Australia “closed” so fake asylum seekers will try to break into New Zealand

In the best demonstration there is that Australia’s policy of towing boats full of mostly Muslim illegal aliens back to Indonesia is working is a story like this one—human traffickers are now setting their sights on New Zealand.

See our Australia category for all the news on the Abbott government’s tough policy.

To American and European readers, we want you to know that some first world countries are taking steps to stop the illegal alien flow!

From the Sydney Morning Herald last week (Hat tip: the ever-vigilant ‘pungentpeppers’).  Emphasis is mine:

Jakarta: People smugglers in Indonesia are mounting their first credible attempt to ship asylum seekers on the hazardous voyage to New Zealand and circumvent the Abbott government’s Operation Sovereign Borders.

Four men – two from Bangladesh and two from Afghanistan – were caught last month by the Indonesian immigration department in Jayapura, West Papua, on their way to get a boat to New Zealand.

Their capture appears to have stalled, for the time being, a plot to send up to 100 people, but sources in West Java say people smugglers in the town of Cisarua are still advertising for places on a New Zealand-bound boat.

Easier to get into New Zealand than Australia?

One of the men in custody, Bangladeshi Mohammad Saiful Islam Tanu told Fairfax Media that when he had arrived earlier this year from Malaysia to Cisarua – where many asylum seekers wait as they try to get to Australia – he had been told by others that the Abbott government had “closed the way”.

“The Australian government already is closed [the way] because every boat going to Australia comes back to Indonesia. So many people say it’s impossible. Now we not try to go to Australia,” Mr Saiful said. “What can I do? And [a people smuggler] Mr Jafar told me, ‘You can go to New Zealand from Papua’.”

Mr Saiful said the smugglers had told them that it was easier to be accepted in New Zealand than Australia.

New Zealand has taken steps to deter the migrants in advance!  They will be detained!

A spokeswoman for the New Zealand embassy in Jakarta said New Zealand had never had a “mass arrival” (defined as 30 or more), but that “we are aware that people smugglers continue to express interest in targeting New Zealand through a variety of avenues, including both air and sea routes”.

[….]

Though New Zealand has been protected from the rash of asylum seekers by its distance, it has passed relatively tough new laws in case of this development. Anyone coming as part of a mass arrival can be detained until their circumstances are assessed. Even for those found eligible, there is no guarantee of permanent residence.

Norway: Muslim migrants sending their kids “home” for schooling

Well, so much for these migrants to Norway being there for asylum, for protection from persecution, if they think it’s perfectly fine to return kids (alone!) to Pakistan, Iraq and Somalia for a proper education.

A politically-correct Institute for Social Research says it’s because the kids aren’t doing well in Norway because they don’t speak Norwegian well enough.  Give me a break!  Toward the end of the story we learn the real reason—no Muslim schools in Norway and so the kiddies aren’t getting their Islamic training!

This is the photo accompanying the story. Check out the kid’s face as the Moms try to look away!

So, are the Muslim immigrants wanting to become part of Norwegian society or are they invaders?  See Al-Hijra.

From The Norway Post (emphasis mine):

Several hundred Somali-Norwegian children are sent to schools in Somalia, Kenya, Egypt and the UK, according to a recent report. The main reason is that their parents are unhappy with the Norwegian school system.

 [….]

“Parents often experience that their children are regarded as weak students, mostly because they do not speak Norwegian as well as other kids their age. It worries these parents that their children are not challenged enough in Norway,” says Hilde Lidén at the Norwegian Institute for Social Research (ISF).

Lidén is one of several researchers that have looked at the phenomenon that many children with a minority backgorund are sent abroad to attend school. It is most common among children with a background from Pakistan and Iraq, she reports.

13% of Somali kids in Norway (in one year!) have left the country and authorities don’t really know where they are!  Could they be on the US border claiming to be “unaccompanied minors?”

Just under 1900 children, or 13 percent of all children with a Somali background, emigrated in 2012. Around 60 percent of these children are likely to have moved out of Norway alone. However, this is only an indication of how many that may have moved abroad to attend to school, as there are no exact figures available.

Finally, the OTHER reason they may have left—to get a STRONG cultural and religious indoctrination into Islamic supremacist thinking.

Lidén points out that there may also be other reasons for why a family chooses to send their children abroad temporarily. To ensure that the children receive a strong cultural and religious foundation from their home country is one of them.

Aftenposten writes that several parents have reported that if there was a Muslim school option in Norway they would be more likely to let their children stay at home. Their mothers, however, are worried that the children do not learn enough about Islamic culture and values in Norway without attending an Islamic school.

Hey, here is an idea!  The whole family could stay in the home country and they wouldn’t have to live with the dilemma!

Norway has problems, see our previous posts.

Invasion of Europe: Spring migration offensive is on

They are attempting to break into Spain via Morocco where they would claim asylum:

On the fence between Morocco and Spanish territory (4/3). This group was ultimately returned to Morocco.

You can read the story here in the UK Daily Mail:

MELILLA, Spain (AP) — They perched atop a barbed-wire laced fence for more than seven hours, hands and feet bloodied, buffeted by chill winds whipping the cliffs of Africa’s Mediterranean coast.

