Memory Lane: Refugee Criminals and Terrorists Through the Years

When reader Paul pointed out to me that in an opinion piece from Billings Montana entitled: “Guest opinion: Billings should welcome refugees in our community,” included this paragraph it sent me on a trip down memory lane (something I plan to do more of as my 14th year writing this blog begins on Thursday)!

It would be naïve to believe that all Montanans agree with us, but we suspect many concerns about refugee resettlement are rooted in misinformation. Refugees are distinct from those seeking asylum at the U.S.-Mexico border. Refugees come at the invitation of our federal government and, as a Heritage Foundation report notes, already “undergo more vetting than any other immigrants to the U.S.” It’s a credit to our government that not a single one of more than 3 million refugees resettled since the Refugee Act was signed in 1980 has taken the life of a U.S. citizen in a terrorist attack.

I don’t have the energy right now to go into the subject of the traitors at the Heritage Foundation or the fact that the UN picks our refugees, but I am sick to the death of the line I highlighted above.  And, never mind the fact that the Biden Administration is softening its stance on vetting after Trump put in place stricter vetting.

Note the qualifiers: “taken the life of a U.S. citizen in a terrorist attack.”  Well, they sure as hell have come close!  And, if you count the Boston Bombers who were refugees via the asylum system, they sure did kill Americans.

In 2010 a Somali refugee was arrested and ultimately convicted for planning a bomb attack on Portland’s Christmas tree lighting ceremony.

And, more importantly remember that some terrorist attacks were planned by refugees but thwarted before they could execute their plans.

Without a doubt, some refugees have, sure as hell, raped Americans and committed other violent crimes.

They have killed some of their own fellow refugees as well, but apparently the refugee apologists don’t care about whether they kill foreigners or their own family members.  I guess they don’t count!

Back in 2017 I put together a list of some refugee terror attack plans and included additional crimes perpetrated by the thoroughly “vetted” refugees!

I have over 9,000 posts here at RRW, so I am sure there are other refugee criminal posts I’m missing above, but I think you get the drift.

And incidentally, a Somali refugee just went on a killing spree in Germany, so what makes anyone think this isn’t going to happen here:

The federal refugee contractors and their hundreds of subcontractors are out now frantically searching for new unsuspecting communities willing to ‘welcome’ some of Biden’s promised 125,000 refugees expected to begin arriving on October first of this year.

Thus you may see pieces in your local paper, like the one above from the Billings Gazette which are for the purpose of softening-up your town or city so citizens don’t resist their plans to change America by changing the people.

For new readers, here are the nine major contractors.  So far the International Rescue Committee has its hooks in Montana.

 

Did Montana Dodge a Bullet? Might it be Italy Right Now?

The first thing I thought of when I read this post by an Italian man who describes how Italy is gone was whatever happened to that proposed Chinese meatpacking plant in Montana?

As described by author Giacomino Nicolazzo  the COVID disaster for Italy has its roots in the deals  between the Leftists running the Italian government and the Chinese who were furiously buying up one industry after another primarily in the Italian north.

A recipe for disaster?

Along with those purchases of major industries they were sending in Chinese workers, many from Wuhan, to help run their new acquisitions.  It is long, but well worth reading because it makes sense.

What Montana Chinese slaughterhouse you ask?

This one! I told you about it in 2017 when Montana ranchers and their US Republican Senator Steve Daines were cooking up a trade deal with China that would see the export of Montana beef to China.

But, someone figured it would be so much easier if the Chinese actually ran a meat packing facility right there in Montana.

Here is one thing I said in that post:

I suppose there is one bright side–unlike Chobani Yogurt in nearby Idaho, I doubt the Chinese owners will approve of Muslim workers in light of their clear historical animosity to the ‘religion of peace.’  I can just see the mess when the Chinese company gets hit with some discrimination lawsuits when they say “NO” to Somali workers.

Heck, maybe they will insist on bringing in Chinese workers!

So then what happened to the scheme?

I looked around today and the best answer I could find was that the deal began to fizzle when Trump’s trade war with China began.

Nevertheless in the summer of 2018, Montana cattlemen were still dreaming that they would see a giant Chinese meat plant in ‘Big Sky’ country.

HELENA, Montana – Montana officials are hoping that a blockbuster deal with Chinese retail giant JD.com to export local beef will be possible despite the US Government’s escalating trade war with China.

“We are still talking,” Jay Bodner, executive vice-president of the Montana Stockgrowers Association (MSA), said.

In an exclusive interview with Xinhua on Tuesday, Bodner said the win-win deal inked last November in Beijing is not dead in the water, despite a 25-percent tariff on $34 billion of imports from China imposed by the Trump administration last Friday.

