Arizona Iraqi refugee arrested in bomb-making plot, media avoids the ‘R’ word

Thanks to reader Julia for sending the story from the Daily Mail with the rather long headline:

REVEALED: Iraqi refugee who planned to carry out terror attacks with bombs he built in Las Vegas was caught in elaborate FBI sting teaching agents to make IEDs with skills he learned in Iraq

Check out the Daily Mail story with photos and a video.  The video mentions that the brother of the alleged wannabe bomber reported that they are Iraqi refugees.

But what interested me more than the actual news is that the US media is once again burying the information about Ahmad Suhad Ahmad being a REFUGEE we welcomed to America.

Ahmad reportedly wanted to bomb someone or something in Mexico.

I searched for a US story to write about and there are plenty, but most didn’t mention the refugee part of the story.  This one was the most interesting.

A refugee has been caught in the nick of time as he was making bombs to prepare for a terror attack, but the mainstream media wants to hide it from you.

Ahmad Suhad Ahmad, a refugee from Iraq, was caught in an undercover sting operation by the FBI making bombs in his Las Vegas hotel.

This is the reason you have to vet “refugees” as they attempt to flood into the United States.

Not every one of them is a freedom seeking migrant looking for a better life. Some of them want to take yours.

It is also the reason you have to vet stories from the mainstream media as it will do anything to push the idea that all refugees are good and there is no danger.

Fake News!

And, if I didn’t make myself completely clear in the post I wrote about the Pittsburgh synagogue shooting, because the mainstream media fails to tell the general public the full truth about refugees and how the resettlement process works, and about many other issues, conspiracy theories grow and fester.

Unfortunately, it is constant deceptive reporting from major media’s Leftist world-view that produces irrational actions by people who are angered by the continual half-truths they see every day at the Washington Post, the New York Times and on CNN (to name a few of the main culprits.)

And, it is how President Trump’s railing against “fake news” resonates with those now getting most of their news from alternative media on their phones and computers.  They see the full story (both sides!) by reading widely on the internet and feel they have been lied to by the dominant media.

Update: Just as I am ready to post, I see some stories now reporting the alleged bomb-maker’s refugee roots.

 

Pittsburgh Mayor Peduto refused to meet the President yesterday

Surely you know all about Democrat Mayor Bill Peduto shunning the President and his family when they went to Pittsburgh yesterday to pay their respects to those murdered in the synagogue attack last Saturday.  Here is one of many stories about the Mayor’s snub.

By the way, the Rabbi, who was leading services on Saturday when the attack happened, welcomed the President saying “he is my President.”

So, what does this have to do with RRW?

Let’s take a trip down memory lane!

Mayor Bill Peduto was one of 18 mayors who signed a 2015 letter to then President Obama telling the President that 10,000 Syrian refugees for America in the upcoming fiscal year was too few and they wanted Obama to ultimately admit 100,000.

The letter was organized by Cities for Action which says it is: “A coalition of city governments who stand in support of stronger cities through immigration action.”

As you know, President Trump is permitting very few Syrians to enter the US at the present time.

UN to Trump: You must let them in!

Here we go again!

The United Nations is demanding that we follow international law and let those fleeing violence in their Central American countries (not a criteria for granting asylum) into the US.  What happened with that supposed effort to tell Mexico to grant them asylum—that is what international law says!

The first safe country asylum seekers reach is where they must ask for asylum.

Clearly the UN is endorsing the concept of “asylum shopping” a term used around the world where migrants are on the hunt for their best deal.

But, you know all of that.

The caravan is an anti-Trump public relations stunt in the run-up to the midterm elections and it seems the whole world is in on it.

UN: Countries Must Allow People at Risk to Request Asylum

The U.N. refugee agency is urging Washington to allow people fleeing persecution and violence, including those who are traveling with the Central American caravan, to request asylum on U.S. territory.

