New York Times uses the B-word (boycott) when writing about Chobani Yogurt

They raised the issue, not me!

I’m not complaining about the New York Times, this is what they do, but I thought you should see this article (just in case you didn’t know you were a xenophobic hater for questioning what Hamdi Ulukaya is doing to Twin Falls, Idaho).
They must be really fearing another B-word too—Breibart!
And, no surprise, they even bring Donald Trump into the story.
It doesn’t matter if Ulukaya’s plans to change Twin Falls have been done in secrecy. It doesn’t matter if he puts on the white hat of humanitarianism as he encourages a steady supply of cheap immigrant labor to be brought in at your (taxpayer) expense.  It doesn’t matter if some critics believe refugee labor is slave labor. It doesn’t matter if you object to the social and cultural changes he promotes for your community, or that he got lucrative government contracts during the Obama Administration.
None of those things matter to the NYT which is out to silence free speech. Only one thing matters and that is you are a hater of foreigners and they get to call you one of their favorite grown-up words—xenophobic—for daring to question his business practices that depend on your tax dollars!
Here is the story:

By many measures, Chobani embodies the classic American immigrant success story.

screenshot-14
That is Lavinia Limon on the left. She is the CEO of a federal refugee resettlement contractor (USCRI–97% funded by you) and Mr. Chobani Yogurt at the Clinton Global Initiative. Ms. Limon is paid to supply Chobani Yogurt with legal refugee labor for his Twin Falls, Idaho plant. https://refugeeresettlementwatch.org/2016/09/05/this-federal-refugee-contracting-agency-is-97-taxpayer-funded/

Its founder, Hamdi Ulukaya, is a Turkish immigrant of Kurdish descent. He bought a defunct yogurt factory in upstate New York, added a facility in Twin Falls, Idaho, and now employs about 2,000 people making Greek yogurt.

But in this contentious election season, the extreme right has a problem with Chobani: In its view, too many of those employees are refugees.

As Mr. Ulukaya has stepped up his advocacy — employing more than 300 refugees in his factories, starting a foundation to help migrants, and traveling to the Greek island of Lesbos to witness the crisis firsthand — he and his company have been targeted with racist attacks on social media and conspiratorial articles on websites including Breitbart News.

Now there are calls to boycott Chobani. Mr. Ulukaya and the company have been taunted with racist epithets on Twitter and Facebook. Fringe websites have published false stories claiming Mr. Ulukaya wants “to drown the United States in Muslims.” And the mayor of Twin Falls has received death threats, partly as a result of his support for Chobani.

Online hate speech is on the rise, reflecting the rising nationalism displayed by some supporters of Donald J. Trump, who has opposed resettling refugees in the United States.

“What’s happening with Chobani is one more flash point in this battle between the voices of xenophobia and the voices advocating a rational immigration policy,” said Cecillia Wang, director of the Immigrants’ Rights Project at the American Civil Liberties Union.

I’m guessing that the calls on social media to boycott Chobani Yogurt must be having an impact, and I am further guessing that the NYT is not helping the yogurt company one bit with this story.

(I think most people had forgotten that there were calls to boycott Chobani Yogurt.)

Angry, unhappy, disillusioned Syrians want to go home (from all over the world!)

I want you to see three stories this morning!
Everyone take note (especially paternalistic do-gooders)!
I predict there will be more news like this as massive numbers of Syrians are moving around the world and many are finding that home is better than St. Louis, Missouri, the United Kingdom or Greece.

United States

From St. Louis via KMOX (hat tip: Joanne):

ST. LOUIS (KMOX) – After escaping war in their homeland, some Syrian refugees are afraid of getting shot in their new home – in north St. Louis.

syrian-refugees-more-police-please
Oh the irony, Syrians in St. Louis want more police protection (in the land of Black Lives Matter)!

Syrians living at an apartment complex near Page and Hodiamont met with their neighborhood Alderman, and with a representative of the agency that placed them here, the International Institute.***

The hour-long meeting dealt with complaints of gunfire in the night, roaches, mice, and rats.

One Syrian woman, speaking through a translator, says it’s so bad she phoned friends at a refugee camp in Jordan to warn them not to come to St. Louis.

Continue here.
This is not an unusual story, we have heard it very often over the years. Refugee contractors place refugees in dreadful neighborhoods—ha! diversity does not bring strength!

United Kingdom

Then how about this story from the UK: Do not come to the UK says Syrian ‘refugee.’

A 28-year-old Syrian migrant who has been in Britain just 11 days says he is “miserable” and wants to go back to his life in his war-torn country saying it “is better than it is here.”