Beijing’s expected response – an additional 25-percent import tax on top of an existing 12-percent hike – was hard for Montana to digest, especially in light of the pending JD.com deal.

“There is a pretty high level of concern,” Bodner, a rancher from eastern Montana who has been with the MSA for 16 years, said.

Comparing JD.com to America’s Amazon.com, he said the Chinese internet giant’s commitment to spend up to $100 million to build Montana’s largest meat processing facility was still on the table.

Silver lining…..

I guess we can safely say that any such deals like this one with China are dead in the wake of the plague exported from China to the world.

And, the importance of putting Americans first has never been so clear.

 

Montana Mayor Apologizes for Signing onto Appeal for 95,000 Refugees for 2020

In case you are wondering, Mayor Bob Kelly didn’t send a letter to the US State Department in response to the President’s reform effort that we have been writing about almost daily, but had earlier joined a list (apparently still growing) of elected officials across 46 states which were demanding that the President admit 95,000 refugees in FY2020 before he actually set the ceiling at 18,000.

[Don’t forget, Democrat candidates for President are saying they want over 100,000. Biden says 125,000 and Warren says 175,000.  Bernie is vague but does say he wants at least 50,000 climate refugees alone in his mix.]

However it seems that the list that I published here last September, which at the time had 361 officials requesting 95,000 refugees, is making the rounds and I saw it again a couple of days ago with 400 listed!

See Welcome Refugees!

 

Look around and see what jumps out at you.

There is no contact information to indicate who is behind the effort.  I presume it is the nine federal refugee contractors or its lobbying arm—the Refugee Council USA—but no where is there any information that would guide elected officials when making a decision to sign on.

Even before I saw Mayor Kelly’s mea culpa I wondered who would be so irresponsible to sign this letter without any information on who is pushing it?

As I did in September, I am publishing the whole list below as a useful guide (in case it disappears) in helping you decide who to work to remove from office!

By the way, in 2017 there was much talk about China (yes, the country of China!) opening a meatpacking plant in Montana, but I have no idea if that played at all into the mayor’s thinking when he signed onto the letter in support of more refugees (more low-skilled laborers).

Great Falls Mayor Bob Kelly apologized Wednesday for a letter he signed last year asking President Donald Trump to support an increase in the number of refugees allowed to settle in the United States.

While Kelly said that he remains deeply concerned about displaced people in the world, including 25 million refugees, he apologized for using the mayor’s office to support the cause.

“I realize, however, that as mayor of our community, it may not be a concern you share,” Kelly wrote to residents in a post on his mayor’s Facebook page. “By implying your inclusion in my concern, I misrepresented you. For that, I am sorry. As mayor of our wonderful community, I try very hard to navigate only toward local issues or state issues that affect local communities. The national issues that currently divide us deserve little, if any role in our decision-making process at the local level.”

Here we are, just what I wanted to know.  The federal refugee contractors are behind the effort to ‘out’ supporters of more refugees for your towns and cities.

Soft Landing Missoula, which assists refugees in resettling in the western Montana community, asked Kelly to support the national effort.

Soft Landing is a subcontractor of the International Rescue Committee.

Located in Missoula, Soft Landing is 165 miles from Great Falls which means that they have aspirations for expansion beyond their Missoula home base.

Go here and see that they (whoever they are!) say they plan to continue to update the list and reissue it as one more bit of news presumably with which to bash the President in advance of the 2020 Presidential contest.

LOL! Wait a few days, refresh the list,  and see if Mayor Kelly’s name is removed.

There is an excellent piece at the World Tribune you all should take a minute or two to read.  It is about the transformation of Virginia and the soon to be transformed Montana if the Open Borders Democrats continue their great replacement strategy (only slowed at the moment by the President).

For new readers, I have written often about what is happening in Montana, click here, for more background.  I visited the state in 2016 while touring the West and Midwest to meet many Americans who have concluded that diversity is not strength and who love their towns and cities just the way they are without the importation of needy third world refugees.

Last week we focused on how the former red bastion of Virginia has been flipped to blue thanks in large part to demographic change spurred by massive Third World immigration. [The do-nothing Virginia Republican Party must share the blame!—]

Having lived in Northern Virginia for some 20-odd years in the 1990s through the Oughts, I watched with my own eyes as respectable middle-class neighborhoods in Falls Church, Fairfax and abutting towns were transformed into decrepit crime-plagued eyesores due to the “enrichment” that comes with Third World immigration.

There really was little left to do but find a way to earn well over $100,000 a year and join the “tolerant” white liberals and privileged career federal employees in their upscale Leesburg and McLean zip codes or leave. I never did make it to McLean.

So it is sad to see the process repeating itself all over again in, of all places, the natural beauty of Big Sky Country.

