Do Arkansas college students understand that refugees are there to supply Tyson Foods with cheap labor?

Editor:  There was an announcement posted here for an Arkansas college event for Canopy NWA to promote refugee resettlement in the state. The original photo was lost when the speech police had RRW removed from WordPress this past summer.

Canopy NWA is a relatively new subcontractor of Lutheran Immigration and Refugee Service (LIRS), their ‘mothership’ headquartered in Baltimore, MD. We told you about Canopy here last October.

We told you here this October, on October 24th, that LIRS has signed a contract with JBS Swift the foreign-owned globalist meatpacking giant whose North American headquarters are in Greeley, CO to find, and help them retain, cheap and compliant refugee labor for its plants in four states.

But that isn’t the only arrangement that LIRS has made with globalist corporations—they have an agreement with Tyson Foods whose headquarters are in guess where? Arkansas! (Original home of Bill and Hill and cattle futures—remember that!)

We were able to obtain this confirmation, that yes, LIRS, has a deal with Tyson Foods for a $50,000 pilot project to teach “financial literacy” to refugees, whatever the heck that means!

Subject: Tyson Foods–good news!

Dear Linda,
This evening we received some good news from Tyson Foods regarding our proposal for a pilot financial literacy project in northwest Arkansas/Missouri. Our proposal was accepted and we will be moving forward with Tyson. This is incredible news for LIRS because the clear goal of Tyson Foods is to provide financial literacy in all of their plants and to all of their team members (over 10,000) nationwide.

To quote Tyson:

“We are pleased to announce that your organization has been selected as our financial literacy award recipient. We want to formally congratulate your team on an exceptional proposal. In particular, we were impressed with the cultural and gender sensitivities it included, the overall structure of your pilot, and the local partnership networks you were able to identify. We were also encouraged to learn about your organizational experience working with one of our major competitors – JBS. We hope this will give LIRS insight into our specific industry and will help you maximize programmatic traction early on.”

Our proposal would not have been possible without Kirsten’s singular efforts, and finance’s inputs. Also, Canopy of NWA, LFS-RM, and LSS-MN played roles.

Thank you,
Nina

Note that Canopy of NWA helped make this possible along with Lutheran Family Service-Rocky Mountains, and our old pals in Minnesota—-Lutheran Social Service-MN!

LOL! I can’t help but wonder if this isn’t a small price to pay for Tyson Foods to have an inside track with a resettlement contractor who might then alert them to fresh batches of refugees (aka laborers) entering the US.

By the way, I did try to reach Ms. Zelic by e-mail, but never got a response perhaps because we hear the Baltimore office is going through some tough times?

So, would someone please tell those well-intentioned students that they are shilling for the globalists—-BIG MEAT! (and BIG CHICKEN!).

Do none of the privileged students at the University of Arkansas have friends back home who would love to work in a meat plant for good wages—the kind of wages meatpackers did pay before they discovered immigrant labor?

Pew produces handy summary of where refugees have been placed since FY02

The Pew Research Center, which has the money and time, has put together a handy interactive map to show which ethnic groups were placed in which states since fiscal year 2002.

This is the 2017 map (FY17 ended on September 30th, 2017). Of course it can be deceptive because it doesn’t show the numbers.

Take Hawaii for instance that shows Burmese predominated in the refugee flow to that state, but it doesn’t tell you that the flow was probably a whole 3 Burmese refugees (maybe 5 or 6, I was too lazy to look up the number).

The nationalities change over the years as the US jumps to the United Nations’ tune and follows its dictates as to what groups to further diversify America with (that are in vogue at the moment). DR Congo is a hit-cause right now, but watch for movement to the Burmese Rohingya.  Iraqis had their hay-day.  Bhutan chic is fading, and Syrians are oh-so-yesterday. Somalis remain a reliably cool choice year after year.

In case you are wondering, Wyoming wisely stayed out of the whole mess over decades. However, a couple of years ago the Republican governor there proposed setting up a refugee office in the state with the help of the Lutheran contractor out of its Rocky Mountain office.  There was a robust citizens’ uprising that ended that idea for now.  (See my Wyoming archive.)

Author Jynnah Radford tells us this at the end (a refresher for new readers).

