Apparently there is no effort being made to resettle more persecuted Christians from Syria than Obama did last year.
1,069 Syrians have been spread around America in the first three weeks of FY2017. That is 352 a week. 99% or 1,054 practice some form of Islam. The vast majority are Sunni Muslims. There will most likely be 20,000 Syrian (99%) Muslim refugees admitted to the US by September 30, 2017, UNLESS Congress cuts the funding for the program next month!
There were 4 Catholics, 3 Christians and 8 Orthodox identified in the flow.
The top state receiving them was Michigan (by far!).

There is only one thing you can do to slow this flow (besides electing Donald Trump) which at this rate would bring around 20,000 Syrians to America by next fall and that is to persuade your member of Congress and US Senators to DEFUND the program in the lame duck Budget debate coming in November.

It seems almost every day that Breitbart publishes a new investigative report on Tuberculosis in refugees arriving in the US. I will bet every one of you, before Michael Leahy began his series, believed that we screened TB and other infectious diseases out of the legal immigrant flow to America—not so! Here is Leahy’s lateston the state becoming the epicenter of growing revelations about carelessness with refugee health screening.
The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services, most county health departments in the state, and the local Michigan offices of refugee resettlement agencies are hiding refugee latent tuberculosis (TB) infection rates from the public.
Michigan’s culture of concealment stands in contrast to how several other states deal with latent TB infection rates among refugees.
Signs and symptoms to help you determine if someone close to you has TB
As Breitbart News reported, the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS) does not collect latent TB infection rate data from the county health departments and local resettlement agency providers it hires to conduct initial domestic medical screenings for arriving refugees, nor does it acknowledge its clear legal obligation to do so under the Refugee Act of 1980.
“We do not have that data,” MDHHS spokesperson Bob Wheaton told Breitbart News when asked for data on LTBI infection rates based on the entire population of refugees screened.
MDHHS has hired several county health departments and, in some counties, private refugee health screen services working in cooperation with local resettlement agencies to conduct initial domestic medical screenings of arriving refugees. Under Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and MDHHS guidelines, every refugee who completes such a screening is tested for latent TB infection.
But MDHHS says neither the counties nor the private refugee health screening services share this data with them, and the counties and private refugee health screening services who have the refugee latent TB infection data refuse to make that information public.
In the case of at least one private refugee health screening service, the Arab American and Chaldean Council, which MDHHS has hired to conduct refugee health screenings in Wayne County, Macomb County, and Oakland County, that data is also not being shared with health departments in those counties. Providing that data to local county health departments is a requirement of the Refugee Act of 1980. [Too bad we don’t have a legal foundation devoted solely to bringing lawsuits as the Refugee Act is being violated on a regular basis—ed]

Dumb or evil to (secretly!) introduce more poverty and cultural tension to an economically struggling city? But that is where we are these days with the completely out of control UN/US Refugee Admissions Program.

Readers! Sorry to keep nagging, but you have got to get the planning documents called Reception and Placement Abstracts (R & P Abstracts) from your local resettlement contractor or use your state’s public information law to get them out of your state refugee coordinator (all state coordinators are listed here). I know you probably find it beyond belief that a supposed non-profit ‘religious’ charity is making plans (with the federal government) for your town while you, and sometimes even your elected officials, are completely left in the dark. So the do-gooder Lutherans (and Obama’s State Dept) think that planting a hundred Middle Easterners in Flint starting two weeks from tomorrow is a humanitarian thing to do? Here is what we are learning about troubled Flint, Michigan from Michael Patrick Leahy at Breitbart:
Breitbart News has learned that a resettlement agency funded by the Obama administration plans to send 100 Iraqi and Syrian refugees to Flint, Michigan, in the fiscal year that begins next month on October 1.
But that plan appears to violate a clause in the federal Refugee Act of 1980 which requires the federal government and director of the Office of Refugee Resettlement to consult with local as well as state governments prior to the placement of any refugees within their boundaries.
“At this point it appears city leaders have not been informed of the details regarding this matter,” a spokesperson for Mayor Karen Weaver and the city of Flint tells Breitbart News.
It’s the same story with the government of Genesee County, in which Flint is located.
“As of this time the Genesee County Board of Commissioners has not been notified of any settlement of 100 refugees from Middle East – South Asia,” Jamie Curtis, Chairman of the Genesee County Board of Commissioners, tells Breitbart News through a spokesperson.
Flint, a city of 100,000, is in the midst of a financial and public health crisis …
According to this FY 2017 abstract submitted to the Department of State by Lutheran Immigration and Refugee Service, which operates in Michigan as Samaritas, the resettlement agency plans to bring 100 Iraqi and Syrian refugees to Flint Michigan in the twelve month fiscal year that begins in less than three weeks. The document was obtained in a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request from the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services.
With all the financial and public health problems the city of Flint, Michigan faces, critics are wondering if it makes any sense to force 100 Syrian and Iraqi refugees upon the citizens of Flint, Michigan.

