Transforming immigrant “seedlings” to Democratic voters!
The New Americans Campaign is an advocacy group which is working in certain areas of the United States to get as many Legal Permanent Residents signed up for US citizenship as they possibly can—new Democrats of course!
I laugh every time I imagine (crazy I know) what would happen to all of these well-funded Open Borders advocacy groups if all of a sudden immigrants were registering to vote Republican! The organization would be shuttered in a heart beat!
They say in their literature:
8.5 million Legal Permanent Residents (LPRs) are eligible to naturalize—but fewer than one million naturalize each year.
With millions in funding they are working to change that!
The New Americans Campaign is part of the Naturalization Working Group, see here, which submitted comments to the Obama Task Force.

The New Americans Campaign has expanded to include collaborations in the East Bay Area, Napa County, Orange County, San Diego County, and San Francisco; and coalitions in the states of Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, and Washington.

Obama is changing America by changing the people! You might even say he is “colonizing” America!

Yesterday several readers directed me to a segment of the Mark Levin radio program where Levin interviewed “Sue” from Maryland.
Sue had been wise enough to get on recent conference calls with the White House Task Force on New Americans, we mentioned the Task Force hereand here.
In our first postwe told you who was in charge and that they were not “assimilating” immigrants. They are “integrating” them. The word “assimilate” is verboten in the Open Border circles.
The task force was created in November, here it is. Now they are getting to work under the guidance of none-other than former La Raza (“the race”) agitator Cecilia Muñoz and the Director of USCIS León Rodríguez.
In that second post, we copied verbatim the Task Force on New Americans instructions for getting on the call. Note that they wanted to keep whatever was said from the press:
“Note to the media: This engagement is not for press purposes.”
After hearing Sue’s description of what she heard, it is no wonder they didn’t want the press to know what was being said!

Let’s start with ‘Welcoming America’ a community organizing group headed by David Lubell that sprang from a seed in Nashville, TN and was watered initially with funding from a George Soros group. We told you about them here.
In June 2013, it was the first time we heard this ‘seeds and soil’ concept that Sue reported to Mark Levin. In the “emergent” immigrant communities, the new immigrants (newly amnestied and refugees) are the “seedlings” and your town is the soil.
Will the “seedlings” ultimately take over the host?
At that June 2013 Office of Refugee Resettlement “stakeholder” meeting in Lancaster, PA, we learned for the first time that the federal government had contracted ‘Welcoming America’ to get peoples’ minds right especially in areas where “pockets of resistance”(their words!) had formed.
Here is what I said about that presentation by ‘Welcoming America’ in June 2013:
“Welcoming America is on the case! They want to “transform” communities by “Building a Nation of Neighbors”!
Downs-Karkos described her organization’s job as “promoting understanding and support for refugees.” The whole concept is that YOU must improve your attitude to your new neighbors, not that the refugees must learn to fit into American society. We are a Nation of immigrants, they are coming, so get used to it was the basic message.
The refugees and immigrants are the seeds and your community is the soil into which they are being planted is how she described what is happening. Her group is working on improving the soil.”

Changing the definition of “refugee”
They are changing the legal definition of “refugee!”
Obama and his cabal of Open Borders agitators are working to further blur definitions involving categories of legal immigration (eg refugees) and illegal aliens something that is already very confusing to the average American and often the media as well.
Besides the ‘seedling and the soil’ imagery, Sue reported that the task force seeking to change America wants to transform all of the newly amnestied aliens into “refugees.”
That is an integral part of the plan which we have been saying is the real goal behind the ‘unaccompanied alien children’ invasion of the border—Obama, Munoz, Lubell and the gang want them all designated as refugees! Why? Because refugees have all forms of welfare (including health care) available to them while other classes of immigrants (both legal and illegal do not) and they are on a fast track to citizenship.
That is the point (the refugee definition change) we were trying to make on Fox & Friends earlier this month, here. Refugees are legally defined as being outside their own country and must prove that they fear returning home because they are persecuted for race, religion or political persuasion. Economic migrants are not refugees! The alien “children” are not refugees!
I wrapped up the interview with this line (notice I did not use the words “illegal immigration.”):
“I also think that immigration is our existential threat in this country, both [because of] the numbers and who we are bringing in.”
It is not just Obama!
Finally, remember this “seeding” concept has been going on for decades through Presidents of both parties as the US State Department and its contractors (all nine are progressive, six of them represent the “religious Left”) have been seeding communities with refugees — see our post just this weekabout how over 60 towns in Minnesota have been “salted” (I should have said “seeded!”) with Somalis. Obama is just taking it to a new level.
By the way, I will bet the contractors***were on that Task Force on New Americansconference call too!
Speaking of language—you are a racist if you don’t want to be replaced!
Again, they control the language: If you aren’t “welcoming” then that means to them you are unwelcoming=racist, redneck, xenophobic, nativist boob. Such language sends most good people running for cover. Or, in the case of politicians, especially Republican ones, they virtually wet their pants out of fear while Obama and the progressives move forward with their agenda of replacing you!

