Immigrant polygamy in France called “breeding for cash”

I don’t know what is happening to AP but they seem to be getting a bit more conservative lately.  I had been meaning to tell you about the burqa ban in Belgium and France, but hadn’t gotten around to it.  This AP story gives you some information on that and something a lot more important and destructive regarding Muslim immigration.  Polygamy!

It’s been sometime since we’ve mentioned it at RRW, but polygamists are coming into the US through the refugee program.  No one will say it officially but we hear rumblings.  The second or third wife will be a “sister” or some other close relative and be resettled in the same community as the polygamist and wife #1.  One tip-off I’m told—Shariah-following Muslim women are not promiscuous so if one is ‘pregnant out of wedlock’ look around for a ‘husband.’

This AP story tells us how the welfare system is gamed in Europe with Muslim men actually making money while breeding.

PARIS — The burqa, or face-covering veil, is getting all the attention in the debate over Muslim immigrants in France. But another controversial tradition among some immigrants is less noticed and far more widespread: Polygamy.

The issue resurfaced last week after a woman received a traffic citation in the western city of Nantes for driving with a veil over her face. Officials then accused her husband of having at least three other wives, and said he may be profiting from them financially while the state pays the bill.

Polygamy is one of several issues, like forced marriage or genital mutilation, that France and other European nations face, as immigrants arrive with customs that conflict with the law of the land. But experts say polygamy in France can also be linked to fraud, where husbands hijack a generous social welfare system to line their pockets with state funds from each of their wives.

“They practice polygamy just for that,” said Jean-Marie Ballo, founder of an association that helps women escape from polygamous situations, Nouveaux Pas, or New Steps. “I’d go so far as to say that polygamists here (in France) are breeding for cash.”

It’s pretty easy to see how the French (and other Europeans) are being outnumbered by immigrant population growth when the immigrants have this racket going.

Muslims vs. McDonalds

If I were a betting person I would put my money on the Muslims especially since you can be sure that CAIR is already on the scene.  CAIR is the Council on American Islamic Relations (aka the Muslim Mafia) and if I were a betting person, I’d bet CAIR is behind this.   An immigrant from Bangladesh was told she could not wear her head scarf while working at McDonald’s in Detroit. From UPI:

DETROIT, April 14 (UPI) — A Muslim woman in Michigan says she was turned down for a job at McDonald’s because she wears a headscarf or hijab.

Nasihah Barlaskar, 19, the daughter of immigrants from Bangladesh, has filed a discrimination complaint with the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission [many critics call the EEOC CAIR’s handmaiden-ed], the Detroit Free Press reported. She alleges she failed to get a job at a McDonald’s restaurant in Rochester Hills because of religious bias.

In an interview with the newspaper, Barlaskar said a manager asked her during a March 27 interview whether she was required to wear “that thing,” referring to her headscarf. She said she responded: “I do. Is that a problem?”

The manager told her she would not be able to wear the hijab on the job, she said.

Meanwhile other western countries are actually attempting to ban the hijab, most notably Canada, Belgium and France.  I haven’t followed the news that closely on the issue in those countries so I don’t know where it stands, but will report it here when I find out.

Just for your information, Bangladesh is a Muslim country that has been making the news lately for its attacks on Rohingya Muslims seeking refuge there.  Because Bangladesh is discriminating against its co-religionists we have begun resettling Rohingya to the US.   That is a whole other story that you can learn about in our Rohingya Reports category here.

Dallas: Darfur refugee murders another Darfur refugee

Ho hum!  Looks like another Muslim honor killing.  The male half is dead but police caught the murderer before he could kill the female half of the supposed illicit relationship.

From the Dallas Morning News:

Ahmed Mohammed thought he’d found a safe home after leaving conflict-ravaged Darfur, but violence caught up to him as he slept in his far northeast Dallas apartment Monday morning.

Mohammed, 32, was fatally stabbed by another Darfur refugee who wrongly believed the victim had impregnated his sister-in-law, authorities said. The suspect, Abdelbakheit Khamis of Amarillo, was taken into custody on suspicion of murder and was being held in the Dallas County jail.

“It’s a pretty weird deal,” said Sgt. Ray Beaudreault, a Dallas homicide unit supervisor.* “He thought that the victim was having affairs with his brother’s wife. He was convinced that the victim was responsible for her pregnancy.”

Caught by police before he could reach the woman (who says the victim was innocent of impregnating her):

“I grabbed him and took the knife from him,” Adam [roommate of the victim] said.

Khamis fled in a white sport utility vehicle as Adam called police.

Shortly afterward, police stopped Khamis at Greenville Avenue and LBJ Freeway. Blood smeared his clothing.

“According to detectives, he was on his way to kill his sister-in-law when he was stopped by the officers,” Beaudreault said.

Notice the article tells us the murderer was working in meatpacking in Amarillo (a big refugee resettlement hot spot).

Then this.  One wonders how much these Muslims were persecuted in Darfur if they were traveling back and forth to Africa for a little bride shopping.

Last August, Mohammed went back to Africa to visit his parents, four sisters and two brothers. He was eager to marry and start a family in America. “He kept telling me, ‘I have to go back and marry and bring my wife,’ ” Khalil said.

*By the way, Dallas police shouldn’t be surprised by the nature of the crime since a notorious honor killing happened in Texas two years ago, here.

New Zealand: refugee girl raped and forced to marry the rapist

This is one of those stories about the joys of multiculturalism and how diversity adds richness to the communities in which refugees reside.   Posted at a blog from Canada, the blogger ends with this line:

This is why the cultural relativism and tolerance doctrine that forms the basis of multiculturalism stinks! All cultures are not equal, and some cultures and ideologies are, in fact, totally contemptible.

I’m reminded of a story we posted over two years ago from New Zealand where a Somali woman pulled a knife on airline pilots here, otherwise we don’t often get stories from New Zealand.

No death penalty for Iraqi in honor killing of daughter

AP is reporting today that the Iraqi immigrant who murdered his daughter by running her down with his vehicle will not face the death penalty in Arizona.  We intitially told you about the sad case here.

PHOENIX — Prosecutors in Arizona say a father accused of running down and killing his daughter in what has been described as an “honor killing” will not face the death penalty.

Maricopa County prosecutors announced the decision Thursday in the case against 48-year-old Faleh Almaleki.

The Iraqi immigrant is accused of killing his daughter by using his Jeep Cherokee to run her down along with another woman in a Peoria parking lot Oct. 20 because she had become too Westernized.

Noor Almaleki later died of her injuries.

Faleh Almaleki is charged with first-degree murder, aggravated assault and two counts of leaving the scene of a serious accident.

He has pleaded not guilty to all charges.