Abdul Kader al-Zuebi, who was once a military doctor in the Syrian army, says he fled the war in his homeland because he did not want to have to kill.

He now says he has grown frustrated with being unable to rent a home or seek work as a doctor in the UK, complaining that officials do not know where his passport is and are refusing to let him leave.

Kader al-Zuebi has a British fiancee and three relatives living in the UK.

The authorities have been putting him up in hostels in Dulwich and Cardiff, which he describes as “miserable.”

[….]

He added: “It is a big lie to be in the UK, we think the UK is something from the heavens.”

[….]

“I would rather be in Aleppo than stay here. I want to deport myself,” he said, adding “I would tell those arriving from Calais to go back. It is better than it is here,” according to the Express.

Greece

And then this is from Greece. Syrians have started the long trip home!

Didymoteicho (Greece) (AFP) – “I want to go back to Syria. There is war in my country, but we’ve been living for seven months in Greece like prisoners.”

Adan, from Aleppo, has abandoned his dream of building a new life in Europe, like thousands of other Syrians trapped in Greece.

He’s just arrived at the station in Didymoteicho, a village near the Greece-Turkey border, with his wife, three children and five other relatives, and is preparing to go through a police checkpoint before trying to get into Turkey, the start of a long journey home.

More here.

There should be an ad campaign highlighting these stories and broadcast around the world!

angelina-and-limon
***The International Institute of St. Louis responsible for placing the Syrians in a bad neighborhood is a subcontractor of the US Committee for Refugees and Immigrants (USCRI) (97% funded by you, the taxpayer.)
USCRI is the federal contractor responsible for Twin Falls, Idaho, Reno, Nevada and Rutland, VT to name a few and its CEO is Lavinia Limon, pals with Angelina Jolie.
The Dept. of State has previously shuttered subcontractors of USCRI for problems such as the one described here. The most memorable case was in Waterbury, CT back in May 2008.  Maybe Angelina needs to have a word with Ms. Limon.

Syrian refugee numbers to soar in Nevada in FY2017; cheap labor needed!

We learned about the Syrian numbers soaring yesterday from Michael Patrick Leahy at Breitbart.
His story is here. If you live in Nevada you need to read this!

We’ve told you about the new resettlement office in Reno on several occasions.

We were fortunate to have an advance copy of the R & P Abstract for Reno long before the fiscal year began (back in May!). You can read about it here and see especially the information on the letters of support that were attached.

tesla
Besides the University of Nevada looking for employees (janitors?), another reason given in the Abstract was that Tesla would open its battery plant outside of Reno in 2017. Can you say a plentiful supply of federally subsidized cheap immigrant labor needed? Just like Chobani in Twin Falls, Idaho!

It is that Reno Abstract that helped me understand how detailed the Abstracts are and to realize that many being reluctantly released by resettlement contractors to concerned citizens are abbreviated versions.
Unfortunately, unlike many communities developing ‘pockets of resistance’ (Rutland, VT for example), it seemed there was no interest by Reno citizens to question what was coming to their community.  Maybe some will speak up now.
However, the office is open in Reno and they are extremely difficult to close once opened (see ‘Ten things you need to know’).
See also our subsequent post on Reno’s new office here where we learned something important! The Dept. of State has identified 47 new sites***!
This is one of the letters of support in the Reno FY2017 Abstract prepared by the US Committee for Refugees and Immigrants (USCRI, the same federal contractor embroiled in controversy in Twin Falls, Idaho and Rutland, VT).

Rutland, VT: More secret exchanges revealed by Judicial Watch FOIA

Why should citizens have to use freedom of information act requests to find out how the federal government and its refugee contractors are planning to change the demographics (and the culture!) of hundreds of American towns and cities?

lavinia-and-chobani
When Ms. Merdzanovic refers to her HQ she is referring to Lavinia Limon. This is Lavinia Limon, CEO of USCRI, sharing the stage with Mr. Chobani (Hamdi Ulukaya) at the same Clinton Global Initiative gathering where Bill Clinton and Ulukaya thought it was a great idea to repopulate Detroit with Syrian refugees. Chobani Yogurt actively seeks refugee employees for their yogurt plants in New York and Idaho. Ms. Limon supplies the town of Twin Falls (Idaho) with refugees. Cozy huh? The good citizens of Rutland should find out and expose what business entities are driving the resettlement in Rutland.

Here is more news on ‘secret Saturday’ (see Hillary secret speeches) about how the Open Borders Left (including refugee resettlement contractors!) is working in collusion with certain local elected officials to hide information from the public.
From Judicial Watch yesterday:

(Washington, DC) – Judicial Watch today released 128 pages of documents it obtained from the mayor of Rutland, Vermont, showing a concerted effort by the mayor and a number of private organizations to conceal from the public their plans to resettle 100 Syrian refugees into the small southern Vermont town.

