What will Senator Rand Paul do about new influx of Muslims to his hometown?

Yesterday I told you about a public meeting to be held today in Bowling Green, KY where the major resettlement contractor working there, Bowling Green International Center, a subcontractor of the US Committee for Refugees and Immigrants, will attempt to explain why they will now be adding to the Muslim population of that town.

rand paul contemplative
Senator Rand Paul. Will he or won’t he take a leading role in investigating the UN/US State Department Refugee Admissions Program that is FOREVER changing his home town?

Writing at World Net Daily, Leo Hohmann, reports on Senator Paul’s response.  For any of you attending that meeting at 5 p.m. today, be sure to see if you can spot any representatives of Paul’s office in attendance.  Be sure to let them know what you are thinking.
Here is just a small snip from Hohmann’s detailed report:

Bowling Green is not new to Muslim refugees. The city has been transformed over the past decade from a typical Middle America town that had no Muslims to one that now has more than 7,000 who account for at least 10 percent of the city’s population. It had no mosques 15 years ago and now has several including a large Islamic Center. The Islamic refugees have come from 23 countries, mostly from Bosnia, Russia, Burma, Iraq and now Syria.

[…..]

Paul’s office told WND he is not in favor of the Syrian refugee dumps in Kentucky or anywhere else under the current vetting process being used by President Obama.

“Senator Paul believes we must pass the SECURE Act,” said Sergio Gor, the senator’s press secretary. “This legislation would suspend visa issuance for countries with a high risk of terrorism and impose a waiting period for background checks on visa issuance from other countries until the American people can be assured terrorists cannot enter the country through our immigration and visa system.”

Paul was much more outspoken against refugee resettlement three years ago, before he contemplated a run for president.

I, at one point a few years ago, had a lot of hope that Senator Paul, because of the way he questioned the program, would indeed become a leading Senate advocate for its reform. Of course it isn’t too late for him to accept the mantle.
P.S. Kentuckians might want to pound Mitch McConnell too, but I bet he is too deeply indebted to big industries in the state (Perdue maybe???) always on the lookout for cheap captive labor that refugees provide.

Bowling Green, KY nervous about planned Syrian resettlement

It sure looks like another ‘pocket of resistance’ is forming, this time in Bowling Green, KY (a growing Muslim community) the hometown of Senator Rand Paul and the resettlement site of two convicted Iraqi refugee terrorists who had been placed there a few years ago.
Before you read the story, you should visit our very large archive on Bowling Green by clicking here. There has been much turmoil over the years with resettlement there generally relating to refugees being dumped by their resettlement contractors.
And, consider the fact that Senate Majority leader Mitch McConnell has never (to my knowledge) ever lifted a finger to question the program in his own state, it tells me that the program is driven there by Big Meat, the Chamber of Commerce and other industries who want a continuous supply of cheap immigrant labor.

Melinda Hill
Commissioner and Mayor Pro-Tem Melinda Hill is an outspoken critic of the Syrian resettlement plan for Bowling Green. Photo here: http://www.bgdailynews.com/news/q-a-with-melinda-hill/article_a755552e-335a-544c-9b4d-6a7b39c30b41.html

Senator Rand Paul has spoken up a few times over the years, but with a ‘conservative’ governor there now and if Paul sticks with past comments, it’s time to reevaluate Kentucky’s WILSON-FISH program.
Here is the news from WKU radio:

Bowling Green is preparing to welcome Syrian refugees later this year who are fleeing their country’s civil war. The Warren County-based Kentucky International Center has agreed to resettle 40 Syrians, but the decision is raising concerns in the local community.

[….]

The plan to open the city’s doors to Syrian refugees is creating backlash in what has otherwise been a welcoming environment. City Commissioner and Mayor Pro-Tem Melinda Hill has been one of the most outspoken critics of the plan to resettle Syrians in Bowling Green. She says she doesn’t have confidence in the federal government’s screening process.

“Our country has systems in place where our criminals, we know what they did, when they did it,” Hill tells WKU Public Radio. “Many of these people are from countries that do not have systems like that in place, or if they did have them, these people have not been entered into the system, they’ve not been kept up to date, or those systems have been destroyed. We don’t have access to any background checks. It’s all questions and answers.”

[….]

Some locals residents are more apprehensive since the 2011 arrest of two Iraqi men living in Bowling Green. Both are now in prison for conspiring to send weapons and cash to the terrorist group Al-Qaeda.

[….]

The Syrians represent a small fraction of the 400 other refugees coming to Bowling Green this year, including from Africa, Asia, and Cuba. If approved by the federal government, 40 Syrians will start a new life that they hope won’t be derailed by fears of terrorism.

Concerned Kentuckians should be letting your governor know that he could be the one brave governor needed!  Go here and see what he could do!  If he is worried about being alone, he could call upon Chris Christie and Sam Brownback to join him! Three brave governors is surely better than one!
P.S. If anyone knows Commissioner Hill, please send her this post.  She may not know some information we have linked in here.

Looking for one brave and patriotic governor! Lawsuit ready to file against refugee program, needs only a plaintiff

But one important caveat.  The governor must be from one of the 12 Wilson Fish states.

If you live in one of these states, you have your marching orders starting tomorrow!

Your governor must be deluged with requests to join a suit being prepared by a nationally renowned public interest law firm specializing in cases involving the US Constitution.   Here are the key states in which the so-called Wilson Fish alternative resettlement plan is ripe for a challenge:

Alabama
Alaska
Colorado
Idaho
Kentucky
Louisiana
Massachusetts
Nevada
North Dakota
South Dakota
Tennessee
Vermont

Now this is the breaking news from Breitbart reporter Michael Patrick Leahy:

matt Bevin
Will newly elected KY Governor Matt Bevin be the bravest of them all?