As CEO of the International Rescue Committee, British citizen and globalist David Miliband is responsible for placing refugees in Montana. He lives and works in Manhattan and pulls down a partially federally funded salary of $900,000 a year! I call that doing well by doing good!

In short, our ruling globalists are determined that there be no corner of America left untouched by Third World immigration. A powerful global NGO called the International Rescue Committee helped settle Hmong refugees in Missoula in the 1980s. The IRC was able to successfully re-open its refugee resettlement operations in this city of 74,000 inhabitants in 2016 thanks to the emotional distress felt by a group of Missoula female book club members upon seeing the infamous photo of a drowned Syrian boy on a Turkish beach in 2015.

If you want to know how Virginia was lost, this is how it begins. Beyond all the virtue signaling about diversity and openness there of course lie very genuine concerns about importing foreigners who do not share the traditional American values that buttress our Constitutional freedoms.

This is especially prevalent with Muslims from the Middle East and Africa. Then there are the shocking health fears. The Ebola plague is currently raging in the Congo. Also underreported are the high financial costs to struggling U.S. taxpayers that come with resettling refugees.

This is the brave new world globalist organizations have in mind for formerly stable American neighborhoods from Manassas, Virginia to Missoula, Montana. If their work continues, Democrat majorities will hardly be the only distinguishing feature of these sullen heterogeneous, multilingual locales.

By the way, the author says the IRC resettles the most refugees annually in the US.  I thought the US Conference of Catholic Bishops held that distinction. No matter, I am sure one or other is a close second.

My first thought when I read Coulter’s piece was of the warning that Pat Buchanan trumpeted for years in innumerable books. It must be maddening for him to see his predictions playing out just the way he said they would.

And, I see Ann Coulter yesterday chastised the Republicans for not seeing that their weak immigration policies are allowing the Dems to turn red states blue with immigrant voters who invariably vote for the party giving them stuff.

Putting these two events together one can only conclude that the R’s want money and D’s want voters and the rest of us be damned.

Yes Virginia, Immigration is Turning the Country Blue

Hey, Republicans! Did you enjoy Election Night last week? Get ready for a lot more nights like that as immigration turns every last corner of the country blue.

When Ed Gillespie lost in Virginia, liberals crowed about how they’re winning the war of ideas. The country has thoroughly, emphatically rejected Trumpism!

Republicans, being idiots, played along, arguing only about whether Gillespie’s problem was that he didn’t embrace Trump enough or embraced him too much.

Gillespie’s campaign was fine. No cleverer arguments, community outreach or perfectly timed mailings would have changed the result. Contrary to The New York Times’ celebratory article in last Sunday’s magazine, “How the ‘Resistance’ Helped Democrats Dominate Virginia,” it wasn’t Democratic operative Kathryn Sorenson’s savvy use of Facebook, Google and Eventbrites that carried the day. “The Resistance” didn’t win.

What happened was: Democrats brought in new voters. In 1970, only one out of every 100 Virginians was foreign-born. By 2012, one in nine Virginians was foreign-born.

The foreign-born vote overwhelmingly, by about 80 percent, for Democrats. They always have and they always will — especially now that our immigration policies aggressively discriminate in favor of the poorest, least-educated, most unskilled people on Earth. They arrive in need of a LOT of government services.

According to the Pew Research Center, 75 percent of Hispanic immigrants and 55 percent of Asian immigrants support bigger government, compared to just over 40 percent of the general public. Even third-generation Hispanics support bigger government by 58 percent.

They were brought in to vote for the Democrats. That’s the real job immigrants are doing that Americans just won’t do.

As Democratic consultant Patrick Reddy wrote for the Roper Center 20 years ago, the 1965 Immigration Act, bringing in “a wave of immigration from the Third World,” will go down in history as “the Kennedy family’s greatest gift to the Democratic Party.” [Ted Kennedy was responsible for the creation of the Refugee Act of 1980 as well.—ed]

There isn’t much time on the clock before it’s lights-out for the GOP.

And all Republicans can think to do is argue about how quickly to grant amnesty to so-called “Dreamers” and give the Democrats another 30 million voters.

The Trump/Daines dumb deal!

How many times have I heard in the last decade that we have to work within the Republican party, that there is no hope for another party?

I am not buying it.

When Republicans are this dumb and this greedy they don’t deserve to be our ‘leaders!’

What happened to America First? Is Trump a globalist after all?

When Trump thinks it’s a good idea to welcome China to build a huge, polluting, meat plant in Montana (to feed the Chinese), a plant which will, without a doubt, use foreign labor (possibly even Chinese workers brought in to live in barracks!), then I’m done.

It is time for a commonsense party for commonsense people.
