Greece threatens EU: will unleash detained migrants and jihadists on Europe…

….if the EU and the International Monetery Fund leave Greece hanging!

This would be very interesting to see.  The ‘Invasion of Europe’ would surely be on steroids if the Greeks follow through with the threat!

Kammenos, the Greek defence minister: We will send thousands of migrants and jihadists to Berlin!

Greece, Italy, Bulgaria, and Malta are all on the frontiers of the European Union and experiencing the brunt of the invasion by mostly economic migrants from the Middle East and Africa.  Their economies can only stand so much!

From The Telegraph:

Greece will unleash a “wave of millions of economic migrants” and jihadists on Europe unless the eurozone backs down on austerity demands, the country’s defence and foreign ministers have threatened.

The threat comes as Greece struggles to convince the eurozone and International Monetery Fund to continue payments on a £172billion bailout of Greek finances.

Without the funding, Greece will go bust later this month forcing the recession-ravaged and highly indebted country out of the EU’s single currency.

Greece’s border with Turkey is the EU’s frontline against illegal immigration and European measures to stop extremists travelling to and from Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (Isil) bases in Syria and Iraq.

Panos Kammenos, the Greek defence minister, warned that if the eurozone allowed Greece to go bust it would give EU travel papers to illegal immigrants crossing its borders or to the 10,000 currently held in detention centres.

“If they deal a blow to Greece, then they should know the the migrants will get papers to go to Berlin,” he said.

Why not!  Germany loves its mostly Muslim ‘refugees.’

Another refugee off to the slammer on terrorism charges, this one from Afghanistan

Ho hum!  To tell you the truth I’m getting sick of these cases where we generously give “refugees” from Muslim countries asylum and they turn around and become killers, rapists or jihadists and taxpayers then must pay for an expensive trial and support them for years in prison.

Really, there should be a special fund set up in the US State Department budget to pay for the trials and prison time!  I know, I know, it is still taxpayer money, but maybe if it had to come out of the State Department’s hide they might choose refugees more wisely from the list the UN gives them!

From Banning-Beaumont Patch (hat tip: ‘Pungentpeppers’):

Trial of Afghan refugee Sohiel Omar Kabir in Riverside. Sentencing judge: he betrayed our hospitality.

Two Southern California men who planned to commit “violent jihad” against American troops by joining terrorist groups in Afghanistan were each sentenced Monday to 25 years in federal prison.

Sohiel Omar Kabir, 36, of Pomona and Ralph Kenneth DeLeon, 26, of Ontario, were convicted last September following a nearly month long trial at the federal courthouse in downtown Riverside.

Kabir was found guilty of two counts of conspiring to provide material support to terrorists and one count each of conspiring to kill American troops and conspiring to receive military training from al-Qaida.

[….]

In pronouncing sentence for Kabir, Phillips said it was “hard to understate the seriousness of the offense.”

“It wasn’t just talk,” she said. “We’ve seen all too often how little it takes for young men to cause havoc and loss of life. Just because his plan didn’t come to fruition — it doesn’t reduce the seriousness of what he intended to do.”

Kabir’s attorney, Federal Public Defender Jeffrey Aaron, argued for a 10- year prison term, citing mitigating factors, including what he said was his client’s low I.Q. Phillips was not swayed, pointing out that Kabir’s own family had acknowledged he was intelligent, though admittedly “lazy.”

The judge said Kabir had been given every break after his family fled to the U.S. as refugees and were given asylum.

“He is an example of someone who betrayed the hospitality extended to him by this country,” Phillips said.

Yup!

I haven’t forgotten that I have to say more about the Uzbek alleged terrorists we have let in, but I truly am sick of these stories!

Uzbek among three arrested in New York, charged with supporting ISIS

Gee, no surprise here.  Isn’t diversity beautiful!

I haven’t had time today to dredge up all of our Uzbek refugee terrorist stories, but thanks to our many readers who sent me the latest news which I am sure you all have seen or heard today.  Sure hope none of these Jihadist wannabees got in here in the Bush era secret Uzbek airlift of supposed ‘refugees.’  If you want to get started learning more, click here, for our archive on the airlift.

From Newsmax today:

Three men accused of plotting to travel to Syria to join the Islamic State and wage war against the United States were arrested on terrorism charges Wednesday, federal officials said.

Akhror Saidakhmetov, a Brooklyn resident and citizen of Kazakhstan, was arrested at Kennedy International Airport, where he was attempting to board a flight to Istanbul, authorities said.

Abdurasul Hasanovich Juraboev, a resident of Brooklyn and citizen of Uzbekistan, had a ticket to travel to Istanbul next month and was arrested in Brooklyn, federal prosecutors said. Abror Habibov, 30, accused of helping fund Saidakhmetov’s efforts, was arrested in Florida.

