Don’t eat the chocolate!

This has nothing to do with refugees (it will someday as the Muslim population in the US increases), but I saw this story about Cadbury Chocolates (owned by Mondelez International) under the gun in certain parts of the world to prove that they were not adding Pig DNA to their chocolate bars and it so ticked me off that I wanted you to see it.

Read it yourself and get ready for the chocolate riots in Malaysia and Indonesia!

Here is a suggestion: shut up and don’t eat the chocolate.

Unfortunately, however, we increasingly see the food industry and western governments prostrating themselves in the face of Islamic tyranny and Shariah law.

As second MERS case reported by CDC, Obama briefed

Another Saudi national has brought a case of the deadly MERS virus to America.  This story has been all over the national and local news since it broke two days ago.

The US will now have to be added to the map. Where else?

See our coverage of the previous case in Indiana here ten days ago.

As we have said on previous occasions, if Americans don’t wise up to the security threats, the cultural challenges, the expense to taxpayers of opening our borders to the world, the one thing that will get their attention is the threat of deadly diseases their kids might contract at school, or they might pick up in a hospital or on the subway.

MERS is making the national news, but others, especially tuberculosis, are on the rise in the US immigrant population and the cases are reported only in the local media.  See our Health issues category for more.

From AP:

ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) — Employees at two Orlando hospitals who came in contact with a Saudi resident infected by the second confirmed U.S. case of a rare virus are being monitored for symptoms and have been told to stay home for two weeks, health officials said Tuesday.

Fifteen hospital workers at Dr. Phillips Hospital and another five employees at Orlando Regional Medical Center were being monitored at home for fever, chills and muscle aches, said Dr. Antonio Crespo, an official with the hospital system.

So far, none of them has tested positive for MERS, or Middle East Respiratory Syndrome. MERS is a respiratory illness that begins with flu-like fever and cough but can lead to shortness of breath, pneumonia and death.

The Saudi resident was being treated at Dr. Phillips Hospital, where he showed up at the emergency room May 8. Three days earlier, he had visited Orlando Regional Medical Center with a friend who went to the hospital for a test.

Two workers at Dr. Phillips Hospital, who were not identified, have shown flu-like symptoms recent days. One of them was sent home, and the other has been hospitalized in isolation. Both are awaiting test results that could come later this week. Crespo said MERS has been shown to have a 14-day incubation period.

[….]

The White House said Tuesday that President Barack Obama had been briefed on the MERS cases in the U.S.

We would be so much better off as a nation without the Saudis money, oil, students and diseases!

Will Saudi Arabia import MERS to America? First case is here

The first case of the deadly Middle Eastern Respiratory Syndrome (MERS) has been identified in a “man” in Indiana.  The CDC is quick to say it isn’t highly contagious, but many paragraphs into the report we learn it is deadly and health officials have NO IDEA how it spreads.

They are tracking down those who traveled with the “man.”

MERS breeding ground—the Arabian Peninsula

From the Associated Press:

NEW YORK (AP) — Health officials confirmed the first case of an American infected with a mysterious virus that has sickened hundreds in the Middle East.

The man fell ill after flying to the U.S. late last week from Saudi Arabia where he was a health care worker.

He is hospitalized in good condition in northwest Indiana with Middle East respiratory syndrome, or MERS, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and Indiana health officials said Friday.

The virus is not highly contagious and this case “represents a very low risk to the broader, general public,” Dr. Anne Schuchat told reporters during a CDC briefing.

The federal agency plans to track down passengers he may have been in close contact with during his travels; it was not clear how many may have been exposed to the virus.

So far, 1/4th (at least) of those diagnosed with the disease have died.

Overall, at least 400 people have had the respiratory illness, and more than 100 people have died. All had ties to the Middle East region or to people who traveled there.

Experts said it was just a matter of time before MERS showed up in the U.S., as it has in Europe and Asia.

Contradicting themselves, here we learn it is lethal to 1/3 of those who get it.  CDC doesn’t know how it spreads.