U.S. President Donald Trump has vowed to prevent a caravan of thousands of immigrants from Honduras, Guatemala and El Salvador from entering the United States. The Pentagon has announced plans to send hundreds of troops to the border in what is described as a support role.

The U.N. refugee agency will not weigh in on whether it is legal for a country to close its borders to refugees and asylum seekers. But it says international law clearly states any person whose life may be in danger has the right to seek asylum and benefit from international protection.

What you see happening with gobbledygook in that previous paragraph is a strategy to make you think that every person on the move anywhere is a legitimate refugee.  We aren’t there yet, but the UN is driving public opinion in that direction.

There has to be a reason for “danger,” generalized danger is not a reason for granting asylum.  To be granted asylum a person must prove that he or she would be persecuted for race, religion, political views if returned to one’s home country.  Running from gang violence or poor job prospects does not make someone a refugee!

UN spokesman Andrej Mahecic says there are security risks for the migrants as they travel through Mexico.  Well gee, is that our problem? The UN can simply and easily get them back to their homes. (If they were really that concerned.)

“Our position globally is that the individuals who are fleeing persecution and violence need to be given access to territory and protection including refugee status and determination procedure. And, if the people who are fleeing persecution and violence enter Mexico, they need to be provided access to the Mexican asylum system and those entering the United States need to be provided access to the American asylum system,” he said.

But to get to the US they must pass through Mexico!

So that (above) tells me that any migrant caravan marchers who didn’t ask for asylum in Mexico when they crossed in to that country are admitting they aren’t asylum seekers after all.

Hence when they reach the US border they will all be illegal aliens and we can keep them out!

Mahecic keeps trying to send his message:

He said it is urgent to stabilize the situation, to provide proper reception and to improve basic conditions for people on the move. In regard to people seeking asylum, he says their international protection needs must be properly assessed before any decision is taken on their return or deportation.

Remember that Mahecic and his bosses are trying to drive public opinion world wide to their view that migration is a human right.  If they succeed then obviously that spells the end of the concept of national sovereignty.

Trump’s America First! message is completely antithetical to the UN’s objective, thus their on-going effort to destroy him.

Don’t you just feel like telling the UN to shut up! Of course, using only non-violent means by cutting off their funds entirely!

Michigan story about refugee slowdown reveals what citizens really think

Today when I saw one more story about some gathering somewhere meant to tell the public how bad the Trump administration is as it slows the flow of third worlders to unsuspecting middle America towns, my first thought was: blah! blah! blah!

However, for a change I had a good look at the comments to the story at Michigan Live, and I am glad I did!

ANN ARBOR, MI – The U.S. accepted a record low number of refugees in 2018, and now Michigan resettlement agencies are questioning their future.

Right now America looks terrible because we are no longer out there defending the most vulnerable people in the world,” said Mark Hetfield, CEO of HIAS, the world’s oldest refugee resettlement agency, based in Maryland. “That’s something that we have done consistently across Republican and Democratic administrations, and we have stopped doing that and thrown refugee protection into reverse.”

Hetfield participated in a panel discussion on present and future challenges related to refugee resettlement on Monday, Oct. 22, at the University of Michigan’s Rackham Graduate School.

The panel was part of a two-day “Keeping Our Door Open” symposium in Ann Arbor coordinated by UM’s School of Social Work, C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital and Jewish Family Services of Washtenaw County.

If readers simply look at the title and read a bit of the story one would think that the propagandists might actually be reaching people.

Refugee (noun): a person who has been forced to leave their country in order to escape war, persecution, or natural disaster.

How many of these “refugees” are actually falling into one of these categories? How many are coming here because they just don’t like where they live and they heard you can get in by claiming refugee status.

According to the article – “Refugees are entitled to government assistance coordinating travel plans to get to the U.S. and then resettlement services that can include assistance with transportation, housing, English language classes, health care, food, education, employment and citizenship services.”

