In Fiscal Year 2020 Texas Continues as the Number One Refugee Resettlement State in Nation

Just so you know—most of the country ‘welcomed’ some refugees in the first group of arrivals for FY2020.

Resettlement will continue as it always has until June 2020 when supposedly the Trump EO will be in effect.

As Open Borders Inc. continues on its quest to turn Texas blue, Texas is again numero uno in ‘welcoming’ Africans, Asians and Middle Eastern impoverished refugees to its towns and cities.

If (when!) the contractors convince Texas Governor Abbott to send a permission letter to the US State Department, the contractors will achieve a great victory.  So, I sure hope you Texans are working hard!

Below is where the US State Department and its nine contractors*** placed 1,488 refugees in the last month.

Nothing I can do about the tiny type. I told you all here how to use the Refugee Processing Center data.

The top ten ‘welcoming’ states have a few additions.  I haven’t seen Indiana or Minnesota in the top ten in recent times, and Kentucky is climbing up the ladder.

Texas, California, New York, Kentucky, Arizona, Washington, Indiana, Illinois, Minnesota and Florida are the top ten in that order.

Here is the map where 1,488 refugees were placed between November 1 and December 1, 2019:

 

Below are the top sending countries (in parenthesis after each is the number of Muslims in the group).   Take note of the fact that we are only bringing in a tiny number of Middle Eastern Christians from Afghanistan, Iraq and Syria.

There is no Muslim ban.

DR Congo 509 (M: 17)  It is maddening when you consider that Obama said more than six years ago that we would limit our intake of DR Congolese to 50,000  and we are now at or near 60,000!

Burma 337 (M:37)

Moldova 94 (M: 0)

Afghanistan 91 (M:82)

Ukraine 78 (M: 0)

Iraq 50 (M: 35)

Syria 37 (M:32)  So much for saving the Syrian Christians!

Somalia 31 (M: 31)  Sixteen of these went to Minnesota over the last 4 weeks.

 

*** These are the nine federally funded contractors, all political Leftwing organizations, that at present are deciding where the UN-chosen refugees are being placed in America.

Iraqi Interpreter Welcomed to America Sentenced to 30-years as Mastermind of Massive Drug Operation

Just when the Refugee Industry agitators and their sycophant press is crying the blues because the President wants to limit the number of so-called ‘translators’ who helped America in the Iraq war, along comes news that all of these “brave” Iraqis are not all they are cracked up to be!

(For new readers these mostly Muslim SIVs from Iraq and Afghanistan receive all the benefits that refugees receive—which is basically every form of welfare, job counseling, health care, etc.)

Texas Judge Sentences Iraqi Immigrant To 30 Years For Massive Drug Operation

 

An Iraqi immigrant is sentenced to 30 years in prison for running a massive drug trafficking ring on the darknet. 30-year-old Alaa Mohammed Allawi learned his fate in a Texas court Thursday after pleading guilty to several charges, including conspiracy and money laundering back in June.

Alaa Mohammed Allawi was admitted to the US by the Obama Administration. Trump beware because as you admit more of the  “brave” men who supposedly helped us, they will be yours!

The individual was granted a U.S. special visa in 2012 after serving as an Iraqi interpreter to the U.S. Department of Defense. He came to America to seek better opportunities than what was offered in his war-torn country.

“The United States welcomed Allawi into our country from war-torn Iraq in 2012,” stated U.S. attorney John Bash. “But instead of taking advantage of the many opportunities this country affords, he decided to make money by peddling a deadly narcotic to Americans in the grips of addiction.”

Police said Allawi used the so-called “deep web” to sell and distribute millions of dollars worth of counterfeit opioids online. The operation led to at least one death after a North Carolina marine, who was stationed at Camp Lejeune, died of a fentanyl overdose after taking one of his pills.Between 2015 and 2017 alone, Allawi reportedly distributed over 350,000 pills.

“We’re talking about a two to three month trial with massive amounts of evidence and documents,” explained Bash. “That’s taken not only prosecutors, but agents out of the field to combat this problem.”

In addition to his prison sentence, Allawi was ordered pay $14.32 million dollars to plaintiffs. He faces deportation after he serves his sentence.

As the President heads to Texas and the Central American migrant caravan marches on toward our southern border, I can’t help but say ‘told you so.’

Between illegal immigration and legal refugees, the hard Left Open Borders activists and agitators are turning a red state blue.

Big enough for everyone?

 

They might not succeed this year (then again they could!), but it is happening, and proud patriotic Texans better get in gear to stop it!

A little over two years ago I reported that Republican Governor Greg Abbott withdrew the state from the US Refugee Admissions Program, but little good it did as I reported last week that Texas is now solidly, and by a large margin, the top refugee resettlement state in the nation.

I’m working on a post on Kentucky which sent me back to the Refugee Processing Center for some numbers.

So, I saw this data and figured it would be a useful bit of information for you especially as there is much talk these days as a result of the US Senate race there about Texas turning blue.

Of course, refugee numbers alone aren’t going to be the deciding factor, but as refugees come in (along with all of the other migrants coming in to Texas) they help to change the political landscape by eroding the long-standing cultural cohesiveness and character of the state.

So here is a map from Wrapsnet.  I know the numbers are hard to read but below you will find the numbers for the top ten resettlement states in the US from the beginning of Obama’s term in office up to today.

 

Total refugee admissions to the US from the fall of 2008 to the present day are 634,460:

CAIR Texas angry that refugee numbers dropping under Trump

No surprise of course, but I thought my Texas readers might like to know.

If you missed it the other day, see my post about the numbers for fiscal year 2018 that just closed on September 30th.

Texas was the number one resettlement state in the nation in FY18.

Texas Sees Major Cuts in Refugees from Iraq, Syria in 2018

 

Texas welcomed 67 percent fewer refugees in fiscal year 2018 than in 2017, down to 1,697 people from 4,768.

Some of the starkest drops in refugee arrivals were from Iraq, Iran and Syria, majority Muslim countries.

Iraqi refugee resettlement dropped from 949 to 25 in Texas. The number of Syrian refugees went from 455 to just one in fiscal year 2018.

Sobia Siddiqui, communications coordinator for the Council on American-Islamic Relations Texas Chapter, said the cuts are discriminatory.

“Our president ran his campaign and one of his strongest and most vocal points is that he called for a ban on all Muslims,” said Siddiqui.

She said there are refugee families in Houston who can’t be reunited with family members facing dangerous situations abroad because of the ban.

“There’s a lot of anxiety and uncertainty about if people will be able to have their families rejoin them back here in the United States or even in Houston,” said Dan Stoecker, CEO of The Alliance, which offers refugee services in Houston.

The Alliance is a subcontractor of the Ethiopian Community Development Council, the smallest, and likely most vulnerable to a federal budget cut, of the nine refugee contractors that monopolize all resettlement to the US.

In 2016,  I excitedly reported that the State of Texas withdrew from the US Refugee Admissions Program, but you can see that without a follow-up legal challenge by the state it was a meaningless move.  The contractors now run the program in the state!