Robert Spencer (Jihad Watch): Wouldn’t you think that cutting off the spigot of Islamic immigration would be part of any plan to keep us safe?

Leo Hohmann at World Net Daily has yet another important read about the Refugee Admissions Program of the US State Department and he quotes Islam expert Robert Spencer at Jihad Watch asking that fundamental question about the Obama Administration’s “comprehensive approach” to taking on the ISIS/Islamist threat to America.

World Net Daily (emphasis is mine):

Homeland Security Chief Jeh Johnson warned that a Somalia-based terrorist group is encouraging “independent actors” to carry out attacks in Western countries, with the Mall of America in Minnesota among the specific targets, but he failed to mention that the U.S. continues to import hundreds of high-risk Islamic refugees from Somalia every month.

Like so many outside the State Department, I’m going to bet that Homeland Security chief Johnson has no real understanding of the more than three-decade-old refugee resettlement program that is responsible for a large percentage of the Muslim population in the US.

The U.S. State Department’s refugee-resettlement program has placed more than 100,000 Somalis into U.S cities and towns since the early 1990s – all of them Muslims hand-selected by the United Nations refugee agency. And Minnesota has become the most popular destination, with secondary hotspots in Maine, Ohio, Colorado and southern California. More than 800 new refugees from Somalia arrive in the United States every month, according to Refugee Resettlement Watch.

The constant influx has earned parts of Minneapolis the nickname “Little Mogadishu.”

Johnson told CNN Sunday that terrorist groups such as Somalia-based al-Shabab are “relying more and more on independent actors to become inspired” and “attack on their own.”

But he made no mention in any of his interviews on Sunday morning news shows of the program that brings these potential “independent actors” to the U.S. in the first place.

Johnson said there was a need for a “comprehensive” approach to fighting the ever-present threat posed by terror groups, including al-Shabab and the Islamic State or ISIS.

One would think that cutting off the spigot of Islamic immigration would play a role in any truly comprehensive approach, said Islam expert Robert Spencer, who runs the JihadWatch blog at the David Horowitz Freedom Center.

To talk about tackling the problem without addressing the refugee pipeline is disingenuous, Spencer said.

“The government’s ‘concern’ about these threats is completely undercut by the Obama administration’s immigration policies,” said Spencer. “More than 800 Somalis a month are entering the country.”

[….]

In fiscal year 2014 the U.S. admitted 9,000 Somali refugees. In the first four months of fiscal 2015 the U.S. admitted 3,536 new Somali refugees, or 884 per month.

Gitmo detainees sent to Uruguay as refugees don’t want to work!

We told you about how the former prisoners were presto-chango turned into refugees by the US State Department, here, in December.

This news could not come at a more opportune time (for a little chuckle), just as State Department Spokeswoman Marie Harf tells us that jihadists or wannabe jihadists just need a job and some upward mobility.

Too busy to work? One of the detainees (aka refugees) was recently in Argentina lobbying for the country to take some of his Gitmo pals who are still being held by the US government.

That is what Uruguay has offered and now we hear that the “refugees” have rejected their offer of work, a roof over their heads and cultural and language lessons as not being enough!

President Mujica says of them—these are not gritty, hardworking immigrants like the earlier ones who came to Uruguay.  If they were humble people of the desert they would be stronger!

From the Associated Press at Epoch Times (hat tip: Robin):

MONTEVIDEO, Uruguay—Controversy is flaring over the six Guantanamo detainees taken in by Uruguay for resettlement, with even the man who pushed through the plan, President Jose Mujica, seeming to criticize them for lacking a work ethic.

The men were locked up for more than a dozen years at the U.S. Navy base in Cuba before they were brought to Montevideo in December. Mujica agreed to accept them as a humanitarian gesture and said they would be given help getting established in a country of 3.3 million people with a total Muslim population of perhaps 300.

The government has offered them a residential facility to study Spanish, learn about Uruguayan culture and integrate to their new home.

But Syrian refugee Abu Wa’el Dhiab recently complained that the men have “walked out of a prison to enter another one.”

In a TV interview, Dhiab expressed thanks to Uruguay, but said it needs a plan for helping the ex-detainees, who need “their families, a home, a job and some sort of income that allows them to build a future.”

A labor union that has been helping the men says, however, that they have turned down job offers.

Mujica recently visited the home where five of the six men are staying and asked them to start working. After his visit, the president said on his radio program that the former detainees are far from the ancestors of Uruguayans, who he said were gritty, hard-working immigrants.

“If these people were humble people of the desert, poor people, they’d surely be stronger and more primitive, but they’re not,” Mujica said of the former prisoners. “Through their hands, features and family histories, it seems to me that they’re middle class.”

We have a little archive growing on Uruguay here and just this morning created a new category—South America—for increasing refugee news from there.
