See this morning’s previous post on Sweden pulling up the ladder, but what will that mean as the invaders are still heading to “welcoming” Germany and Sweden. Will the backup, just like water building behind a dam, cause crisis and chaos in those countries through which they are now flowing?
Don’t you think it is fascinating that we aren’t seeing daily reports of the European crisis in the mainstream media—even Fox News isn’t bringing us these images. (Correction, maybe Fox is, but I don’t watch it very often anymore).

Sweden 'pulls up the ladder' and closes borders

First I saw this story from Al Jazeera about Sweden’s plan to close their border yesterday, and then I’m seeing that Breitbart tells us about the reaction of the migrants who had their feet in the door just the day before yesterday—they are happy Sweden is closing the gates behind them!
(Of course what will this mean for those already on the road behind them working their way northward through Europe?)
Al Jazeera:
Sweden will impose temporary border controls starting Thursday in response to an influx of refugees, a turnaround for a country known for its open-door policies that also threw down the gauntlet to other EU nations hit by a migration crisis.
Sweden’s prime minister is defending his decision to reintroduce border controls, saying it is no longer possible to properly control the country’s borders.
Stefan Lofven told reporters on Thursday that “when our authorities tell us we cannot guarantee the security and control of our borders, we need to listen.”
The decision by a Nordic state that touts itself as a “humanitarian superpower” underscored how the flow of refugees into the European Union is straining its prized system of open internal borders close to breaking point.
Sweden’s government had warned last week that it could no longer guarantee finding accommodation for newly-arrived refugees. [Remember the ‘no beds’ story, here—ed]
The minority government has faced pressure also from the center-right opposition and far-right, anti-immigrant Sweden Democrats — who are rising in polls — to tighten up on refugees.
The Swedish Migration Agency already plans to shelter thousands of refugees in heated tents due to a housing shortage, while some people may be accommodated in venues such as ski resorts and a theme park.
Some 10,000 refugees arrived last week, and 2,000 in one day — both records for Sweden. Compounding concerns, there have been more than a dozen suspected arson attacks on buildings earmarked for refugees in the last few months.
Why would Sweden take so many?
Now be sure to read Breitbart where those who got in are overjoyed that the border will be closed so they won’t have to compete with even more migrants for accommodations and welfare goodies.
One Syrian migrant told the paper: “I’m surprised how it is here in Sweden. If they can’t take care of us properly, they should not take so many”.

Soros spawn continuing Daddy's work with 'Bend the Arc' PAC
Someone (can’t remember who) sent this description of a new PAC’s immigration “reform” initiative, and I am posting it because several of you have commented that George Soros is an old man and he can’t possibly continue the destruction of Europe, here (Orban says Soros behind the invasion), or America for much longer. I said that he had sons who will fill his shoes and this is one of them.

The son of Democratic mega-donor George Soros is gearing up to play a more active role in the 2016 election with the launch of new political action committee focused on representing the views of Jewish Americans — beyond foreign policy.
Alex Soros, 29, who has steadily increased his political and philanthropic giving in recent years, has helped establish Bend the Arc PAC, the first ever national Jewish political action committee in America focused entirely on domestic issues. Bend the Arc, a non-profit, has an advocacy arm chaired by the younger Soros but has not previously had a political action committee.
Bend the Arc PAC will back progressive candidates by making direct contributions to their campaign committees. It will focus on issues such as income inequality, marriage equality, social justice and immigration reform.
“There’s an opportunity to launch something that actually speaks to what the American Jewish community cares the most about and to show the narrative of what the real American Jewish experience is,” Alex Soros said in an interview.

Soros said he hasn’t reached out yet to his father — a Hungarian Jew who became a billionaire after surviving the holocaust — about giving to Bend the Arc PAC. [We all know how he ‘survived!’—ed]
Islamic supremacists must get a good laugh out of Bend the Arc funding Rep. Keith Ellison! And, btw, Rep. David Cicilline is the Congressman who was promoting more Syrian refugee resettlement, here, for the Lutheran lobbyists late last month.
Bend the Arc PAC made its first round of endorsements on Tuesday. The group will be backing: Reps. Keith Ellison (D-Minn.), Jan Schakowsky (D-Ill.), Alma Adams (D-N.C.), Ruben Gallego (D-Ariz.), Barbara Lee (D-Calif.), Mark Takano (D-Calif.), David Cicilline (D-R.I.), Rick Nolan (D-Minn), Xavier Becerra (D-Calif.), Mike Honda (D-Calif.), Bonnie Watson Coleman (D-N.J.), and Yvette Clarke (D-N.Y.)

German Chancellor now wants to return to the old European asylum rules

After dispensing with the EU rule earlier this year that required that asylum seekers register and apply for asylum in the first country in which they arrive, Angela Merkel now says the rule is back in force. Of course, her earlier “welcome” set in motion the massive flow of migrants that now stretches throughout many countries in especially eastern Europe.
Here is the Wall Street Journal on the reinstatement of the rule. I bet some European leaders, like Orban in Hungary, are further enraged.
And, who is going to tell the moving masses they must return to the country they first set foot on in Europe.

BERLIN—Germany said Tuesday it could reject Syrian migrants if other European countries are officially responsible for their asylum requests, a move that in practice will affect few people but illustrated the government’s mounting efforts to signal that its ability to take in refugees was reaching its limits.
German Chancellor Angela Merkel has been trying to balance her continued message of welcoming refugees with responding to growing pressure from local and state governments, as well as senior members of her own party, to stem the continuing inflow of thousands of migrants a day.
The change in policy announced Tuesday was an example of that balancing act. The Interior Ministry said that since Oct. 21, it was again applying to all migrants EU rules that require the country in which a person first registers an asylum request to process that request.
In August, Germany had announced the suspension of those rules for Syrians, a move that officials say helped spur hundreds of thousands of refugees to make their way to the country.

Berlin: Thousands protest, demand Merkel resignation

We have seen lots of Germans take to the streets throughout the country to protest the (mostly Muslim) migrant invasion, but this is the first time I’ve seen one in the capital.

The anti-mass migration Alternativ für Deutschland (AfD) party held a rally in the German capital Berlin this afternoon, demanding the resignation of Chancellor Angela Merkel and calling for the country to adopt a strong policy on immigration.
The AfD has seen its popularity surge as Germany struggles to deal with the huge influx of migrants, and is currently campaigning in local elections in the Saxony-Anhalt region that will be seen as an indicator of public sentiment on the issue.
German paper Handelsblatt estimates that 5,000 people joined the rally this afternoon, calling for the immediate closure of Germany’s borders and introduction of Visa requirements from migrants from the Balkan states, including Serbia, Bosnia-Herzegovina and Montenegro.
Angry demonstrators chanted “Merkel must go” and “traitor to the people” under the banner “Asylum has its limits – red card for Merkel”.