The MERS virus has been found in camels, but officials don’t know how it is spreading to humans. It can spread from person to person, but officials believe that happens only after close contact. Not all those exposed to the virus become ill.

But it appears to be unusually lethal – by some estimates, it has killed nearly a third of the people it sickened.

Beware the Arabian Peninsula and those who come out of it.

The CDC has issued no warnings about travel to countries involved in the outbreak. However, anyone who develops fever, cough or shortness of breath within two weeks of traveling in or near the Arabian Peninsula should see their doctor and mention their travel history.

By the way, Saudi Arabia is already the primary importer of student visas and mosques to America (but that is a story for another day).

Our earlier posts on MERS are here.  And, check out our ‘health issues’ category with more on diseases, other medical problems, and the cost to taxpayers as a result of our wide open borders.

Saudi press calls Burmese Buddhists “bigots,” while they themselves deport Africans by the thousands

“Buddhist bigots” shouts the Saudi press. The Burmese monks don’t want the Organization of Islamic Cooperation in their country! No one in Europe or the US is as brave as these monks! http://www.voanews.com/content/oic-delegation-greeted-by-burmese-protests/1789535.html

This is your laugh of the day (other news coming soon is pretty grim!).

You have to hand it to them, the Saudis have a lot of hutzpah!

In an editorial in the Saudi Gazette, they blast Burma for its treatment of the Rohingya Muslims while they themselves are deporting Africans by the thousands so as to keep Saudi Arabia pure for their people—Arabs.

And, it is even worse, here is one post we published in 2012 where we reported that Saudi Arabia was imprisoning 700 Rohingya people who made it into Saudi Arabia!

Saudi Gazette this week:

… the census is going to demonstrate the strength of the Muslim minority within the country.

Buddhist bigots have already caused near genocidal horrors among the Rohingya. The guilt of the Burmese government has been compounded by its refusal to accept that the Rohingyas, a community which has lived in the country for many generations, are entitled to Burmese citizenship. Not only should all Burmese politicians, including Aung San Suu Kyi, give assurances that they will accept the findings of the census, but that also that they will not use them to promote further persecution of minorities, not least the Rohingya.

For the many new readers we have lately, we haven’t reported on the Rohingya much, but we have a whole category on them here.  Our interest is that the contractors (the Catholic Bishops!) and the US State Department have begun to bring some Rohingya to America.  We don’t know how many because they have them interspersed with the Christian Burmese we have been resettling by the tens of thousands.

Somali government welcomes home Somalis deported from other countries!

This is very good news!  Two weeks ago we told you of the thousands of Somalis deported from Saudi Arabia as it attempts to un-diversify itself, and now it appears they will get a warm welcome in Mogadishu.

Time to rebuild the once beautiful Mogadishu.
http://borgenproject.org/mogadishu-sees-rapid-growth-and-development-as-somali-diaspora-returns-home/

Surely our critics think I’m being snarky, but I am not—many of these returning Somalis have gained skills that can now be put to use repairing their country.  And, surely al-Shabaab will not have the numbers to defeat the returnees if those returning have a backbone!

From AllAfrica:

Saciid Qorsheel, Minister of Land & Air Transport of the Somali government talked to the press at Mogadishu’s international airport and declared that the government is pleased to support the deportees returning to the country.

The Minister said at the airport that they are ready to prepare tents for the immigrants being sent back from foreign countries so they can have somewhere to seek refuge within their country.

“We will provide full accommodation for the deportees.” Said Saciid Qorsheel, Minister of Land & Air Transport

Recently, Somali immigrants have been deported from many countries and returned to the capital city Mogadishu, especially the ones coming back from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

I’ll be watching for the squawking from the UNHCR which will surely oppose a large return to Somalia because it undercuts their work of continuing to spread Somali “refugees” throughout the west!

Remember back in January the post about Somalis plotting in Indonesia about how to break into Australia, here— just give them a plane ticket to Mogadishu!  Put them to work!
