Member of the Dutch Parliament calls for mosques to be banished from the Netherlands

…..and it wasn’t Geert Wilders saying it this time.

From Breitbart which has been doing a good job of reporting on the invasion and Islamification of Europe:

A Dutch right-wing member of parliament called for a purge of mosques in the Netherlands during a debate on the integration of Muslim and Turkish minorities.

“Dutch unity, identity and culture are being wrecked by immigration and incubation. We do not want Islam in the Netherlands,” said Machiel de Graaf, a member of Dutch anti-immigration and anti-Islam Party for Freedom (PVV), during a debate on integration in the Netherland’s House of Representatives, reports Hurriyet Daily News in Turkey.

He called for closing down all mosques in the country, emphasizing that the Netherlands would be better off without mosques, the Assyrian International News Agency reports.

According to de Graaf, Muslims in the country are not integrated into Dutch society and refuse to be assimilated.***

They also threaten Dutch identity and culture by having more kids, he added.

Members of the social democratic parties at the debate were quick to criticize the PVV deputy’s remarks, urging him to retract his words.

Although the PVV has been highly critical of Muslims and other immigrants in the country, this is the first time one of its members demands shutting down all mosques.

This last line caught my eye:

Muslims represent about five percent of the Dutch population, 2009 estimates show.

Pew Research has the number at 5.5% in 2010 (probably over 6% now).  It might not seem like much, but I’ve been looking at some demographic studies and my non-professional guess is that, at a 3% level, Muslim immigrants begin to push for Sharia law and other concessions from the host society.

In a geographically large country like Australia or the US that 3% figure applies to a city’s population where the Muslim population has begun to grow.

***By the way, mosque-building and refusing assimilation are integral to the Hijra.

Here is just a tiny bit of Wilders’ speech, read the whole thing at New English Review.

Americans take heed of what happens when the Muslim population reaches a critical point.  The Netherlands is a tiny country. The only difference between them and us is the time it will take to reach critical mass in the US.

It is our free speech in America that might yet save us.

Here is Wilders:

Friends, I have good news from the Netherlands.

Today, the popularity of my party, the Party for Freedom, is at a high. An opinion poll published this morning shows that we have by far become the largest party in the Netherlands, with almost 20 per cent of the vote. 1 out of 5 Dutchmen would vote for the PVV today.

The policies that we stand for are also getting more popular than ever.

We want to stop all immigration from Islamic countries.

We want to stimulate voluntary re-emigration to Islamic countries.

We want to expel all criminals with dual citizenship and deprive them of their Dutch nationality.

We want to de-Islamize our nation.

Rural Dutch province under siege with influx of asylum seekers; single African men a big problem

This is one more in our ‘invasion of Europe’ series….

Yesterday we told you about the English town of Middlesbrough and how residents there are struggling to cope with the flood of asylum seekers (Africans and Middle Easterners) in need of homes and services, today it is a rural region of the Netherlands feeling the strain.

From Dutch News (hat tip: Diana).  They were filling up a vacation park.

Fewer asylum seekers will be placed in a holiday park in rural Drenthe than the 1,400 originally planned, officials have decided, after locals complained of being overwhelmed by so many people.

The Pipodorp park is currently home to 400 asylum seekers and the problems are being caused by a group of around 100 single men, many from Eritrea, Nos television said.  [The men all probably got into Europe as ‘boat people’ who then just made their way north.  They are supposed to stay in the first country they reach in Europe, but they don’t care about EU rules!—ed]

Locals have complained that minibuses they use to get around are now full of refugees and shop-keepers have spoken of 40 at a time turning up in the village shop. Oranje itself has a population of around 120.

Local mayor Jan Broertjes has now agreed with the national refugee placement agency COA that only families from Syria will be placed in the park. The men will be relocated later on Wednesday.

Wifi

The Oranje park will now be given security guards and wifi, so that residents no longer have to go into the village to use the internet.

There has been a surge in refugee numbers, particularly from Syria, in recent months. In the first six months of the year, some 12,300 people requested asylum in the Netherlands, double the 2013 figure.

Earlier, school chiefs said they were struggling to cope with the number of refugee children.

We bring you these stories from Europe (about the invasion) for a couple of reasons:  We have many European readers who follow us every day and because Americans need to know how bad it could get.

….says the Dutch are “inhumane” to Muslim ‘refugees.’

As we have told readers on many previous occasions, the European Union (in order to discourage asylum shopping) has a rule that says an asylum claim must be filed in the first country a would-be ‘refugee’ reaches in Europe.  If the migrant moves on to another country (looking for a better deal), he/she must be returned to that first country.

This is the story from Dutch News:

A German court has refused to send a Somali asylum seeker back to the Netherlands, saying he runs the risk of receiving ‘inhumane treatment’, the NRC said on Saturday.

The man had lost his appeal for asylum in the Netherlands and then went to Germany, the NRC said.

The authorities there wanted to return him under the Dublin agreement, which states refugee applications must be dealt with the EU country a refugee first sets foot in.

However, a court in Darmstadt refused to do so, saying that it is not certain that asylum seekers in the Netherlands are given basic provisions such as food and a place to stay.

Germany:  Netherlands bad!

The court said that in the Netherlands refugees are not allowed to work nor are they given government support. ‘Human values cannot be qualified by asylum policy,’ the NRC quoted the court as saying.

The paper says it is extremely rare for a EU country to use this reasoning to refuse to deport an asylum seeker to another European country.

Refugees are provided with food and shelter while their claim for asylum is being processed. However, if their claim fails and they refuse to go home, they can be evicted from refugee centres and left to fend for themselves.

Iraq won’t take back failed asylum seekers from the Netherlands…

…..but maybe for $10,000 a person they will.

I’m telling you, it would be cheaper in the end for Holland to just pay each of the failed asylum seekers (and the Iraqi government) to get them out of tents and off the streets in the Netherlands and back to Iraq.  Same goes for Malta and the Somalis!

Here is the short story at Dutch News:

Iraq will not help the government in its efforts to deport Iraq nationals who have failed to become officially recognised as asylum seekers, junior justice minister Fred Teeven told Nos television.

Teeven has just returned from a visit to Iraq, but the country is refusing to accept failed asylum seekers who are being deported against their will, Teeven said. Only Iraqi nationals who volunteer to go back are accepted.

The group of failed refugees who have been living in tents and former churches in the Netherlands include many Iraqis. They cannot be deported because they don’t have the proper paperwork but are not entitled to official accommodation from the Dutch state.

Teeven’s predecessor Gerd Leers offered Iraq €5m in development aid to accept deportees but Iraq demanded $10,000 per person instead, Nos said.

It will ultimately cost the Netherlands more than $10,000 per person to house and feed the jobless migrants.

By the way, we reported the other day that Australia was having the same problem with Iranians they wish to deport—Iran doesn’t want them back.
