In wake of CA terror attack, our readers in Redlands obviously had reason for concern

By now you know that the killers in San Bernardino were a Muslim husband and wife team who were killed in a gun battle a few hours after the mass murder—Syed Rizwan Farook and Tashfeen Malik.  Their home (some reports say it was booby-trapped) was in Redlands according to the LA Times.
Hours after the terror attack, CAIR Los Angeles came out to distance themselves from what has all the earmarks of a carefully-planned Islamic terror attack (although the media is dancing around calling it that!).

Hussam Ayloush
About six weeks ago, CAIR Director Hussam Ayloush said Tea Party citizens were bigoted and paranoid to fear more Muslim migration to California. Last night he was “praying” for the victims of the latest Islamic terror attack.

We’ve told you about citizens’ concern about more Muslim migration to Redlands here in October!

We don’t know yet how Farook came to be living in Redlands (there are reports that he was born in America to immigrant parents), but officials there scoffed at concerns voiced by Victoria Hargrave who asked her town council to block Muslim refugee resettlement in Redlands.   From our post on Redlands, Hargrave told the council:

Our biggest concern is the safety of our family, our children and our grandchildren,” Victoria Hargrave of Redlands Townhall said the council on Tuesday.

After Hargrave’s plea to the council she was blasted by CAIR Los Angeles Director, Hussam Ayloush, who called her remarks bigoted and rooted in paranoia as we reported here.

Victoria Hargrave of Redlands Townhall said on Wednesday that our nation is based on Judeo-Christian beliefs, and we value freedom of speech, freedom of religion and property rights as protected by the Constitution. She said Muslims reject these values and are coming to America to impose Sharia law.

“This paranoia and phobia is rooted in a combination of ignorance and bigotry,” said Hussam Ayloush, executive director of the Los Angeles chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations and chairman of the Syrian American Council in a telephone interview Wednesday about the Redlands tea party concerns.

Now, Hussam Ayloush is at the microphones “praying” for the victims and distancing his religion from the latest slaughter.
We have been for decades admitting Muslim migrants and learning that the second generation is being radicalized (they become more devout!). Sadly there is no sign of an end in sight now that the Muslim numbers have become so high.
Send us updates and we will post some of those at this post.   We want to know what nationality Farook and Malik were, Pakistani? What legal immigration program brought his parents to America?  What mosque did he attend?  Where did he connect with Malik? Did they have support from ISIS?

Action Alert:  Call your members of the House and Senate at 202-224-3121 and ask them to vigorously oppose the Refugee Resettlement funding contained in the Omnibus Spending Bill that will be voted on by 12-11-15! Please call by this Friday, Dec. 4th

Senator Rand Paul cites KY refugee terrorists/Boston bombers on radio talk show, angers Left

I’m glad to see 2016 Presidential candidate and US Senator Rand Paul annoying the Left as Mediaite reports here.
See our post yesterday where we pointed out that a couple of years ago Paul was an outspoken critic of the program, then had gone underground on the topic.  I guess he is back and his comments about welfare are important.

The Kentucky Iraqi terrorists were “vetted” refugees, but watch for the NO Borders crowd to say that the Tsarnaev (Boston Bomber) brothers were not “refugees.”

Before I get to the news I want to reiterate that those who enter the US either legally or illegally, request asylum, and then are granted political asylum (become asylees) are just as much refugees as those we fly in.  Our present asylum process is also a result of the Refugee Act of 1980 and once someone is granted political asylum they are eligible for all the perks of those we have flown in.  They can also seek out the ‘services’ of the nine major federal resettlement contractors.

asylum graph
This is from the Leftwing Migration Policy Institute, but I urge you to see the report on Refugees and Asylees. This graph shows that in 2013 over 25,000 were granted political refugee status after getting in here in some other way. They came in without screening! http://www.migrationpolicy.org/article/refugees-and-asylees-united-states

But, as the issue continues to cause controversy, the Leftwing agitators will continue to try to cause confusion in the public mind.
Here is Mediaite on Paul (emphasis is mine):

The Republican presidential candidate said the refugee screening process is “absolutely not” rigorous enough to allow migrants into the United States. “The fact that we had two Iraqi refugees posing as refugees come into our country and want to attack us with stinger missiles shows that it wasn’t, and I don’t believe still is, very rigorous,” he said.

“The Boston bombers came here as refugees,” Paul noted. “We coddled them, we gave them free stuff, we gave them free housing, and yet, they decided to attack us, so there’s a great risk.”

