Editor: I’m back and there is so much news I don’t know where to begin! I hope you have been able to follow my Twitter feed over the last ten days at Twitter, or here at RRW, where I posted the most interesting bits I came across while traveling.

This story is all over the internet, so I expect you have seen it already.  I’m posting it to make the point that although the story is about the UK, the US should be cutting the UN completely loose from our decision-making process when choosing refugees for America for FY19. The UN tells the US which refugees to accept and from where, but that is changing under this President.

(As we speak, the deep state and the White House are surely at loggerheads over numbers for the coming year.)

You’ve probably heard snatches of information about how some of the ‘parents’ of children separated as they crossed the US border illegally were not even the parents of the children too young to speak for themselves, but only snatches because the mainstream media doesn’t want you to hear the truth.

So the White House has put out some data that you need to keep handy when discussing the issue with friends and family who are swallowing the Left’s talking points to paint the Trump Administration in the most evil terms.

Refugee contractors begin political pressure to up refugee numbers for FY19; they want 75,000

We would sure like more in Kansas says refugee contractor—the International Rescue Committee (headed by moneybags Miliband).

The IRC is headquartered in Manhattan where Brit David Miliband is pulling down an annual salary of nearly $700,000 as he places third world refugees in the heartland.

Here is the first news I’m seeing of the nine refugee contractors*** beginning their push to pressure the President to increase the ceiling for refugee admissions for Fiscal Year 2019 which begins on October 1, 2018.

Long time readers know that the President sets a CEILING for admission sometime in September and “consults” with Congress, but Congress, although it has the power to dole out money, has in the past just let the President pretty much do what he wants to do.

By demanding a ceiling that they know is unrealistic for this President, they will use the President’s ultimate number (likely low) to bludgeon him in the media yet again.

Hebrew Immigrant Aid Society: Send $$$ so we can continue to fight the Prez and work with Islamic Relief

I told you again about the Hebrew Immigrant Aid Society (HIAS) here the other day.
They are one of nine federal contractors receiving millions of your tax dollars annually, AND they were a lead organization suing the Trump Administration over the travel ban.
Raising private money is a good thing, but….
Why should we be required to pay for more than half of their budget for their pet projects (including working to encourage more migrants to cross the US border) as outlined by their President and CEO in an appeal for funds today:

In case you didn’t know, Mr. Hetfield makes an annual salary of over $300,000!  If private donors want to pay that salary that is their business, but taxpayers shouldn’t be on the hook for any of it!

 
Let them raise all of their funding from private donations!
Ask your members of Congress and US Senators over the upcoming break why you should have to pay one dime for their political activities! ($24.5 million of your tax dollars in 2016 alone!)
 
 
 

Important free speech case involving Twitter moves forward

I first told you about the case filed by Jared Taylor (American Renaissance) against Twitter here in February.
Now we learn that Taylor’s lawsuit can advance as a California judge refuses Twitter’s effort to dismiss the case.

Editor: I use Twitter almost daily and was steadily moving upward in follower numbers until a few months ago.  It isn’t my imagination, I know that Twitter is doing something (maybe shadow-banning to some of my 14 thousand followers) to keep my numbers down. So they don’t have to ban you outright as they did Taylor, they simply make sure you can’t expand your reach.
