Czech Republic: Low turnout for pro-refugee rally

Apparently Amnesty International ginned-up the rally to pressure the government to accept 1,000 Syrian refugees.

When you consider that the US plan to resettle 9,000-10,000 has now stalled on news that the FBI says it is virtually impossible to screen Syrian refugees for terrorist connections, 1,000 is a huge number for a small country to screen and absorb.   In fact, the US has taken in only 249 Syrians this fiscal year which is 4 months old, and it is unlikely that, at that rate, even one thousand will be resettled in the US this fiscal year.

Prague, Feb 20 (ČTK) — About 150 people attended a meeting that was held in the center of Prague in protest against racism and xenophobia and in support of the Czech acceptance of refugees, mainly from the war-afflicted Syria.

The rally, whose motto was Refugees, welcome, was addressed by several speakers who condemned xenophobia and racism. The participants also observed a minute of silence in honour of the killed Syrians who failed to flee their homeland.

The demonstrators then walked through the centre of Prague, carrying banners and chanting slogans.

The demonstrators were invited to sign a petition launched by Amnesty International and demanding the acceptance of 1,000 Syrian refugees by Prague.

I have to say, it is the most curious thing to me that groups like Amnesty are not criticizing Obama.  Most of the refugee contractors and other Open Borders groups expected the Obama Administration to take more than 10,000 last year.

Let Muslim nations take the Muslim refugees!

As I have been saying, here and here, everyone is talking about the Obama plan to admit Syrian refugees to the US.

 

Maybe Obama could persuade the new Saudi King, Salman bin Abdul-Aziz Al Saud, to “welcome the stranger”—co-religionists from Syria, Iraq, Somalia and Burma.

 

No truer words (more logical words) could be spoken than these by Bryan Fischer writing at ReNew America:

If President Obama and former President Bush are right, that Islam is a wonderful religion of peace, then each of the other 56 Muslim nations around the world ought to be havens of tranquility and stability. Let’s use our resources to help Syrian Muslims find a home in one or more of these other nations which are guided by the “religion of peace.”

Of course, the resettlement industry types would be quick to say that Lebanon, Turkey and Jordan already have tens of thousands of temporary Syrian refugees, but you should know that the rich oil states, like Saudi Arabia, take zero!

We are even bringing Muslim ‘refugees’ from Malaysia to the US!

Mark Levin: A government that can’t run a website is going to keep us safe by vetting Syrian refugees?

Breitbart reports that radio talk show host Mark Levin weighed in on the Syrian refugee resettlement plan on Friday.

To better understand how the resettlement is evolving, check our post yesterday about how everyone is now talking about the planned Syrian refugee resettlement (driven by pressure from resettlement contractors and the UN).

And, please, please tell Mark Levin and others who have now woken up to the Muslim migration to America that it is worse than he knows—we brought in 20,000 Iraqi refugees (three fourths are Muslims) and 9,000 Somali refugees just last year alone!

Here is Mark Levin:

Talk radio host and author of “The Liberty Amendments,” Mark Levin declared that a government who has mishandled Obamacare shouldn’t be trusted with vetting Syrian refugees coming to the US on Friday.

“Don’t worry, when it [the government] brings in these refugees from Syria, right in the heart of the Islamonazi battle, everything’s going to be vetted very, very well…because lookee here ‘Feds sent incorrect tax information to 800,000 people on ObamaCare.’ These clowns can’t even run a website, but don’t worry, we’re gonna know if people [who] come into this country mean us harm” he stated.

Levin continued, “and don’t worry, should Jeb Bush*** become president, we’ll change the rules. Rather than assume that people coming here are going to violate our laws, which is our current assumption under the immigration laws, we’ll assume that they’re here to love us.”

Media shock over Obama plan to bring in a couple of thousand Syrian refugees growing

Melanie Nezer: We want the US to admit 75,000 Syrians over 5 years!

This is just a quick commentary.

My alerts are filled with news stories about revelations last week and the week before that the Obama Administration is planning on bringing Syrian Muslim refugees to the US this year and in future years and everyone is shocked at the number being discussed—2,000.

Don’t get me wrong, I am glad the media is now paying attention.

But, remember, up until December of last year the State Department was predicting that they would bring in 9,000-10,000 this year. (See our Syrian refugees archive by clicking here)

Remember also that it is the refugee resettlement contractors*** and the UN lobbying us to bring in 15,000 a year!  See one of many stories on the subject here as the Hebrew Immigrant Aid Society leads the charge.  Not to appear to be picking on HIAS—the US Conference of Catholic Bishops and the Lutherans testified in Congress last year that they wanted the US to take 12,000-15,000 Syrians a year starting last year!

And, finally, why isn’t the same media paying attention to the fact that we brought in 20,000 Iraqis (three quarters are Muslim Iraqis) last year alone and 9,000 Somalis last year alone?

Come on media!  Where have you been?

Syrian and Iraqi “refugees” trafficked through Brazil destined for Europe

We have been writing ad nauseum about the ‘Invasion of Europe’ via primarily the Mediterranean Sea, and now thankfully so is much of the mainstream media.  Thanks to all who sent this story — ISIS wants to flood Europe with 500,000 through North Africa to Italy.

However, here is a new angle on the invasion:

Traffickers moving Syrians and Iraqis through Brazil to Europe!

The Federal Police is investigating a people trafficking route through Brazil for Syrians and Iraqis fleeing war and persecution in their home countries.

The refugees, who use false passports, are trying to arrive in Europe. Part of them are fleeing the war in Syria. The other, persecution at the hands of the militant group Islamic State (Isis).

The suspicion is that some of the false documents are being produced in Rio, and there are concerns that federal police officers may be involved in the scheme.

Officially, the Federal Police says it is investigating “the possibility that there may be some kind of logistical support to people traffickers in Brazil.”

The police say that at least 60 people used or attempted to use false passports – most of which were Israeli – to leave the country in recent months.

Look at this complicated route at right!

Apparently the two countries facilitating travel to Brazil are the UAE and Turkey!

Notice that one route takes them through Brazil to Uruguay and then back to Brazil!

Legitimate refugees are not going to have the resources or the savvy to pull something like this off.

And, what is to stop them from heading to the wide-open US southern border?
