June Refugee Numbers: 43 States ‘Welcomed’ Refugees, but None Placed in Delaware

As regular readers know, Comrade Joe has promised to aim for 62,500 refugees to be admitted to the US through the US Refugee Admissions Program by the end of this September.

For new readers, these are ‘refugees’ chosen by the UN from largely Africa, Asia and the Middle East and do NOT include the hundreds of thousands of border invaders.

1,530 impoverished third worlders were admitted in June which brings the total for the first nine months of Fiscal year 2021 to 4,780.  At this rate they will have to do some serious ‘welcoming’ to reach even Trump’s lowest admission record of all time—11,814.

You can see the limited data available at the Refugee Processing Center.

At the end of the Trump administration the data was voluminous, but now is limited to only the most cursory information.

The first thing I noticed when looking at the data was that it sure looks like we are still moving the entirety of the Democratic Republic of Congo to America!  More on that in a minute.

And, I noticed that some of the usual top ‘welcoming’ states were not at the top any longer and some others had crept into the top ten.

The regulars Texas, New York, Michigan and California are there, but Kentucky! beats out California for a spot in the top five when it comes to admitting the Congolese.  Big Poultry must need workers!

Kentucky got 92 refugees in June and 81 were from the DR Congo!

Six states and the District of Columbia got zip, zero, nada refugees. West Virginia got one refugee this year.

Joe Biden’s Delaware was one of the six that have none.

In fact, long time readers know that Joe Biden and Ted Kennedy created the refugee program back in 1979, and yet Delaware has only received a handful of refugees over the last 40 years.

Here are the states (and the District of Columbia) which had no resettlements this fiscal year:  Alabama, Delaware, Hawaii, Louisiana, Mississippi, and Wyoming.  New readers are always fascinated to hear that Wyoming has never allowed any refugee resettlement.

Here is the top ten line up.  Although the numbers are small so far, you should consider these as leading contenders for the big flood Biden promises for FY22 (125,000 anticipated) which begins on October 1, 2021—in less than three months.

NY (117)

MI (100)

KY (92)

TX (82)

WI (78)  This is the first time I have seen Wisconsin even in the top ten!

CA (74)

AZ (71)

GA (65)

TN (65)

CO (62)  I don’t recall Colorado ever being in the top ten either.

More than 50% of this month’s ‘new American refugees’ (829) are from the DR Congo.

And, because it is so easy to go down memory lane and bring you older posts (from when the data was still available at the Refugee Processing Center), here is a 2019 post (with screenshots) in which I reminded readers that it was the Obama administration that in 2013 promised the United Nations we would move 50,000 Congolese to a town near you over the following five years.

In 2019 we were already 8,999 over that cap!  I said then that I doubted even the Trump State Department remembered there was a cap of 50,000.

We could easily be pushing 70,000 now, but the data is not available.

Obama Told UN We Would Take 50,000 Congolese Refugees in Five Years! Time is up!

Somali and Rohingya Muslims Celebrate World Refugee Day in Greeley, Colorado

The “crowd?” The purpose of UN designated World Refugee Day events, like this one in Greeley, is to create a positive media spin, to generate  warm and fuzzy feelings as the Open Borders Left changes America by changing the people.

It wasn’t exactly a crowd in attendance at Greeley’s celebration of World Refugee Day on June 20th, and it really wouldn’t be worth writing about except for the fact that back in 2008 I created an entire category here at RRW to archive all of the news and controversy coming out of Greeley as the Somalis flowed in to work at massive meatpacking plants located in the area.

Meatpackers wanted the cheap refugee labor so desperately that they caved to demands for religious accommodation at many plants throughout the West and the Midwest.

I began following the controversy in my first year (2007) of writing this blog and today begins my 15th year.  Am I nuts?

There are 9,656 posts here at RRW, which I began publishing with my friend Judy in July of 2007. I surely would have hit the 10,000 mark if I hadn’t been deplatformed for awhile in 2019.

I can’t say I’ve accomplished much other than creating a massive archive.

https://vridar.org/2016/09/01/the-founder-of-islamist-extremism-and-terrorism/

My category entitled ‘Greeley/Swift/Somali controversy has 97 posts in it.  Anyone interested in writing a book about how giant globalist meat companies have changed America have their research done for them!

One little nugget I learned when I started writing about Greeley, which I visited in my 2016 travels to see meatpacking towns which experienced demographic change, was that Greeley has the dubious distinction of being considered the birthplace of Al Qaeda.

What!!!!

See for yourself!

Legacy of Islamic revolutionary’s hate haunts Greeley

I wrote about Greeley’s dubious role here in 2008:

Muslims in Greeley today and that city’s role in the birth of Al Qaeda

Enough of my trip down memory lane.