The 27 sub-Saharan African migrants were literally on the edge between Africa’s economic misery and the long-dreamt riches of Europe: On one side of the fence was Morocco, on the other the Spanish enclave of Melilla.

[….]

The men are part of a spring migration offensive from Africa to Europe, with record numbers of desperate people risking death in their quest for a better life. They use perilous routes such as Mediterranean Sea crossings on rickety boats to the Italian island of Lampedusa or treks through desert, jungle and mountain that culminate in attempts to scale fences erected to keep them out of Melilla and Spain’s other North African enclave, Ceuta.

If they succeed and get into Spain, they will move northward to more desirable countries like Germany and the UK.

Maine: The go-to state for immigrant marriage fraud, etc. etc. etc.

What happened to Maine?  First we learned it is attracting hordes of Somali welfare moochers, then phony asylum-seeker schemers and now marriage fraudsters.

The word must be all over Africa—get to Maine!

Rashid Kakande hatched the marriage fraud scheme

Busted!  The Bangor Daily News reports that it is (was) one of the most sophisticated marriage fraud rings in the country.  And, on top of the marriage fraud, the cheats have gone one step further and claimed fake spousal abuse to assure they get to stay in the good ol’ USA (land of suckers!).

Editor’s plea to readers:  We would love to approve your comments, but you must keep them free of foul language.  We have had a couple lately (one from Maine) that are so filled with certain unnecessary words that we can’t post them.  I know you are frustrated, but you can say it without cursing and threatening.

Bangor Daily News (Hat tip:  crime sleuth ‘pungentpeppers’):

BANGOR, Maine — One of the country’s most sophisticated marriage fraud schemes officially ended Tuesday when a federal judge sentenced the last defendant to a year in prison.

Margaret Kimani, 30, of Worcester, Mass., was one of 28 defendants convicted in Maine of being part of a scam that paid American citizens living in Maine to wed African immigrants so they could more easily obtain permanent residency status, known as a green card, and achieve citizenship more easily, Maine’s U.S. Attorney Thomas E. Delahanty II said at a press conference after the sentencing.

“America’s legal immigration system is not for sale and we will move aggressively against those who willfully compromise the integrity of that system simply to enrich themselves,” said Bruce Foucart, special agent in charge for U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s Homeland Security Investigations in Boston, whose office headed the investigation that led to the prosecutions.

“HSI’s message is very simple,” he said at the press conference. “U.S. citizenship is not for sale and there are consequences for those who commit marriage fraud. If you commit marriage fraud, there isn’t going to be a honeymoon.”

The investigation was launched in 2005 and identified more than 40 sham marriages in the Lewiston/Auburn and Newport areas between U.S. citizens in Maine and nationals from Kenya, Uganda, Zambia and Cameroon. Prosecutions began in 2010.

Obama’s Aunt Zeituni dies; subject of infamous asylum case

Anyone who had read Obama’s and Bill Ayers’ book, ‘Dreams from my father,’ knew that Obama’s aunt, Zeituni Onyango, was in the US somewhere when he claimed not to know in 2008.

Obama’s Aunt Zeituni dead at 61.  Josh Reynolds/AP/2009

She had been ordered deported in 2004, but in a much publicized court case, she was granted asylum in 2010.

Keep in mind that her home country of Kenya is not one of the top places in Africa people claim asylum from, it is a stable country (Well, except for the Somali agitators and terrorists. I doubt she told the court she was running from Somalis!).  All of our coverage on Aunt Zeituni is here.

Aunt Zeituni died on Monday in a rehab center in Boston.

I wonder if the Obama’s will attend her funeral.  Aunt Zeituni had complained in 2009 that her famous nephew didn’t invite her to family gatherings.  That snub and the apparent disregard for the “brother in a hut” in Kenya are strange actions indeed for our supposedly good-hearted young President.

From the Boston Globe (Hat tip:  Judy):

President Obama’s aunt, Zeituni Onyango, who won asylum in 2010 after living illegally in Boston for several years, died on Monday night in a nursing home in the city, her legal team said.

The law office of Margaret W. Wong, one of Onyango’s immigration lawyers, confirmed on Tuesday that she died the night before in her sleep at the Kindred Nursing and Rehabilitation Harborlights facility in South Boston.

Onyango, 61, had taken ill in January and suffered from breast cancer and respiratory problems, Wong and a relative said.

[….]

The White House had no comment on Onyango’s passing. She was a native of Kenya and moved to South Boston in 2000, Wong’s office said. She was the half-sister of Obama’s late father.

[….]

Wong’s office said that Onyango was denied asylum in 2004 and nearly deported. Her case was leaked to the press during Obama’s presidential campaign in 2008.

[….]

Onyango, whom the president called Auntie Zeituni in one of his books, was ordered to leave the country in 2003, but she stayed. Later that year, she tried to stay again. But she lost the appeal, and an immigration judge ordered her deported in October 2004.

Instead, Onyango remained in Boston and lived in state and federal public housing. Critics have denounced her for defying deportation and for living in public housing while scores of families are on waiting lists.

Her lawyers successfully argued to reopen her case, and she was granted asylum in 2010.

In 2011, Zeituni’s brother Omar was discovered (drunk driving) living on the US taxpayers in Boston as well, and subsequently granted asylum.  Here is our archive on Uncle Omar.  See especially, Obama lies!