Generally, refugee populations are dispersed across the U.S. based on local community resources, efforts to reunite families and the ability of nonprofit organizations to resettle refugees. Nine voluntary agencies share the national resettlement workload and determine where refugees will settle. (These agencies maintain a nationwide network of 309 affiliated offices in 180 locations to provide services.)

In other words…

Local community resources” = welfare, good medical care including mental health care and available housing, etc.  And, LOL! global companies looking for cheap and compliant labor!

Efforts to reunite families” = once they have established a seed community of a particular ethnic group in your town or city, they will bring in the extended family and that is part of the trick on you! Population gets too large and you are labeled a hate monger and racist for denying ‘family’ reunification if you ask for a slowdown.

Ability of the nonprofit organizations to resettle refugees” = do the members of the big nine*** have a subcontractor group/other citizens’ group up and running.

“Nine share the workload” = those nine have a monopoly on the resettlement process, they bid for bodies (paying clients) among the incoming refugee cases.

(Nine) “determine where refugees will resettle” = you and your community have no say, they are deciding the future of your town in secretive weekly meetings in DC.

***These are the big nine quasi-government agencies, run by no one elected by you, that make the decisions about how to change your town by changing the people (with the help of the Podesta Group and the meatpackers!).

‘Gladiator’ star Russell Crowe says he wants a refugee of his own

Sheesh!  Not sure I can ever watch ‘Gladiator’ again!

Russell Crowe
Crowe: I have a few extra rooms in my penthouse in Sydney! Photo: The Australian

Crowe wants to take a refugee home, one of the Muslims presently protesting on Manus Island where those who tried to get to Australia illegally have been housed for the last few years, and help him find a job.

The facility was to be closed by the end of October, but Australia didn’t move the wannabe Australians out and now they are huddled in the facility with no food or water creating a stand off.  They fear attack by locals if they venture outside.

Surprisingly what is missing in the news from The Australian is any Trump-bashing for not moving fast enough to consummate Obama’s “dumb deal” and bring 1,250 of them to Anytown, USA.

The impasse is a result of Australia’s policy to deter illegal migration which says if you try to break in to our country, you will never get in.  So far they are sticking with it.

Crowe:  I want to take a few home with me!

Actor Russell Crowe has blasted the Australian government for its handling of refugees at Manus Island detention centre, offering to house and find work for detainees himself.

In a series of twitter posts, the Gladiator star described the government’s current refugee processing program as “a nation’s shame”.

“Manus. A Nations shame. Lives held in limbo . Lives lived in fear & despair. It’s f***ing disgraceful,” the actor tweeted on Wednesday evening.

A spokeswoman for Immigration Minister Peter Dutton told The Australian she questioned how the actor expected to carry out his offer considering current immigration policies.

“How does he anticipate he will resettle refugees without the necessary visas?,” she said.

[Why not call his bluff and the bluffs of any other rich Leftists, give them a ‘refugee’ to take home and make them sign for full responsibility for that alien’s expenses and actions for say the next 5 or 10 years? Heck! Maybe even require an up front retainer paid to the government for say $50,000 to help repay the taxpayers for their expenses over the last few years!—ed]

Jacinda
New Zealand’s new prime minister, 37-year-old Jacinda Ardern, says her country will take 150 of the mostly male detained aliens.

Crowe’s tweets come as the UN Refugee Agency declared an “unfolding humanitarian emergency” on Manus Island, after food, running water and power was cut off at the detention centre after its official closure on Tuesday.

Some 600 asylum seekers have barricaded themselves inside the complex, fearful they will be attacked if they venture outside.

Iranian refugee Behrouz Boochani, who is among those on Manus Island, told AAP “the place is like a war zone”. [This ‘refugee’ has become the medial mouthpiece active on social media.—ed]

[….]

Earlier today, New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern confirmed an offer to take 150 refugees annually from Australia’s detention centres.

More here.

For new readers, see my Australia “dumb deal” archive here.  Last we heard about 50 have arrived in the US.

Dear Mr. President, if any of these Australian ‘refugees’ commit crimes or terror acts in the US, no one is ever going to remember they were a result of an Obama deal struck in the closing days of his administration. They will be yours! You own it now!