So if I lived in a very poor country – that sounds like a good deal to me.

So maybe consider those actual refugees are being turned around because they actually aren’t refugees.

Have you noticed that most of the immigrants in the horde coming from Guatemala and Honduras are males in the 20 to 30 age group. They carry their country’s flag but refuse to stay in their country and make it better. I’m sure glad the colonialists were not like them. They stayed and fought to make a better country. Also many who are interviewed say they are coming to the USA for a job. A job is not a reason to seek asylum.

Did these opportunist mouthpieces disclose the taxpayer-funded profits (BILLIONS) involved with resettling and wrap-around assistance? This isn’t compassion, it’s greed. Everyone involved is making money off the scam. Except, of course, middle class taxpayers.

This is an encouraging example of how educated citizens are becoming about the US Refugee Admissions Program.

All of you should take the opportunity every chance you get to comment to news stories in your communities.

And, then go vote!

US refugee resettlement contractors surviving for now on “leftover” federal dollars

We reported recently that the nine federally-funded non-profit groups that have monopolized all resettlement in the US for the last decade (some of them for three decades) will see their numbers diminished as the President continues reducing refugee resettlement.

By becoming almost completely dependent on federal dollars, they built a house of cards.

Love it when I see stories about the IRC crying over its loss of federal boodle. I can tell readers again that its CEO, British national David Miliband, pulls in a cool nearly $700,000 annual salary.  Here in Manhattan where they are headquartered. Is this socialist sharing his good fortune with employees who are let go?

In this post two days ago we reported that two so-called VOLAGS would likely not receive contracts.  I expect the reporter got it wrong when he suggested as many as seven could be booted off the federal gravy train.

Another story designed to tug on your heartstrings, this time from San Diego, wasn’t really worth posting except for a few paragraphs deep within the story.

With fewer refugees coming, resettlement agencies may be forced to close

 

The International Rescue Committee was able to reunite at least one person — a Rohingya refugee fleeing Myanmar — with family here, according to Duvin [Donna Duvin, executive director of the International Rescue Committee in San Diego.—ed]

The agency also began receiving refugees being held by Australia on Nauru Island. [This was a bit of useful news. We wondered where they might be going—ed]

The process, based on an agreement the U.S. made with Australia before Trump took office, has been slow, Duvin said, but she was happy that some were making it through.

Resettlement agencies like Jewish Family Service and International Rescue Committee have had to restructure their programs because of the lower numbers of arrivals. When staff positions fell vacant, they often went unfilled. Those who remained shifted to providing longer-term services to refugees who had already arrived, and agencies became increasingly reliant on private donations to fund their work.  [Well, it is about time.  It was supposed to be a 50/50 partnership but as you see below here*** it has become a program almost exclusively funded by US taxpayers!—ed]

Waiting for the ax to fall!

While resettlement agencies prepare for the possibility of even fewer arrivals in fiscal 2019, they still don’t know how much money they will receive to do their work or whether they will be allowed to stay open. Since the Trump administration is still working out details about the 2019 resettlement efforts, it has not yet released its budget for the program for this year.

Leftover money! Leftover money! Your leftover money! 

Local resettlement agencies are operating through December with leftover money from the fiscal 2018 budget because the number of resettled refugees didn’t reach the 45,000 cap. They have been told that some of the nine agencies nationwide may be asked to close their doors once the 2019 budget is finalized.

A State Department official confirmed that the administration is expecting to fund a smaller number of resettlement agencies.

The present US Refugee Admissions Program will never be reformed if the system of paying the contractors by the head stays in place and the contractors are permitted to act as Leftwing political agitation groups, community organizers and lobbyists paid on our dime!  

And, to add insult to injury they pretend it is all about ‘humanitarianism.’

The number in parenthesis is the percentage of their income paid by you (the taxpayer) to place the refugees into your towns and cities and get them signed up for their services (aka welfare)!  And, get them registered to vote eventually!