We previously told you about Obama’s pen (rule change) that would require any agency getting federal payola to abide by federal rules on sexual orientation of employees. I’m not sure this is part of that same Executive order, but it is the same concept—take federal money, follow federal rules.
This should be a great lesson for all who want to put their grubby hands into the taxpayers’ pockets! You do it and the government then owns you!

The Obama administration has issued interim final rules that require faith-based organizations to offer abortion referrals for unaccompanied child refugees entering the United States. The new regulations may restrict faith-based organizations’ ability to provide refugee aid, Catholic and evangelical relief organizations said.
Issued by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services’ Office of Refugee Resettlement, the rules set official standards for responding to sexual abuse among children entering the United States without their parents. But by requiring faith-based organizations to offer or refer abortions, the Obama administration has violated the organizations’ conscience rights, said Susan Yoshihara, senior vice president at the Center for Family and Human Rights. Currently, six of the nine resettlement organizations in the United States are faith-based.
If the six ‘religious’ refugee contractors use their own private funds they would not have their CONSCIENCES violated!
The U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) formally protested the rules Friday, joined by World Vision, National Association of Evangelicals, World Relief, and Catholic Relief Services. [So where is Lutheran Immigration and Refugee Services, one of the largest recipients of federal cash for the “children.” Not interested in their moral convictions.—ed]
The organizations stressed their commitment to their moral convictions, though hoping to resolve the conflict between the rules and their pro-life beliefs.
See all of our coverage of the ‘Unaccompanied minors’ issue, here. The USCCB is one of the largest recipients of federal funds to care for the kids and has been for a number of years. In 2014, 58,000 ‘unaccompanied minors’ entered the US which means, of course, that there is a lot of federal $$$ sloshing around to care for them.
Leo Hohmann at World Net Dailyhas yet another important read about the Refugee Admissions Program of the US State Department and he quotes Islam expert Robert Spencer at Jihad Watchasking that fundamental question about the Obama Administration’s “comprehensive approach” to taking on the ISIS/Islamist threat to America.
Homeland Security Chief Jeh Johnson warned that a Somalia-based terrorist group is encouraging “independent actors” to carry out attacks in Western countries, with the Mall of America in Minnesota among the specific targets, but he failed to mention that the U.S. continues to import hundreds of high-risk Islamic refugees from Somalia every month.
Like so many outside the State Department, I’m going to bet that Homeland Security chief Johnson has no real understanding of the more than three-decade-old refugee resettlement program that is responsible for a large percentage of the Muslim population in the US.
The U.S. State Department’s refugee-resettlement program has placed more than 100,000 Somalis into U.S cities and towns since the early 1990s – all of them Muslims hand-selected by the United Nations refugee agency. And Minnesota has become the most popular destination, with secondary hotspots in Maine, Ohio, Colorado and southern California. More than 800 new refugees from Somalia arrive in the United States every month, according to Refugee Resettlement Watch.
The constant influx has earned parts of Minneapolis the nickname “Little Mogadishu.”
Johnson told CNN Sunday that terrorist groups such as Somalia-based al-Shabab are “relying more and more on independent actors to become inspired” and “attack on their own.”
But he made no mention in any of his interviews on Sunday morning news shows of the program that brings these potential “independent actors” to the U.S. in the first place.
Johnson said there was a need for a “comprehensive” approach to fighting the ever-present threat posed by terror groups, including al-Shabab and the Islamic State or ISIS.
One would think that cutting off the spigot of Islamic immigration would play a role in any truly comprehensive approach, said Islam expert Robert Spencer, who runs the JihadWatch blog at the David Horowitz Freedom Center.
To talk about tackling the problem without addressing the refugee pipeline is disingenuous, Spencer said.
“The government’s ‘concern’ about these threats is completely undercut by the Obama administration’s immigration policies,” said Spencer. “More than 800 Somalis a month are entering the country.”

In fiscal year 2014 the U.S. admitted 9,000 Somali refugees. In the first four months of fiscal 2015 the U.S. admitted 3,536 new Somali refugees, or 884 per month.

Sigh! Sweden (apparently using a Marie Harf counter-terrorism job training program) runs into a little problem! The program is being shut down while authorities investigate if the unemployed ‘refugees’ were being recruited for ISIS.

Sweden has cancelled a job training program for new immigrants following reports that the program coaches were recruiting people for Takfiri terrorist groups.
“We have been alerted by participants that coaches have tried to recruit them to terrorist organizations,” Patrik Svensson, spokesman for Sweden’s National Labor Agency, said on Friday.
Svensson added that the agency had informed Sweden’s security service about the suspicious activities in the training program.
According to the Swedish official, the ISIL Takfiri terrorist group might be behind the recruitment.
The program was initiated in 2010 to tackle the high unemployment rate among new immigrants in Sweden.