Have a look at some of those and note how the numbers coming to each town are going up each year. So if they tell you it will be only 50 the first year, know that it could be 150 the next year. Lancaster, PA, where its schools are struggling now, is up to 900 a year because no one ever complained!
Your homework!
Everyone in America (we have thousands who read RRW around the world) call your state coordinator today and first ask (nicely) to receive the R & P Abstracts for your state. (Exempt from homework are you folks in Michigan!) If you get a no, or you get a runaround then next week call your Congressman and two US Senators offices and tell them you are being stonewalled and you want them to get the document for you.
BTW, the state coordinator may act dumb and say he/she doesn’t know what you are talking about. Well, use one of those from Michigan or the one I wrote about from Wisconsin, here, and tell them that is the document you want for your state.
In the meantime, learn how to do state freedom of information requests where you live and get those rolling out next week when it is clear you are going to get no help from the state coordinator or from your Washington representatives. When you have obtained the document, try to interest a local reporter in writing about it, or you write a letter to the editor and tell your fellow citizens how many refugees are coming your way starting in 2 weeks from tomorrow.
Remember they have been getting away with changing America by changing its people by using secrecy to seed American neighborhoods!
We learned this week that the Obama Administration is setting the table for a huge increase in the number of refugees to be admitted to the US for the new fiscal year which begins October 1, presumably setting things up for a Hillary presidency (and making it harder for a Trump administration to pull those numbers back in January without hate-filled attacks against him when/if he does. There will be wailing and gnashing of teeth—waahhh!—with refugee contractors saying they are already in the pipeline). We also know that the REPUBLICAN Congress has the final word because they can appropriate money for the program or withhold the funding in the next few weeks and months.
However, now that the Presidential determination has been sent to Congress there is no reason a local refugee office or a state refugee coordinator*** should withhold from you the Reception and Placement Abstract which lays out how many the local resettlement contractor is planning for your town.
I know many of you have been asking nicely for those important planning documents and are being rebuffed.
They like to use the excuse that they were in the deliberative stage with their plans for your communities, but that excuse is now gone! All of those documents were used to prepare the determination that has been delivered to the House and Senate Judiciary Committees.
(BTW, you might look at the rosters for both committees and see if your Member of Congress or Senator is on the committee, then get on the phone and call their office and tell them you want the R & P Abstract for ____federal resettlement agency working in your town/city. Put the office to work for you! LOL! I’ll bet your Washington rep has never seen the documents that will ultimately change his or her district forever!)
However, you may just have to go the FOIA route.
The US State Department and supposed ‘religious’ charities are working tirelessly to increase the Muslim population of places like Dearborn, Michigan.
Every state has a Public Information law (it might not be called FOIA where you live, FOIA usually refers to the federal law) managed by your state’s attorney general. For example, here is Maryland’s.
Find the site where you live and then use the request letter template they provide. When using the state FOIAs, response time is pretty quick (usually).
If you have months to wait, then try the federal FOIA on the US State Department or the Office of Refugee Resettlement in HHS (but be sure to find the correct request template or they will just kick your letter back). Michigan as a model…. Concerned citizens in Michigan used their state’s public information law and finally received their planning documents for the resettlement cities in that state. Here is Michael Patrick Leahy at Breitbartreporting on what they found:
Breitbart News has obtained the FY 2017 refugee resettlement proposals from the five leading resettlement agencies that operate in Michigan showing they plan to jam down a 40 percent increase in refugees from the “Middle East-South Asia” region, which includes Syria, on residents of Michigan in the fiscal year that begins on October 1.
These plans in Michigan are completely consistent with the nationwide “refugee number determination” the Obama Administration presented to Congress on Tuesday: an increase of the FY 2017 ceiling by 29 percent to 110,000, up from the ceiling of 85,000 that was approved for FY 2016. The actual final number for FY 2016 is likely to reach or exceed the original ceiling number, if the run rate of the last few months continues for the final two weeks of the fiscal year.
In their FY 2016 plans, these five agencies–Lutheran Social Services (which recently changed the name of its Michigan operation to Samaritas), Church World Service, Catholic Charities, HIAS (formerly the Hebrew Immigrant Aid Society), and Episcopal Migration Ministries— proposed 4,060 refugees overall to be resettled in Michigan, 2,567 from the “Middle East-South Asia” region, which includes Syria. As of September 13, 3,783 total refugees, 1,217 of whom are from Syria, have been resettled in Michigan to date this fiscal year. At the accelerated run rate of the past few months, year end numbers are likely to hit or exceed the FY 2016 plan for 4,000 total refugees in Michigan, of which over 1,300 are Syrian refugees.
The FY 2017 plans, obtained through Freedom of Information Act request made to the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services by a local Michigan grassroots group (as were the FY 2016 plans), show that that these five resettlement agencies have proposed a 38 percent increase in overall refugee resettlement, up to 5,606 refugees. This includes a 40 percent increase in refugees from the “Middle East-South Asia” region that includes Syria, to 3,586.

I will wager that the vast majority of Americans have no idea that refugees are walking around sometimes for weeks and months with TB (even active TB) interacting with you in schools, stores, and in the workplace. In addition to following the law which requires Congressional hearings before the new fiscal year begins, hearings would begin to lay the ground work for extensive reform of the Refugee Admissions Program in a new administration.