Here is the news about World Refugee Day with its focus on Somali refugee Abdi Adan who doesn’t work in a slaughter plant but works for the Lutherans to supply more Somali workers for globalist meatpackers in Colorado.

By the way, they are getting jazzed everywhere throughout the West as Biden promises 125,000 refugees from Asia, Africa and the Middle East will be admitted beginning in October.  See cheap labor needed in Idaho!

For new readers this is in addition to the millions flowing in illegally now.

From the Greeley Tribune:

Greeley community celebrates World Refugee Day with annual event at Delta Park

A day dedicated to inclusivity, diversity and celebration

A Somali man assisted by Lutheran Family Services in his resettlement to Greeley now has a job with the agency managing other refugees’ cases.

Abdi Adan was one of several refugees who shared their stories Sunday at the annual World Refugee Day Celebration at Delta Park in Greeley. Adan spoke of past hardships, spending 18 years in refugee camps in Kenya before moving to the United States with his family. His children were awarded citizenship in 2019.

Adan praised Lutheran Family Services for helping him resettle to the United States.

“Finally, I am very happy to be part of the LFS team who are dedicated to serve refugees,” Adan said Sunday. “My message to all refugees over the world, is to not give up hope no matter how long you struggle in refugee camps and just wait your chance for a better life.”

World Refugee Day is meant to make sure refugees know the community wants them, supports them and is a welcoming place for all different types of people, according to Immigrant and Refugee Center Executive Director Lisa Taylor.

The Greeley Tribune reports that about 50 people were in attendance to demonstrate that Greeley was “welcoming,” but one wonders where were the other 100,000 or so residents of the city.

And, by the way, it is worth mentioning the list of organizations putting on the party whose purpose was to continue to normalize the idea of changing the American heartland with the importation of diverse, and in this case, Muslim refugees.

Different organizations from the community — The Immigrant and Refugee Center, Lutheran Family Services, Soccer Without Borders, Trust For Public Land, the city of Greeley and High Plains Library District — collaborated to provide a memorable experience for attendees.

What the heck does the Trust for Public Land have to do with this?  They are a radical leftwing environmental group I know from my days of fighting to keep private lands out of the hands of the federal government.

Check out the pictures at the Greeley Tribune.

Sure looks like the “crowd” was mostly the volunteers for the groups putting on the event, but of course the newspaper is never going to tell you that!

Here They Come! Ethiopian Resettlement Contractor Wants More Refugees in Small Town Vermont

And, so does Vermont’s Republican Governor Phil Scott who has (according to the AP) asked Harris/Biden for more refugees!

It is surprising isn’t it that Vermont, the homeland of Bernie Socialist Sanders really hasn’t ‘welcomed’ very many refugees compared even to other states of a similar size, but all of that might change starting in October.

What is happening in October?

The Harris/Biden team says they will increase refugee admissions for FY2022 which begins October first to 125,000.  That would be the highest annual refugee cap in decades—more than Obama ever dreamed of!  And, now the hunt is on for their new homes.

This article from the Associated Press would have you believe small cities were never the lucky recipients of third world diversity, but that just isn’t so.

And, by the way, know also that the AP reporter has transposed the words in the name of the organization.  It should be the Ethiopian Community Development Council known widely in the refugee industry as ECDC, a long time member of the big nine contractors*** that monopolize all resettlement and have done so for decades.

Targeted Brattleboro, VT, population 11,000

Readers may remember that an effort to make Rutland, Vermont, another small city in the white state, a home for impoverished refugees exploded into a huge controversy in 2016 that ultimately saw the pro-refugee mayor ousted.

See my Vermont archive by clicking here.

Know that this hunt for fresh territory is going on everywhere (except maybe Wyoming, but folks there need to be on the look-out) as the contractors must submit their plans to the US State Department by late summer so they can be competitive with other refugee contractors and get their allotment of paying clients (aka refugees) starting October first.

Wausau, Wisconsin is also on the target list according to this report.

From AP at US News:

Refugee Resettlement Nonprofit Plans New Programs in Vermont

BRATTLEBORO, Vt. (AP) — A refugee resettlement nonprofit has plans to start a new program in Vermont to relocate refugees in smaller, more rural communities across the United States.

The Ethiopian Development Community Council, a nonprofit agency that partners with the State Department to resettle refugees in the U.S., wants to launch its program in Brattleboro because of the city’s support. The first families should arrive in the city before the end of the year if the program is approved by the federal government, Vermont Public Radio reported Monday.

The nonprofit has also chosen Wausau [Wisconsin–ed] to test out the program, pending federal approval.

The nonprofit is preparing for an influx of refugees since the Biden Administration has promised to increase the number of refugees allowed in the country and reopen the refugee resettlement program that the previous Trump Administration imposed restrictions on, the radio station reported.

