look at the chart and scroll down to Uganda.)

Italy: See why the Italians are so ticked-off

Invasion of Europe news…..

France has admitted that it ‘mistakenly’ dropped a couple of African migrants (supposedly minors) off into Italy.  See earlier story.

Since it is directly on the Mediterranean, Italy gets the brunt of the migrant invasion while France plays the phony welcoming holier-than-thou nation (along with Germany) in the EU.

Macron and Salvini angry
French President Macron says he is the main opponent of the European nationalists represented by Italy’s Matteo Salvini

The row between France and Italy continued yesterday in the wake of the latest border incident.

From The Express:

Matteo Salvini accuses France of forcing unaccompanied child migrants back to Italy

ITALY’S far-right Interior Minister Matteo Salvini has accused France of pushing two unaccompanied child migrants back into Italy, further straining relations with Paris.

Mr Salvini, the head of Italy’s ultra-conservative League party, said on Twitter: “France tried to send child migrants back to Italy: this happened on October 18, at 10.30pm, but we managed to block the procedure.”

[….]

Tensions between Rome and Paris have reached boiling point in recent months, with Italy’s populist government accusing France and other member states of failing to share the burden of the hundreds of thousands of migrants who have reached Italy by boat since 2013.

While French President Emmanuel Macron has denounced Italy’s anti-immigrant policies, positioning himself as the “main opponent” to Europe’s nationalists, Mr Salvini has accused him of encouraging illegal immigration and of turning a blind eye to Europe’s migration crisis.

[….]

The head of the Hautes-Alpes region admitted that its police had crossed the border, calling the incursion an honest mistake.

[….]

Mr Salvini, for his part, said on Saturday that extra police officers had been deployed to “control and guard” the shared border.

And, no wonder that Italy is turning back the migrant transport ships!

Thousands of migrants are caught each year trying to enter France and returned to the Italian border.

And, you wonder why Italy has budget problems?

France has sent back to Italy more than 45,000 migrants since January, according to the French interior ministry.

Corruption and bribery alleged in UN refugee office in Sudan

And, the allegations are coming from a humanitarian publication under the UN umbrella.
Why do you care?
Because the UN High Commissioner for Refugees is the first stop for most refugees coming to your towns. (We took 53 from Sudan in the last 7 months).
This is just more evidence that the US State Department should be cutting the umbilical cord to the United Nations Refugee Program. If we are going to be taking refugees from third world hell holes we should be doing the choosing and the processing without UN ‘help.’
(Don’t miss the chart below showing the UN as the first step in the screening of refugees to be your new neighbors!)
You know this is going on everywhere!