The documents include an April 14, 2016, email from Amila Merdzanovic, executive director of the Vermont Refugee Resettlement Program, to Mayor Christopher Louras, in which she wrote:

I want to share with you the concern my HQ has about holding a public forum. If we open it up to anybody and everybody, all sorts of people will come out of woodwork. Anti-immigrant, anti-anything. They suggest that the forum be invite only but make it as wide as possible. Work with faith leaders, United Way, etc… Perhaps, we could go back to the Congregational Church and continue the conversation there.

[….]

On April 10, 2016, she wrote to the director of the State Refugee Office about her coordination with the mayor to keep the resettlement program secret:

He did share with me that the Governor’s office called him after getting a frantic call from DOL [Vermont Department of Labor] inquiring about the plan to resettle ‘100 Syrians in the next month’ in Rutland. Again, I cannot emphasize enough the importance of not sharing the information even if it is confidentially. Please respect our process, you will have plenty of opportunity to share and take action once we have met with the stakeholders. At that point we can and will share it widely. It will not serve any one of us well if the community in Rutland learned about it through the grapevine and not directly from us. The above example shows that what people hear and how they interpret it is two different things.

Visit Judicial Watch here for more and especially if you want to follow links for the documents they received.
We reported here that the Department of State has given the green light for the first 100 Syrians to be placed in Rutland later this year. And, I am emphasizing the word ‘first’ because once your town gets a resettlement office there is no stopping the flow! (See ‘Ten things your town needs to know,’ by clicking here).
USCRI is 97% funded by you!

By the way, the DOS has, we are told, identified 47 new resettlement sites in America to accommodate Obama’s proposed 110,000 refugees for FY2017 which began last Saturday.  These are the sites we know of so far. As we have said this is all  planned in secrecy, but if you can help identify others, please let us know!

US State Department shoving refugees down their throats in Rutland, VT

After months and months of meetings and angry protests, the US State Department has decided to ignore the controversy and begin sending refugees to Rutland before the end of the year.
Just a reminder that the DOS told Senator Sessions subcommittee yesterday that they haven’t decided how many of the 110,000 refugees Obama wants admitted beginning Saturday will be in that number.  We recently reported that a contractor spilled the beans in California and said it would be 20,000-30,000.

lavinia-limon
This is the woman who will now be deciding Rutland’s demographic and cultural future. She is the CEO of USCRI and Stacie Blake’s boss. And, she is responsible for the troubles in Twin Falls, Idaho. Limon formerly headed the federal Office of Refugee Resettlement under Bill Clinton. Learn more about her here: http://www.breitbart.com/big-government/2016/08/05/twin-falls-refugee-crisis-clinton-appointee/

I predict there will be a wild orgy of resettlements across America in October, November and December and right up until inauguration day so that this administration can get as many ‘new Americans’ seeded before the start of a new presidency.
Of course, if Hillary wins we are done, and, with agreement from the Republican leadership (and the Chamber of Commerce), our gates will be thrown open.
Be sure to see our post yesterday where the embattled (now victorious) Rutland mayor was selling refugee resettlement to rural upstate New York.  He called his local opponents on the issue “ignorant by design.”
Here is the news from Vermont Digger:

RUTLAND — Rutland has been selected as a resettlement site for 100 Syrian and Iraqi refugees, according to a State Department spokesperson. The announcement comes after five months of heated debate over whether this small city has the capacity to take in refugees fleeing violence in the Middle East.

“I’m delighted that the Department of State has the faith in our community to be a host city for refugee resettlement,” said Mayor Chris Louras after the announcement Wednesday. “We understand it’s not going to be easy, that there will be challenges, but this community is at its very best when it rises to the challenge.”

Stacie Blake, director of government and community relations for the U.S. Committee for Refugees and Immigrants, said she believes the first families will arrive in mid-December or early January. Blake said USCRI will open an office in Rutland and have two full-time staff members. Staff will undergo an intensive training process that includes working in the agency’s Colchester office, Blake said.

A State Department spokesperson said that although the proposal for 100 refugees has been approved, the number is subject to change. Once refugees arrive in the United States they are free to live wherever they choose.

This is what they will do to any town that thinks it will only be 50 or 100 refugees. Next year it will be 150-200 and pretty soon Rutland will be Lancaster, PA with 700 a year and many many problems!
By the way, does Rutland have a mosque yet? Just asking.
If I lived in Rutland, although too late as your governor and Obama are shoving the refugees down your throats, I would do everything in my power to get rid of this mayor.