Tsehaye Teferra

“If we want to create integration of refugees, having them only in big cities where they would be congregating among themselves, only, is not going to help long-term integration,” said Tsehaye Tefera, the founder of the Ethiopian Development Community Council.

That may sound like a nice sentiment but in reality refugees resettled in smaller cities generally migrate after a few months to larger cities because they want to live in enclaves with their own kind of people!

The most visible of the ethnic groups, partaking of what the industry calls secondary migration, are the Somalis loading up Minnesota.

Back to AP at US News….

Social and economic organizations in Windham County have been supportive, but efforts to resettle refugees in Vermont have been controversial in the past, Vermont Public Radio reported.

Elwell was formerly the manager in Palm Beach County, Florida.

Brattleboro town manager Peter Elwell said he knows there could be opposition to the resettlement program, but regardless, the plan is in line with the town’s priority to improve equity in one of the whitest states in the country.

Earlier this year, Gov. Phil Scott asked the State Department to increase the refugee cap in Vermont.

Scott called refugee resettlement “an integral part of our efforts to grow Vermont’s economy.”

However, see this report from FAIR which examined the ten smallest immigrant population states and determined that increasing the percentage of migrants going to the state would have an outsized negative impact on the economy and on the social fabric of the state.

You might be interested to know that ECDC is likely the smallest of the big nine resettlement contractors and generally over the years has kept a low political profile as others of the contractors, most notably HIAS, LIRS and Church World Service, were out making political noise and suing the Trump Administration.

However, much to my surprise Teferra took a public swipe at Trump here in July of 2020.

Virginia: Ethiopian Community Development Council Prez Speaks Out Against Trump Admin

You will see in that post that the ‘non-profit’ organization is effectively a government agency as almost the entirety of its $13 million budget comes from you, the US taxpayers.

***In case you are new to RRW, here are all of the nine contractors that have monopolized all refugee distribution in the US for decades.

They worked to ‘elect’ Biden/Harris and lobby for open borders.  As taxpayers you pay them millions annually to change America by changing the people.

Two of the contractors, the USCCB and Lutheran Immigration and Refugee Service are also paid to find locations for the Unaccompanied Alien Children.

At this very moment they are all out scouting for new, fresh territory in which to place their refugee clients.  See Winchester, VA.

Foreigners First! is their motto!

Seattle: A Decade after Threatening to Blow Up a School Bus, Somali Refugee Running for County Council

Here we go again…. move over Ilhan Omar!

The story from The Blaze:

Leftist political candidate once threatened to blow up school bus, called children ‘white cowards’ as they fled: court docs

A political candidate in Washington once threatened to blow up a school bus full of children, and when the students attempted to flee the potentially deadly situation she called the kids “white cowards,” according to court documents.

Ubax Gardheere is running for the King County Council in the Seattle area. Gardheere is the director of the Equitable Development Division in Seattle’s Office of Planning and Community Development, which works with organizations on “anti-displacement efforts in high displacement risk neighborhoods, with a continued emphasis on serving BIPOC communities that have been targeted by systemic and institutional racism.”

Gardheere labels herself as a community organizer “focused on policy and systemic healing.” Gardheere, who calls herself a “bureactivist,” says she has “extensive experience in social justice and transformative practices.”

[….]

On Jan. 12, 2010, Gardheere allegedly boarded a school bus while it was transporting children to the Chinook Middle School. “Gardheere demanded the driver tell his dispatcher ‘that a national security incident was going on,'” according to a new report from the Post Millennial.

Gardheere, who is a Somali immigrant, began yelling at the children about America’s relationship with Somalia, according to police reports.

The school bus driver instructed Gardheere to exit the vehicle, but she retaliated by saying that she may have a bomb and a gun, the court docs say.

“You need to calm yourselves down ’cause I could have a bomb. Look how loose my clothes are,” Gardheere said, according to an audio recording of the incident described in court documents.

I’ve highlighted that line above because just yesterday at my local women’s shooting club meeting we were instructed on “situational awareness” and told to be more observant about clothing that could hide a weapon (obviously Gardheere was aware of the advantages of her Somali clothes).  In our case yesterday we were instructed that someone wearing an item of winter clothing on a hot summer day might be of concern.

But I digress, back to the story….

Gardheere was hit with felony charges of kidnapping, but worked out a plea deal with prosecutors to get the felonies down to a misdemeanor.

A few weeks after she made veiled threats to bomb a middle school bus with children onboard, Gardheere gave an interview to Seattle Weekly. Gardheere told the paper that she was suffering from postpartum depression after the birth of her son three years earlier.

“She said her mental condition worsened after she stopped in Dubai to see in-laws on her way to visit Somalia in 2008,” the article from January 2010 said. “Then, according to her account, she was nearly raped by someone at the house where she was staying–and beaten up by police when she tried to report the incident.”

