Two months to go in fiscal year and Trump on target to admit lowest number of refugees to US in decades

As of August 1, the US admitted 18,251 refugees to the country with 48 states sharing the load.

There are only two months left in the fiscal year (FY19 begins October first) and at the present rate, the Trump Administration should come in just over 22,000.

Previous low admission years came in the wake of 9/11 when President Bush dramatically slowed the program out of concerns for national security.

Here is a map from Wrapsnet of where the 18,251 have been placed thus far.

Note that Texas is the numero uno ‘welcoming’ state even though the governor officially withdrew the state from the program (shows how futile that was!). Turning the red state blue!

RCUSA, lobbying arm of refugee industry, kicks off month of action tomorrow

RCUSA=Refugee Council USA. That is the consortium of Leftwing Open Borders groups, led by the nine refugee contractors, headquartered in Washington DC.

It is not a surprise that they are ramping up their political agitation in August when Congress is in recess and as the September deadline approaches for the President to consult with Congress about his “Determination” for how many refugees could be ‘welcomed’ to America in FY19 which begins on October 1, 2018.

Reader Cathy alerted me to this page at the US Department of Justice website. I had never seen it before, but I will be checking it regularly from now on.

Go to the Department of Justice, here. Then in the search window type ‘immigration fraud‘ and up pops some juicy bits of news you probably never saw in the media.

I’m just shaking my head… here we have the biased publication, The Hill, posting a news story (designed to whack the President) that basically says it is shameful that the US is not taking more refugees than the rest of the world COMBINED!

I bet many new readers here never even knew that we have been taking more refugees than the rest of the world COMBINED. To hear the Open Borders yappers, you were probably thinking that Germany, Turkey, Jordan, or Lebanon could claim that honor.

Nine months in to fiscal year, Trump could break record low number of refugees admitted to US

George W. Bush held the previous record low refugee admission years —27,070 in 2002 and 28,117 in 2003—following the national shock of 9/11.

Trump and GW bush smirk — Unless Donald Trump puts refugee program in to high gear in coming months, he will set the record for the lowest resettlement year since the Refugee Act of 1980 was signed in to law by JIMMY CARTER. GW Bush held previous record.

But, Donald Trump, if the present rate continues, could come in as low as 21,000-22,000 admissions before the fiscal year ends on September 30th.
Readers will recall that the President set the CEILING for this fiscal year at 45,000.
However, before you celebrate, remember that lowering the numbers for a few years is not enough, the US Refugee Admissions Program (USRAP) must be reformed at its very basic level (requiring Congress!) or once President Trump is no longer in office the program will simply go in to overdrive as the Open Borders advocates and resettlement contractors attempt to make up for what they will see as lost time in changing America by changing the people.