Despite accusations that Tamerlan and Dzhokhar Tsarnaev moved to the United States through the refugee program, the family never applied for refugee status to gain entry into the country. Instead, their family arrived on a six-month visa and applied for political asylum once they were in the United States. [You see how the Left spins this, they are just as much refugees as those we have flown in—ed]

“It’s a mistake for the Obama administration to downplay the risk,” Paul said, adding he fought the Obama administration “all week in the Senate and I promise you this battle’s not over.”

Last week, Paul introduced a bill to put a moratorium on U.S. visas for refugees; in a speech to congress, the Kentucky senator argued, “…when the poem beneath the Statue of Liberty says ‘give me your tired, give me your poor,’ it didn’t say come to our country and we’ll put you on welfare.

By the way, when you hear someone say we only bring in 70,000 (soon to be 85,000) refugees, please remember that we also grant asylum to approximately 25,000 more each year, then we admit 50,000 (probably not screened!) in through the absolutely insane ‘Diversity Visa Lottery.’   Hundreds of thousands are here in the ‘Temporary Protected Status’ category, and thousands more through other smaller legal programs, not to mention tens of thousands of unaccompanied alien children.
So, I guess I am saying don’t focus exclusively on the 10,000 Syrians, there is much more danger and expense throughout the system.

Breaking news: New Islamic terror attack underway in Mali, hostages

Religion of Peace strikes again!
It is very early, but reports are that any hostages who can recite passages from the Koran are freed.

hostage taking

From the BBC (minutes ago):

Gunmen have launched an attack on the Radisson Blu Hotel in the centre of Mali’s capital, Bamako, with three hostages reported to have been killed.

Two people have locked in 140 guests and 30 employees in “a hostage-taking situation”, the hotel’s US owners said.

Gunmen entered the hotel, which is popular with expat workers shooting, and shouting “God is great!” in Arabic.

A Malian army commander told the AP news agency that about 20 hostages have been freed.

Those hostages able to recite verses of the Koran were being freed, a security source has told Reuters news agency.

Breitbart has minute by minute updates here.

Yes! Refugees and children of refugees have been connected to terror plots in the US

Abdirahmaan-Muhumed (1)
The No Borders Left and the refugee resettlement contractors (in that conference call yesterday) are telling everyone who will listen that no refugees have committed terror acts, but it just isn’t so.  We have many cases of terror arrests/convictions (and some dreadful murder and rape cases) perpetrated by refugees or their children in the US archived on these pages.
I don’t have the time to dig them all out, but I don’t have to as the UK Daily Mail has pulled them altogether here today and so has Leo Hohmann at World Net Daily, here, yesterday.
Remember this guy?  We learned about him here in 2014 (over 23,000 readers clicked on this post this week!).  Virtually all Somalis in the US are here as refugees or the children of refugees.  The US Refugee Admissions Program has brought in another 827 Somalis in the last six weeks alone.
***Update*** November 19:  A reader reminded me of the Idaho Uzbek refugee terror case, here.

Breaking news from France 24: Eight suspected terrorists arrested in Turkey posing as "refugees"

Invasion of Europe news…..
Everybody is pretty jumpy (assume you are watching news about the terrorist take-down in Paris last night), so not exactly sure where this story is going.  But, for now, something is very suspicious about these eight arrested in Istanbul a few hours ago.

Obama and Erdogan
Obama with pal Turkish Pres. Recep Tayyip Erdogan. I would love to know if in their recent meeting Obama had the guts to ask him why his country is allowing the launch of boats that bring ‘refugees’ to Europe by the thousands every day. If Turkey stopped the boats there would be no invaders arriving in Greece!

From France 24:

ISTANBUL (AFP) –
Turkish police detained eight suspected members of the Islamic State jihadist (IS) group, state media said Wednesday, adding they were planning to sneak into Europe posing as refugees.

Counter-terror police detained the suspects in Istanbul’s Ataturk Airport after they flew in from the Moroccan city of Casablanca on Tuesday, the official Anatolia news agency reported.

The police found a hand-written note on one of the suspects detailing a migration route from Istanbul to Germany via Greece, Serbia and Hungary, including smuggler boats across the Mediterranean Sea, as well as several train and bus journeys.

The eight men told police that they were just tourists who had been planning to spend a few days in Istanbul and had booked rooms at a hotel, but no reservations were found under their names.

Turkey is the main launching point for migrants coming to Europe, and currently hosts over two million Syrian refugees.

Watch for more news today on this and let me know if you see any updates.
Our ‘Invasion of Europe’ archive is here.  Go here and see the interactive map of the daily movement of migrants toward Germany. Yesterday over 3,800 arrived in Greece from Turkey.  BTW, Turkey is one of our major processing countries for refugees entering the US.