She writes-off the school bus terrorism as temporary mental illness.

Her mental illness aside, here is the big question for me!

(See her campaign website where she discusses her refugee status.)

If she was admitted to the US as a starving refugee at age 15, her family would have told the UN and the US State Department that they would be persecuted in Somalia and that they feared for their safety if they were forced to return to their home country.

Then why was she returning to Somalia for a visit in 2008?

Which begs the next question—why was she a refugee admitted to America in the first place if she can just pop back there for a social visit?

Rep. Ilhan Omar did the same thing!

Is Minnesota Rep. Ilhan Omar a Poster Child for Refugee Fraud?

This returning to the home country (where a refugee claims they were persecuted) for a “visit” is common practice among Somalis and some other refugee frauds as well.

In my dreams I see deportation for any ‘refugee’ who returns to the country they claimed they were escaping!

Curious about a time-line for Gardheere, here is a brief summary of what I found.  I couldn’t quickly find an article reporting her age, but did find that she was 29 when she terrorized the school children in 2010, and she admits she was 15 when she was resettled as a refugee.

That makes her around 40 years old today.

She describes herself as a single mother with three children and I wondered where might hubby be now. She did have in-laws in Dubai in 2008, or so she says.

(Wondering about Somalis in Dubai, I learned that there are many prosperous Somalis doing business between Dubai and Mogadishu, so was Gardheere a legitimate refugee?)

We assume she was resettled in the Seattle area because unfortunately for Americans there, the area was a prime resettlement site for Somalis.  Not as huge as Minneapolis, but up in the top 5 or so for sure.

I went back to one of the most-read posts of my nearly 14 years writing this blog, and see that she was likely ‘welcomed’ to America in 1996 during Bill Clinton’s term in office.

How did we get so many Somali refugees—the numbers are telling

It is a shame that I stopped updating that post in 2016, because as I reported previously, the data is now not available to the public except possibly in Annual Reports to Congress  and available there only up to 2018.

Was “man” Who Slaughtered Teen in North Dakota a Refugee?

That is the question I’ve had more than once in the last couple of days.

If you don’t know what happened see my post yesterday at ‘Frauds and Crooks’ here:

Fargo, North Dakota: “Man” Attacks Skateboarder in Deadly Knife Assault

You will see that I put the word “man” in quotes  and that is because that is what the media does, use the word man, when the alleged killer, rapist or criminal is of a race or nationality that doesn’t fit the corporate media message that diversity is beautiful.

But, I can’t always fault reporters who don’t dig deeper because frankly unless the man accused of a crime mentions his immigration status (often as part of his defense) there is almost no way for citizens to know if someone is here via the US Refugee Admissions Program, Temporary Protected Status, Special Immigrant Visa, the Green Card Lottery, as an Unaccompanied Alien Child, or on a worker visa, and the list goes on.

Or, is the perp a run-of-the mill border jumper or did he overstay a visa and just disappear into America?

The Trump Administration ended our ability to learn more about the refugees coming to your towns and cities.

For years we could at least make an educated guess if a criminal in the news was a refugee.

We could narrow the field because the US State Department had a data clearinghouse where we could see what nationalities refugees were and where they were being placed right down to the city in which they were resettled.

Limited information is available, but that extensive data is no longer accessible to the public.

By the way, as for the creep in North Dakota, Heavy says there is no information on where he is from (I guessed Liberia in my post):

According to police, Kollie did not have a permanent address and information about his family and other details of his background were not immediately available.

I’m thinking that the average American, not an immigration policy wonk like you and me, doesn’t care which “program” admitted the criminal, most people just want less of them admitted.

However, if we are ever going to improve immigration in America we need to know where the holes are where criminals, terrorists and the mentally ill and others who just want to suck off the US taxpayers are getting through the system and arriving in places like Fargo, North Dakota.

I’m dreaming!

I’ve said this before, but how about a federal law that requires all law enforcement to publish the immigration status of any criminal charged with a felony?  And, not just whether they are legally here or not, but through which route they came to be living in the community where they have committed a serious crime.

Back to my headline question….

The Leftwing media (even law enforcement) expects us to stay silent when they keep quiet about the immigration status of a criminal.

I will bet law enforcement in Fargo knows Kollie’s status and maybe an enterprising local reporter will unearth the information. He could, after all, be a born and bred African-American.

But, as long as no one is confirming if Kollie is a refugee (or not a refugee) from West Africa, then go ahead and call him a refugee!

After all, everyone is a refugee these days!

I am referring to the Leftwing propagandists and all of the political leaders here and around the world who have used the refugee label to put a positive spin on anyone on the move for any reason anywhere.

If we call all the evil doers refugees, then maybe, just maybe, the need for clarity in the use of the word will dawn on them!
