Conservative Review on Chattanooga and our LEGAL immigration system admitting potential jihadists

Here is a piece I missed from last Friday at Conservative Review written by one of the sharpest policy minds in the blogosphere, Daniel Horowitz.

After 9/11, when the bipartisan 9/11 Commission identified the obvious root cause of the attack as an immigration problem, we doubled down on stupidity. The U.S. has admitted roughly 1.6 million individuals from predominantly Muslim countries since 9/11 – twice the rate of immigration from that part of the world relative to the previous decade.

According to a new poll commissioned by the Center for Security Policy, 51% of Muslims in America believe “Muslims in America should have the choice of being governed according to sharia.” Twenty-nine percent agree that violence against those who insult Mohammad is acceptable and 25% agree that violence against America can be justified as part of Global Jihad. Among males under the age of 45 that number rises to 36%. Twenty-nine percent of males under 45 believe that violence against America is justified in order to make Sharia the law of the land. With an estimated 3 million Muslims in this country (projected to triple by 2050), that could mean there are hundreds of thousands of radicalized ones.

The more precipitously Muslim immigrants are admitted to this country, the less likely they will assimilate and the more likely they will cluster in cities and cultivate a climate of Jihad. The numbers speak for themselves. This is by no means the majority of Muslims, but 25% support for Jihad is an awful lot of security risks, especially among young males.

I suggest a fourth! In addition to holding up the Syrian resettlement, we need a moratorium on all immigration from countries that hate us and it isn’t simply to avoid more terror attacks, it is to stop the Hijra! Hijra is the insidious Islamic Doctrine of immigration—Mohammed told his followers to go forth and spread Islam across the world and they are doing it! That (for me) is the existential threat facing America. It may take them decades to achieve their goal, but they work on the migration jihad every single day as we simply talk about terrorism in the short term.
By the way, I was glad to see that Horowitz has screen shots from the State Department data base I mention frequently.

Baltimore: Taking care of refugee kids at the expense of poor African American kids?

Recently we told you that the refugee resettlement contractors are pouring third world poor people into a caldron of poverty and violence in Baltimore.
Does that make any sense to anyone? One of the most frequently asked questions I get when speaking to a group just being introduced to our 35-year-old refugee program is: Why aren’t we taking care of our own poor people first?

Here is one more example of how money is being thrown at the refugee population when Baltimore is a hell-hole where we learned the African American community is not thrilled by the cultural diversity inserted into their neighborhoods.

The Baltimore City Community College Refugee Youth Project seeks to improve the lives of Baltimore’s youngest refugees by supporting their academic needs and making their acculturation simple and meaningful.

RYP is committed to its mission of creating a safe environment for refugee children to improve their literacy skills, enhance their knowledge of American culture, engage in enriching extracurricular activities, and grow to be confident, caring individuals.
Goals:

~Furnish homework help, enhancing core academic skills, in a safe after-school space

~Provide refugee youth general and targeted practice of the English language

~Prevent high school refugees from dropping out and assist high school seniors with transitioning to college or a career program

~Promote creative self-expression to build self-esteem, foster a sense of community among diverse populations and explore themes of cultural identity

~Educate the Baltimore community about young refugees and their families being resettled in the surrounding area

What We Do

Since 2003, the Refugee Youth Project has been providing quality after-school and mentoring programs for newly-arrived refugees between the ages of 4 and 21. It was established when refugee and asylee parents taking adult ESL (English as a Second Language) classes at Baltimore City Community College became concerned with the academic success of their children. RYP began with one site and 12 children and has since expanded to meet the needs of over 300 pre-K through 12th grade students in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.

The Refugee Youth Project currently serves newcomers from over 17 different countries, including Bhutan, Burma, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Eritrea, Iraq, Afghanistan, Mauritania and Sudan.

I haven’t the time to do the research, but if you do, please check and see if there is federal money involved here for Baltimore City Community College. Surely there are state and local tax dollars being spent.

CAIR joins the gang to celebrate Immigrant Heritage Month (to change America by changing the people?)

Before you read CAIR’s press release check out the gang at Welcome.us. Some of CAIR’s partners include: LaRaza, Welcoming America, SEIU, International Rescue Committee and facebook! There are also colleges, public libraries and Chambers of Commerce in the group.
They are gathering immigrant “stories.” If you haven’t noticed, leftwing community organizers love telling heartwarming STORIES. The stories are central to their media campaign. They are masters at this storytelling and have boatloads of money from rich foundations to do it.
There is no doubt that some immigrants shaped America in a positive way, but that was then and this is now and the numbers are too great and some of the ethnic groups we are inviting now have no intention of ever assimilating. They are here to change America!
It is our job to balance the news, to make sure the public knows the not-so-heartwarming stories as well and to speak for the average American citizen and worker who sees his or her job and unique American culture being lost!

Temporary Protected Status for Yemeni nationals
While I visited CAIR’s website, I noticed they, and many other Arab-American groups, petitioned the US Department of Homeland Security for Temporary Protected Status (TPS) for Yemenis in the US. I am mentioning this to remind you that there are many other legal immigration programs that must be reformed or abolished! TPS is a scam!

