Occasionally Reuters does us a good service, and they have with this story from Germany.  It is about how many Syrian refugees are not devout Muslims (Reuters uses the word conservative) but are being lured into extremist—Salafist or Wahhabi—mosques that make them uncomfortable.

Hani Salam escaped civil war in Syria and survived the journey from Egypt to Europe. But when he saw men with bushy long beards at a mosque near his current home in Cologne last November, he was worried.

The men’s appearance reminded him of Jaish al-Islam, the Islamist rebels who took over his hometown near Damascus, said Salam, 36, who wears a moustache but no beard. One of them told Salam that “good Muslims grow beards, not moustaches,” he recalled – a centuries-old idea that he dismisses.

“Everything about this mosque made me feel uneasy,” he said.

Syrians in Germany say many of the country’s Arab mosques are more conservative than those at home.

Over two months, a dozen Syrians in six places of worship in three cities told Reuters they were uncomfortable with very conservative messages in Arabic-speaking mosques. People have criticised the way the newcomers dress and practise their religion, they said. Some insisted the Koran be interpreted word-for-word.

The intelligence agency has advised local authorities against housing asylum-seekers near Salafist or Wahhabi mosques.

Continue reading about the different mosques German authorities are attempting to cope with.  And, by the way, the words Salafist and Wahhabi are very definitive and I wonder why we don’t see those words used much in the American press.
What is happening in your American town? What sort of mosque do you have in your neighborhood? And, in what direction will that mosque push the new refugees arriving daily which are placed in the vicinity of a mosque by Catholic Charities, Lutheran Social Services and the Hebrew Immigrant Aid Society (among others). Do they even know what they are doing?

German Chancellor Angela Merkel flung Germany’s gates open wide over a year ago and the world poured in.

Hillary Clinton and Angela Merkel must never be permitted to serve together as leaders of two great world powers!

With tens of thousands seeking asylum (permanent refugee status), the German government gave them a temporary status until their claims could be processed.  That temporary status came with a stipulation that they could not bring their extended family members until granted permanent asylum.
Since then, thousands of refugees have successfully sued using international law.
Beware America!  This is why protecting our national sovereignty is so important!  We cannot permit any treaties or agreements that would allow foreign courts to dictate immigration/refugee policy here (but we may be doing that already!).
What is happening to Germany is why we need to revisit any such agreements if Donald Trump is elected President in a few short weeks.
Here is the news that should be concerning for all Western nations who wish to remain free.

More than 17,000 refugees have complained against the partial asylum status, known as subsidiary protection, offered by the German Government.

On arrival in Germany refugees are given the form of asylum from the Federal Office for Migration and Refugees (BAMF).

But the partial status which means they are safe from being deported, includes a two year ban on families coming to join them.

In the first eight months of this year 90 per cent of refugees who challenged the subsidiary protection status won their case and were granted full rights under the Geneva Refugee Convention.

German police arrested a Syrian refugee who had been granted asylum (that means they had screened him and approved him) after a two day manhunt late yesterday. So much for vetting Syrians!
We do not want to be Europe!

Don’t forget! When Hillary was asked who is the world leader she most admires, she answered German Chancellor Angela Merkel who has allowed a million Middle Eastern and African migrants to invade Germany.

In last night’s debate, it is too bad ‘The Donald’ didn’t mention how the US would be following in Mama Merkel’s foot steps if we elect Hillary as Prez. (But then it’s too easy for us to ‘monday morning quarterback.’)
Here is one of many news accounts about the latest Islamic terror plot in Germany, this one at ABC News:

German police arrested early Monday a Syrian man who is suspected of preparing a bomb attack, following a nearly two-day manhunt.

Jaber Albakr, a 22-year-old who had been granted asylum in Germany, was arrested in the eastern city of Leipzig, police in Saxony state said. Leipzig is around 80 kilometers (50 miles) from Chemnitz, where he had evaded authorities on Saturday and where authorities found explosives.

Police were informed that fellow Syrians were holding the suspect at an apartment in Leipzig, and “immediately went there and arrested him,” Saxony police spokesman Tom Bernhardt said.

German media have reported that Albakr is believed to be connected to Islamic extremist groups, but Saxony police have not commented on his possible motive or the bomb plot’s target.

The explosives were destroyed Saturday in a controlled detonation by bomb squad experts in a pit dug outside the five-story apartment building because they were considered too dangerous to transport.

In July, two attacks carried out by asylum seekers and claimed by the Islamic State group, in which multiple people were injured and the assailants were killed, put Germany on edge — along with two other attacks unrelated to Islamic extremism, including a deadly mall shooting in Munich.

Authorities say Albakr came to Germany in the flood of 890,000 migrants who entered the country in 2015 and had been granted asylum.

Again, dear readers, if he was granted asylum he went through a vetting process and was found to be a stellar candidate to become a NEW German!
Trump’s people should run ads showing the horror show going on in Europe and say that Hillary wants to open the floodgates here too!

Hmmm! Re-migration! Maybe that will save my political hide!

Frustrated with the bureaucracy and homesick for their own homes and the culture from which they came are two reasons given for scores of supposedly persecuted people heading back to the Middle East.
And, this story reminds me, and makes me wonder how many refugees being foisted on American towns at this very minute and finding themselves trapped in jobs at meatpacking plants paying low wages, are wishing they could go home too!

Re-migration!

I’m still pushing for one reform that Congress could easily make happen and that is to set up a repatriation fund to finance the airfare (and maybe a small bit of start-up money) to help unhappy immigrants leave America and go home! (Are leftwingers and Obama going to want to keep unhappy refugees here? Let’s call their bluff! Is it about humanitarianism or something else?)
But, I digress. Here is the news from Breitbart London:

Migrants in the German capital of Berlin are fed up of waiting for their asylum claim and an increasing number are simply heading back to where they came from.

The State Office for Refugee Affairs (LAF) in Berlin has announced that more and more migrants are choosing to voluntarily repatriate to their countries of origin. The reason for the surge in re-migration is down to the Berlin government’s notoriously long wait times when it comes to processing asylum claims.

The number of migrants leaving Berlin has increased over the last year by over 80 per cent Die Welt reports.

Of those returning, migrants from Iraq are the most common, making up 25 per cent Afghanis are second most common, at 20 per cent.

The origin of the migrants is very similar to those who have chosen to go on holiday back to their home countries at German tax payer expense, as revealed earlier this week. Both the willingness to return, either on holiday, or permanently, has led many to question what the migrants were fleeing in the first place when they came to Germany.

More here.  Some are even re-engaging the original people smugglers who brought them to Europe to get them home again.

The best blog to read on what is happening with the invasion of Europe is Gates of Vienna.  Thanks to Diana West (via twitter) for directing me to this post from yesterday.  In this translation from a German publication, we learn first hand about how a disillusioned refugee aid worker came to his decision to quit.

Farewell to Hope

In the end, the farewell was much easier than I thought, which is probably due to the exponential climb of my frustration, on all levels.

I have given up on my voluntary work as an assistant to refugees and migrants.

The many thousands of hours during which I tried to supply real help turned out to be utterly useless. Along with me, three other volunteer workers have also quit. There was no single defining incident. I had begun to notice that, for months, my work was senseless. Senseless in that the majority of the people with whom I dealt did not want to integrate.

I am worried that our society will experience a monumental shift to the right because the pot will boil over in the next election.