The Thomas More Law Center, a well respected public interest law firm, is ready to file a lawsuit challenging the constitutionality of the $1 billion a year U.S. Refugee Resettlement Program and is looking for a governor to be the plaintiff in a case that can be filed on short notice.

The Refugee Resettlement Program, which has been in operation for more than three decades, brings 100,000 refugees a year, 40 percent of whom are Muslim, into the United States. As Breitbart News reported previously, the Obama administration intends to bring 10,000 Syrian refugees to the United States in 2016, despite testimony by the director of the FBI these refugees cannot be vetted and polls that show more than 10 percent of the refugees have a positive view of ISIS.

Dick Thompson, the executive director of the Thomas More Law Center and a former prosecutor in Michigan, tells Breitbart News that the public interest law firm has devoted more than six months and much of its legal staff researching the legal authority by which President Obama authorizes un-elected and unaccountable “voluntary agencies” (VOLAGs) to place refugees in states without receiving the permission of the state’s governor.

“We’ve drafted a 16 page complaint that we can utilize for any one of the Wilson-Fish state governors. All we need is for one of these governors from a Wilson-Fish state to say I want to file a lawsuit, and we could file one on their behalf within a few days. Moreover, our representation is without charge,” Thompson says.

The basis of the lawsuit is that the program, as currently operated, violates the Tenth Amendment to the Constitution.

Please read the remainder of Mr. Leahy’s report!  Will Kentucky go first? Or, how about Alabama?  Idaho! here is your chance! Step right up! The volags are reeling!
But, don’t forget, even if you are deluging your governor’s office you can still do this too….

Action Alert:  Call your members of the House and Senate at 202-224-3121 and ask them to vigorously oppose the Refugee Resettlement funding contained in the Omnibus Spending Bill that will be voted on by 12-11-15! Please call by this Friday, Dec. 4th.

Did your state get Syrian Muslim refugees in October? Kentucky still number one!

Update November 1:  The UNHCR has picked nearly 20,000 Syrians for us, says our commitment is “open-ended” here.
The Obama Administration says they will resettle 10,000 Syrian refugees in the US in FY 2016 which began October 1.  Here is a map showing where the first 187 Syrians have been placed (as of today).   Two weeks ago, it had been only 51 (see here), but Kentucky is still the number one destination (here with 26).
Map syrians
Of the 187 admitted to the US this month, 183 are Sunni Muslims.  There were 3 Catholics and 1 Christian.  That is 98% Muslim. Last year the percentage of Muslims in the Syrian flow to America was 97%.
Go here to the Refugee Processing Center to see where I am getting the information.
If Obama wants to get 10,000 in here in one year, they will surely have to step this up.  I expect the slow start involves the problem they are having doing the security screening.  He will have to get almost 900 a month in here to make his quota.
If you missed my report on the UNHCR talk in Washington on Thursday, here, then you missed his explanation about why the Christians weren’t coming in any great numbers—he says they are not persecuted by the Assad regime so they aren’t refugees in need of resettlement.  I guess ISIS doesn’t count as a persecutor!
Will Mitch McConnell and Rand Paul say anything about the colonization of Kentucky?  I won’t hold my breath!

Asst. Sec. of State for PRM Anne Richard is a busy beaver, gotta keep the UN happy and get those Syrians in!

As Asst. Secretary of State for Population, Refugees and Migration, Anne Richard is the head honcho in the Obama/Kerry State Department responsible for the refugees admitted to the United States.

Tomorrow she is scheduled to testify before the House Foreign Relations Committee (Subcommittee on the Middle East and North Africa).  See if your representative is a member of the subcommittee by clicking here.
If your ‘pocket of resistance’ is located in one of the districts represented on this subcommittee make sure your Representative knows how important this testimony is to you.
By the way, this reminds me that there is a lot of foot-dragging going on over in the House Judiciary Committee (Goodlatte and Gowdy) which has jurisdiction and a LEGAL requirement to review the President’s Determination for FY2016 that is now already going on 4 weeks old.   An oversight hearing had been planned weeks ago on the Refugee Admissions Program—what happened to it?
Late last week Ms. Richard was pushing the Syrian resettlement at a college in Kentucky (it is about the children!)
What you see happening here is that the US State Department is sending out big-wigs like Richard to help spread the propaganda (to head off the development of ‘pockets of resistance’) and say that everything is going to be just peachy as we admit 10,000 (or more!) Syrians who cannot be properly screened according to the FBI.
The Obama Administration is going to be having a tough time finding enough “welcoming” communities for Syrians so they must get out to states like Kentucky—we reported that Kentucky had gotten the most Syrians so far two weeks into the new fiscal year. Apparently Mitch and Rand are too busy to pay attention to the colonization of Kentucky with Muslim Syrians!  (See also first Syrians arrive in KY with help of Islamic charity.)

Senator Rand Paul’s home town!

See Richard at Western Kentucky University and right under Senator Rand Paul’s nose, here and here (at the Bowling Green Daily News—Rand Paul’s home town!***).  Hat tip: Robin.
And, here she is giving an interview to NPR this past week.  Be sure to see it because the interviewer says thousands of you are sending e-mails to “advocates” opposing the resettlement of more refugees.  That must be in reference to the ACT campaign, here.
You really need to know who these people are—-who are working to change America by changing the people.  Anne Richard is one of those who moves in and out of government from federal contracting agency and back in to government (and will move back out as an activist advancing mass migration to America).  See her bio here.
*** Bowling Green is also the location where the two Iraqi refugee terrorists were doing their ‘work.’  So how does Rand Paul propose to keep America safe if he isn’t watching what is going on in his own backyard!