Mark Steyn: the choice is liberty or mass Muslim immigration

Thanks to Infidel Bloggers Alliance for highlighting an important column by Mark Steyn (author of “America Alone”) in which Steyn makes clear what we already know.

Steyn: “You have to choose between liberty and mass Muslim immigration.”

At the end of Steyn’s “Morning After” column (morning after the Islam-inspired terror attack in Copenhagen). Emphasis is mine:

I said above that waiting inside multiculturalism’s Trojan horse was Islam. Not “Islamism”, or “radical Islam”, or “extremist Islam”, or “violent extremism” or “extremist radicalism” or “radicalist violentism” or anything else: just Islam. As I wrote yesterday:

This is usually the point at which we’re expected to do the not-all-Muslims-want-to-shoot-you-dead shtick. And that’s true. But Islam itself has no feeling whatsoever for the spirit of free speech.

The more Islamic a society gets, the less free speech it has – the less intellectual inquiry, artistic achievement, contrarian spirit. Most western Muslims are not willing themselves to open fire on synagogues or Lars Vilks, but they help maintain the shriveled definition of acceptable expression that helps license the fanatics of Copenhagen and Paris. Muslims in Europe, North America and Australia will pay lip service to “free speech”, and then promptly re-define it as excluding speech that “blasphemes” or “insults” their faith – which is to say them. Which is to say the great vulgar, brawling, free-for-all of free societies does not apply to them. So, when, say, France’s Muslim population reaches 20 per cent, you will need to have the support of three-quarters of the remaining 80 per cent to maintain even a bare popular majority in favor of free speech.

Is that likely? Or will there be more and more non-Muslims like the wretched quisling Welsh bishop, the Right Reverend Gregory Cameron, frantically arguing that if you hadn’t been so “offensive” you wouldn’t have caught their eye? Islam and free speech are, as His Miserable Grace implicitly recognizes, incompatible. And ultimately, therefore, you have to choose between liberty and mass Muslim immigration.

The reaction of David Cameron and Helle Thorning-Schmidt suggests they have made their choice. I think, somewhere deep down, they know it’s a recipe for slow societal suicide. And I wonder if, even deeper down, they also know that it won’t be that slow.

By the way, Obama’s (hug a Muslim) speech yesterday tells us that the man is in dreamland—that somehow the US is going to simply ‘melt’ all of our Muslim immigrants in some giant magical melting pot and we will all live happily ever after.

As a secularist, Obama has no understanding of the Islamic imperative that drives the ‘religion’ and is simply naive, or he is complicit in advancing the Islamic agenda in America. Which is it?

Carol Brown says there isn’t a plan at the moment, but gives us a list at American Thinker (yesterday) of what we must do in America as we watch Europe’s potential death in the face of the growing Islamic threat and Western societies (at least the ones which want to survive) reaction to it.

To set the stage (emphasis mine):

We’re facing the greatest national security threat we have ever known and there is no coherent plan to battle the enemy. This nation is so far behind the eight ball, the president and his minions won’t even name the enemy, no less fight it.

Name = Islam

Even worse, those in positions of power and influence misrepresent what the enemy stands for. Like a pre-recorded announcement that just won’t stop, we are endlessly subjected to the false refrain: Islam is a religion of peace. By Muslim lights, we live in the Dar al Harb, the territory of war, simply because we refuse to accept Islam. We didn’t declare war, Mohammed did.

And when it comes to the threat of Islamic supremacism, it’s not only the left that’s putting us at risk. The right is hardly better, as both parties serve up a boatload of ignorance, complicity, and cowardice on a daily basis. Our elected officials draft legislation, set foreign policy, speak at podiums, sit on panels, write press releases, pen op-eds, and yack away on talk shows about the wonders of Islam. If anyone challenges what they’re peddling, the peddlers get rather hot under the collar. As for the truth-tellers, they are mocked, marginalized, and vilified.

And what a truth it is, as we confront a totalitarian ideology bent on world domination ruled by one religion — an ideology that is infecting every aspect of our culture and which has the potential to destroy all of civilization.

Brown goes on with her prescription and from my point of view, this is Brown’s most important step:

Stop immigration from Islamic countries: As seen throughout Europe, it doesn’t take a lot of Muslims to wreak havoc on a nation. To help ensure we don’t wind up like Europe, we must halt all immigration from Islamic countries. The risks are simply too high. No nation has an obligation to allow immigration from any and all countries. And in the case of immigration from Islamic countries, it is impossible to fully vet Muslim immigrants for the following reasons: (1) We cannot know who has an agenda to impose Sharia law (and stats show most support it). (2) We need to recognize that increasing numbers of Muslims who seem like regular folks are morphing into jihadists. (3) We must understand the role that taqiyya (sanctioned deception) plays in any vetting process. Islam is not compatible with Western values. It is not compatible with Judeo/Christian values. It is not compatible with liberty and freedom. It’s illogical to import people from cultures where some, many, or most individuals hate America and want to destroy everything we stand for. (When considering this issue, one should also keep in mind the 3 stages of jihad.)

Numbers matter for the Hijra!
